Premiere Elements

I was wanting to know if in Premiere Elements, if there is a way to get an object (including smaller ones) to move smoothly from one specific place to another (a specific starting point, and a specific ending point).  Even just being able to move horizontally and vertically would be helpful.  Can the "slide" transition be used for this, or would there possibly be something else?

I changed the playback speed for previewing the timeline (Premiere Elements 2020) and cannot change it back. I've tried to adjust it with Ctrl-J but it seems I have a choice of very fast or very very fast. What is the way to reset it back to normal? Is there a way to Reset? This is only for editing in Premiere. It renders fine!             Joel 

APE 2020 not opernning

I am using Elements 2020 to create my videos. The majority of the video clips I am using come from my camcorder Sony HDR-CX625. All this has been working fine untill ...Some clips from my camcorder loose audio when uploading them into the Elements video editor. There is an audio track in the project timeline but no sound in it. After some checking I found out that the problem started with a video clip shot on 31-08-2022 and ended 24-10-2022. Between those 2 dates I shot about 300 video clips with my camcorder and they all have the same problem.When creating a project in Elements, I can have clips with and without audio side by side.  The clips from between the two dates above have no audio, all the others do have audio in the project timeline. I do not recall to have changed any setting in my Sony camcorder.When running the problem clips with e.g. Windows media player directly from my harddrive  there is audio. Following has already been checked/done: Tried dif

I noticed that Photoshop Elements 2024 is being sold on the Microsoft Store, but I couldn't find Premiere Elements 2024 there. Can anyone tell me if Premiere Elements 2024 will also be available on the Microsoft Store? And if so, when? Thanks!

Does anyone know how to download a video from a Google pixel camera to a PC so it can be edited in Premier Elements? I can get it onto the PC, but it won't load in the editing program. Thank you, Gail

When I select Tools/Pan and Zoom Tool the picture selected doesn't display any more.  You can see the key frames but no picture to work on.  Until I render again the picture remains black.  How do I fix being able to view the picture while working on it?

Hello! So I know there have been many posts about this and I understand usually when the reason delete and close gap will not work is because another layer/music is on the timeline.However for me, this happens randomly.When I initially put the music on the timeline,  I am able to edits my clips fine, using both trim and the cut features. However I will then loose this ability, so gaps now stay open when i have trimmed, but not for every clip.Right now I cannot trim any clips except for the very end one.The music layer has multiple music clips on. I'm stummed and confused.  Any help would be great!

Using Premiere Elements 16, I have a clip where I slowed the last part down to 1/2 speed using "Time Remapping".  I now want to fade the clip out by right clicking and choosing Fade - Fade Video Out.The key frame marker is there, and it shows the opacity dipping for the last couple seconds of the clip.  But during playback, it doesn't actually fade.  Other clips (that aren't speed up/slowed down with Time Remapping") fade in/out fine.What am I missing?Thanks-M

File, Edit, Find, View and Help menu selections do not respond in full screen mode.Switching to multi-window mode resolves the issue, as long as I don't switch back to full screen mode.Environment:  Windows 11  Display settings: 2560x1600 Scale 125%  LG Gram 17"

I am trying to use the Middle East music score that comes with Elements 2024, but when I attempt to trim it so that it picks up in a more dynamic part of the score, it resets all trimmed sections back to the quiet, slow beginning of the score. No matter where I cut the score along the timeline, the newly cut section resets back to the start, leaving me with a series of trims, all of which start at exactly the same place no matter what I try to do. Even dragging the "handle" from the beginner of the track causes it to reset to the beginning. Help? Is this some sort of bug with the music scores in 2024?

Bonjour J'ai changé d'ordinateur ( maintenant Windows 10 ) et je suis allée dans mon compte Adobe pour télécharger mon Première Élément 2018 et l'installer à nouveau sauf qu'il y a un problème au moment de l'installation. J'ai un message qui dit que certaines choses n'ont pas pu être installées ( 6 erreurs ). J'ai recommencé l'installation et c'est toujours pareil.J'ai ouvert le lien afin de voir ce qu'il en était. J'ai redémarré l'ordi afin de voir si le programme allait quand même bien fonctionner et non. Lorsque j'ouvre un projet .prel le contenu ne s'affiche pas correctement. Comme j'ai fermé l'ordi la fameuse page que je voulais vous montrer concernant les erreurs n'est plus disponible. Je suis allée voir dans le Temp et je ne la voie pas.C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\{93ED97B5-D218-4168-A3B5-A1D88723CCB8}\summary.htm. Pouvez-vous m'aider avec cette nouvelle installation et le bug ? Merci

I want to add .mp4 file types as a video, i dont care about the audio but all i get is audio. Help!!!

I am running Adobe Premier Elements 2023 on MS Windows 11. I have a project I created 3 years ago, that is composed of dozens of clips all of which came from different positions in a single input source video file. I am doing some work to update this project. For each clip, how can I find out what position (time), ie HH:MM:SS it was located in the original video. Right click, show clip properties does not provide this information.

I am using Premier Elements on a Windows 10 PC. If I get a Macbook Pro using Premier Pro, can I open the PE project files in Premier Pro on a Mac?

Does anyone know how to import old Premiere Elements projects (created on a Windows machine and containing .prel files) into a current version of Premiere Pro on a Mac?  I'm told to read the user manual, but haven't readily found an answer.  I need to import them to enable me to save fresh rendered copies.

Hey,New guy here. How do I change the format of a saved .prel file to something usable on social media, specifically mp4??

I have a decked out windows machine, but randomly when recording narration, Premiere Elements freezes losing my progess.  This is extremely painful and keeps happening when I least expect it.  I try to think to save after every edit because I never know when it will strike.  Anyone else have this issue and know anything to try?

Installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 and come to find the only I can see a preview is open the project in Quick mode.Do I have to pay more money to open a project in Guided or Expert because when I insert a clip into the timeline the preview is completely black screen. Makes it extreemly difficult to edit a video. I have removed and reinstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 to no avail.

 Any guidance on why this is happening on all my installed desk top Adobe products. The apps either hang after reaching a point in the load process See images attached for file names like import360prm or load after a couple of hours and from my research into potential solutions for over the past week without success and it’s apparent the issues have been around since 2015. I’m paying top dollar for a bunch apps I can’t use and are in integral to my work.Do you have  fix or a reason as to why this happens?    

Scenario: I have a .mp4 video shot in 1080p in landscape view. The video captures some empty space on the left and right of the video but I want to keep the center intact without reducing the vertial space. Is there a way for me to crop out the spaces to the left and right of the video? Premier Elements 2023 does not seem to allow me to change the pixel resolution of the video nor do I see any way to crop it. It seems that Premier Elements Pro has that feature but I do not have a Pro subscription, and I paid money for this software thinking it will handle most of my video editing. Note that I am in no way a professional video editor nor do I use this program heavily enough to even consider paying for a Pro subscription but cropping a video seems like a common enough feature for any novice video editor to be able to use.

Ich möchte aus 5 mit dem Smartphone aufgenommenen Filmen einen Zusammenschnitt erstellen.Derzeit muss ich die 5 Filme einzelnd bearbeiten und exportieren, um dann die 5 Exporte in einem Projekt zu laden, aneinanderzureihen und zu exportieren. Das kann es doch nicht sein!Wenn ich die 5 ursprünglichen Filme gemeinsam lade, zusammenfüge, schneide und dann exportiere, erscheinen Bilder z.B. des 2. Filmes über dem Bild des 3. Filmes und es flackert, d.h. es sind schwarze Bildschirme dazwischen.Ich schneide einen Film, markiere den Teil, den ich herausschneiden will und verwende "Löschen und Lücke schließen". Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich falsch mache?VG Peter
