Questions

I seem to have the Creative Cloud and all its applications from CS6 and 2015 up to now on my computer. How do I get ONLY the current applications without ruining the programs. I am thinking abount uninstalling every single one then reinstalling the current one, but it seems like that is going to take me forever. Any thoughts or tips? Thank you very much in advance!

Good day, I am trying to uninstall my creative cloud dektop app and all the other apps that I've downloaded. I've used the creative cloud uninstaller and creative cloud clearner tool. However, they are still some files on my laptop, the files' icon has a question mark with a white background. Would like to know how can I get rid of these? Thanks in advance.

Trying to install Photoshop on C Drive (HDD) but I am getting error code 176. The C Drive is not a network drive.  I also tried installing it on the other external drives but get the same error message.

I tried to uninstall Adobe Photoshop so that I may reinstall it, but the Creative Cloud Desktop did not let me. for the record, i don't really understand why, but i seem to have both Photoshop 2020 and 2021 installed, and never bothered uninstalling 2020 because i always assumed it didn't cause problems. However, lately Photoshop 2021 has been freezing way too often thus losing data before I save, so I would like to fix my Photoshop. Since I can't just error report due to how on the fritz my program is, I'm not sure where else I could have put this.

Hi,after updating Creative Cloud the other day it doesn't recognise that Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign are already installed. On the Apps-tab it invites me to install those applications. As they are installed already I would expect Start rather than Install. Due to this I will miss important update information, probably. So far, I have already logged out, renamed the library und started Creative Cloud again. But that didn't help at all.Any ideas? Thanks for your help.Bernd

I have been using CS6 apps on my Windows laptop for several years. Recently, I purchased a slightly more capable Windows PC and tried to follow the rules for de-installing from my old laptop and installing the apps on my new PC. However, when I entered the serial number (which my account AND Adobe tech support informed me was correct), I received an error message that the serial number was invalid. Since it clearly is a valid serial number, I need help in figuring out what to do. Yes, I know Adobe no longer supports CS6, but that's not the point. I simply CANNOT buy another CC licence for this machine, nor do I need all the bells and whistles of the latest apps. I just need to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and maybe DreamWeaver -- but only on rare occasions.  Any advice will be welcome.

I am running Windows 10 and have the full CC suite.  I was doing some PC cleanup and noticed a huge (372 GB) hidden temp file, called AdobeTemp, right off the C drive.  It contains only .ttc, .ttf, and .fon files.  I've tried to delete but I cannot. I tried the Adobe recommendation of using Disk Clean up and even tried in Safe Mode but still cannot.  I spent an hour with adobe tech support but no luck.  I can't believe a this huge folder is supposed to be there.  Can anyone verify that this is normal for a 372GB temp folder?  And if it's not normal, any ideas on how to delete?  Thanks.

I am migrating Photoshop Elements 7 to a new computer.  I have located the files and installed them on my new machine.  I have also noted the product serial number.  When I opened Elements for the first time, I was prompted to enter the product serial number.  I received a message saying the serial number was not recognised.  I have repeated the process several times with no success.  I am using a Windows 10 pro system.  As I am not currently an enterprise customer, there does not seem to be any way for me to contact Adobe directly.  I would be grateful for any assistance anyone can offer.

My programs were uninstalled this morning, even though I made no changes or updates. I am attempting to re-download Creative Cloud but the download is extremely slow and is now frozen. I have tried repairing the installer, but that has not worked. What caused this to happen, and why am I not allowed to re-download the programs?

I just got the most recent Macbook Pro for Christmas and I'm downloading software on to it and I need to download Dimensions for some graphic design work and it says it's not available for devices using apple silicon. I'm not sure what this means but when will Dimensions be available to download on my laptop/ is there a way to get it on to my laptop? Thank you!

Hi.  It possible to find and decrypt the CS6 master collection SN on the nonbooting HD at this point?  Lost my stored SN info & didn't realize it till now.  Or is the SN part of my Adobe account and recoverable?  Bought it back in 2016, so I am certain the vendor no longer has the info if I can even contact them now. Any responses appreciated.  Noticed Jeff Wright responding to a not-too-dissimilar post on this forum, so wondering if Adobe actually has such records. Thanks,Bruce Duncan

A question about Adobe Portfolio. Currently my portfolio is on Square Space. I have my custom domain through Rebel.ca. I have a CC subscription. Question..If I build a portfolio/website with Adobe Portfolio, do I have to find someone like Go Daddy (as mentioned by Adobe) to host it or am I all set to go, just repoint the DNS. If I discontinue with Square Space ($12/mth), will I incur other charges from anyone else in order to have my website up and running with Adobe Portfolio? thank you.ask question 

I deleted my account about a month ago and i got charged for $22.30 from adobe id creative, why is it doing it still, i checked all of the old files for adobe, and deleted all of it, why is it causing this to pour out my cash out for ? 

How are Creative Cloud app personal settings, preferences, libraries, etc., transferred to a new computer?  I see a sync settings feature mentioned but can't find it.  I don't want to sync all my project files and drafts to the cloud.  I can't find a concise, complete, up-to-date answer for how to do this.   I went to my account and hit Resume Syncing and a few new pictures from the other day were uploaded.  I do not want to do this.  All I want is my personal working environment installed on the new system.   Thanks.
