When I go to my Adobe Acrobat Reader Account it won't let me change my primary email address. Why?

Hello, "There was a problem readinhg this document (109)". This problem only occurs on a new computer. I installed Acrobat Reader, but it can't open files from the server, only local files. Others users can open PDF files without problems.  I've already tried all the solutions I found online, but they didn't work. 

I have a user that had been using Adobe Acrobat Reader on a new PC for about a year without issue. A month ago, this user's Adobe Acrobat would crash when attempting to fill in a fillable field in a given PDF. If you leave the PDF alone, it will stay open, but the moment you try to edit it, or fill in a fillable form, Adobe Acrobat crashes.   The user is on Windows 11 Pro and on Adobe Reader Version 2023.008.20533. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Acrobat, removed all anti-virus, and run the Adobe cleaner/uninstall tool and the issue still persists. If anyone has any insight or advice it is greatly appreciated. I have protected view set to 'OFF' as well, as I noticed that suggestion in a lot of articles that dealt with Adobe Acrobat crashing. I open a document this morning and was faced with the new Adobe Acrobat screen.  It [inappropriate]!  The 'old' screen is completely functional for my needs, and works exactly as I need it to. Luckily after a bit of searching, I found an option to switch off the 'new adobe', but when open the program the first thing is another popup asking if I want to try the new Adobe!    How can I stop seeing this popup, and how can I assure I'm not forced in the future to use this program, like an auto update, etc.?    Adobe used to be about supporting people's creativity. Now it's about being flashy and selling us more crap Adobe, quit trying to sell us crap, and force us to use updates when we don't want to!    [moderator deleted inappropriate text]

Adobe Reader Doesn't shows PDF file when it opens trough print fast in Outlook. It opens Adobe shows the file for  a sec and afterthat it closes the file and shows only the recentfiles list withouth the file taht just was opend. Weh reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Alrady a few times but this still happens. Please help

Hi Adobe Community team, our marketing department relies on very strict brand colour guidelines, but we have noticed that some of our key colours (for example #b55d91, #f68e48 and #188679) look noticeably duller and slightly greyer in Acrobat Reader than in other PDF viewers and printed proofs, even when the PDF is exported with embedded colour profiles. Are there specific colour management settings in Acrobat Reader, or an export preset you recommend, to ensure brand-accurate rendering of marketing PDFs for all users?

Has anyone had this issue and was able to resolve it? Everytime the user opens Acrobat it requires them to sign into Microsoft Purview. Selecting "Remember me for future access" does not stick.

Dear community, my customer has recently received a new MacBook with macOS 12. He is currently having the problem of receiving password protected PDFs from another company. When he opens the PDF in Adobe and enters the password, Adobe says the password is incorrect. However, when he opens it in Apple's Preview app and enters the password, he can read the contents. Hello.I have been signing PDF's using an entity that generates qualified digital signatures.Using the latest version of Reader, if I open the signed PDf's in older OS like 2012r2 or W7, Reader connects automatically to the ocsp address to check for it. From that moment onwards, the signature of either the the first signed PDF or other PDF's is considered valid. If I open them, eg, in Windows 11, it does not do that and I have to add the entitiy as a trusted certificate in order to validate successfully.Since I send these PDF's to other people, it is somehow difficult to ask them to do this.What can I do to solve this?Thanks.

I am having trouble previewing PDFs in the Windows Explorer preview pane.  I am running Windows 11. I have tried everything I can think of, reinstalling Acrobat Reader, making it the default program, etc. I can preview Word files and images, so this problem only occurs with PDF files.

Since upgrading to Tahoe OS, whenever I click on a tab (at the top), the screen leaves full screen mode. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Old laptop running Windows 11 and no issues whatsover with PDF previewer in Explorer.  Two new laptops, same brand, running Windows 11, and both have the same issue.  In Adobe settings, the option to "Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer" is grayed out and cannot be selected.  I've read a lot of discussions, but none exactly like this. PLEASE HELP!  I used this feature all day everyday.

The attached PDF file can't be opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader for Windows. However, it can be opened with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, LibreOffice, OnlyOffice and UPDF. Please, can you correct this bug?

I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR ACROBAT. I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR ACROBAT.STOP ASKING ME TO PAY FOR ACROBAT AND NOT ALLOWING ME TO OPEN PDFS ON MY COMPUTER WITHOUT PURCHASING YOUR TERRIBLE SOFTWARE.  This is ridiulous and an absoloute abuse of monopolistic power that Adobe has, it should be free for me to open PDFs on my own laptop.  This is a systamatically perverted and targetting sick company. 

I've seen countless posts all the way back to 2020 about this issue while searching the Adobe community and it's hard to believe this is still an issue after 5+ years of users reporting the exact same issue. Several users in our office, including myself, are unable to use the fill & sign tool. After clicking "Sign Yourself" then clicking "Add Signature," Adobe greys out and freezes. It acts as if you're supposed to see a popup or a new window but nothing happens even after letting it sit for a while. Can someone tell me why is this happening? I have a regular pdf file with text on, but whenever I try selecting a portion or highlighting it, it selects a giant portion as if the font size was giant. I tried the "recognize text" tool (OCR) but did nothing. It's also not the first file I encounter this problem with.  Thanks in advance.

How can I stop Adobe from starting and opening every time I start up my computer?I have both the options "open at login" and "keep in dock" turned off.  Still, it automatically starts and opens when I start my computer. This just started happening recently.

Since about 1 - 2 Months ago Adobe opens Downloaded PDF Files from Chrome or Edge automaticly. The Setting to deactivate it is found under the general Settings.A direct translation from german would be: "open PDF-files that are saved from the internet" The Issue is that everyeone would need to do this manually, there does not seem to be a registry key or anything else to deactivate it on a company level. I don't think any administrator wants to set this setting for their 300 colleagues and if anyone knows of a way to deactivate it automatically that would be perfect. For anyone interested, yes the default PDF program is not adobe but it still opens files that Edge or other browsers download.In addition to that, right below the setting itself is a link that supposedly shows compatible browsers but i only get a "404 not found" when I klick on it.

I've just downloaded acrobat reader on my new pc, but I don't understand why the version looks so different from the one I had on my older pc... anyone knows how to help? 

Hello, Until last week, it was possible to add PDF files directly as attachments to a Microsoft Outlook mail.Now an additional button has been added where a link is shared and the file is shared through Adobe's cloud service. Is it possible to turn off the option to send the file as a link (and thus upload it to the cloud) by default? So that all files go directly to Outlook as attachments by default again?
