Photoshop Elements

Ich habe gerade eben meine alte 14-er Version durch PSE 2023 ersetzt und kriege es einfach nicht hin, wie in der "alten" Version mit dem Programmstart ohne Startbildschirm-Umweg direkt den Fotoeditor zu starten. Wie kann ich mein Problem lösen? Danke für Tipps und Gruss, Hans

keep getting error code 0x8007016A when I try to move my current files to elements.  Anyone know what's up?

I've been using PSE for many, many, years and versions. However, with the upgrade to the 2020 version, I noticed a file called logs.txt on my desktop.  It has entries like this:Face: 1Left: 0.470029Right: 0.565006Top: 0.241267Bottom: 0.399563Face: 2Left: 0.290384Right: 0.407661Top: 0.193147Bottom: 0.38861Face: 3Left: 0.578529Right: 0.699157Top: 0.263228Bottom: 0.464274If I delete the file, it will be re-created.  The file seems to be created (or appended) when I import new files into Organizer and/or I do face detection. I probably would never have noticed this file if it hadn't appeared on my desktop.  I'm unsure if this behavior is normal, or if there's a way to turn it off, or to at least have it another location. Any information would be helpful.-Brian J

Hello, Currently running version 14 on a PC running WIN7. Whenever I try to do a task from the commands on the left side of the screen such as enhance, draw or evn the hand/grab tool, it can take up to two minutes for my PC to become aware of what it is I am trying to do. If I try to crop a photo and want to resize the crop say from the corner, I click on the corner to shrink it but unless I keep my finger on the mouse button for about two minutes, it will move the crop to where ever I last released the mouse button. Why is this happening and can it be fixed? Opening photo files and performing any adjustments such as exposure or saturation happen fairly quickly. Please help. Thank you

I have literally spent 1.5 hours trying to get my photos to import in chronilogical order, and all they do is come in numbered in reverse order.  I was taking photos from 7/1-19/23 and the one numbered '001' is the last photo I took. I want '001' to be the first photo I took

Mijn eerste kennismaking met PSE 2023.Ik heb onlangs Engelstalige versie PSE 2023 voor de Mac aangeschaft. (iMac24 inch versie 13.5 OS is ook nog geen maand oud)- Het lukt me niet alle foto's (in een keer) te importeren vanaf de externe SDD HD.- Het lijkt aanvankelijk of het programma de foto's wil binnenhalen. maar gewenste resultaat blijft uit.- Ontzettend frustrerend!- In eerste instantie de hele HD aangewezen, maar dat lukte niet. (appr 600 GB) - Vervolgens alle mappen aangewezen, ook dat lukte niet, alleen jaren 1970-1979 werden geimporteerd.- Vervolgens werkwijze aangepast en per 5 jaar mappen aangewezen. Geen resultaat.- Vervolgens als ik foto's per jaar aanwijs, lukt het aanvankelijk gedeeltelijk om bestanden te importeren en correct weer te geven in de mappenstructuur. - Maar dan stokt het proces weer. Ook deze werkwijze is geen succes.- Nu verder foto's per maand importeren tot het jaar 2022.- Na vele moedeloze pogingen weet ik het niet meer.&nbs

I keep getting message saying thatr the programme may be damaged. I have unistalled it and reinstall. but keep getting the same message.can any one help.

When I place photographs on the map, in Elements 2023 Organiser the name selected by Organiser is randomly selected to be place often a long way away.  It is not possible to edit the name as altering it changes the name of the existing places which are genuinely in that place. Often the same name is given to anywhere within a one hundred square mile area, a comparatively large area in the UK!I have read and reread all of the help from Adobe.  I have spent time on many chats with support.  I bought 2018 so that I could put my photos on the map. this facility did not work. I left updating until now hoping that it would be resolved, but no it has not.  It worries me that if I pay for Elements 2023 maps will stop working altogether, as it did with 2018, when it is out of warranty. I have been advised to pay £120 per year for Photoshop, but no one seems to know whether Place works when you use Lightroom for the UK. Elements 9 was bundled with my PC when I bought it, I don't have a CD or anything but I do want to reinstall it. I had to reinstall Win10 and it wiped Elements 9, even though it said it wouldn't.Can anyone point me in the right direction? If a licence is installed and might be still present I would apprectate advice on how to recover it? It was installed with another adobe product, but it is Elements 9 that I want to reinstall. 

Hi all,Yesterday I bought the Photoshop elements 2023 and Premiere Elements 2023 but I can't install both of them.While I am running the program for installation, is poping up a window with "Sign in error".Also are not visible in the creative cloud.I have trying all possibilities given but still nothings.I am running new laptop with windows 11 and all futures are available for these softwares.Any solution?Thank you in advance.KRDimitrios

Just moved from Elements 10 to 2023. Need to use the line tool. Help tells me I will find it under the Custom Tool. This tool is not in my toolbar. I'm in Expert Mode. Where is the Custom Tool?

I cannot do anything with all my pictures I have as they show up as little blue icons for psd, zips or png files. How can I change them to shwo the photos, it's been going on for weeks. I somehow go tthem to work, then next day it's arong again, I cannot take this much longer, ready to delete thousands of photos. Someone please help me, I'm 68 and can't fix issues, I need this done ASAP Tahnks I use windows 11, edge.

I've used Photoshop 15 for years now. Recently when adding a frame to a photo, I chose the color red, but the frame only comes out black?

Every other day since I bought it, this has worked perfectly. Today it won't load. I'm on an intel 27" iMac running Big Sur - but that is irrelevant since it has always worked! Why today? I need it for my work. It's still wroking perfectly on my M1 Macbook Air, but I need the big screen. I've restarted the computer twice, redownloaded and reinstalled, nothing works. It circles endlessly at this screen (screenshot). Can anyone help please?

I've set "Create Subfolder(s) using" "shot Date (yyyy mmm dd)" in Organizer Preferences (Camera or Card Reader). When APD launcches, that option is not listed in the drop-down list; only 'yyyy mm dd'.  This was working fine in Elements 2022.

Using PSE 2019, on the Keyword/Info Panel (right side panel), one can expand all Keyword Tags (Categories, Sub-Categories, and Keywords) at the same time.  Everything is visible in one long list. I would like for the Information to behave in the same way.  However, for me, when I expand the General, the Metadata collapses, etc.)  I don't believe this was always the case, and possibly I have changed an option somewhere.   Is there a way to expand General Info, Metadata Info, and History at the same time? Thanks.BruceK 

Elements 2020 will not install on my new computer. The installer reads 1%, 2%, and jumps to 100% in about 4 seconds total. It says it's installed, but it's nowhere to be found. I logged out of elements 2020 on my old computer, but it still doesn't work. I'm installing from the download link on my Adobe account page. Any suggestions short of a .32 at point-blank range will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, I am running Photoshop Elements 2020 on  desktop Windows PC having built-in memory of 16GB & free memory of 7GB, The catalog is stored on the desktop PC Drive D  & its size is 793MB. The catalog cache size is 307 MB.  The D Drive has 135MB free space. All media files are stored on an external drive.Every time I start the Full backup & during the process of identifying the files, the error message aopears to the effect that the System does not have anough space. Is 135MB of free space on Drive D  not adequate? Does backup process need free space equivalent to Catalog Cache size? I am unable to delete any files on Drive D to create more space!I have been trying to find a solution quite desperately, but to no avail. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions in this regard. Thanks in advance.

Dear All, I noticed that PSE 2023 organizer is struggling to display photospheres created on my pixel 6 phone.  Does anyone know if there is a way to make these display correctly?

I want to transfer my photos to an external hard drive because my scratch disk is full,. But something funny has been going on with my photos for awhile. Even when I import them once, they are imported again and again. I usually don't erase them from my memory card until I make my final edits.  I'm using a MacBook Pro, Monterey OS and Photoshop Elements  2020. Maybe it will help to look at the screenshot I have attached that lists my folders. Some of folders have no images in them.  Will this "funny stuff" with the folders affect my transferring images (25 GB) to a hard drive and then later trying to import certain folders to work with them?  

Hi, I am new to the latest version of elements. I have been extremely impressed with the facial recognition feature. However, I have incorrectly approved wrong names that have been suggested in a few cases. Can you please tell me how this can be amended these. Struggled to find a way. Running on a window 11 PC. I have been using the Elements 2023 Organizer for a few weeks. I have never been able to complete a backup. I am trying to make a full backup to a new external drive. After completing all of the steps to start a backup, the I receive a "Please wait…" message.  Nothing else occurs. I have waited as long as three hours. If This version is unable to backup, perhaps I need to bite the bullet and use something else. 

My Elements 14 has stopped working.  It keeps saying not enough memory RAM. I have reloaded both Elements14 and Windows10 but it still wont work?
