Photoshop Elements

Hi. I am having issues executing a Find by Details (Metadata) search with two metadata conditions using AND. I have photos in a folder named “My Wedding” that were taken using two different camera models (“iPhone 13” and “iPhone 16”). I am trying to use Find by Details to display only the photos taken by the iPhone 13 in that folder. Pretty simple, but it doesn’t work for me. If I execute    Find by Details where “Camera Model CONTAINS 13” I get a bunch of photos as the result, and these are the photos taken with the iPhone 13. This is a correct result If I execute    Find by Details where “Folder Name IS My Wedding”I get the contents of that folder as the result. This is correct. Many photos are in the intersection of these two Find by Details results - i.e., many photos were taken with the iPhone 13 AND are in the “My Wedding” folder. However, when I try to use an AND search, I run into problems. I recently bought Canon EOS R6 Mark II camera. When I tried to use Element 2023 to open the raw file, it asked me to install plug-in for the raw file. I did it. But it still asked me to do so. I did it several times and got the same results. I had Canon EOS R camera. I had no problem to use the same Element 2023 to open the raw file from that camera. Both raw files are CR3 raw files. Are there diferences between the raw files from the two cameras?

I have made a signature brush but anytime I try to use the Guided to change background, brush lost! When I go back to editing, the brush is no where to be found. Is there a way to save it so it will work after changing the background? 

I gave my friend money to  porchese Photoshop Elements 2025 to me  he porchese its through his ID !!Then he forwarded the key to me to activate it.I download the Photoshop Elements 2025  and when I entered the redemtion code at Adobe page a messege appears : The code is from a country or region that does not match your Adobe ID.How to resolve this issue and activate my software ?! 

I bought PSE2022. But lost everything to some glitch and had to put win 11 back in and had to reinstall everything. I have a licence code but the damn Adobe software wont let me in to put licence back.  I am now stuck!

My husband has asked for Photoshop Elements 2023 for his Christmas present.  I have found where it can be downloaded, but what I need is to buy it on CD to be able to give it to him as his present.  I cannot wrap up a code!  Is there any way in which I can buy this software on a proper CD, ideally also with a manual?  Or will it work if I download it and burn it to CD myself - will it then run happily on his machine?  He uses Windows 10, but I am using Windows 7.  I would be very grateful for information and advice!

Transfered Photoshop Elements 2020 to a new Imac last week and it has been operating perfectly.   When I open it today I get an error message.     Configation Error 11,   Ununstall and reimstall the app.Any ideas why this message suddenly appears ?

I can go to web elements and then upload photos from my desktop but I would like to upload directly from Elements 24 Orgnanizer. If I cannot do that then i would like to be able to select photos in windows explorer that correspond to photos selected in Organizer. Can anyone help with this. Just want a workflow that gets me from selected photos or an album in organiser to sharing on the web.

I have new computer Windows 11, New Nikon Z 500 2, and used RAW and jpeg on camera but Organizer only shows Jpeg.  So, I would like to get RAW onto my 2025 PSE for Organizer and Editing.  I am sure this is a frequesnt question, but do not normally require RAW, but I will this weeknd.  Thanks.  

I am using a trial version of Elements 2022.  If I buy and download Elements 2022, will the images from the trial version automatically transfer to the purchsed version? Thanks

If you make a full catalog backup in PSE 2025 to an external hard drive (call it A), then three weeks later you make another full catalog backup (call it B), how, if at all, does PSE differentiate backup A from backup B in the file structure on the hardrive?Thanks.

I'd welcome any advice on the easiest way to summarize the number of (objects) photos/videos tagged with each attributed person in my catalog (PSE 2024)

PSE 2025 is available in native binaries for Apple Silicon through the Mac Store (see https://apps.apple.com/us/app/adobe-photoshop-elements-2025/id6714463383?mt=12) and can be run on Mac OS without requiring the Rosetta translation layer. However, I have bought the 3-year subscription to PSE 2025. When I download this version on  the Mac, it gives me the intel .dmg which then prompts for Rosetta. Given that I am a paid subscriber of PSE 2025, why can't I access the apple version  for download through my account?

The Photo Editor will not open on my Premier Elements 2018. I have used this software on this laptop but suddenly, it won't open. The error message states that I have exceeded the allowed number of devices. However, the Video Editor still opens as usual. I verified the serial number at Adobe and then re-downloaded and installed the software. Then got a message that the serial number that I just verified, is not a valid serial number. I have the Photography package from Adobe which is a subscribtion, but I own the PE 2018.

Hi! I am about to perform a complete PC rebuild  on one of my two PCs  by installing a bigger system SSD (rebuild from scratch, not simple disk cloning), a task that I consider necessary but very much fear to fail.  So, I'm kindly asking that some expert from the community adience confirms/corrects/modifies/completes my understanding of ensuring smooth continuity of my Adobe Elements applications. Before rebiuld:- complete backups of all catalogues (catalog structures backup seem to me sufficient, all media is on extra disk storage), save backups to an extra disk storage- sign-out Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements After rebuild:- download & reinstal Adobe Elements 2021- sign-in Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements- restore all catalogs (structure) from backup files, while all media is available on the extra disk storage mapped exactly as at the time of backuping All warnings, reminders, tricks.... are more that welcome. K

Hi,I can no longer do an incremental backup in PE 2020. When I try I get that screen:I should NOT have to specify a previous backup file. Can someone help? Thanks in advance

I'm working in Photoshop 2021 Elements and have a problem since updating.  The text box is not working.  When I insert the text box over any photo, the cursor is not in the box but in the corner box (or center or right if I change location) that's the box outline.  You can type, but it doesn't show because it's too small.  For the life of me I cannot understand why the cursor isn't coming up in the text box like it used to before updating.  Is it a BUG?  I've reset the multiple times, gone in and out, tried it on other photos, to no avail. Any idea/

Soooo frustrated! I purchased PSE in 2009. Used to use it regularly but don't use it very often anymore. I went in tonight to use it and couldn't log in. After speaking with support I was informed that it's not longer available and that I can buy it again for a "special price"  - they transferred me to sales who gave me the regular price. When friends e mail photos, I've always been able to save them in my PICTURES folder on my PC and the next time I would open Photoshop elements, those photos would appear on a screen and I could choose to add them to the Organizer or not. But somehow that process has stopped. Photoshop is no longer searching that folder. How do I fix this? 

I am attaching a file that was free and trying to change the text to have different words.  The forum doesn't allow me to attach a psd file, so I am attaching a jpg file and a second file that shows the layers in the psd file.  I can see all the layers but I haven't been successful in actually being able to type different text on the text layer.  Can anyone explain to me what I should be doing?  Thank you so much.

Hallo, ich hatte Photoshop Elements 9 auf meinem alten Rechner installiert und ein paar Jahre später ein Update zu Photoshop Elements 14 gekauft und installiert. Für beide Versionen besitze ich die Lizenz. Ich habe mir nun einen neuen Rechner gekauft und wollte dort wieder Photoshop Elements 14 installieren. Dazu habe ich mich bei Photoshop Elements 14 (wie beschrieben) auf dem alten Rechner abgemeldet.Danach konnte ich Photoshop Elements 9 auf meinem neuen Rechner installieren. Wenn ich die Lizenz von Photoshop Elements 14 eingebe, erhalten ich die Antwort: "Diese Seriennummer wird bereits verwendet". Im Forum habe ich gefunden, dass es hilft, das Programm komplett vom alten Rechner zu deinstallieren. Es ändert sich aber nichts. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich erreiche, dass das Programm wieder intalliert werden kann. Danke für Tipps.
