Premiere Elements

When I click Export And Share, the video vanishes. It says it went to YouTube, but it didn't. I want it to go to MY account on YouTube. That is the whole point of the exercise. Make a video, post it to MY account on YouTube. HELP!!  

I am using Premiere Elements 2024 on an iMac.  I put the main video and audio on track 1.  I put another clip with a green screen on video track 2, and did a video merge to remove the green.  This worked perfectly.  The problem was, the effect was too large in relation to the main video.  I selected the added clip, and used the resize handles to reduce the size of it.  There were black borders (letterbox?) visible at the top and bottom of the added clip that were now visible in the video, a result of the sizing down.  Is there a way to get rid of these borders?

I am running Premiere Elements 2024 for the first time. I put together a little three-minute Christmas video of the family.  On the desktop there's a file called "2023_Christmas_.prel" and the corresponding mp4 file. When I click on the "prel" file and go into the program, a bunch of folders appear on my desktop:  -- Adobe Premiere Elements Audio Previews-- Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Audio-- Adobe Premiere Elements Captured Video-- Adobe Premiere Elements Video Previews-- Encoded Files-- Layouts Most of those folders are empty.  There is a file in "Layouts". I have attached a Screen Save of the relevant section of my desktop. I am running Windows 11 Home on a fairly new Dell XPS 8950 Desktop computer. Am I doing something wrong?   Should those folders be somewhere else?   

I've been running into this problem when shooting MOV files on my Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max:I shoot videos with "4K at 60 fps (High Efficiency).  When I bring them over to my Windows 11 laptop they show up as MOV files with 3840 x 2160 resolution at 59.85 fps.  When I go to play the videos with Windows Media Player, it plays the audio but no video.  Same problem when I bring any of the MOV files over to Premiere Elements and try to edit them.  Also, if I lower the framerate to 30 fps or 24 fps, it's the same problem - no video, only audio. The only way I can play the MOV files on my laptop are with the VLC Media Player, it seems.Do I need to update a codec or something?  What do I need to do to edit/view these MOV files on my Windows laptop?  

FB considers I do not have the right to use music I acquired in the Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 bundle so they muted my Video. I am far from being a legal expert but I believe it is quite clear that I can make free use of anything created and built out of Premiere Elements. How do I add the appropriate credentials for the Premiere Elements music to my video to avoid copyright inconveniences on social networks? Kind regards,Tone

Hello,   My 9-year old Win 10 laptop is showing its age, and I will probably have to buy a new machine in 2024.  My current laptop has an integrated DVD writer drive, and I use Adobe Premiere Elements 15 to create DVD videos watchable on my Panasonic DVD player/recorder.My options for a new PC are very limited if I require an integrated DVD writer, as opposed to using an external USB DVD writer. So my question is:Does anyone have experience of creating video DVDs from Adobe Premiere using an external (USB) DVD writer?  In theory, an external DVD drive should work just as well as an on-board drive, but I want to make sure that there aren't any unexpected problems with DVD creation from PE 15.Finally, the new PC will be a Win 11 PC.  Will I still be able to use my current Premiere Elements 15 software under Win 11, or will I have to buy a newer version?Any feedback will be most appreciated. 

Certain project files (.prel) make my computer lock up. They don't have anything in them that isn't in any other .prel files I've made. Is there a size limit for projects? My drivers are up-to-date, so I don't think that is the issue. Is there any way to "repair" these types of files? Any help will be appreciated.

I recently had to upgrade to Premiere Elements 2024 after a BIOS update caused Elements 2022 to stop functioning on my laptop (another issue in itself but let's ignore that for now). This toolbar (pictured) has been added underneath the editor timeline and I haven't been able to find an option to remove it. It's completely unneccessary and takes up a large chunk of usable timeline area. I know I can reduce the size of the preview window to enlarge the timeline are, but I prefer a larger preview window whilst editing. Is there an option to remove this redundant toolbar?

Premiere Elements organizer quits unexpectedly, Elements 2024, Mac Mini M2Pro, 16gb memory, Sonoma 14.2.1

When I apply Shake Reduction (Detailed) to my mp4 video clip it and export or render it then it has black borders around it and doesn't match my other clips that are full view in 1920 x 1080 format. The format numbers are the same so it must be adding a black border rather than resizing it to match the other clips without borders. I can understand that to eliminate the shake it needs to crop but I need it to then enlarge back to original size with no black border. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2023.  I have made several videos so far using both files from my camera and my phone with no problem.Tonight I am trying to add a .mov file to Elements Video Editor from my iphone and I get this message:Your system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media.  Click on "Learn More" to know how to enable these formats for import. I don't understand - did something change in the past week?  and why does it say HEVC or HEIF when I'm using .MOV? When I click Learn More it wants me to download a file for free and then there's another file they say is .99Can anyone explain?Thanks,Sharon

After installing the update ( 22.12.2023) the application cannot be launchedThe following text appears:"Loading the Adobe Premiere Elements editor workspace is in progress..."and after a few seconds the text disappears and the application does not start..How to proceed?What's wrong?The installation of the update was correct, no error message.

How many days after purchasing APE2024 I can ask for refund?I'm simply tired with various problems and issues I have with that software.I'm not going to contact Adobe support with every single problem as this process takes too long, especially if they ignore this community forum. I don’t understand what the point is of using tags such as ‘Error or problem’ or ‘Feature request’ if nobody from Adobe responds to them….

I was wanting to know if in Premiere Elements, if there is a way to get an object (including smaller ones) to move smoothly from one specific place to another (a specific starting point, and a specific ending point).  Even just being able to move horizontally and vertically would be helpful.  Can the "slide" transition be used for this, or would there possibly be something else?

I changed the playback speed for previewing the timeline (Premiere Elements 2020) and cannot change it back. I've tried to adjust it with Ctrl-J but it seems I have a choice of very fast or very very fast. What is the way to reset it back to normal? Is there a way to Reset? This is only for editing in Premiere. It renders fine!             Joel 

APE 2020 not opernning

I am using Elements 2020 to create my videos. The majority of the video clips I am using come from my camcorder Sony HDR-CX625. All this has been working fine untill ...Some clips from my camcorder loose audio when uploading them into the Elements video editor. There is an audio track in the project timeline but no sound in it. After some checking I found out that the problem started with a video clip shot on 31-08-2022 and ended 24-10-2022. Between those 2 dates I shot about 300 video clips with my camcorder and they all have the same problem.When creating a project in Elements, I can have clips with and without audio side by side.  The clips from between the two dates above have no audio, all the others do have audio in the project timeline. I do not recall to have changed any setting in my Sony camcorder.When running the problem clips with e.g. Windows media player directly from my harddrive  there is audio. Following has already been checked/done: Tried dif

I noticed that Photoshop Elements 2024 is being sold on the Microsoft Store, but I couldn't find Premiere Elements 2024 there. Can anyone tell me if Premiere Elements 2024 will also be available on the Microsoft Store? And if so, when? Thanks!

Does anyone know how to download a video from a Google pixel camera to a PC so it can be edited in Premier Elements? I can get it onto the PC, but it won't load in the editing program. Thank you, Gail

When I select Tools/Pan and Zoom Tool the picture selected doesn't display any more.  You can see the key frames but no picture to work on.  Until I render again the picture remains black.  How do I fix being able to view the picture while working on it?

Hello! So I know there have been many posts about this and I understand usually when the reason delete and close gap will not work is because another layer/music is on the timeline.However for me, this happens randomly.When I initially put the music on the timeline,  I am able to edits my clips fine, using both trim and the cut features. However I will then loose this ability, so gaps now stay open when i have trimmed, but not for every clip.Right now I cannot trim any clips except for the very end one.The music layer has multiple music clips on. I'm stummed and confused.  Any help would be great!

Using Premiere Elements 16, I have a clip where I slowed the last part down to 1/2 speed using "Time Remapping".  I now want to fade the clip out by right clicking and choosing Fade - Fade Video Out.The key frame marker is there, and it shows the opacity dipping for the last couple seconds of the clip.  But during playback, it doesn't actually fade.  Other clips (that aren't speed up/slowed down with Time Remapping") fade in/out fine.What am I missing?Thanks-M

File, Edit, Find, View and Help menu selections do not respond in full screen mode.Switching to multi-window mode resolves the issue, as long as I don't switch back to full screen mode.Environment:  Windows 11  Display settings: 2560x1600 Scale 125%  LG Gram 17"
