Photoshop Elements

When I try to open Photoshop Elements 2023 (Mac version) a box appears with a message stating "Photoshop Elements 2023 wants to make changes.  Enter your password to allow this."  I enter my password and nothing happens.This problem suddenly appeared.  I have been using PS Elements 2023 for four previous months without a problem.I have tried to Uninstall.  I enter my password for permission, but nothing happens.

Puis un jour, Adobe m'a retiré cette licence !!!Bien entendu, ancienne boite ou CD jetés, donc pas le choix, faut payer une nouvelle licence.Je paie, je télécharge.Bien sûr, pas comptatible avec mon vieux Mac ! Pas grave, je'ai un jeune MacBook, ça marche.Et puis tellement pratique de faire du Photoshop sur un petit écran !! 😞 Bref, sur cette nouvelle version, dès que je veux écrire, ça devient n'importe quoi.Impossible d'écrire par exemple " 123 avenue Victor Hugo". Systématiquement, ça devient "Avenue Victor Hugo 123" !!!!!!J'ai chagé les paramètres de pays, etc, RIEN N'Y FAIT !!! HELP !!!!Merci de m'avoir lu !

Does anyone know of a relatively simple way of creating a sepia version of any photo in Photoshop Elements 2024?

Hello, I am rather new to Photoshop and am working on creating my first Action. The desired outcome would be:Open an Image (we'll say a silhoutte of a dog)Add another image to the document (we'll say a glitter pattern)Add a clipping mask to the glitter pattern to mask it onto the dogSave the finished project as a PNG I've followed a few tutorials and when I follow the steps to create the Action, the clipping mask and saving the file work just fine. However, when I run the Action on several images (via Automate>Batch) , I run into a few errors. One, it repeatedly opens the original design that I used to record the action (IE the dog) and resaves it each time PS opens a new image from the designated Batch folder. Two, It does not add the clipping mask to the new designs that are in the Batch folder; it only resaves them as they already are (so just a silhoutte, no glitter clipping mask). And finally, it saves the design as a PS file, not as a PNG even though I added that to the A

Ich möchte im Organizer andere Dateitypen - am liebsten alle - als nur Fotos und Videos sehen. Insbesondere die Premiere Elements .PREL Projektdateien. Und natürlich auch PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.Ist das möglich?

New WIN 11 laptop and I purchased Photo Shop Elements 2024. When I try to open it I receive a licensing error 213:10

Hallo,in Photoshop Elelements Organizer 2024 ensteht bei nachträglicher Änderung des Bildformats (z.B. von 3:2 auf  16:9 oder umgekehrt) ein Versatz bei der Anzeige der erkannten Person. Auch wenn vorher das Bildformat geändert wurde, passiert bei der Funktion "Person manuell hinzufügen" das gleiche.Ist das Problem bekannt oder gibt es eine Abhilfe? 

Hola a tod@sEn Photoshop Eldements2024 no puedo abrir archivos en formato RW2 procedentes de una Lumix S5MK2X cuando intento hacerlo en grupo/lote.  No tengo ningún problema si los abro de uno en uno, con la molestia que eso supone. Tambien puedo abrir en lote archivos raw procedentes de otra cámara o en formato jpg.Cuando intento abrirlos en lote, se boquea la aplicación y debo cerrarla con el Administrador de Tareas. La única solución que he encontrado es proceder a instalar de nuevo Camera Raw antes de intentar abrirlos, detectando la aplicación que ya existe una versión de esa extensión y acabando muy rápido la instalación.Alguien sabe a que puede ser debido?.  Muchas gracias. 

I am trying to restore my catalog from the auto backup.  I browse for where the auto backup is, at C:/ProgramData/Adobe/.../, then find the backup catalog, which is named with a string of alphanumeric characters.  When I click on that name in the Adobe restore dialog box, nothing happens.  The backup file location still is blank, and I am prompted to browse again.  So how do I restore that catalog?

I have followed instructions given by a chat agent yesterday to back up my current 2020 catalog and then, in the 2024 version, convert to that catalog per screen shot below. While the file I converted is correctly named, the actual convert only included photos through 2019. When I looked to see what was listed that was already converted, it was an old catalog from photoshop 11. I can't spot any way to locate the current 2020 catalog so I can convert it. Hoping someone can help. See screen shots below--again, even though the 2020 catalog name matches that in my 2020 Elements, the conversion picks up the old Elements 11 catalog. 

Photoshop Elements 2024.  I haven't used Photoshop Elements since #10 came out.  SO, I'm a bit rusty.  This is what I want to do:  I have a photograph of a granite faced mountain.  I want to put the image of someone's face onto that mountain. I have already transfered the person's face to the photo of the mountain.  Now, I need to change the color of the face to match the color/texture of the granite mountain.  I want to make it look like the person's face is carved into the mountain.I've searched the Youtube vids, but can't find anything that's specific to my task.   I have the Elements 10  "Missing Manual" book and it discusses uses the Eyedropper Tool.  Can I get more specific step-by-step instructions?  thanks!

I have a new high spec Windows 11 PC and been using PS Elements 2021 for a while on it. I installed Premiere Elements 2018 today. The two applications are not linked like they used to be on my old Windows 10 PC. From organiser in PS Elements 2021 I select a video to be edited I get this message Its like PS Elements 2021 does not recognise Premiere Elements 2018 has already been installed. Am I missing something? 

Using PS Elements 2024. When I paint in a layer mask I can choose the transparency. Typically I might select say 50% or whatever.  Now I want to use the brush tool to paint an area with multiple strokes and want to keep the maximum transparency at 50% Is there a way to do this in PS Elements? As soon as I let go of the mouse the brush will start to paint over the previously painted area.  So Unless I can do it all in one stroke I cannot succees. I want to paint in a specific area with multiple strokes to max out at a specific transparency.  Typically i might miss a part and need to use multiple strokes to fill in the holes.  Your advice would be appreciated. Kind regardsChris 

Is there a technique to make the bright sunlit striped portions of the photo blend in with the parts in shadow?  (see a.jpg)   I've tried dodge/burn, color replacement, etc., and they don't seem to apply to the white areas. Thanks much. 

Question 1) How Can I Copy Paste The White Balance Setting On The Other Photos? Question 2) Can I do It on multiple images at once? (For example 10-20 images at once) How?

I just converted my catalog from PE 2021 to 2024.  Everything seems to be working well.  Except that when I run Reconnect missing files, the program runs thru all my directories to try to reconnect some missing files.  But when I click "Browse", there are no missing files shown in the window for reconnecting.  When I run Find Missing Files, it finds none.  When I ran repair catalog, it found nothing to repair.  I said repair anyway.  But it still tries to find missing files when I run reconnect missing files.  There would be no problem if I did not run reconnect.  But this certainly extends the time to do a catalog backup, since it automatically runs reconnect missing files before moving to other steps in the backup process.  Any suggestions to make it stop?

I recently installed Photoshop Elements 2024. Now, in Organizer, after import of a file I only see some af the imported phostos!Why is this happening? What can I do to make sure the entire folder loads correctly?BR Fritz P.

My photos synchronize automatically from my smartphone to my PC. Many images however are smartphone screenshots or photos I took with the smartphone of documets that I intended to use temporarily. All these images clutter my Pictures' library and I don't seem to be able to find a way to delete them all. I did find a way to delete screenshots by searching images by specific dimensions and under a certail size, but some pictures of documents or computer monitors that were not meant to be stored I cannot locate altogether. There are a few iPhone apps that do find images that contain text, but that is too late to use if the files are transferred to my PC. I cannot find any Windows app that does that. Is there a way to use Adobe Elements Organizer to find photos that contain text or just bad pictures in general? 

While editing some, but not all jpg images in PS Elements, there are flashing lines - a distortion in the image.  It does not affect the saved jpg but is annoying while editing.  Here's a screen shot of it.  The jpg is a shot of the bar code on the back of a book and the unwanted artifact appears on the upper two thirds of the image and is flashing on and off.  Anyone know what causes this and how to end it? 

Just installed Elements 2024 two days ago an every time I start the organizer I get a crash report. It happens again during editing but it does not stop me from editing. I do not know how to interpret the data. I've pasted a copy of the report below. Can someone help fix this. Every time I get the report I send to Adobe, must be at least 20 times, but have not heard back. Is there a way to contact support directly? I had to do a reset on my Windows 11 computer and I am in the process of reinstallling all of my applications.  When I attempt to install Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2023, I get error 183 which Adobe troubleshooting states is fairly generic.  I have gone through the troubleshooting steps and still getting error 183.   I downloaded fresh .exe installs from Adobe.  I tried those and my original install files - same result.  I have rebooted my computer several times and current on all windows updates.  I even ran the DISM and SFC thinking there were system file corruption or missing.   I read something elsewhere about these products needing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable so I compared what I currently have to what I had before the windows reset and there are some missing; however, there are no clear answers I can find as to what is required.  I don't want to start installing unnecessary programs to find that it doesn't fix th

Earlier this year I upgraded to Elements 24 from Elements 22. It’s installed on MacBook Pro with an M3 Pro chip, 18 GB memory and operating on Sonoma 14.4.1.  I’m unable to mark faces on any new photos (although I can mark faces on photos that were in my library prior to upgrading).  When I attempt to mark a face, I get the pop-up “people analysis is yet to be performed on the selected media” and when I start the analysis, the “analyzing your media” pop-up appears, but immediately crashes/stops.  I’ve tried restoring the catalogue from a backup and uninstalling and reinstalling Elements, but neither has fixed the issue.

Trying to move a copy of my catalog from my old PC to my brand new  Windows 11 laptop.  About 25 gb of photos were copied onto a brand new Sandisk external hard drive.  When I try to import in PSE 24, it finds something less than 400 photos,  not the tens of thousands that were copied onto my removable drive.  Can anyone tell me what's going on?  Also, the only photos were mostly Jpegs, but it looks like they've been copied over into new formats, including Jsons.  Is that normal?  Thanks in advance for any help.

For at least 4 years, I have been importing photos from my D7200's SD card using a card reader and they went into the dated folder in the catalog on my permanent storage disk.  Recently, the import puts thumbnails of the photos in the catalog making me think I have them permanently stored.NO SUCH THING!It has stopped moving them to my hard drive and continues to reference them on the SD card/card reader.I thought they were saved.  When I cleaned my SD card, I lost the photos of my new born grandson.  The thumbnails still appeared in Organizer, but the real files were gone.I am just about to get rid of Elements/Organizer. I have tried everything I can think of without success to correct what I think is a fatal flaw.  My preferences are set up to move the imported files to my hard disk (which is regularly backed up) but I doesn't do what it says.Any help would be appreciated.Bob S.Corvallis, OR
