Photoshop Elements

Hallo, ich benutze Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026. Dabei tritt folgendes Problem auf: ich kopiere Bilder vom Handy in meine Ordner „Eigene Bilder“ auf mein Surface mit Windows 11. Soweit alles gut. Öffne ich dann den Organizer werden die Bilder auch importiert, allerdings werden einige Bilder nur als grauer Hintergrund dargestellt, andere vollständig. Öffne ich dann den Editor werden die grauen Bilder richtig dargestellt.  Was ist die Ursache? 

I purchased Elements 2024 on 25/11/2023 from Microsoft.  So the product is not registered on the Adobe website.  Looking back at my order in 2023, I can click on my order which takes me to a screen where it says “This product is unavailable in your market”   go to “View in store”.  The product is not available in the microsoft store either.  I canot find any way to contact Microsoft about this...any ideas? I need the product installation files again as I appear to have some sort of corruption   i.e. when I open organiser, none of the tabs at the top left of screen respond .   I have read that this may be due to a corrupt catalog.   If I open Organiser which shift key pressed I get the manage catalogs screen.   I think there should be a “repair” tick box….but there isn’t one.   I have tried Optomise but it doesnt solve the problem. Any ideas/help gratefully received  (even if it means purchasing Elements 2024 again!) Thanks  Tony

I have downloaded and installed camera RAW for Windows 11 (v18.2.2) with no success. Previous PSE software worked fine on Windows 10 with a Nikon camera. Any help please? North Face Ben Nevis 

Struggling to batch process multiple files. In a folder I have original sized photo files and also a sub folder named small, where I want to create and  send some files at 1200 pixels. Constrain proportions and high .jpg are selected, but I keep getting a message to output extension needs to be seclected.  

I have no idea which date and time the Organizer uses. Sometimes it’s the file’s creation date, sometimes the modification date, sometimes anything else, maybe taken from the catalog. None of those dates has any relevance for a photo or video apart from the file’s modification date which in some special cases should be selectable for sorting (what was the last thing I worked on?).My concern is the creation date. For a photo or video clearly the only relevant date is the date and time when the object was shot by the camera. This is contained within the files as EXIF metadata in various forms. The file’s creation date has nothing to do with that since it is continuously changed by intermediate applications (Up/Downloads, Share, Clouds, WhatsApp, Email, etc.) for transport and storage of the objects.  The EXIF creation date (date/time of exposure) should be the only date and time used by Organizer for Sorting (and - see above - for special cases the modification date).

Hello, PSE 2026 AI-generation of images fails and ends to an error ”Something went wrong. Please try again later.”  It starts to work and progress bar starts to fill few millimeters, but then it disappears and error pops up. I have 35/35 credits available and even simple prompt like “car driving on street” fails. Am I missing something? Thanks

Hello all.my topic is to import JPG + RAW as version set ("Stapel") in Photoshop Elements (PSE) Organizer 2024 under Windows 11.Menu: PSE Organizer / Import / From Camera or Card reader / Option: Automatic version set of JPG and RAWSince version 2024 PSE then shows RAW (or NEF) and hides JPG. In former versions of PSE JPG was shown and RAW was in the background. This is what I need.How to show JPG automatically in version sets ("Stapel") in PSE 2024 / 2025 and future versions ?I have to import about 2.000 photos and need an automatic workflow as in former versions of PSE. Can you provide an option in PSE Organizer to select JPG or RAW on top of version sets for all photos ? Thank you for any advice and hints.Volker

For many years I have been syncing my iPhones with Photoshop Elements Albums. Having now some 100 Albums with a total of 37,000 images neatly organized so I can locate any of these images in no time. But since Photoshop Elements 2022 this scheme doesn't work anymore. In iTunes the list of PSE Albums is empty and nothing can be synced.Researching the problem I found the culprit. iTunes (latest version 12.12.4) does not look for the Album datafile of PSE 2022, but is still locked onto the datafile of PSE 2021.This is obviously an Apple issue, but for Apple to update their iTunes it is necessary to get an idea how many users do depend on an update of iTunes to be able to update their photos on their iPhone with Photoshop Elements.If enough users reply to this request, I can raise an issue at Adobe and Apple to bring out an update for iTunes that will enable us to upload photos into our iPhones using PSE Albums! This is the way it should look (using PSE 2021, version 19):And this

I saved an image to my pictures folder or file. Then, I resized it in Edit/Resize.  When I try to print, it is in landscape mode, and cuts off the top.  (1) could I put it into Portrait mode in the printer?  (2) It’s already in Portrait mode in the saved image.  (3) How do I get to print the whole image?  I use Windows, and I have Photoshop Elements 2025.  Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

I have an image in a file in PhotoShop Elements. When I bring the image up to print it, it shows the file name above the picture.  I don’t know how to get rid of this. Any suggestions, please?

I installed Premiere Elements 2022 along with Adobe Elements Organizer 2022 on a German Windows system.During installation, I selected “English” as the language.When I launch the Organizer from the Start Menu in Windows, it runs in English. Everything is fine.But when I use the importer in autorun, which opens when importing an SD card, everything there is in German.How can I change this?I know it’s possible, because before I reinstalled my system, this exact 2022 Organizer ran in English even during the import process. 

I’m having increasing troubles using the lasso tool.  At first, I could use the lasso tool, then copy/paste over a spot I wanted to cover up. It worked except I had to do Paste 7-8 times to cover up the bad spot. Now, I can’t even lasso and do “copy” because it says I don’t have any pixels selected. I have restarted my computer, and that doesn’t help.  What does that mean? How do I have pixels selected when I lasso/cc?  Why did it used to work and now it doesn’t?

Using Elements 2020 and ran into an issue tonight that is very similar to another post (link below), but I don’t see a resolution for that.  After importing images, if I drag the thumbnail to another folder within the application, it disappears and is not visible in the folder.  If I search for the filename, the thumbnail appears and the file info shows that it was moved on the hard drive, but it won’t appear it the folder.  If I take the files in the file explorer folder and drag them into Organizer, the program runs through them all and tells me that they are all already cataloged.  I have tried rebuilding the catalog and also forced a thumbnail rebuild by renaming thumb.5.cache.  That didn’t work.  When testing, I renamed the folder on the hard drive and then drag it back into Organizer - all the thumbnails imported.  Then I renamed the folder within Organizer.  It renamed the folder on the hard drive and all the thumbnails disappeared from the folder - all the except the ones that

I'm pulling my hair out with Mac Elements Organizer 2026! The Organizer window has a MAJOR difference from LR, and that is that I can't select the PARENT FOLDER, and see the contents of ALL NESTED SUBFOLDERS containted within. This makes viewing and organizing a complete PITA, as I can't just veiw my ENTIRE catalog of images, then make selections over that entire group of images. I'm also missing the file count for each Folder. Hope someone can help! In the attached photo, I've selected Food and Cooking, and the Media window is blank rather than showing me the contents of all the nested folders; ie. bbqhq, coffee, etc.

Hello,I have licenses for Photoshop Elements 2019 and Premiere Elements 2019 and want to move the programs from an old Win 10 computer to a new one with Win 11. I can download the installation files from my account, but then I can't install the programs, all I see is a blank window with the Elements logo and the title "Adobe Photoshop Elements Installer".I have installed Creative Cloud, and downloaded the installation files there. When that didn't work, I installed a trial version of Photoshop Elements 2026 and tried installing 2019 after that, as others with the similar problem solved it with this method. But that didn't help either. I have installed and uninstalled Creative Cloud several times from both Chrome and Firefox. Now I have run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and removed everything and then reinstalled Creative Cloud twice, restarting the computer in between. But nothing helps. Anyone here who can help?

Glenn answered my original question, but I was not able to post my reply.  I have two other questions about using the lasso tool, then copy and paste.  (1) If I lasso part of my original photograph, and want to paste it over something I want to cover up, how do I make it work the first time I paste it? I have had to paste it 7-8 times (thereby creating layers on top of layers, I assume?) in order to completely cover up the bad spot.  (2) If I make a lasso and they copy of an area on my original photo, how many times can I paste it, say, in different places?

I want to move my catalogues and images from PSE 10 on a Windows 10 PC to PSE 2025 on a Mac Mini. I’ve succeeded in backing up a small catalogue of 650 images to a destination on the Mac over my home network, but when I try to backup a larger catalogue of 10,000 images, PSE 10 freezes when 34% of the way through estimating the size of the backup. I’ve “optimised” and “repaired” the catalogue, but it freezes at the same point every time.I’ve tried writing the tags to the image files and then breaking the catalogue into several smaller ones, but PSE 10 fails to transfer a large percentage of the tags to the new catalogue.I wondered whether I have to install the PSE 2026 free trial to upgrade the PSE 10 on my PC first. I disconnected my PC from the outside world a year ago, so I downloaded the Windows file to my Mac and then moved it to the PC. Unfortunately, the file needs access to the Internet to download the program, and I don’t remember what I did to disconnect it.How can I get PSE 1

Upgrading from PE Organizer 21.0 to 25.0 on Windows 11: Should the “My Catalog” be referencing the same “Catalog”?With my upgrade PEO 21 references “My Catalog 1 1”and PEO 25 references “My Catalog 1 1 1”.Attached are copies of both versions of “System info…”, My Catalog Properties” ,screen shots of “My Folders” file structure and Windows Version.Also, the number of “Items” (Files) “Size of disk” are different.Finally, why does the “System info…” reference Windows 10 when it is running on Windows 11Pro?Thank you as always!

I have a photo that I’m trying to edit. I lasso part that I want to copy/past over something I don’t want. When I first tried this it sorta worked, but I had to paste it over the undesired place about 7-8 times, each time.  Now I can’t do it at all. I can lasso, but it says I can’t copy it because no pixels are selected.  I don’t know how to select pixels in my lassoed section.  😗

I just want to cancel a subscription to a plugin.  Jigsaw Puzzle Creator - Pro.  The plugin is horrible but I don’t see a place to cancel the $1.99 per month I’m being charged.  Help 

I just upgraded on my MacBook from Adobe Elements 2020 to Adobe Elements 2026 (due to Tahoe incompatibility.)  When I edit a photo, I choose to save in version set with original.  However, I am not able to view the individual items in my version set.  I used to be able to do this in Organizer 2020; in fact, all my old version sets from 2020 still work in 2026 just like always.  But anything new will not display the individual or original files.   To be clear, I am choosing:  Edit > Version set > Expand Items in Version set.   This does not work on anything new.   The pictures due show the version set watermark in the top right.   I have no way to go back and see the original unless I split the version set into individual files.

I am using Photoshop Elements 2022 I've been importing my images from my Samsung S25 for a year now (since I bought it). I am using the PSE function: Import > From Camera or Card Reader. While organizing my images, I recently discovered that PSE is also importing the thumbnails. This makes it look like I have duplicates but one has a normal 5-6 Megapixel resolution the other the resolution of the thumbnail on the phone and the file name does not match.On the phone, they are located in another folder under: Internal Storage.The images: This PC > Internal Storage > DCIM > Camera The thumbnails: This PC > Internal Storage > Pictures > .thumbnails.The .thumbnails folder is marked as Hidden, but still PSE grabs the thumbnails.I guess I'll have to use the 'Files or Folder' option and navigate the the DCIM > Camera folder. Is there another way to avoid downloading the thumbnails?

photoshop elements 2022: when i try to use the editor the next error: monitor profile "............." is corrupt. start software to calibrate again. when i do so nothing change. it looks like photoshop is using the wrong .icm file (a very old one) . windows is using the new profile.

The problem continues.If using the “Face Tagging” feature. Auto Curate and Smart Tags fail continually. The Repair or Optimize of the Catalog does nothing. I have exempted all “Adobe” folders from Windows Security to now eval.If I don’t use the Face Tagging, Auto Curate and Smart Tags works fine.  If I install on a Windows 10 computer, all works fine.Ready to pull my hair out.    

Using Elements 2026.  I would like to take just the face shown in photo 1 and use it to replace the face in Photo 2.  I’m pretty good at selecting and enhancing, but I’ve never swapped things between two photos.Photo 1Photo 2
