Questions

Hello!  I'm not sure if this is even possible or if there's a way to create something like this but is it possible to create multiple artboards in an illustrator document at a variety of different sizes perhaps from a built-in illustrator tool or a script using a CSV file? similar to how you import variable data but using width and height data from an excel document to tell Illustrator the size to make the new artboard/artboards.  I have little knowledge of how to script but if there is a way I could create one any help would be greatly appreciated.  I hope I've worded the question okay. When I scroll while having Illustrator set to GPU mode, my program freezes for a few seconds, and I can hear my computer's fans spin up faster. Hi guys, I have been using a dual-screen setup for some time, with Adobe Illustrator as my primary software. I have a 13″ MacBook Pro which, as most would agree, is not the most accommodating size for graphic design. To improve usability, I use a 43″ LG IPS display at my office, which provides an excellent working environment. However, when working from home, I am limited to the MacBook’s 13″ screen. While the reduction in screen size is challenging enough, a more persistent issue is the disorganisation of my Illustrator panels and windows. They often scatter across the screen, requiring manual repositioning. On occasion, they disappear entirely off-screen, making them difficult or impossible to retrieve, though this only happens rarely. My question is: is there a reliable way to manage or automatically restore panel layouts when switching between different screen setups? Hi, I want to manually warp text (such as stretching, etc.) in Illustrator. It used to let me do it the normal way, but now I can only do it by typing in the numbers for sizing. Does anyone have an idea why or how I can fix this?

Sólo para que tengan en cuenta les cuento que si pierden o roban la tarjeta la suscripción no se cae, se les va a seguir cobrando todo lo que tengan suscripto por más que la tarjeta ya no esté vigente. Por lo tanto, no es confiable guiarse con los datos de facturación que la cuenta de Adobe te muestra. Ojo con esto, porque no es transparente la información que muestra adobe en la cuenta. Esto funciona como débito automático por más que desde Adobe te afirme que es una suscripción, las suscripciones se caen cuando las tarjetas no están activadas (por el motivo que sea, en mi caso fue porque la denuncié), los débitos automáticos se renuevan cuando hay cambio del plástico de la tarjeta. En mi caso fue una mala experiencia ya que se me debitaron un montón de meses, sin tener la tarjeta activa, hasta que detecté el corbro y me contacté (claramente ya no estaba haciendo uso de los servicios de adobe). ¡Saludos!

Hola, quisiera saber en que directorio de mac estan los espacios de trabajo creados para poder coger el archivo y ponerlo en otro illustrator de otro equipo.

I work on plans and need a basic pixel grid, not the perspective grid. It used to be an option under "view" (the default grid option), but I can't find it ever since my Illustrator was upgraded. I do NOT want to just use the "draw grid" tool (too much time, and it appears as a layer option, not a default anchoring and spacing system, preset to small units). Is there any way to get this back??

I went out and bought some fonts on my own a few years ago-actually paid for them-but when I try to use them in the latest version of Illustrator, any carriage return will switch back to the default, Myriad Pro. This is pretty infuriating. How can I stop it for good?

Hi, my laptop crashed suddenly and so Illustrator recovered the document I was working on, however every time I try to change the visibility on one of the layers it defaults to outline mode and 'cant finish previewing'The only paths that I can preview are these three if the other paths aren't visible: Any ideas on how to fix this please? I have tried Cmd+Y and no use.

I have a script I've been using for over a decade that just broke when I upgraded to Illustrator 2025.  I'm exporting the artboards to Photoshop files using exportFile() and this now throws an "Error 1200: Internal Error".  I rely this script nearly every day at work, so I had to roll illustrator back.  This is a very generic error, so no idea if this issue can be fixed.

Hi I've been working on making fliers in Adobe Illustrator, but the last time I was working it I accidentally reset my computer before or while saving. Since then I can't open it again. I see there is a longer distant past chat about this but today and twice in succession the app crashed while employing the eyedropper tool on the second occasion I lost the work (no big deal as I have a copy). Why is this happening and is the Adobe team aware?

Last year I was given a full adobe creative cloud subscription by my tafe. When my course ended I immediately lost access to all my apps and was unable to retreave the files I had on illustrator. This year I have started a degree at the same tafe and my account was reactivated. The account is under the same email address it was last year since this is my school email. However, all my files from last year are gone. Is there a way to find and retrieve the files I saved to the adobe cloud last year? I really need my old templates and custom brushes I made in illustrator. 

Buenas a todos,tengo una duda sobre un problema que me ha aparecido de la noche a la mañana.Antes había realizado otros logos en Illustrator pero de repente me encuentro que el ultimo de llos se me ve pixelizado (fuera del programa). Es decir, exporto el archivo a .PNG (o JPG) como de costumbre y al abrirlo y hacer zoom en un visor de imágenes u otro sitio se me ven los vectores pixelizados, cuando nunca me había ocurrido.He probado en distintos ordenadores pero en todos se ve pixelado, por lo que quiería saber (si fuese posible) si hay alguna solución o es problema del renderizado de programa o similar.Muchas gracias!

How do i change the text  "Lorem ipsum" in adobe illustaror, photoshop & indesign in imac.

Recently I've been getting the error message that the additional module IllutoqueueS4 has an error. Illustrator then starts normally.I have already repaired and reinstalled C++. The iColor plugin is not installed.I can't find Safe Mode. I have already deleted the profile settings.Windows 11 operating system has current updates.Illustrator version is 28.6. The problem also exists with version 28.5. I haven't gone any deeper yet.

hello, I was on illustrator clicking alot when it wasnt responding, then the screen turned black with blue dots. How do I get rid of this to see my artboards?

Hey, hoping someone here can help me out. I just switched to a new MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, and every time I try to save an Illustrator file to Adobe Cloud after editing, I get an error and it won’t let me save. My internet connection’s solid, the Mac is new, i have enough memory in the cloud, so I’m not sure what’s causing it… 

Just got my new MacBook Pro with the M3 Max chip and 128GB of RAM, but it's lagging like crazy—spinning beachball, slow selection, and a long delay between typing and seeing anything on screen. I’ve closed everything else and only have Illustrator open with a simple vector file and a bit of text. GPU Performance is on, so no clue what’s going wrong. On my old M2 with 64GB of RAM, I could have multiple files open and fly through projects no problem. Any ideas? Specs attached :     

Quick question - Ive paid for my account for the past 3 or 4 years but recently I have missed the last 4 months payment since Ive been out of work. Do I have to pay the last 4 months plus the current month to get access again, or will they let me just pay the current month? I have the Annual - Paid Monthly plan.

Hi All I foolishly reset my preferences  in Illustrator to try and get rid of a stroke scaling issue, and I've realised that my extensive list of starred / favourite fonts has disappeared. Is there any way to get them back? I've searched the web but I cant find anything concrete. Holding thumbs. Thanks in advance.
