Photoshop Elements

I have tried to change the location where my imported photos on my iMac are stored.  I have gone to Preferences/Camera or Card Reader/Save files in/Browse.  I hve changed the location to where I put all my photos on an External HD.  Click OK.  However, the new location doesn't stick.  I have to continually change from the default "User/regmikewall/Pictures to my desired location. Why is this happening?  How can I permanently change the location. Thanks in advance for your help Michael

Hello all,This is my first post and I apologize for its length.I've been using PSE 13 since 2014. (I know I'm behind the times, but it does what I need.)A few weeks ago oddly, my Windows 10 PC crashed and coincidentally, my Seagate back up drive failed right about the same time.I logged into my Adobe account to find my product keys for PSE & PRE and downloaded both programs in the same version (13) that I owned.During installation, I was asked to sign into Adobe for verification which I did and installation proceeded. I put in my product key when asked and thought all was well when installation was complete.I tried to open PSE and got a message saying I need to sign in to Adobe AGAIN for verification or some such. After signing in again & again, I still cannot use the program, I keep getting blocked by the same sign in screen.In less that 24 hours I tried 5 times without success, I'm beside myself. I haven't yet tried PRE, frustration level is too high. 🙂 I'm very comfo

I am trying to download Photoshop Elements 2020 (since that's the one I've got a license for, it came with Premiere Elements 2020 which I've been using since I bought it), and the installer requires me to log into my account in order to continue with the download. However, when I try to do this, by clicking "Continue with Google", the Adobe ID screen that then pops up on my browser buffers indefinitely, so I can never actually log in. Is it the fact that I'm trying to download an outdated version, or is there something else going on that I can fix?

Hi there first post on here, i had previously bought photoshop elements 2021, and recently upgraded license to photoshop elements 2025, and this work fine on new computer but when i try and start the video part of it , this keeps saying start new trial. i thought this cam with the elements 2025 as i know i used this in the previous 2021 version .any help appreciated

Hi, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:12+ year old PC died containing Adobe Elements 11 app and photos.Transferred dead PC's HD into new PC extra bay (now e: drive).I cannot open Elements on new PC (I cannot find exe file or method).I want to buy the latest Elements version, BUT I want to keep all of the TAGS that I had with my previous Elements 11 version.Do I need to find a way to install my previous Elements 11 on my new PC, before updating to latest Elements version? I am thinking that the TAGS amd other info would be lost if I just install latest Elements verson and import photos from HD placed in new PC.How do I install older Elements 11 onto my new PC? It was such a long time ago.Thank you for any suggestions. 

I take raw and jpeg images.  I just upgraded from Elements 2016.  Elements 2016 keep the jpeg amd raw images the same file name , ie   photo1.jpg / photo1.cr2  but Elements 2024 names the same files photo1.jpg / photo2.cr2.  Am I missing a toggle in 2024 that I didn't have in 2016 to keep the files the same name with different extensions? Thanks. 

A user in a facebook group posted this image.  When the mouse hovers over ia little popup appears "Set vertical scale"- I honestly don't know what that means.  Why not just use the percentage?    

I have photoshop elements 2024 (download version; not the creative cloud one) installed on laptop1. Can I also install it on laptop2? (won't be using laptop1 while I'm using laptop2). From what I read, it seems like I need to deactivate it on laptop1 before installing on laptop2...but maybe that's for PSE 2025 only, and PSE 2024 allows you to use it on a 2nd laptop w/o having to deactivate it on the first one? Thanks.

I am a new user to photoshop elements.  I am trying to import some jpeg files created from scanning old slides.  The files are organized into folders.  When i use the commands to select files and folders in organizer I cannot import anything.  I select the folder in which the files are stored and then click on Open and nothing happens.  The get media button never is "lit up".  I must be doing something wrong.  I have tried to get import to work on other digital picture folders but nothing happens.  

We own Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and Lightroom 5 (all on CDs). I recently tried to install it on our new computer running Windows 11 and it crashed the whole system. Bad. I had to reimage the computer.  Is there a downloadable version that works on W11?  Or what's the update path?

Yes, you can update ACR to 16.0 in PSE 2024 if you wish.   There is no reason to do it, if you do not need it (Such as you literally just bought a brand new digital camera yesterday).   No, you do not need it "because it's the latest version."   No, you are not "missing out" if you don't get it, and manually install it.I went the manual install route just to see if it could be done. 

I have PSE2024 running on OSX12.7. However the RAW plugin is only compatible with OSX13, which I cant run. If PSE can run on OSX12, then the plugin should be compatible with that installation.

 When trying to print in photoshop 13 a message comes up that 'The saved printer info is not compatible with this version of PE 13, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing.' I have been using the same printer for a couple years and now it seems the settings aren't correct. Help!! Tried an update with no results.

I've downloaded my 1st batch of photos taken on my new R5 Mark II. When I try open them in Elements 2023, it tells me to "install the camera raw plugin from the help menu".  I've done this 3 times, I've rebooted and updated my windows 11 and I'm still not able to open the files and keep getting the same message to instll the raw plugin.   Any help would be appreciated

The Organizer 2025 do not find data from the Organizer 2024, says "No media files" but here are lots in 2024

I recently acquired a unopened version of Photoshop Elements 2020.  When I put the disk into my cd drive, it always pops up an error window stating that I have to update my browser.  Quote:  "To use Adobe services, please update your Adobe applications, operating system, and browser to the latest versions."I am running Windows 10, 64bit, version 22H2.  And Microsoft Edge and/or Chrome which are currently up to date. Anybody have any suggestions?thank you.

I just downloaded the app on my new Mac Mini and now I keep getting this error code when I try to open the photo editor?  Please do not launch this application from within this Application Package. Instead, please launch Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 How do I get it to open? 

I'm trying to install PhotoShop Elements 2022 on a new computer. Spectacular fail! I've uninstalled and reinstalled about six times now. It actually installed now but photoeditor won't run and gives me a missing MSVCP120.dll message. Is there a way to fix it? I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, installing from my account, downloading and installing, etc.

Hello everybody, in 2021 I bought a perpetual license of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022. Unfortunately I did a mistake not saving the setup package (downloaded from the Adobe website). Now I changed my PC with a new and more performat one and I would like to install on it Photoshop with my license.Unfortunately seems that Adobe doesn't allow the download of this version anymore. I tryied to browse almost all the sections of the Adobe web site without success.My license is not present in my orders and seems "disappeared". I just want to continue to use my "perpetual" license. Does anyone can help me?   

Hello, I bought and installe Photoshop Elements 2023, but it comes with Adobe Elements 2023 Organizer which I do not want, and which keeps doing annoying stuff in the background (and it also crashes all the time). Can I uninstall it keeping what I actually want, i.e. just Photoshop elements?  I am on MacOS Ventura.

Recently updated from elements 12 to elements 2024. When I do a search for "any files not in a album" the result is many photos with the location listed as C:\users\.oudMedia\???. What are these files as I cannot find them in a search of my system and how do I delete them. My normal photo files are not stored on my C:\ drive. Are these files being duplicated and using data space on my computer?

I've got PSE 2022 on a Mac Monterey 12.2I've organized my photos myself for 70 years now, and the PSE Organizer is a pain in the butt, popping up whenever I save an edited image and at other times.Has anyone tried uninstalling Organizer and continued to use PSE successfully?
