Premiere Elements

I have tried downloading on both my Windows desktop & my Mac laptop. The downloads successfully complete. The installs run with the only initial error being it is unable to start the program automatically and should be started manually.When I check it looks as tho on both machines the installer has installed Adobe Priemere Elements 2024 & 2025 with neither actually working. 2025 just hangs when you try to launch the video editor. 2024 throws a config error 11. I've verified thru restarts and the task manager nothing adobe related is running which is the usual troubleshooting for that error.I am able to download and install the Premiere Elements 2023 successfully but when I attempt to buy that Adobe tries to sell me a license for 2024.When I compare the installed files of 2023 to the 2024/25 installation it looks as tho the installation does half of 2024 and then half of 2025. Support files directory is 2024 executable is 2025 in 2025 folder.I guess I'm wondering if anyone else

I'm trying to retrieve the installation files for adobe premiere elements 11.  Does somebody has a link to download them.  Thanks in advance

Hello there,I'm experiencing a problem with the Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 app on mya Macbook Pro M1 Max laptop. After I render the videos in my timeline, it doesn't show me the video of the screen at all. I can hear the audio but the screen remains black during playback. How do you fix this problem> Please reply back ASAP.

I would like to congratulate Adobe for fleecing hundreds of Dollars from me. I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 and Premiere Elements 2024 some months ago. Now that I have finally some time to sit down after some holidays and edit the footage but  I find that I cannot transfer it onto DVD. It may be a shock to Adobe but there are people out there who do not want to send their video footage to Youtube to justify their existance by exhibiting what they do.  I am a 70+ year old and I would just like to make a video of my holiday to play on my DVD player in private. Furthermore I don't want to see peoples holiday clips and I'm sure they need or won't to see mine. When I looked at purchasing your product there was NO WARNING that YOUR product was not able to do what I'm sure many would expect it to be able to do. As far as I'm concerned it is an absolute disgrace that you don't enable users to have this option.  And I'm certain others feel the same. Thanks once again,

Hello there,I use a german version of Photoshop 2020 on a windows PC. I'm trying to integrate the HEIF- and HEVC- addons. According to Adobe I have to go to settings in the programm to activate this Add-Ons. Problem: Photoshop 2020 has no visible button for "Setting/Setup/etc.". I hope someone can help me. I'm working on this Problem for over 2 hours straight and I can't find anything usefull on the internet, because everything is for the new Photoshop Elements. I hope one of you can help me. Thanks you for reading this and thanks for your help. 🙂

I am thinking of buying Premiere Elements 2024. It states that it requires Intel 6th Generation processor. I have a Lenovo V130-151KB with Intel i7 processor. How can I tell is it is a Intel 6th Generation?Thanks

When I select the 'Dual Screen Mode' and try to drag the timeline display to my second screen it simply disappears from the screen as soon as I let go of the right mouse button. On the very rare occassion that it actually works and stays on the second monitor (playing around with resizing), as soon as you try to select any media the timeline dissappears back to the first screen!I have a Macbook pro running OS Catalina. Is there anyway around this bug ?  Thanks John       

ContextI record videos on my GoPro 12's and I do some very simple editing in them. Most of the times it's just merging them together, nothing fancy at all. Everything was good until beginning of July, around that time Premier Elements just started crashing during export. It usually crashes around the ~70% progress mark. When I try to preview a music/sound effect sample from the library, it will play a few times then stop working.  When I press the play button, nothing happens.  If I try another file, it will play fine a few times, then it also will stop playing.  If I move the clip to the timeline, it will play, but I shouldn't have to add it to the timeline to listen to it when there is a preview available.  For reference,  I'm using PE 2021 and yes, the files are downloaded and I have tried restarting the app and my computer.  Any help to solve this would be appreciated.   

If I stabilise a video with 4k and 25 FPS in Premiere Elements 2024, the result is like a film with 15 frames per second, i.e. it jerks unnaturally. If I play the result at 1.5 x speed, it fits again and runs smoothly. So don't get me wrong, the film always has 25 FPS, it just looks like it has 15 FPS. I'm unable to open HEVC files.  I followed Adobe's instructions, paid $1 for the plugin, set plugin permissions to everyone and it still doesn't work.  Is there a fix for this?  I also contacted support but I can't get any help becasue I am using the 30 day free trail.  Obviously I will not purchase the software if it can't even open an iPhone video.  

Hi, I have multiple movie files thathave no audio when I bring them into PE2020 to edit them.  It's as if the audio is on the center channle, but PE is only playing the left and right channels.  Is there some way to force it to just put the center onto the L and R so I get the words?  I can hear the talking if I play the same file back in VLC or some other media player.  It' sjust in PE that I have no talking. Thanks.

Hello Adobe Community,I've encountered a persistent issue that seems to be affecting many of us. My problem began when I deleted some pictures, after which the program could no longer locate them. More troubling is the file menu becoming unresponsive. Interestingly, if I perform the **Ctrl + Alt + Delete** sequence and open the Task Manager, I can momentarily access the menus and import functions. hi, i tried to make a back up from my catagogus, but it does.t work. I tried the full back up and the incremental backu up. After I click 'save back-up', it starts preparing and does.nt go through.Anybody have an idea what I can do? Thanks!

Is there a timeline for GPU acceleration support for the RTX 4000's series?

Hi everyone - first post 🙂I record full length baseball games on my GoPro in 4K 60fps and upload them to Youtube.  I have been doing this manually using Premiere Elements 2024 by using Export and Share --> Devices -->  4k Ultra HD.  I then wait an hour or two and then manually upload the resultant MP4 to YouTube.  I have a high speed internet connection, so the uploads only take <20 minutes typically. Using Export & Share --> Social Media --> YouTube would be helpful to eliminate that manual step but it appears that the quality settings are capped at 1080p HD (1920x1080).  Is there a way to edit the default settings for the YouTube upload so I can avoid doing both steps (compile video and YouTube upload) separately?Thanks, all!

I have been downloading videos from YouTube to use in a music video. Many of these have worked. I downloaded the clips to my computer then to Premiere Elements. But lately, all the videos are washed out looking. The color is faded. How can I correct this?

Hello, I used to work with Fimora but got very desilusioned and am now looking for another video editor. In the past I worked with Premiere Elements but went to Filmora because all the rendering drove me crazy and indeed Filmora was much better at that. There is another feature they have that I would like my new video editor to have, which is the Smart Cutout. That bypasses the need for green screen. You just draw a line through the subject and then can use any background you like and no problem if you are wearing green clothes. As I have been away from Premiere Elements for a few years, I hope a lot has changed for the better! Thanks. 

I can't open Photo Editor.  It doesn't matter if I try to open it when I start the Photoshop Premier Elements program, or if I'm in Organizer.  The little twirly thing twirls, and then nothing happens.

Duration of my project is just 3min 16s. It is 4K 60fpsMy CPU in Intel I9 9900K OC@4.7GHzI changed only 3 very basic parameters:- Color- Lighting-Temperature and Tint  Encoding of my project is very slow even without changing resolution and framerate. I have a simple action cam (not a GoPro & no stabilisation) but have obtained pretty good results when recording in HD mode (60 FPS), paricularly under water.  Shake Reduction has also worked reasonably well. This action CAM can record in higher resolution so I have been making a few tests with 2.7k 30 FPS & 4k 25 FPS. A few short clips recorded with 2.7k 30 FPS were inserted into a fresh project but I noticed that the project settings were 1920 by 1080 i.e. HD & that when exporting/sharing "Devices" it offered just HD 1080.I tried Shake Reduction but the clip has a red banner "Shake Reduction requires clip dimensions to match project settings.  Create a new project" (which I had done previously). Question: Is this behaviour to be expected? A similar test with 4k 25 FPS clips worked perfectly - output as 4k Ultra HD & Shake Reduction worked - took some time to process but that can be expected. Its a good thing I made this test before a
