Photoshop Elements

Have bought and paid Photoshop Elements and registered it on Adobe. Mac OS Sonoma with latest update. Can't download PS Elements, gets a dialog box but when I press the "download" button (which is white and not blue) nothing happens. If I right-click on the download button, it will only be a white box.   [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Elements forum]  

I have used this edit before but now it is not working and I cannot tell what has changed. After I select "Paint Brush", the photo is covered with the semi-transparent film, but when I stamp the pattern on the photo, it does not "show" the photo.  The semi-transparent film remains.  I have tried different brushes, sizes, and transparencies, but nothing works. Any suggestions?

Hi I just tried to restore a backup of my photos using the restore function on Photoshop Elements 2020.It can't find the backup.tly file in the appropriate directory. I checked the previous backup done with Elements 2020 and it is also missing the backup.tly file. I checked the previous backup done on and older version of Elements and the file is there. Is there any was to restore the newer version? There have been many changes since the last backyp that has an backup.tly file and would be very difficult to do. I am using Windows 10. You think you are safe. I had the latest backup files stored in 2 different locations. How are you supposed to know to check that the backup is complete. I always wait until the "backup complete" message shows up before finishing. 

HOW DO I MOVE IMAGES FROM PS ELEMENTS TO FACEBOOK USING PHSHOP ELEMENTS2023

After the free trial of PSE 2020 on my Mac (Catalina version 10.15.7) I paid and tried to download but Adobe wants to download 2024.

The PE2023 opening screen is small.  Maximize is greyed out.  How can I make the screen full size?  Where are the settings to PE2023?  Maybe I could do it in settings.

The pull down menu's in the Organizer 2021 do not work.  I bought the upgrade online from Adobe and downloaded the Elements package. When I click on a pulldown selection in Organizer, the list does not appear and the bottom line of the box around the pulldown item disappears.  The pulldowns in the Editor works fine, problem only seems to be in Organizer.   Updating from Elements 2018  

Does anyone know how to fix this? 

Just crazy Adobe is a billion$ coorporation but they have no direct customer support ZiltMy Element keeps crashing due to an error It kept saying error then it shut down

I have a new computer running Win 11. I was able to download Photoshop Elements 2020 by moving the install file out of download folder and on to the desktop. After the install when I open the app a pop-up says an update is available. When I select the update the updater starts and goes to a 17% install but never completes.Support could not helpThe download Adobe makes availabe is Version 18 which requires an update. This makes no sense.

After 8 years I'm moving form an iMac to a Mac mini. I backed up a catalog on an external drive on the old iMac and then mounted the external drive on the Mac mini. The path to the backup file is/Volumes/TTS-3TB/Alan/PSE-backup/(lots of files including Backup.tly). In organizer when I try to run Restore Catalog, after browsing to the appropriate location, it tells me there is not a valid backup file in /Volumes/TTS-3TB. (I told it to look at  /Volumes/TTS-3TB/Alan/PSE-backup). I really need to get this to work. This is the first of 5 catalogs (150,000 photos) that have created using 2 or 3 versions of PSE and heve stored photos in at least 2 locations. Suggestions?

I know this is a dumb question for most of you but I hope someone will answer me. I am older and don't get it all with plugsins. I put some in the plugins folder but how and where do you get them to work in Photoshop elements 15? They never how up anywhere? I'd love to get a few to work  please someone take a minute to help an old lady.

I have always transfered pictures from my iPhone to Elements on my PC by using USB cable and File-GetPhotos-From Camera - since Beginning of November, the above prompt shows up and I can not transfer any pictures. Can anyone help me? I tried searching the site, I have tried each USB port on my PC, my settings on my phone have not changed....

If I lighen a small area of an image, how can i feather this in to blend in with the rest of the image?

When I reconnect images before backup it has a missing file. Auto find runs forever and when you go to find it yourself it does not list any files missing but in the right panel it has a part of a screen cappture. have converted from 2023 with no missing files and then rechecked and it shows the same file. As far as I know the file it displays in the rigt screen does not exist.

I am creating a 12 x 12 scrapbook page.  When I select a text box I have to enter a size 1 font to get it to be small enough to fit on the page - but really that is still bigger than I want.  If I use a size 12 font it prints out at about 1" long.Could be user error as I am new to Elements

There used to be a feature in an Adobe Photoshop Elements that allowed you to take the best face or each person in a photo and create one new one with the best of each person. This was especially helpful if in one picture someone had a strange expression, was talking, or blinked. You would use the selection tool on each photo and you would click a button and each person's best face was in one photo and you could delete the extras photos. Is this still a feature? If so, how do you do this step now? If it is no longer a feature in Elements, is it avaialbe in an upgraded product? P.S. I am not looking for Liquify. The solution I am lookng for was really quick and easy to use. 

Hallo. Ich bin ein wenig frustiert, weil mir niemand helfen kann/will.Ich hatte von Photoshop Element 2020 eine Lizenz (zum Vollpreis) über Rakunten gekauft. Händler war SoftwareNow.de. Es hat auch soweit gut funktioniert. Nach längerer Nichtbenutzung lässt sich die Software nur noch um Testmodus starten, weil die Lizenz widerrufen wurde.Im freundlichen Kontakt im dem Adobe Support wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass meine Lizenz nun einer anderen Email zuordnet ist, und mir nicht helfen kann,weil die Lizenz von einem Wiederverkäufer statt. Also habe ich den damaligen Verkäufer kontaktiert. Ohne Erfolg, Webseite und Email gibt's nicht mehr, anscheinend eine Geschäftsaufgabe. Nun kann es aber nicht sein, dass ich meine Lizenz nicht mehr nutzen kann, weil es den Verkäufer nicht mehr gibt. Im Adobesystem muss doch hinterlegt sein, dass ich (also meine Adobe-ID) die Lizenz zuerst verwendet habe. 

Hallo,ich habe einen Upgrate von Photoshop 2024 auf meinem Mac gemacht.Jetzt werden zwar alle von mir vorher bei Fotoshop 2023 installierten Ordner, inklusive Miniaturfotos angezeigt, beim Anklicken der Fotos tut sich nichts, weil keine Verbindung zur Originaldatei existiert.Wie kann ich für alle Fotos zusammen die Verbindung herstellen?

How can I disable the Add Name circle from appearing around the faces of people in my photos.  This has just started happening.  I am using PSE 2023.  I created my own name tags under People Tags when I was using PSE 10 and would prefer to manually apply these tags.Thanks very much.

I have just purchased an upgrade to Photoshop Elements 2024, primarily for the Sky Replacement function.I've watched tutorials and follow it throught to the Edit drop down tab, which shows a Sky Replacement option. However ! this option is not shown on my Edit drop down tab. Contact with the 'virtual assistant' was totally useless.How can I get any proper response from Photoshop??

Ich habe eine neue Version von PSE 2023 gekauft, finde aber unter dem Installationslink online nur die Version 2024. Gilt die Softeware für beide Versionen?

Mac con istallato Ventura , PS Elements 2024 Photo edit non si apre... 

I just went from PSE 14 to 2024 and one thing I noticed was that file saves are not listed in the 2024 History Panel as they were in 14.  It has been very convenient for me to see when I have made these saves.  I did both a Bing and a Google search of this and all I found was a reference to going to Preferences-General to  make some sort of selection (which I didn't understand), but there was no such option in my 2024 build.  Any thoughts about how to get file saves listed would be appreciated.

Having purchased a new Canon R7, I am now not able to upload RAW files to Elements as it states format not recognised. Is there a fix for this or is Elements now useless for my needs?
