Premiere Elements

I ONLY get the menu bar to open the drop downs if I sign in as Administrator. Running Windows 11, PS Elements 2024.  Additionally, I sign in as Admin and have imported a folder in the Organizer. When I deleted about half the photos from the folder on Windows Explorer, it doesn't sync between Windows and the PS Elements program. If signed in as a user, I can't see any of the files I imported to the Organizer. Any suggestions for the 3 issues?

What is the latest version of Premiere Elements that supports DVD authoring and how do I download it?

When I try to run my copy of Adobe Premiere Elements 13, I get an error that it's running on too many computers.  I've ony used it on this one computer.  I hit the button to enter my key, enter my purchased key and it prompts me to sign in with my Adobe I which I do.It then tells me that "we're unable to validate the serial number" and the Customer Support link takes me to an Adobe Genuine Software page basically accusing me of piracy. How do I activate Premiere Elements 13 with my purchased key?Thanks

I completed a video in 2014 and now want to add to and change that video.  I am using Premier Elements 2021. I believe I can add the old video to the sceneline and add media to before or after the old video.  Correct? Can I also "blow up" the old video into scenes so I can add new scenes in the middle of the old completed project?  If so, how do I do it?

Hallo zusammen,  wenn ich einen Clip ins Schnittfenster ziehe, sehe ich nur das Anfangs- und Endbild, aber nicht alle Bilder. Wie kann ich sie alle sehen? Wsas muss ich wo einstellen? Wie und wo kann ich geschnittene Clips speichern und wo ablegen? Gibt es so etwas wie ein Clipboard? Ich bin vollkommener Anfänger, und schon ganz verzweifelt. Danke an alle Peter

I'm apparently unable to upload video here, but I was interested in suggestions for improving video I digitized from a 1980's vhs tape that is very dark.  It is a dance routine in a dark club with smoke effects.  I usually use Auto Smart Tone and Apply it and then when its done I use custom and judge by eye how much adjustment is required to render an image based on black being black, skin tone, white color etc.  But for this one I was curious if exploring other elements like color, color correction, gamma and lighting might be worth the extra time and effort to learn how to use them.?

I have Premiere Elements 2022 which has been working fine for a year or so. When I tried to edit a video a few months ago, I edited it as usual and then went to the Export & Share option so I could save my completed video. However, the Export & Share window opens but no matter which tab I select (eg Quick Export, Devices, Disc, Social Media, Audio, Image) the window remains completely blank. This means I have no way of saving my video, making Premiere Elements completely unusable.  Does anybody have any suggestions please? Using Windows 11 with Asus Zenbook Pro i7 12th Gen laptop.

Please help, anyone who can. I bought Photoshop and Premiere Elements through Amazon, followed the instructions, converted the code to a serial number on adobe.com, and downloaded the app. However, during installation, I get the error "Sign in error / Sign failed..." I contacted support via Twitter, they told me to disable antivirus and firewall, which I did, but I still have the same problem. I should mention that I created the Photoshop/Premiere Elements keys on the same account where I also have Creative Cloud Pro. Can someone help?

I bought the digital version of the Photoshop/Premiere Elements bundle from Best Buy's website a while back. Photoshop works fine, but for some reason Premiere kept crashing when I start it. It never got to load the app. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Didn't work. I have a 2015 Macbook Pro w/Retina Display with Monterey 12.7.4 that I just had updated. It didn't work either.  I get a message that says "Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 Editor quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple". I reopened it and it kept popping up.  What could be the reason for that? It has worked in the past, but stopped working all of a sudden. I spent too much money for it to be crashing like that. Thank you in advance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

With all kind of support i got with searching over time, I come to realise: issues maybe all similure, in that case the solution too. Avast premium security or Creator genie (in bios). Which one or both was the issue? The creator genie XMP for Ram is a big no no, for me at least, when it comes to video editing and around the field. Avast is also a big no no, for me at least, when it comes... "there! the exporting is done..."Continuing... Avast makes decision, yes for "blocking" malicious app or you know... what an anti-virus program do best.But they put a big control on your system, like they admin their self as admin without asking you for being admin ;). And two, is Creator Genie (in bios) but this time for the CPU. I am attempting to Activate my copy of PE13 installed on a Windows 11 Pro PC. I signed out of the copy on the machine I'm migrating from but the new installation continues to give me the error that the Serial Number is already in use by the maximum number of machines. I left it several days to see if the release of the old machine would take time to register, but it remains locked out. Strangely, when I went to my Adobe Account it states that there are NO machines with activated copies of either my PE13, or my version of Photoshop and Lightroom.  (Photoshop and Lightroom installed flawlessly, but are not present in the list of devices/programs either - but that's a separate issue). I'm out of ideas.  Any thoughts on how to have PE13 recongnize that I've signed out of one machine and allow me to activate on the new one?

For many years I had Premiere Elements 11. Recently I changed it to Premiere Elements 2022. To my surprise this version does not allow to burn HD DVDs which is critical for me. So I purchased Premiere Elements 11 again. But is not the some as my initial version and does not run properly. I managed to upload it, but it isdivvicult to open. When it eventually opens and I click on video editor/new project it tries to open it for several minutes and then stops. Could you please help. My PC runs on Windows 10. I just purchased this crap and it won't start.  It worked the first time but now that I tried editing another video, it simply won't start.  The only help available is the circular crappy virtual chat.  Is there a way to get my money back or this is a black hole where you don't get technical support nor your money back?

When trying to install Premiere Elements 13 on my MacBook Pro M1 I get the message "The installation package needs to be updated". Is this because of the new M1 chip? Is there a way to install Premiere Elements 13 on a M1?

File(s) were shot on a Sony Camcorder around the year 2000 or 2001.  When I select Properties in Win 10 the file type list's all of them simply as "File".  They are named Clip 01, Clip 02, etc.  They will open and play nice in VLC but PE 2023 won't import them because of what it calls a "Generic error."  I've tried adding a .mov extention to the file name which didn't help.  Can anyone recall solving a similar situation and remember how to solve this?  I can't be the first customer with this issue.I might add that this is a brand new install of PE, and it's up to date, so I don't suspect corrupt prefs or anything like that grounding my plans.  Thanks for any/all ideas and/or pointers.

The 2024 organizer crashes and states that it has detected and incompatable display driver an d it needs to be updated. Photoshop and elements has no problem. When photos are added it randomly hangs on them before posting the problem.My system is up tp dateRyzen 7950X3DMSI MPG X670E carbon wifi64GB DDR5 6000Nvidia RTX 4090Crucial T700 NVME PCI-E  5.0 2 TBI have 65,000 photos that are in another Catalog and I want to import it but I can't.  

I have just purchased premiere elements 2024 and since I haven't edited video since using Premiere about 15 years ago I wanted to go through some of the guided tutorials first.  The last one is for shadow/highlight adjustments and I have followed the directions, but there is no option under fx for shadow/highlight adjustment.  Has this feature been deleted?  Very odd, and chat service seem to be a catch as catch can sort of endeavour - I don't mind waiting as long as there is some estimate to go by, but after waiting 10 minutes with  no info I have given up.  Thanks a bunch for any help

Hey,For some reason when I am in the edit mode (editing videos), I do not hear any audio. I see master moving, so clearly audio is there. If I Export the video and play it in the system all sound are aduble.  What can cause the fact that editing videos do not paly /output audio out form the master ??  

Hello,i have problems in all my videos.The Footage is without issues, but the export of Premiere Elements shows artefactsa few frames later/earlier is without these artefacts. Tested with Footage 4k@60 fps from GoPro 9, Google Pixel 6a, Samsung Galaxy S20+.Export settings:Version info:  i'm a newby. Im trying to open an mp4 file in Prem El21 and only the audio file opens on the timeline.Its a good file because it opens/plays properly on all my video players.Any suggestions as to what may be causing the problem?

Hi, I am creating a Diashow with Premiere Elements 2024. Since the time range is very long, the photographs are in various different sizes. So when adding the older ones I get these ugly black frames left and right of the photo. How can I change this black color to some nicer one???

Hi, I use premiere element 15.0. I made a video 2 years ago of our concert. I tried to copy this editted video to an USB-stick. I tried it several times but I get the message that my USB stick is too small for the video file. However The USB stick contains more than 30 GB free space and the file is only 5 Gb. Why doesn't it work? Can anyone help me, for my orchestra is waiting for this video for almost 2 years. Help...!
