Questions

Am unable to see the object details under the scene panel. The 3D file is opening with textures, but unable to ungroup it or change any layer/object properties as no details of such an object is visible in under scenes. It just has environment and camera options. Any suggestions on how to tackle this issue is highly appreciated. Thanks. 

Hello everyone !  I need to create a full wrap on a hard hat. If I do it with dimension, it is possible to get the 2D distorted image to print it on the hard hat using thermoforming afterwards ? Thanks ! 

Dimension (3.4.3) opens up just fine, but if I click on "create new" or "take a tour" or anything, nothing happens. The cursor just spins. Hey Guys, Im wondering if someone can help me! Im trying to wrap a decal around a supplied bottle.obj and the decal is being reflected from the centre to the top and bottom of the body. I tried using the body Uv technique to see where I should place the artwork, but It is doing the same thing to the uv!  Please help me! 🙂 Thanks Chey    

Hello, It's my first time using Dimension. All I want is to create 3D text, but I'm having trouble getting the alternative glyphs to work for my text in my chosen font within the program. Is there a trick to this, or does it not have that functionality, yet? If not, please make it so! It's a book cover, so the alternative letters I'm using are important to the design. Thank you, A

Where did Adobe Dimesnsion go? I can't find it in my Program files, I also can't find it in Creative Cloud app! and the web link to install directs me to buy other apps? less than a month ago this blog post said it won't change :https://community.adobe.com/t5/dimension/introducing-adobe-substance-3d-stager-and-dimension-update/td-p/12133140how can I get back the app?Thank you.

Hi there! I have a questions regarding custom 3d files.I been working on a couple of files for a product for a while now, the 3D model I been working have had iterations on the last couple of months. I have some of the previous OBJ files for this product saved on my library but I'm unable to add new ones, can't copy paste them either from a new file.How can I add a new custome obj file to a scene? I used to just saved it to my library and add it to my scene. But now everytime I tried to drop the file on the library I got a message saying the file is not supported but it is! I have previous versions of it. I'm worried I may have to re create huge scenes from zero everytime I have to a new iteration. Am I doing something wrong or there is a new way to add custome objects to our libraries?Thanks in advance!

Hola, tengo la versión de Dimension 3.4.3 y cuando quiero hacer un archivo nuevo o abrir uno existente, Dimension me deja ver la barra de herramientas, las capas, etc. pero no me deja ver la mesa de trabajo con las formas 3D.  Antes de la actualización no tenía problemas para ejecutar el programa. Sin embargo, ahora al ingresar al programa me dice que no tengo VRAM suficiente para ejecutarlo correctamente, ¿dónde puedo consultar mi VRAM?¿Y cómo puedo aumentarlo/mejorarlo? Gracias.--------- Hello, I have Dimension 3.4.3 installed. When I want to create a new file or open a prexisting one, Dimension lets me see the tool bar, the layers, etc. but it doesn't let me see the work-table with the 3D shapes. Before this last system update, I didn't have any problems while using Dimension. However, now after opening the program, it said that I didn't have enough VRAM to visualize it correctly, where can I see how much VRAM I have? And how could I improve it? Thanks. 

Dimension says I have to buy it and it won't let me in. All my other apps are opening up. Creative Cloud seems to be working. Anyone out there who can connect to Adobe and let them know. I would guess the registration for Dimension is out of date.

Open Adobe Creative Cloud on MacClick on Apps tabUnder CATEGORIES try to find [Dn] Dimension It's only present under: Graphic Design > scroll down to > "More ways to design and create" My 2¢: with the launch of Substance 3D plan I believe Dimension will be abandoned soon by Adobe. 

Hi, Im a beginner with Adobe Dimension. I am applying decals to a cube box, and when I render the image, the bottoms of the product turn black (see images).Can anyone help?    

 Please assist. "Update now" link isn't actionable. I am using an enterprise creative cloud account.   Adobe isn't letting me contact their support either. 

Since some days ago I started seeing an error message when I try to open Dimension. I already tried reintalling it a couple of times with no luck.

Hi all, I’ve been using Dimension on my PC for at least the last 12 months (so have upgraded at least twice) with zero issues until recently it crashed during a render, locking my OS meaning I had to force quit it by turning off the PC. On restart, it installed a Windows update and I’ve not been able to launch the app since without getting the ‘Does not meet Open GL requirements’ error message, and says the application will now shut. (incidentally, I also lost the animated zoom function in Illustrator (but not Photoshop) at the same time, so suspect the issues may be linked somehow ?) However, it seems Dimension doesn’t completely shut down and appears to run as a background process instead ? This means that the OS still sees Dimension as running, meaning the only way to quit it (in order to be able to uninstall/reinstall) is by ending the process in Task Manager... (annoying). I’ve tried all the fixes suggested (updates to OS and drivers, clean install of grap

I’ve recently started using Blender to create objects, but for now I am still using Adobe Dimension to build my scene since I already know it and am midway through a project.I just imported my first blender related object, and I’m not able to match the material of existing objects to the new object. The new objects absorb the color, but not the “texturing” (e.g. surface variations).Note the rifles and pistols on the left have nice tonal variations, and the batons on the right do not.I’ve tried using the sampler tool and starting from scratch with the Darken Antique Bronze and then adjusting color and other properties.  This could well be some setting in Blender as I’ve ad no problem importing objects I’ve created in Photoshop and Sketchup, so I’m asking in my Blender community also. But if anyone has any ideas, I’d sure be grateful.

How can I get adobe dimension in 2021

I have creative cloud (51 apps) and i used to have dimensions, now it is gone? I dont see it in the creative cloud at all... any suggestions?
