Hello everyone here!I love my Mac and all, but one of the things I definetly *do not* like is the very jealous manner in which photos/videos are managed in the Photos app. I just cannot find a way to export my video clips into Pre Elements directly into Premiere Elements. Sadly, Adobe is another culprit because it does not show a way to import assets from Photos. Both sides seem stubborn in their ways and I am here struggling to even begin a project in Pre Elements. I think that maybe I should export the video clip from Photos to a "normal" folder on my Mac, and then import from there. But, that way I will have an original, a copy and perhaps another version of the same clip when I save it on a Premiere file. Apple and Adobe shame on you for making things difficult! What am I missing here? There's probably something staring at me and I do no see it. AFAIK, this is the same in Photoshop elements. Any help? Thank you.
Why does premiere elements 2022 Not recognize a 2.73 GB clip I put in the timeline? Is the clip to big? If I add text to that clip, the text is only recognized. Help.
Hi,I have PE 15 where I can burn my project with menues directly to a Blu-ray disc or as a ISO disc image file.I have watched Steve Grisetti YouTube Basic Training for Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 tutorial part 8 where he demonstrated how to publish a project to social media but not to a disc. There is a disc icon in PE 2022 which suggests that it is possible to burn a project directly to a disc or as a a ISO disc image file as I do in PE 15. But I am not 100% sure that it is the case. Steve, please let me and other PE users know if the disc option is activated in PE 2022.Thanks. Lev.
Hi folks. I've gotten past all the stuff I found on Google searches, and read as many relevant posts here as I could find. We have Premiere Elements installed on a Windows 10 PC that is regularly updated. It was installed about a year ago and was working well since. A few weeks ago, we lost the ability to launch the program at all. When we launch it, there's no evidence of the program doing anything, but the CPU usage goes way up, and we observe an Adobe Prem. Elem. process running continuously on the CPU. It also starts an Adobe Auto Creations process which runs constantly. That's it -- nothing more--the processes will run indefinitely until they're killed. The computer heats up from the activity. We've uninstalled Prem. Elem., uninstalled Premiere Rush, which was also installed, deleted all the content of any Adobe Prem Elem. or Rush dirs. we could find, run regedit and deleted all the entries for Adobe Prem. Elem. and reinstalled i
Hello I have been using Premiere Elements 14 for a number of years including now on Windows 11.Until the past week, it would write Bluray discs with chaptering etc (and the PC will still write Bluray discs using Roxio). The project seems to go okay and says "Burn in Progress - Encoding Media" and it gets to 98%, and then after a while says "Burn in Progress - Burn Failure". The project will still export as a DVD and MP4. I have tried: * removing the chaptering* putting in a full MP4 version of the project with no edits* starting the whole project again, etc but still I get "Burn in Progress - Burn Failure" when trying to burn Bluray discs. I would much welcome any advice on possible fixes. Thank you all
Hi AllAfter completing a video timeline I needed to correct the lighting. I've applied an auto lighting fix and it seemed to do the trick but I've since rendered the video and now during playback on the editor I have diagonal bands through moving elements of the video. I fear I may have to go back and create a whole new video. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.
I get a message from Adobe: "Installer failed to initialize. Please, download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem." I have the choice to Quit orto Get Adobe Support Advisor. I click Get... And I am sent a page with lots of places to go that do not seem relevant. Tried to navigate the page and found no Adobe Support Advisor. Your ideas will be valued.
Hi folks, I am moving from Premiere Elements 9 to 2023. When loading a project, I am receiving an error stating "one or more effects or transitions in your project are no longer supported". I am presented with an OK option and Learn more option, but no explanation to help me pin point the transition or effect that was available in Elements 9.Choosing OK clears the message. Choosing learning more takes me to the below URL, but still no indication which effect or transition is producing the error.https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/kb/supported-file-formats.html Can you please help me find what Premiere Elements is complaining about? Any logs, System or Application that I can look at?Please help.
I bought Premiere Elements 2019 many years ago. I have used it for managing my photos in Organizer. I have thousands of photos and I have tagged people, written captions etc. I would love to get a cloud backup solution to all this info I have written, and also to have the solution to automaticly upload in the cloud the new photos I will tag and write captions for. As far as I can see, this is not possible in my current Premiere Elements and Organizer. Can I change to another solution easily without having to write all the tags and captions again?
I am on Dell XPS-15 With Elements 2022 teying to edit and render Video in 5.3 K 60SPF (Go Pro 11). I have Intel Iris se and NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti GPUs Playback is EXTREMLY slow/ Rendering takes in the Hours. How do I optimize my resources? Do I need another / another version for editing. Help 🙂
I have installed adobe premiere elements 15 and it would not go full screen on my second display. So I changed the primary display to my bigger screen and then tried to make the app's window full screen. It can now go full screen however everything in the app has scaled up. The fonts are bigger, the icons are bigger, widths and heights are bigger. It basically means that my work space is the same as if the app was on my laptop screen. Everything gets scaled up on my 27inch screen. photoshop elements 15 doesn't do this. Please help.
I've a problem with the scaling of the UI of Premiere Elements 2020. I've got a new pc, with the resolution 1920x1200. Before i had no issues, i had a pc with resolution 1920x1080. The strange thing is that photoshop elements is scaling the program right, but premiere elements zooms till 200% or so what. When i change the resolution to 1920x1080, the program is scaling right. I contacted the Adobe helpdesk, but they didn't find a solution. Are there others with the same problem? Is there anyone who found a solution? I would like to use the program in the normal resolution
When Transcoding fails, there can be several possible problems. Here are two of those:Assets that are not working well in Premiere.Gaps in the Video portion of the Timeline. Now, there are some differences in the way that PrE and PrPro Transcode a Timeline. In PrE, the program will use a 2-pass VBR (Variable Bit-Rate), so 100% of the Transcode will be both passes. Because of this, if the program reports 75% completion, then it’s failing at ~ the half-way point in the second pass. One needs to do a bit of math. In PrPro, one can set the Transcoding, so they may, or may not need to do that same math. Now, let’s say that the Transcoding stops at 75%, and 2-pass VBR was used. That equals about half-way through the Timeline, and on the second pass. That is where one should start looking, and looking closely at the Assets around that point. Does one have overly-large still images there? If so, then this ARTICLE will give some tips on how to handle those. Does one have an odd Video CODEC in a C
I'm loving the latest build of Premiere Elements (2023). It's much faster and includes all the latest video formats, however I'm missing some of my go-to effects such as Earthquake and Active Camera. Are these hidden somewhere else in the program?
Any solution with the "mts audio out of sync with video" issue?I have edited and generated 20 mpg4 files based on the MTS file before I discovered that the audio was out of sync. Very frustrating. I have tried with other settings for the project but it will not work in premiere elements I use version 2021 of premiere elementsRunning the MTS file with media player it syncs correctly
I downloaded the Premier Elements 2023 Student Version. When I am trying to create videos and enter the edit screen to cut the video. Once I try to preview it freezes in play mode and I cannot stop it. I am hoping this is a bug that was corrected in the last update because it was happening before the update and I have not been able to test it since. When it freezes the only thing I can do is force close it. Then I have to start all over again. I am using a Mac Book Pro 2014 (i7) running macOS Big Sur.
Is there anyway to get addtional effects to load up? This is all I have for Premiere elements 2023
I am using Adobe Premier Elements 13 and I have created several clips. saving each one as a Adobe PRE file. I am trying now to combine all those saved clips into another new movie and it seems I have to "reopen" each created clip in order to add it to the new movie. Is there a way for me to put each of my already created ELE clips into the organizer then zI can drag and drop each one onto the new movie? Thank you."
This happened before, but the first time I tried to burn a DVD ftom Premere Elements 22 (ver 20) it fails to find and use my installed DVD/BluRay disk drive. Other apps have no problemreading or writing.
I add frequent text comment to my moviess. It would be a super improvment if I could define a default text, size, color, and other properties, such as BOLD to the text. Also, I miss creating Chapter Menus in Premiere Elements 2023. (Why was this feature deleted?)
When rendering video (HEVC) recorded during skiing with my GoPro Hero 10 (4K, 60fps), the snow colours on the output video from premier elements are very poor: on some views, the snow looks yellowish, bluish, purple, pinkish...When looking with VLC at the origal input video, it looks a lot better. First converting the HEVC video to H.264 with handbrake before importing it in Premier Elements, gives a somewhat better rendering result, but still the output quality seems fairly low (rendering on high quality setting in Premier Elements, but even then, the output file is a lot smaller than the input MP4). Any suggestions on how to solve this ?
When importing MOV files, the colors are seriously washed out. Started happening today. Please help.
I used to create instant slideshow and save them as mp4 files. Then I could load the files into premiere and restore the original frames which I could then edit to correct the errors made my instant slideshow. I can't fine a way to do that in premiere 2023.
Somebody told me that I can restore a backup to any PC from just the backup itself.Meaning, not have installed the Element Software first. That cant be true, can it ?
Recently upgraded my Windows 11 PC. Trying to reinstall my P/Elements 15. I get to this point:I've checked I have my correct S/N yet I get this message anyway. My software is not installed on any other computers. I have in the past reinstalled the software a couple of times without any problem. Possibly Adobe uses these as cumulative previous installations thus telling me I have the maximum number of installed uses. I've replaced my motherboard so maybe that is what is causing a mix up? I've tried quite a few installations going about it in different ways, all failed. Tried to install it from my disc as well as directly from the Adobe download site. Will appreciate any help on getting this Program up and working...Thanks
