I cannot find a way to enlarge all the UI fonts in After Effect, I am getting blind with my new 4K resolution monitor... Any help?   Thank you Carlo   Mac Os and AE 24.4.1

This was weird. I was trying to rememeber where to set my default output module, and while in Preferences > Output I noticed "Enable ProRes hardware accelerated encoding, if available." First off, Adobe, how about removing the "ifs" and instead only enable this option if hardware accelerated encoding is available? Is ProRes hardware encoding available on this computer? I don't know, but After Effects knows.  After enabling the option, I was told to restart After Effects.Upon relaunching After Effects, the app told me I was using Adobe products on other computers and that I needed to sign out of one of them first. It also offered me a link to click to manage my account. Ok, not true, but Ok... click the link but Safari warns the server does not exist. I’m experiencing a recurring issue with After Effects (v24.5 / 2025) on a brand new machine built for motion design and 3D. AE consistently freezes during preview after a few minutes — the interface remains responsive, but the preview image stays locked. how to solve missing/black frame in after effects guys? Im editing 2k video clip with 1080p composition setting

After Effects warning: Undo group mismatch, will attempt to fix. Have reinstalled After Effects a number of times, and now have a new computer. IT support at work are baffled. This happens as a result of not being able to import files in the normal way (File> Import, double click the media browser, right click on media browser and import) This is not a continuous issue, when I first open AE, I am able to work as normal, import at normal. Only after importing a few different comps does this begin to happen. I am suddenly unable to import any type of file or media. It does not respond or react to opening a box to even begin browsing for what I wish to import. The only other way to import would be to drag and drop my desired media into the project. As a result, when attempting to edit key frames for that imported item, this error (as before) will appear, and all imported media will disappear. Any idea how on earth to fix this issue, or what else I can do? The work around I have at the

guys can anyone help with this issue i only wanna see blurmocurves graphs but twitch appears too that blue and pink thing .  when I only select blurmocurves, all the effects on that layer are automatically selected when I enter the graphs, even if I don't select them, and even the sound graphs are visible. I just select blurmocurves and click on the graphics editor

Hi guys I'm working on a project where I need to rotoscope a bank card to change it's color.I've made the roto in Mocha and transfor it into a mask.I've added a motion blur in the mask settings, it works fine but ... the angle and phase are wrong.I went to the comp settings to change it but it seems that it doesn't make any difference.It works with moving objects created in Æ but it doesn't with masksAny idea? Thanx

Hello,  Using After Effects 2020 for some reason the keyboard shortcuts for "I" (go to layer in point) and "O" (go to out) don't work. I've tried manually setting it in the shortcut config, i've tried resetting the preferences and it still doesn't work. Is it a known bug or am i forgetting something or not doing something right?   Thank you

I can't find any deatilled answers for this. What have: a 4k 16:9 music video What I want to do: Put this video in a VR space, preferably, the video is playing behind and in front of the user to there is little stretching. I also want to be able to preview what this look like in 360 space, so i can drag around to simulate was the end product will look like. What I have tried: Creating a 2:1 composition, adding my video to this comp, and applying the 'plane to sphere effect' Image of what im left with attached.   

Hi using a mac. Just updated it to Sonoma 14.0. After I updated it, i connected my HDD formatted in Extended Journaled.  My after effects project files were opening through after effects v23.6.  I am unable to save changed i make to these files since this error is appearing -File Couldnt be open for writing: /filepath ( 3 :: 0 ) The only way i am able to use the save feature on after effects is to 'save as' the file on my desktop. this is not sustainable for me as i barely have any space on my system disk and hence need help with the issue.I have around 4 TB space on my HDD where i want to save.  This is across all after effects files on my HDD and not file specific issue.  I have checked the entire path's permissions and everything is read and write. I have checked the application after effects and its permissions are also read and write.  I have shut down and turned on my computer.  I have checked name extensi

I get this pop up everytime After Effects starts up.  I'm on a 2019 iMac running macOS 11.2.3 with the latest version of AE 18.0.0 It seems plugin or script related, because it showed up when I copied all my Plug-ins/Presets/Scripts folders over from my After Effects 2020 folder to the new 2021 folder. 

Hello, I need an expression while linking the rotation and position peramiters of two 3D plains to follow to each other. How can I displaice one plain by a single pixel so it doesn't clip in to the other?   Many thanks.

In After Effects - I have tried all sugestions that was posted in the community, but nothing worked - can some help I get an error message as 'Analysis solve failed' and then '3D Camera Tracker Layer Size must match composition and use default transform values' I have also attached screenshot of error message. I have been on After Effects 25.2 for a while and finally made the jump so I can get that sweet layer offset control that got added. However, an unexpected result is that I am now getting an error message when starting up the program. I've not had Plexus as far as I can remember, maybe at some point long in the past but I definitely have not used it in years and years, I don't own it. I tried installing a demo of Plexus both via Rowbyte's site and AE Scripts, but both installations resulted in the same thing, error persists. When looking at my Library Application Support folder, there is no Plug-ins folder inside my Adobe Common folder. Any thoughts on how I can solve this? It doesn't seem to be impacting the program at all, but every time I launch it this shows up. I am not having this issue on my laptop at home, it's unique to this machine. I keep both machines very evently aligned as far as plugins goes, so if I had at some point installed Plexus here I would hav

I would like to know if there is another option or workaround I can try.Here is what I’ve already attempted:"Show Layer Controls" is activated.Pre-composing the layer and applying the tracker afterward.Making the layer 3D and then applying the tracker.Any help would be greatly appreciated.    

Hello, I wonder if anyone could help me. I want to add footage as a texture to the surface of an extruded 3D shape layer. For example, if I have some footage tilted in a 3d plain I can extrude elements from within the footage.  Many thanks.

I would like to create a credit roll in AE in which cast members are listed as actor <separator> role pairs, with all pairs horizntally centered and aligned on the separator (probably an ellipsis, but I haven't decided yet). Is there a way to do this without manually shifting each line to get the separators to line up? AE does not seem to have a sophisticated tab feature. And if I did resort to manually shifting each line, what would be the best way to d it?

While i was the program suddenly forze, blocking all my computer and forcing me to restart the pc by holding the power button. After that event every time that i try to just open the app my computer stops working: the screen goes completly black and unresponsive, without any blue screen or error pop ups. Even if i manage to close the app before the screen goes black the computer stops working, freezing on my desktop. The crash is not even reported in a Crash log (the log folder for the version 25.4 is empty) I work on an Asus Vivobook pro 15, Windows 11 on the latest version, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 laptop GPU, processor Intel core ultra 7 155H. Everything is updated to the most recent version.

I'm trying to start off small with house mapping. I have a video I made and would like to project it on the door from the side. I can not figure out how to warp the video so it looks flat against the door. I have looked at tons of how to videos and found nothing I can learn from.Can someone help me or if you know a simple how to video that would be great..
