Photoshop Elements

I want to try Photoshop Elements 2025 to see if it will meet my needs before I buy it.

I created some stacks so that I could take a closer look at some of the visually similar photos and decide which ones I wanted to keep.  However, I can’t figure out how to examine the stacks as they just show the first photo (even after clicking on the first photo).All I really want to do is remove the “stacks” designation, but the help for this indicates I must go to Layers/Smart Objects/Stack Mode/ and change to None.  I located Layers in the PE Editor, but it didn’t include anything about Smart Objects.Needless to say, I am confused and don’t know what I did wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  

My Adobe Photoshop Elements has suddenly developed an issue in which any change to my preferences causes some kind of corruption that blocks me from using Quick Mode to edit files. If I delete the Preferences file, I can use Quick Mode > Color > Saturation / Hue / Vibrance to apply adjustments. As soon as I change a setting, I lose the ability to click on the adjustment selection to apply the adjustment.

When I attempt to open it, it seems to be starting but comes up to the loading bar across the opening screen, the icon within the loading bar spins for a couple of minutes and then just quits on the opening screen. This only started within the last week (June 15). I'm on Windows 11 Pro, latest upgrade as of June 9th.I uninstalled and then reinstalled this morning with no change, still same refusal to load.

I have two computers. Both have Photoshop Elements 2025 installed. If I try to print from either of the computers Elements closes.My old version of Photoshop (CS6) has no problem printing. I also have the latest version of Affinity and again I have no problem printing from it. I have tried all the fixes suggested by contributors to the Adobe and other forums without success.  My computers run Windows 11 pro. The printer is a humble Canon G650 Pixma. Can any of you bright people suggest a solution? Thank you.John 

I have been trying for weeks and each time I get an error I follow the instructions of AI eg REpair and Optimize Catalog, thumb.5.cache problem etc. Now I need an expert to help me simply backup my catalog

I currently have Photoshop Elements 2022 and using a Sony A7IV camera.  I have camera raw version 17.2 which works perfectly with it.  I am considering updating my camera to either the Sony A7V or the the newer A7RVI and wondering if I will still be able to update to a newer version with Camera Raw 18.3.2 installer or newer one once they update the latest A7RVI.  My current camera raw works perfectly and hate the idea learning a new system and having to go to a new more expensive program. 

Ich nutze Photoshop Elements 2026. Seit ein paar Tagen stürzt der Organizer immer ca. 10 Sekunden nach dem Start ab. Ich habe bis jetzt alles versucht:1) Alle Fotos, Meta-Daten gelöscht, Backup wiederhergestellt. Hat nichts gebracht.2) Alle Adobe Programme deinstalliert, Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool eingesetzt und alles gecleant, Photoshop Elements neu installiert. Hat auch nichts gebracht.Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar. 

I go to ‘Help” , <install Camera Raw> and follow the directions. When I go to use it (opening a .dng file) it keeps telling me to “install the Camera Raw plugin from the help menu.” I’ve tried multiple times with no results.Using Windows 11 with all current updates and plenty of disk space. Allen

I have a newer MacBook Air and it runs Tahoe 2.6.5.1,I purchased Elements on the 3 year terms. I tried to edit a RAW image from a Nikon Z 8. Elements popped up a message to install CameraRaw from there help menu. Upon doing that it does not install and freezes up the Elements 2026 program. I must do a force quit each time I try. I have tried 3 times.

Ich möchte meine 2024 Version auf einen neuen PC umziehen.Ich habe mich deshalb auf dem alten PC abgemeldet und laut Anleitung aufhttps://account.adobe.com/products die Seriennummer eingegeben, um die Version von 2024 zu downloaden und zu installieren.Es erscheint aber die Fehlermeldung “Diese Seriennummer wird bereits verwendet.”Kennt jemand das Problem und kann mir helfen?Vielen Dank! 

Hello. I have a picture that I want to use for an application's icon, and I was hoping that I could create the icon in PhotoShop Elements 6. I do not see any way to do this, however. That file-type option is not available in either "Save As" or "Export." Does anyone know how to do this? I did a Google search and saw where I would need to download a plug-in. If this is true, can anyone recommend a good plug-in? (I'm a little paranoid about what I download on my computer). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not a self employed photographer and I’m not interested in replacing my 8 bit camera with a fancier one at the moment.  However it might be fun to see ACR in action with 12-14 bit images.  I already have ACR (v14.4) but can anyone recommend a reputable site that offers clean DNG downloads?    

I updated my IOS on MacBook and Photoshop Elements stopped working. I re installed from my account and used the serial number which told me it was revoked. I would like a new serial number 

I have just downloaded and installed the Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop Elements 26 but how do I know it is working? Or is it already included in the app? There doesn't seem to be a reference to it in Elements so I had a look in my apps folder but cannot see it. Basically I just need to validate it's there and working ok. I am on Mac OS.

Using a canvas (1920x1060) to create a collage with six (6) images, PSE 2026 constantly crashes. This never happened with any of the older version of PSE and I’ve using PSE for over 15 years. This is the worse version of PSE I’ve ever used it seem with all this AI stuff added the program is less responsive and freezes a lot. Available RAM: 24960, Ideal Range: 13728-17971, PSE Using 20966. On Elements 2026, how can I disable "Constrain Properties. When I add a signature layer, it wants to keep the same proportions! I want to adjust the height and width myself. It wasn’t an issue with the 2013 edition!

I received a very official looking email msg from mail@e.adobe.com to remind me that Adobe Photoshop Elements is still in my cart.  It has an “Explore Your Cart” button and a “Learn More” button which I knew better than to press; so neither button was pressed.  There is no cart with anything in it.  Should I report this or send it to my spam folder.

Just trying to work on an image in Elements ‘24 like usual, only to find the Hand Tool no longer appears when I press space.  I can bring it up when I press H, but I’m way too used to using the space bar to want to adjust my instincts.  Any suggestions?

Import of photos and videos to Organizer has worked ok. However, yesterday  the import fails – for some photos. (At least the thumbnail of the photo is missing. The files that fail are visible in preview when selecting files to import. Is there a file size issue here? The missing files seems to be 10+ mb.(I am using Elements Organizer 26.0.0.0 running on Windows 11) 

Guten Tag, Ich hatte vor zwei Wochen auf meinem Notebook eine Bitlock Sperre und musste mühsam diesen 48 stelligen Code suchen. Dazu musste ich eine IT-Firma in Schaffhausen aufsuchen, welcher den Harddisk von meinem Notebook entfernte und glücklicherweise meine Daten retten konnte. Der Harddisk startete selbst nicht mehr auf. Somit habe ich Adobe Photoshop 9 auf meinem Home Notebook installiert, damit ich weiter arbeiten konnte. Diese Installation habe ich anschliessend deinstalliert und auf dem Noteboook mit neuem Harddisk wieder installiert. Leider meldet nun Adobe, dass ich bereits eine Lizenz installiert hätte und deshalb ich eine neue Lizenznummer brauchen würde. Ich habe diese Anweisung von Adobe Schweiz von Herr Robin heute erhalten. Ich möchte keine neue Adobe Photoshop Elements Version kaufen, da ich mich in die Version 9 sehr gut eingearbeitet habe und ich diese Lizenz auch gekauft habe. Ich benutze die gekaufte Photoshop Elements 2024 Version auf meinem Mac Book. Ich ziehe immer einen Ordner mit RAW Dateien auf meinen Organizer von Photoshop und wähle hier einzeln meine Bilder die ich bearbeiten möchte. Dies funktioniert manchmal einwandfrei. Dann gibt es Tage an denen ich aus dem selben Ordner meine Datei in das Programm zum Bearbeiten ziehe und muss dann feststellen, dass die Qualität sehr schlecht ist. Da habe ich noch nichts an dem Foto verändert.Im Vergleich zu meinem JPG das ich parallel immer noch speichere ist das RAW in der Qualität dann viel schlechter. Das kann und darf ja nicht sein!Wie kann ich das beheben?Danke für Hilfe! Denn so kann ich mit dem Programm nicht mehr arbeiten.
