Photoshop Elements

in my PC setup i have all sofware & system files in C: and i have all my photos in E:I'm about to set up Elements Organiser Catalogues and asking which drive should they be set up inI'm thinking E: but does Elements decide anywayCheersKen M

Hi EveryoneI've just had to have a new motherboard (which includes the solid state SSD in my Dell PC.  I backed up all the files and selected replace in original locations when I restored them.  I've just downloaded my Elements 24 and have tried to reinstate the catalogue.  Actions were......FileRestore CatalogueHard disc (with bacup on plugged into a usb)Locate backup File...........  G:\PE backup 2 7 24 \Backup.tlyRestore to......... ticked "restore original folder structure"and there it stops. Nothing happens, the Restore icon remains greyed out and the only option available is cancel.  Can anyone help please?Thank you

i recently installed photoshop elements 2025 upgrade from 2021. installed ok, but when i opened it, there is no layer panel and all the menus are greyed out.. what is going on?  using windows 11 

As I have some troubles with my Photoshop Elements 2021 after I updated to a new MacBook Air M1 and running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2, i wonder if the problems is that it simply not can run on that operation system?Any one knows? 

I'm using PSE 15.  I just purchased a new Canon EOS 90D.  Apparently this camera uses Adobe Camera RAW 3 files, and PSE 15 won't recognize or import these files.  Is upgrading to PSE 2025 the answer?  Thanks

In a fb page about photoshop elements a user posted the image below.  What's interesting is that I completed a simliar survey, which was obviously from Adobe.A big clue that this is a scam is the part about "created by yahoo mail"-  I highly doubt Adobe would use that. SO WADDA THINK, A SCAM?   . 

The icon and menu text (2mm) is so small I can't see them. I use Photoshop elements 2022 on a 14" PC with a resolution 2240 x 1400, Windows 11.I tried to enlarge them Edit/Preferences/Display & Cursors, UI Scale factor to 200% but then they are too big and I can't see all the icons. It is impossible to scroll down to see them.  My earlier version of photoshop was ok on a 13.3” PC. Now it is impossible to use photoshop. Is there a way to set them to ex. 150% (like in older versions) or another way to do this? I can see on the photoshop community that there is many users that have the same problem.

Havent opened premier elements, photoshop and organizer for at least a year. 2022 version 20.0I wanted to make a present for my daughters birthday by importing over 100 pictures of her into video timeline and doing stuff with it. Using people tab in organizer I was able to bring up all the photos I wanted. However I coldnt figure out how to add them to a timeline. When using timeline and clicking add medai and then clicking organizer it shows a condensed version where the tabs are missing i.e. people tab. Looking at manual online is pretty much hopeless, using AI had suggestions but it didnt work, A remote assistance from Adobe support said it couldnt be done (for real) which I absolutely dont beilieve and Im guessing its an easy fix. As I kept on experimenting I not only couldnt figure it out but 2 new problems developed where organizer keeps freezing and the pictures that I wanted to create something with completely disappeared from organizer under the people tab??? I have 3 question

Is there a way to make "Save for Web" NOT replace spaces in the filename iwht dashes?  That is infuriating as the save for web interface is much easier to work with than doing a Save As for other filetypes, but I hate having to rename everything it creates wrong because it doesnt like a space or character and rplaces it with a dash. Im on version Photoshop Elements 2020, but I suspect solutions for any recent version is probably similar.Thanks!

When I try to save the file as a web file, the preview is not ligned up on the view screen.  You can't see the entire file.  It hasn't happened before and I cannot find anything on the help menu.  Has this happened to anyone?Using PSE 2025

Unlike the earlier versions of PSE that I have been using (11 and 14), I find that when I increase canvas size with  Image | Resize, PSE 2025 generates a new layer which I then have to flatten if I only want one layer (to save as JPEG, say).  It's running on Windows 11.I would like to prevent that auto-creation of a layer; is there a setting for this?

In Elements 2020 the Depth of Field Simple tool in Guided mode does not seem to work as advertised.  Click Simple, Click Add Blur.  Ok.  Now the problem.  When I Add Focus Area and click and drag, the result is the opposite of what I would expect.  The blurry area is where my point and click began, in the middle of my subject.  I have watched tutorials and seen how you can repeatedly click and drag away From the middle of a subject you wish to keep in focus.  Don't know what I could possibly be doing wrong but this does just not work for me.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

How do I stop Elements creating a folder called Adobe in my Documents folder? Why doesn't Adobe make it easy to find the answer? I've been going round the forums and replies and still can't find anywhere that tells me how to stop Adobe invading my privacy

I backed up Photoshop Elements 21 (?) images and catalog to local NAS from a desktop windows 10 computer. Installed Photoshop Elements 21 (?) then copied the backup.tly to a laptop windows 10 and restored to the laptop. All worked great, copying all the images and folders to the laptop and preserving all my albums. Until going mobile, then all the photos show as disconnected. Apparently, despite the fact that the restore copied all the files to the laptop, it is still loading the images from the NAS (confirmed by looking at the properties within PSE). How do I get the catalog to connect to the local images? I have used earlier versions of photoshop elements. Everything on the laptop indicates it is photoshop elements 21 but querying the program indicates is is 19.0.0.0. Core and language version 19.0 (20210807.m.158016) Is this 21 or 19? 

My Adobe Photoshop Elements 2025 keeps freezing when I use the paint brush feature on a PC.

I can move the image around in A4 but when I reduce to A5 to make a greeting card, I cannot move the image and blue box up the page

How can I add Pixelmator Pro as an additional editor in Elements Organizer? I only see one option - Show Photoshop Elements Editor options only - and cannot disable it.

I have been running PE 15 on my Windows 10 PC since 2017. I was not able to upgrade to Winddows 11 on that PC so I got a new Windows 11 PC. I am now installing PE 15 on this new machine. During the installation I got a message that "PX Engine can't run on this device". The installation then completed satisfactorily. I have read that PX Engine is related to burning DVDs. If I will not be burning any DVDs on my Windows 11 PC, is it OK to continue to use PE15?

I'm using PSE 2022. When I upload to PSE, I save my files in date structure to an external network drive. I then go in and create albums. I've created albums in the Organizer and order prints from these albums through Mpix (a photo lab). I use Windows 11 and have Mpix snapped on one side of my screen and PSE snapped on the other (see attached). Mpix has a photo drop and drag upload option and it would be nice to be able to drag the photo images (which are attached to actual files) from the album in the Organizer, however, I'm not able to get this to work unless I click on the image (one at a time), then click on it's location (which opens File Explorer) and drag it over (through a drag and drop app) over to the Mpix upload. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can do this? It would really help my workflow. Just to note, I am able to drag and drop from File Explorer, so it's not a Window drag/drop issue.

Beim Starten der Anwendung werde ich aufgefordert, mein Produkt innerhalb 7 Tagen mit meiner Adobe ID zu registrieren. Mithilfe des angezeigten Links logge ich mich mit Mailadresse und Passwort ein, dann erscheint im Browser die Meldung "You're signed in. You can now close this window and get back to where you left off." Und dann kann ich wieder von vorne anfangen, eine Endlosschleife.... Kann mir jemand helfen.Ich installiere das von DVD mit Produktcode. Danke im Voraus, Hans

Hello community, I'm needing some help. Years ago I had two dedicated hard drives for my photos. One of them crashed leaving the photos it held gone forever.  I have since upgraded my backup work flow.  I recently found an old shoe box that had a backup of my catalogs over the years and I believe some of my lost images will be found on these burned DVD's. Problem is, I don't know what to do to get them back. I use APE 2022. Do I go to "Restore Cataglog"? I don't want to loose what I currently have as it's been years of new photos being added to my catalog since the loss of that drive. I haven't found a good solution in the community discussions and hoping someone can help talk me through this.

Keine Probleme.Wenn ich die Software aber mit derselben Nummer aktivieren möchte, erhalte ich immer die Meldung: die "Sereinnummer ist ungültig"!Ich habe die Software auch wiederholt neu installiert, mich über die Software in meinen Account eingeloggt - mit der gleichen Adobe-ID. Alle klappt.Nur nicht die Aktivierung!Was kann ich tun? Thomas
