Photoshop

Add color marks for brushes same as for layers, for example if I want mark some of my brashes red, some green etc. To be able better and faster find specific brushes what I need in a brash pallet, but right clock. Thanks. 

Is there a way we can get those two improvements for Smart Objects - I'm watiting for those for many years.*) Being able to preseve layer styles from inside the Smart Object. Now everything is converted to "Normal".*) Being able to define the sharpening method for Smart Objects individually. They bother me all the time, especiall the first one.

PhotoShop should have an overflow text indicator, like Illustrator & InDesign (when using a bounded text box). I understand that PhotoShop is not necessarily a page layout program, but many times it's easier to build out everything there vs importing into another app. Seems like this would be a simple feature to add to the default setup.Illustrator - Overflow Text Indicator: PhotoShop - NO Overflow Text Indicator: 

I'd love to be able to place 1 photo above/across 2 artboards so I don't have to create the same layer on each artboard and line them up. Is there already a way to do this or would anyone else appreciate this functionality?

I understand from a very reliable source that CS6 and Lightroom 4 will be the last photoshop software that will be available to actually purchase and own. In other words...You will not be able to purchase the software either on a disc or download that is yours to use indefinitely once you purchase the product. It will only be available via the cloud and everyone will be required to pay monthly license fee to use the product. This will allow all upgrades as long as you pay the fee...but if you cease to pay the fee, the software will be deactivated. If this is the case...and I believe it is...THIS SUCKS! I have been Adobe user since I purchase the CS2 Creative Suite and used lightroom since it's inception. I have not purchase every upgrade, but have done so when I felt the changes warranted an upgrade. If Adobe insists on this business model, I will probably use one of the other photo editing product available on the market. There are several that will do most everything Adobe's software

As an artist with traditional background that loves doing digital art I think it would be really useful and would get a lot of new artist atention into Photoshop. The idea I want to propose is a brush randomizer that goes trough an array(in terms of software development) with various different brushes from one stroke to the next one. It would be really helpful becouse the traditional "randomness" is close but lacks a bit of random interferences in the perfection of digital art. For example a scattered brush would be set randomly by the script or custom brush with these features and the next stroke would be a more hard brush without the artist being able to predict or have to change to another brush to create the traditional feel of not 100% control.Hope it can ve viable to develop, I think it would be an interesting and useful feature that not only photoshop but other painting softwares are lacking it.Thanks for reading! Layer styles are useful because of their parametric and their non-destructive natures. Smart Filters are useful, but require the creation of a smart object beforehand. I'd like to suggest new layer styles, of commonly used effects, that would help to automate time-consuming tasks.   Cast Shadow would simulate the shadow casted by a light placed in front or behind the object/layer. It would use most of the controls found on the proposed Mirror layer style (point of origin, distance, angle, blurring, fade, shrinking, enlarging...)   I hope that other users will chime in with proposed refinements, or create other threads with additional (useful and feasible) layer styles they'd like to see.

This is a great feature, but unfortunately it works only with rasterized layers.For a non-destructive workflow it should either work with Smart objects or convert its output to a Curves adjustment layer. Since any color correction can be done with the Curves, I'm pretty sure it's possible 🙂

As a UI designer I toggle the Snap to pixelgrid option on and off many times per day. This feature requires a easy override shortcut instead of being hidden in preferences. Maybe by adding ctrl to the move shortcuts for example?

Hey,  I am frusstrated, when i copy keyword, then many of them have no comma or semicolon. It would be helpfull if we would have the option that photoshop sees those strings (space, #, or other) and turns them into a comma or semicolon. That would make the keywording so much easier.  The best thing of all would be if we could use the keyword AI from Adobe Stock !  Or does anybody know a good Ai that I can use?  I am so tiered ... and my typo is so bad ....  thanxs Peter 

A duplicate feature would be very useful in my industry where we mostly use photoshop to draw production ready artwork. Similar to Symmetry but instead of mirroring across guides, it duplicates what you're drawing along each guide. User placed x/y guides that can snap to grid/guide lines at any angle without limit (or at least with a high limit) would make certain tedious tasks very efficient. ie. A lot of production work in textiles require repeating artwork from one position to another position that's a specific distance away (the repeat size). If I'm doing this in Illustrator then it's fairly easy because I can just create symbols and in-line edit them right on the canvas. Photoshop's Smart Objects aren't as slick and require I open another canvas to edit them, make it harder to do when I have multiple references and having to match the smart objects near the repeat mark. So I end up having to copy the artwork over to the repeat edge along the guidelines over and over, tak

Please, allow  sbsars import as custom  adjustment layers and custom filters  with access to any specific  inputs.   The way we could use Substance Designer as a node based Photoshop extention.  Like we can with Painter.   The current sbsar support is just for  check in report . Totally useless.

In Photoshop CC, I think there should be a way to choose the interpolation method (Bicubic/Bilinear/etc) for Smart Objects. When transforming a Smart Object, the Interpolation dropdown that's there for other raster transforms should be in that Options bar. Smart Objects are far less useful when I don't have control of this interpolation, and I find myself avoiding Smart Objects because of this issue. I find that my smart objects look overly sharpened when I downscale them.

It seems odd to me that there is no flip canvas horizontally or vertically option on the photoshop app for the iPad, so maybe I'm missing it. But if I'm not, can you please add this feature soon?

Since a lot of people like using frequency seperation from time to time as a means of retouching their images, I was wondering if either of those 2 options is in the works?

Hello, Please refer to the attached pictures. When 4k monitors are used, it is extremely difficult to operate with handlers located in Blend If panel and Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. In order to drag handlers to make selection range wider, I have to struggle with placing mouse cursor over handler with a pixel precission. Usually a couple of times I try to catch small icon of end of range. It is really frustrating. I have foung quickly 2 places where this problem is especially annoying. Mostlikely there are more places worth to improve.

I am clicking on objects when Auto-Select is turned off and the warning message appears. This slows me down and kills my flow.  Other warning dialog boxes have the option to be disabled. This one should too! Seems obvious to me and it looks like others complained about this for a long time. Please give us the option to turn this message off, either in the dialog box or in preferences. Thanks (Photoshop 2023. macOS 12.6. )

When making social media content, I will usually use the same elements but need the image to be resized for Linkedin, Instagram, Twitter, etc preferred image size. I feel it would add to my workflow if I could save one photoshop document with multiple layer comps for each media platform, and keeping all the files related to a specific post all in one place. It seems currently, Layer Comps should allow me to do this, but the only thing missing is the ability to save canvas size in layer comps.

In CS konnte man per Rechtsklick am Lineal die Einheiten wechseln, das funktioniert auch in CC. Was innerhalb von CC nicht mehr funktioniert, ist die Übernahme der neuen Linealeinheit auf weitere Eingaben z.B. bei einer festen Definition mit dem Auswahlwerkzeug. Man muss daher die Einheiten selbst hinzufügen, was bei stetig wechselnden Einheiten etwas nervig ist und meiner Ansicht nach auch nicht logisch.
