We're happy to announce the release of Lightroom Classic 14.1   What's new in this update?   The December 2024 release of Lightroom Classic supports the following feature enhancements, along with new cameras, lenses, and fixed bugs. Customize the blur effect in a photo with an Oval bokeh, available in Lens Blur and Adaptive presets.   Update now Visit the Apple app store to update Update We’re excited to announce that the dedicated version of Adobe Express for iPad is finally here. To get this version, please visit the App Store and install the latest update (version 26.7.0 or later). Most iPad models are compatible, but please visit the system requirements page to confirm your device’s compatibility.   File migration: If you’ve authored files on your iPad that haven’t been migrated to the new format it may be necessary to go through a file migration process to convert your files to be compatible (similar process to file migration on mobile devices). You’ll know if file migration is required because you’ll be presented with options to do so when you first open the new version on your iPad. If you’re not ready to migrate, it is possible to try out the new version one time before committing to migrating your files. It is recommended to finish editing any current files before migration. If you migrated on your mobile device previously and haven’t created any additional files on your iPad, no migration may be necessary.   Business moves at the speed of a signature! For businesses, the signature represents the last mile in their journey to acquire or service customers. Each year, hundreds of millions of users electronically sign agreements. Many of these users, who are used to signing on paper, are signing electronically for the first time. A seamless and intuitive user experience helps users easily understand agreements, fill the required information, and complete the signing process quickly. Any friction in the user experience can lead to delays in closing the transaction or worse - losing the customer. For something so critical, e-signing has seen little innovation for the last several years – until now.   We are thrilled to launch Acrobat Sign’s next generation e-signing experience. Traditionally, e-signature solutions rendered agreements as images which inherently limited the end user experience. In contrast, our new e-signing experience, built on Acrobat’s trusted global standard PDF viewer, renders the agreement as a native PDF. This unlocks major improvements in two key areas of our e-signing experience: streamlining agreement completion across mobile and desktop, and accessibility.   Since launch, customers have seen significant improvement in agreement completion rates. Signers describe the experience as intuitive and polished, making agreements clearer and faster to complete.   1. Streamlining agreement completion Signers represent a diverse range of backgrounds and technical abilities. We designed the new experience to empower the signer to confidently navigate, fill, and complete agreements across desktop and mobile devices.  Let’s look at an end to end user journey.   The user journey starts through an email. Building trust at this stage is crucial. Without it, users may dismiss or delete the email, mistaking it for spam. To establish credibility, we display the sender’s name upfront and carry customer branding within the email. Once the user lands on the agreement, we guide the signer through the completion process with intuitive navigation and clear visual progress indicators. This minimizes confusion, streamlines the experience, and helps ensure the agreement is completed accurately. After a user places their signature and completes the agreement, they must click “Submit” to finalize the signing process. However, many users unintentionally overlook this step, leaving agreements incomplete. To address this, we introduced a pulsing animation on the “Submit” button to draw the user’s attention and encourage them to complete the action.   Quickly find key information with native searchSigning an agreement isn’t just about placing a signature. When working with documents – especially lengthy ones such as contracts – finding specific information can make all the difference. We added search functionality so users can get to the details they care about easily. It's as easy as "CTRL-F".   Improve page navigation  To make it easier to browse long documents – such as onboarding handbooks, training materials, etc. - we’ve included thumbnails for quick references. Instead of scrolling each page, signers can get a sense for the document’s content with high resolution page thumbnails on the right-hand pane.   2. Accessibility: Agreement Reading and FillingWith over 1.3 billion people experiencing significant disability (1 in 6 of the population), it is critical that digital agreement workflows are accessible. Not only is digital accessibility an opportunity to build trust with clients, partners, and employees, but regulatory guidelines have continued to get more rigorous in this area. This is especially relevant for industries such as healthcare, education, and government.  Adobe has long been a trusted leader in documents, known for creating the PDF format and leading the development of accessibility features within PDF. As digital accessibility laws evolve, we are improving our platform to help create a more inclusive digital world.       Existing e-signature solutions reduce agreements to flat images, erasing critical formatting and accessibility. This turns clear, structured text into an unformatted text blob, making agreements harder to read and engage with effectively. Layout structure such as headings, paragraphs, tables which are critical for comprehension are lost, making it hard for screen reader users to read document information or complete tasks. In the worst case, signers cannot read the document at all. Here is how our approach to accessibility solves key problems:   1. Maintain document structure for screen reader recognition and navigation Most agreements include headings, paragraphs, tables, and lists – structural elements that help screen readers guide users through the content. In image based agreements, this structure is missing or lost completely, making it difficult for screen reader users to navigate or understand the document layout.   Unlike existing e-signature solutions’ image based agreements, we render agreements as PDFs. This allows the PDF tag structure to remain intact, enabling screen readers to navigate and read the text seamlessly.   In addition, we have built-in PDF viewer capabilities that will announce to the screen reader when user actions are taken, such as updates in processing, changes in zoom levels, and even scrolling to different pages:     2. Organized reading and form filling by persisting tag tree   When agreements have many form fields, it is important that the user understands the correct sequence of form filling. This leads to a disorganized and frustrating form filling exprience. Unless the structural tags, including tab order, are guiding the user, moving logically from one form field to the next becomes difficult. As a result, keyboard users may jump to unrelated sections or miss fields completely. This lack of structure is time consuming and may cause delays in agreement completion – or worse, not being able to complete the agreement at all.   Our solution persists and exposes the PDF tag tree to the screen reader, ensuring the tagged document respects a logical tab order for both content and fields.     3. Maximum readability with crisp, scalable text Agreement images inherently lose clarity and is blurry when zoomed. For users with low vision, blurry, hard to read text can be a frustrating reading experience.   Our solution allows users to zoom in without losing any reading clarity. This ensures that users can keep text sharp and readable at any size for a comfortable reading experience.      4. Comfortable reading settings with support for OS Dark mode settings Reading preferences such as dark mode reduces eye strain and improves readability, especially for users with light sensitivity. Because the agreement is rendered as an image, existing e-signature solutions lack flexibility to adapt to users’ native OS’s dark mode preferences, leaving documents with bright white backgrounds.   Our agreement viewer adapts to the OS’s dark mode settings. This ensures users enjoy a comfortable reading experience at their preference.   Every agreement you send for signature represents a customer touchpoint. With our new recipient experience, end users can now sign with confidence on any and designed with accessibility-first. We're happy to announce the Public release of Adobe Bridge 15.0.1   With the December 2024 update, Adobe Bridge addresses following multiple user-reported issues.   Thumbnails are getting pixelated in the Content panel. Text wrapping and UI issue with Keyword field in metadata. Scrolling in the Folder panel is sluggish. We are happy to announce the release of Adobe Bridge Beta (15.0.1)   We have been tracking the issues reported on the latest release version of Bridge and have been working on fixing those issues. This Beta release contains several user-reported bug fixes.   Fixed Issues Optimized scrolling experience through mouse on certain panels such as folder panel, metadata panel.  Improvements in preview of images with sharp edge content like text on content panel. With Adobe’s last Acrobat Sign Release of 2024, Adobe is yet again expanding its electronic signature capabilities by adding more flexibility to signature processes and providing additional ways to verify the recipient’s identity.     Managing document templates for multiple user groups  Acrobat Sign users tend to repeatedly use templates to make sending documents for signature more efficient and control the layout and content. Many companies have groups responsible for creating templates for others in the company to use (common examples are legal agreements such as non-disclosure or data protection agreements). With the November 2024 Acrobat Sign release, users can share templates with multiple user groups, even groups they’re not part of, to ensure use of the most recent version across the organization. Learn more here.    When Creating a Template    When Modifying a Template    Notifying users when it counts  Managing time-sensitive agreement signatures has just become easier. By adding a new cc functionality on a recipient level, senders can notify key stakeholders when it’s most relevant. Using this new functionality, for example, in an agreement that requires 3 signatures before it is routed to the CFO and CEO, their executive assistants will only be notified when it's their respective C-level’s turn to review and sign. This feature enables them to speed up the time to agreement completion. Learn more here.     More Power to the recipients - correcting mistakes without sender involvement   Typos, misunderstandings or other errors may happen when filling in agreements before signing, this could include the correct legal entity of a signer, order volumes or new addresses. What before might have required cancelling the agreement, notifying the sender and sending a new agreement can now be in the full power of the recipient. By providing power to the recipients to simply “restart the agreement”, the agreement is sent back to the first recipient with commentary on what needs to be corrected, enabling an easy way to correct mistakes without involving the sender and needing to resend the agreement. Learn more here.          Verifying the recipient’s identity  Organizations that especially rely on processing agreements for the exchange of funds are facing more and more threats regarding identity fraud (in the US alone, 552,000 cases of identity theft occurred in the first half of 2024).     To help combat these fraudulent attempts, Acrobat Sign not only offers a strong ecosystem of Identity Provider partners to assure the identity verification of individuals, but moreover it allows to check the identity of recipients against a predefined value.     To be more specific, Senders will now be able to define the target name as part of the recipient information before sending for signature and requiring the recipient to match that name when proving their identity. The new Identity Check functionality works with all the Digital Identity Gateway partner services, performing highly secure identity verification methods such as ID.me, IDnow, OneID or BankID. The new Identity Check functionality also works with all the Cloud Signature Partners providing regulated digital signature services from more than 50 Trust Service Providers globally.     For example, a fraudster called “John Smith” who tries to impersonate “Frank Brown”, a legitimate beneficiary of government subsidies, would be blocked from signing a claim submission in Frank’s name. That is because the Sender enforced identity verification and using this new feature, would specify Frank’s full name as the intended name, and this feature requires the intended name to match with the identity information returned by the identity provider before providing access to view and sign the document. Even if the fraudster is able to complete the identity verification with the method selected by the Sender, he won’t be able to identify himself as “Frank Brown” and therefore he would be blocked from viewing and signing the agreement. Identity Check criteria and results are also documented in the agreement’s Audit and Signer Identity reports. See more information here.       Adobe also expanded the ability to apply identity verification methods from the Digital Identity Gateway partners for the first Web Form Signer and from the Acrobat Sign integration for Salesforce. Especially for Web Forms that are publicly accessible, verifying the identity of signers is crucial to combat fraudulent transactions. Using trustworthy Identity providers can provide higher assurance and reduce risk in your online processes.    Besides these key highlights of the Acrobat Sign November release, Adobe delivered many other new settings and capabilities. The problem: ZXP files signed on macOS are failing when installed and run on Windows machines, and vice versa. On Windows, this may mean that the installed panel appears blank, or only functions as expected with debug mode enabled.   Expected Behavior: Historically ZXP files signed by ZXPSignCmd may be installed and used succesfully on both macOS and Windows, regardless of which platform they were signed on. The Workaround For the time being, the work around is to sign ZXPs on the platform they are expected to be run on. Sign ZXPs for use with macOS on a macOS machine, and ZXPs intended for Windows on Windows devices. FAQ Q. Which versions of Creative Cloud apps are affected? A. We're not sure. It could be related to Creative Cloud desktop app 6.4. It may only be for 2025 versions of dektop apps. Please help us report this issue by letting us know in this thread. Q. Will I need to maintain two different listings on the Adobe Exchange Marketplace? A. We're still investigating this. Q. I don't have two computers handy for signing two ZXPs, what are my options? A. If you have a Mac, you can run a Windows virtual machine. If you have a Windows machine, there are cloud-based macOS virtual machine options available.   If you sign a ZXP on a virtual machine and find it still doesn't work, please let us know in this thread. Q. Is a fix on the way? A. Due to other important maintence, it may be some time before we have a fix.

Adopting e-signature solutions not only modernizes document processes but also contributes to organizational efficiency, security, and compliance in today's digital age. Forrester Consulting conducted a study on behalf of Adobe, called  The Total Economic Impact™ of Acrobat Sign. The study examined the financial impact of Acrobat Sign and found that companies who modernize their document workflows with Acrobat Sign can see significant business benefits on their investment. It suggests that organizations may experience benefits of $6.8 million over three years versus costs of $1.3 million, resulting in a net present value (NPV) of $5.5 million and an ROI of 420%. Be it in terms of efficiency and speed, resource savings or positive environmental impact, e-signatures can improve customer experiences and support digitization for organizations.   Acrobat Sign’s built-in features offer a seamless experience for both senders and recipients, minimizing the need for manual interventions and improving completion rates.   Before diving into specific features, let’s check out a few potential scenarios which commonly hinder a recipient and sender experiences.   Abandoned Agreements: has not signed the document, and the agreement remains In Progress without an expiration date Recipients are unsure of the email/SMS received for the agreement, suspecting it to be a fraudulent agreement Incorrect / Invalid recipient email address, sender not realizing due to various reasons such as not checking the bounce back mail from Acrobat Sign about incorrect/non-existing email address, or not tracking the agreement status, etc. Cancelled Agreements: In some scenarios, the sender may need to update the associated document. If the first Recipient has signed the document and changes are required, this will require the sender to cancel and resend with updated documents. Workflow errors while sending, which cannot be later modified for in-progress agreements, such as recipient role, private messages or additional recipients etc. may require the agreement to be cancelled. Recipient authentication failure, scenarios where sender conveyed the wrong password, or maximum attempts to input the correct OTP/Password are exceeded.   Expired Agreements Expiration dates that have not been reasonably set or reviewed for a potential extension may result in expiry.   Acrobat Sign includes a robust feature set designed to help organizations maximize completion rates, minimize manual interventions and follow-ups, and ensure effective user experiences and efficient use of Acrobat Sign Transactions.     Reminders and Completion deadlines Through Reminders in Acrobat Sign, senders can set an automatic reminder frequency to inform the recipient of an incomplete action. This can reduce circumstances where agreements are abandoned or expired due to neglected . Completion Deadlines feature helps motivate the recipients to action the document signing process before a specified date. The expiry date is well highlighted in the ‘Review and sign’ and ‘Reminder’ emails as well. It is the best practice to monitor upcoming expiring agreements and possibly extending them. Account/Group admins can manage default reminder frequency and completion deadlines at their respective Group levels. In case a sender forgot to set reminders, or a completion deadline, they can do so after sending the agreement via the agreement properties on the Manage Page.   Reminders and Competition deadline can be set by the sender while sending the agreement     Options to Edit Reminder Frequence/Completion Deadlines for In-Progress documents   Modification of in-progress Agreements: Most configuration details of an agreement that was sent for signature can be modified. This ensures that invalid email addresses for recipients can be corrected, alternative recipients can be added, and reminder frequency or expiry timelines can be adjusted to avoid cancelling the agreement. A modifiable agreement is one that meets the following criteria: ・The agreement has not been signed, approved, or delegated to a recipient or approver by the delegator to whom it was assigned. ・The agreement does not include a digital signature or written signature. ・The agreement has not been initiated from a custom workflow. ・The agreement is individually created without a template. Agreements created through Workflows and Send in Bulk do not allow modifications.   Group Management in Acrobat Sign: Creating Groups and allocating users to their respective groups is a recommended best practice. Group Admins in business and enterprise-level customers can monitor and manage their own group settings, or settings that directly affect the abandoned/expired agreements, such as expiry timelines, automated reminders and decline to sign. By leveraging groups, users can elevate team leaders to group administrators and delegate responsibility to provide additional oversight of usage, which may help in managing transaction consumption more effectively. Furthermore, depending on the requirement, users can be assigned more than one group, through Users in Multiple Group feature. Account/Group reports can be sent on a schedule or exported for further analysis.   Advanced Sharing is an important feature when agreement oversight or a collaborative team environment is required. Advanced Sharing can be enabled on your account by the Acrobat Sign support team if it is not visible to the account admin. This feature will provide advanced capabilities, such as Modify and Sending access to other’s accounts which can be strictly managed at the account or group level. Additionally, Account Admins have visibility to “Shared Users”. Users will be able to view and manage other’s accounts from the Manage Page. However, the Sending feature is performed by a “Switch To” option under the Profile icon. When you have larger teams that need to share responsibility for agreements that are sent out for signature, establishing a centralized service account to manage them and sharing it out to the team. This can build resiliency across the management of agreements, as individual sharing can become challenging to manage as the team grows. Overall, this improves better team collaboration and oversight of In Progress agreements, reducing the abandonment or expired agreements.   Switching profiles when Advanced Sharing is enabled   Enabling Private Messages in Acrobat Sign allows recipients to share relevant information with recipients to aid them to take necessary actions on the agreement. Personalize the general message to provide context and clarity to the recipient. When introducing Acrobat Sign, ensure business partners and customers are aware of the new way to sign. Senders can configure these while sending the agreement. This can avoid scenarios where the recipient is unaware of the purpose of the agreement; or needs some instructions to complete the actions. Private messaging feature is available in ad hoc and Customer Workflows.   Reporting in Acrobat Sign: Using reports to analyze and track how Acrobat Sign is used can help identify trends in the organization’s usage. Through Report filters, admins can check the average time taken for agreement  completion, or split across in-progress, completed or cancelled agreements. Further analysis can be performed by administrators by exporting reports to CSV export, accessing the agreement metadata for all the cancelled/expired agreements to determine the cancellation reasons, etc.   It’s recommended that each user configures Events & Alerts in their Acrobat Sign accounts, enabling emails/alerts for events such as agreement bounced; not viewed in a set duration; upcoming for Expiry, etc., which can result in proper action before the agreements get abandoned or expired. In Advanced Sharing scenarios, a user can receive alerts for accounts shared with them, apart from their notifications.  Custom Sending Workflows: Mostly, agreements that are sent out for signature follow standard signature policies and they rely on the same document template that is slightly adjusted to the specific agreement. Enabling users and or group administrators to build Custom Workflows unlocks their ability to implement signature policies along with the up-to-date document template and simplify the sending process whilst ensuring the correct signature policies, reminders and expiration dates are configured – a great way to minimize mistakes in Acrobat Sign!

Suppressed creation of a pinned folder in the native file explorer for synced files. The CC Troubleshooter app will no longer appear on the Mac OS Launchpad.
