Hi, I am completely new to Illustrator.  I have an object that used to be a .png file that i have vectorised and opened in Illustrator. I have added one object in Illustrator. The issue I have is the the color is slightly different from other objects. It sounds easy to change it... I have tried the eye dropper, and copied in the color I want. But it is still slightly different. I am going crazy... I have tried to attached the .ai dokument here, but it does not work... Can somebody help med fix the golf club handle of the left person to have same color as the rest of the outline of the body? I have attached a jpg with an arrow. I am sure you see if you open...  I am happy to email the .ai dokumet  Thank you for helping a beginner out. And please let me know what I have missed

Hello! I have Adobe Illustrator 2025 and I am exporting a PDF with a portrait layout as a DWG for Autocad. Opening the file in Autocad, I get a landscape layout. Here is a screengrab as I export the PDF in Illustrator. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you.

Hi, I've been having problems with Adobe Fonts in Illustrator for Windows. Over the last few weeks, it has been taking about 15 minutes to load all the fonts I installed from Adobe Fonts so they function properly in Illustrator. However, since last week, I haven't been able to make them work on my laptop—neither the fonts installed on my computer nor the ones from Adobe Fonts.I've already tried logging in and out, activating/deactivating the toggle in the Illustrator preferences panel and in Creative Cloud, rebooting my PC, installing and uninstalling both Illustrator and Creative Cloud. I also erase all Adobe files using the Cleaner Tool, but nothing works. Today I tried copying and pasting the font files directly into the Illustrator fonts folder on my PC, and that worked, but Adobe Fonts still don't work. The Fonts function works on another PC using the same account—though I don't usually use that PC, I just tried it to check—and it worked perfectly.Sorry if I misspelled anything; E

Dear Sir, I am having a problem with illustrator program on macOS computer. When the overprint panel is open, the program switches to CPU usage and runs extremely slowly. I am trying to switch to GPU option but it is not active. I hope I was able to explain my problem. I leave my system specs and application versions below. You can see the versions visually in the appendix. hello,    i’ve being asked by a printing house to send a large PDF file when the images in it opt to be embedded. how to i do it properly before closing file (or during working on it)?   i design it in illustrator.

Hi, I have set some text in Illustrator and used an isometric 3D effect, but when I zoom in there are extra lines/artfacts on the edges of the text. The render is set high and to vector, but the lines still appear can anyone help? Many thanks    

Hi. I am trying to create the attached file to a solid shape so that I cabn import it into After Effects and animate it via Trim Paths. However, I have tried everything but cannot get the path layers into one solid vector object. So, when it's imported into AE it doesn't animate as lines as it should, instead it warps into shapes. Can anyone assist?

Hello!I just updated my OS to Sequoia (15.3.2) and my Type Tool is wonky. I can create a text box, but I cannot click and make headline type. Please help! I feel like I'm having a Mandela Effect moment: "The Type Tool never did that. It only ever did boxes for text." Thanks in advance.JuliaG PS - Plenty of memory, everything up to date, but I've had some bluetooth issues with my MacStudio lately. comment supprimer ou réduire ce NOUVEAU filet plus épais sur le bord d'un plan de travail dans la derniere version ? On dirait qu'il y a un filet de 1 ou 2 pt noir maintenant, c'ets perturbant.

I would love to use some of thes step by step tutorials in illustrator for my students. Every time I try to access the tutorials they cant be found. Whats going on here? Is this a known issue? For example I will use this video link on adobe.  https://www.adobe.com/learn/illustrator/in-app/jump-into-color?learnIn=1 When I click on the link to begin the tutorial, I get this error. This is with any of the videos like this one from adobe.  

I am trying to recreate this spiral effect with these characters. I have watched countless YouTube videos and read hundreds of forums. When I use the "distort > transform" tool, it applies only indivdually and does not repeat as a group. Does anyone know the workaround to this?

I wonder if someone could help me understand the Color Settings and Adobe PDF Presets in Illustrator.I want to sell digital downloads of my art work that my clients can print at home or at a local print shop.All my art work is in vector, created in Illustrator and I mostly use CMYK colors. I want to offer PDFs and PNGs in high resolution to be printed in big sizes (if the clients wants to).I´m based in Sweden and I have always used Adobe RGB (1998) and Coated FOGRA39 in my Color Settings, but doing my research I realize that most of my clients will be in the US, where Coated GRACol 2006 or U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 seems to be the norm.I´m also thinking of using some of my designs for Print On Demand, and it seems they want Coated GRACol 2006 as well, and also PDF/X-4:2010.See images below for my current settings.Should I change FOGRA39 to Coated GRACol 2006 in my Color Settings?And what changes do I need to make when I save my art work to PDF, regarding PDF Standard, Com

Hola a todos. Cuando tenía Illustrator 2024, creabas un objeto y luego, podías seleccionarlo, se hacía un cuadro alrededor, y seleccionabas un punto de ese cuadro para hacerlo más grande. Ahora, con la de 2025, selecciones el objeto, pero solo te deja coger los vértices, y cuando intento hacerlo más grande se deforma el objeto. ¿Alguién más le pasa? Sabéis cómo solucionarlo. Es un comando básico, y sin eso no puedo seguir.

Does anybody else here compile plugins for older versions with macOS SDK 10.14 or 10.15 embedded in the Xcode app? All projects worked fine for me using Xcode 14 under Sonoma, but under Sequoia I have to use Xcode 16. It compiles perfectly for AI 26 and up, but for AI 25 I get an error that the include files exception and memory cannot be found. They are embedded in the SDK within the app here: Macintosh HD:Applications:Xcode.app:Contents:Developer:Platforms:MacOSX.platform:Developer:SDKs:MacOSX10.14.sdk:usr:include:c++:4.2.1:memory Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hello, been working on a script to make similar to InDesign grids for Illustrator.  Interface is self clear, detects the artboard you are on, you enter the parameters done. you can click the apply to all and then those settings go on all artboards. Then lets say you have a need for a different grid on a particlar artboard, well then you run it again, change the parameters, dont click apply to all and it should change just that artboardprevious versions i had did this, but the preview was not quite working, since fixing the preview I am now in a situation, where the guides are remove and never redrawn, and may margins layers are unlocked too This is the preview of the new layout I want  And when I hit okay this is what I get - pure blank. Interestingly, if I hit the x button for the script, it just saves the new layout... when it should cancel it.. but thats a fix i need to do.   Anyhow, this is not what is wanted, it be drawing out the new g

So I have a clip area. I selected some objects and made a clip group. I want to move objects within the group but not the mask, so I locked it. If I select the Clip Group in the Layers Panel and move it, only the unlocked layers move. Most of the time. If I happen to select an object in the clip group without selecting it in the layers panel, the entire group moves, which is not desired nor expected behavior- I've been masking for years and have never been able to move, much less select a locked layer.  Why is this even happening? What's the point of locking my mask if it's just going to move if I click on it with the Move Tool?

How do I change the "Create Trim Marks" tool to automatically make the line 1/4" and not 1/2"?I'm looking for a way to keep it automated and not have to go in and manually change them for each file.

Hey all, I was hoping to get some help with a project I have been stuck on for longer than Id like to admit. I tried gaussian blur to get this effect but it was mediocre at best. Does anyone know how or is willing to help create said image as a vector graphic?Any help is greatly appreciated! 

I'm the teacher for a high school graphic design class. I tried accessing the Hands On tutorials with my beginning design students and when we click the link from the Adobe Learn website, it says "Can't load content". Then it directs me to browse something else from the Discover window. They're not there either. Anyone know why?

Hello, previously the keyboard shotcut to increase or decrease leading worked fine (Alt+up/down). For a while, not only has it stopped working, but I can no longer find the place to change it in the menu of shotcut keyboards ... Does anyone have a solution? Thanks
