Premiere Elements

My video length is 15 minutes.  When I export it to Quick Export, the length is 2 hours and 19 minutes and the file size is over 6GB.  How can I get it back to 15 minutes and a realistic file size?  Elements 2018.  Windows 10.

Recently bought a new computer. Where my photos live now has a different Drive name than before. Evidently all links are broken. Is there an easy way to fix all my movies made on the old computer?  The folder names are the same, just the Drive letter changed from I to D.

Habe gerade einen neuen Laptop gekauft (HP ENVY x360 15-ed0995nz) und wollte mit dem Premiere Elements Programm videos bearbeiten: Nun hängt das Programm ständig beim abspielen oder bearbeiten der Videos. Woran kann das liehgen?Wäre froh wenn mir jemand helfen kann.

When I launch PE2018 on my new Lenovo 8185 (Display adapter "Intel HD Graphics"), the loading screen freezes when it gets to the point that it is "Loading PlayerMediaCore.prm".For the record, I checked the graphics driver and made sure it is the latest one. Initially, I only updated it on the Win OS level, but then I saw a more specific driver update on the Levono site and installed that one.As a side note, this is "progress" over the first issue I was seeing when loading the application would immediately at the "Initializing application" stage... The good news is that I got past that... but now the startup procedure freezes on this PlayerMediaCore stage.I did some checking on other similar threads. One was almost identical to mine but it turned out to be specifically about an AMD Graphics card... and was resolved focusing on that card. My adapter is an "Intel HD Graphics", so the solutions found in that thread do not apply to my adapter. For reference, here is a link to that thread:\h

PE22 worked fine for a while but now I can't burn to DVDs.   I can get to Export & Share but once I hit the DISC Button I get nothing but the little blue download wheel, spinning non-stop.   Any suggestions?  Thanks.

I am using APE15 on Wll. I am editing individual clips in the edit window but when I drag the cursor to scrub through the clip, the video is pausing and I then have to wait several seconds for it to catch up with me. Is there any way to scrub smoothly? I assume the graphics are overloading but I have 32GB RAM, Ryzen 9 CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm using Premiere Elements ver 18 on Windows 11. It by default installed an "Adobe" folder within my C drive Documents folder and stores everything within subfolders at this location; Video Previews PRV files, Auto-Save files, prel project files, etc. These end up taking a significant amount of space (over 37GB) on my C: drive. While I can live with this if need be, I would prefer that all these files were stored on my D drive (which is also a solid state drive). Is there some easy way to tell Premiere Elements to use the D drive and I can just move all my current Adobe folder contents over to that drive? Thanks.

I'm trying to import some videos from iPhone13 and to Premiere Elements 2022 I get an error of HEVC codec and Premiere Elements 2022 redirects to "Using HEVC and HEIF media on Windows (adobe.com)"I follow the instrucions (bought the codec from Microsoft) and problem persistes... Can you help me ?

This topic was asked in 2018 but there didn't appear to be an answer. I'm a longtime user with a number of Keyboard Customizations that have worked great for years. I just got a new laptop, went into Customization, clicked the Command, clicked a key... and nothing happened. Then I went back to my old laptop, did the same thing, and nothing happened! In the old laptop, I then cleared the command for one key and attempted to assign the same command and again, nothing. Please help...

I think I have had this issue since the 15 version or all along  and I do work around it but now I am curious to know why it only does this on certain clips.Example: I have two clips on a timeline, in Premier Elements 2022 this time, and I highlight the two ajoining clips to apply a default transisiton. The command does not work. However there are little grey arrows in the upper ajoining corners that mean something to this. So if I trim just a little off the end of the first clip these grey markers go away and I am able to apply the transisiton. What are the little grey markers telling me? and how is this affecting the transtion command. Is it something I can correct without trimming the clip?  As usual, thanks in advance for your interest in this post and input you may have.

Hi all, using premiere elements 2020 and I can track a part of the video , seems to work, the box moves along with the object when i press play.  I cannot get a graphic to attach to the track.  When i place a graphic on screen and the rectangle turns blue, when i play the object is always static, any ideas?

I'm trying to use the Motion Tracking in Premiere Elements 13.I have watched several tutorials on how to do this and all seem very simple.The problem I am having is that when I "Track Object" it is only tracking a single frame of my video clip. The Yellow Rectangle disappears after the first frame of the clip.If I attach a graphic to follow the motion, it moves for the first frame and then stops (so it doesn't really move at all).I have tried this several times, reset the tracking, deleted and re-imported the video clip, tried different video clips, tried rendering the clip prior to tracking...none of these seems to make a difference. Anybody out there that can help??Running Windows 10Premiere Elements 13 (up to date)

I am trying to create a video composed of all jpg's but when I render it, the video becomes fuzzy. There are approximately 200 jpg's in the video. They show up great prior to rendering. Can this be fixed?... I am working on a desktop on Windows 10 using Premiere Elements 2020. This is the first time that this has happened and it is also the first time that I have used this many jpg's in a video sequence.Am I using too many jpg's?.. I have never had this happen with jpg's that I have taken myself but this video has a mix of my own DSLR and a professional photographer who was also using a Nikon DSLR.Is there something in the settings?... HELP!... oh, and keep the replies simple as if they are geared to a newbie - thank you!.. .:)

I have been trying to use PE 2022 to zoom in on a secton of video like I can do on my phoneOn the phone it still looks same image qualityHowever when try PE 2022 or MS Video editor or the phone crop tool the image degrades far too much.I tried Adobe express on line and it did a MUCH better job cropping /zooming in.So how do I acheive that in PE2022?

I created a new project. Imported slide show from Photoshop Elements. Added additional media. All worked very well. Worked on it a couple of days, opening and closing. All went well. Then the most recent time I opened it to work on it, there is not sound. All elements are visible in the timeline. All media in place exactly as before. But when I attempt to preview/play, there is no sound. My system sound works fine. In fact, I can open other projects and they play fine, sound and all. Just this one project for some reason is not playing either the audio attached to the original imported slide show, or the background media I added. Again, they all worked together perfectly until the last time I opened the project.

Hello,Using Premiere Element 20 on PC intel I7, 16 Go RAM with Intel Iris Xe graphics.I am trying to export a video without any effects (purpose was only to compressed video using Premiere element) and with the reduce size option.With the quick export and partage it always freezed at 5s to the end. There is no error message, only the progress bar that freezes and even after 15min nothing happens.I tried several times, restart my computer and it is still the same. I also tried without the reduce size option, same issue.My input video lasts 44s and is 76Mo size Thank for your help 

I have a number of video clips and each one has a still photo within it.  Is there a way to size and position the photos across multiple clips so when the video transitions, the photos are in the same spot?  Trying to avoid the jarring effect of the photo jumping to a new size and position when it changes.  Thanks!

Can I save movie in .avi format as I could with versions 7 and 10?

I have recently bought a new laptop and have installed PE13 on it. When I open up the program a message pops up informing me that my serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers and I need to deactivate the old computer to use this product again.  I have contacted the Adobe helpline twice and each time I have been transferred to a "specialist agent" and have been kept waiting for hours.  In the end, I give up and disconnect.  I am now waiting for the 3rd time for help and have been waiting for over 3 hours.  I need Adobe to deactivate this product from my old computers so that I can continue to use PE13.  Can anyone please help? 

Hallo zusammenIch habe ein kleines Problem und bin Anfänger auf Premiere Elements 2022.Wie bringe ich den Abspielbalken schnell an die Position 0, also ganz an den Anfang.Ich sehe nur "zum vorigen Schnittpunkt gehen", "zurückspulen" und "Schritt zurück". Irgendwie fehlt da doch die Taste "Zurück an den Anfang" oder ähnlich ...Jetzt schon besten Dank für die Hilfestellung!!!Ernst

I made a video with a 3D motion flip-over transition and converted it to an MP4 file.  Later I decided to remove the flip-over transition, but I can't figure out how to do it.I Googled it and it said that I need to shift-click on the clip to remove it, but that didn't work.Is it even possible to remove the flip-over transitoin once its been converted to an MP4 file? If so, how can I do it?

I'm trying to highlight a part of video by zooming in with a pip box. I want to keep the main video running behind the pip that's zoomed in. I added a second video, I managed to make a pip, but when I try to add the zoom, it forgets the pip, and the entire video is zoomed in. It's gotta be a simple way to do this. Thank you

 Take a look at the mouse pointer. Nothing works when at this state. Only imported a transition in the right menu. Any suggestions? It also takes a lot of time to import a transition. Sometimes it works, somtimes it enters this state at the picture, and I need to reboot.Thanks 🙂
