I think the app is crashing on my ipad air 4. I just installed it so I'm not sure if I have done anything wrong. As soon as I click the app it shows the logo then closes. I tried un-installing it but nothing changed. I have illustrator on desktop and that one opens fine, I thought it would be better to work on my ipad because my computer is old and it would be disappointing if it didn't work on another device as well. I have the crash report but I don't know who to send it to or how. Should I post it here? Is there anything else I should try?

Meu iPad fecha inesperadamente assim que abro o aplicativo illustrator. eu tenho um iPad Pro 11 pol de 4ª geração  eu já exclui o app e baixei novamente  já desloguei e loguei ate agora nenhum tópico eu consegui resolver ja faz um bom tempo que venho pagando e ele não funcioa

Works great when just fingers, but get the Apple Pencil anywhere near and crash! Brand new iPad and 2nd gen pencil. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I just downloaded illustrator and the app keeps crashing once I click on the file. It'll open the app, then allow me to click on the file that I'd like, but once it opens the file it shuts down the second I press a tool on the screen. I tried compressing the file and that didn't do much. At 318 kb it shouldn't be an issue right? Does anybody else have that problem? I'm also trying to work on construction blueprints, so maybe that helps. its on iPad Pro (6th gen)OS 17.1 and I already updated the app, so there aren't any other updates that I can see from the App Store. 

How do i find the graphic styles and appearance here ?

immer wenn ich meine Datei öffne, stürzt Illustrator ab:( ich habe auch schon mehrmals mein iPad neu gestartet und die App de und neuinstaliert. Ich weiß leider nicht mehr was ich machen soll und hoffe hier auf Hilfe 🙂

I dont have the + on the fonts column like the official guide on adobe shows. I tried to import it into adobe creative cloud but i cant install it into fonts. is there another way to add custom fonts into adobe?

The app crashes when I click on the panel with Apple Pencil, help!

  I was working on a drawing in illustrator in my iPad using the round brush in the brush tool, however, the brush tool is suddenly just allowing me to draw with a brush with edges. It ruined the whole drawing and where now it has spaces and spikes poking out. I posted photons of what the drawing and the brush now look like. How can I fix this asap?

I already downloaded, installed and logged in,  the app keep crashed. Can’t create any new canva. Even can’t open any AI file…….

my ipad is air3 and recently updated.It is not working. I can't open any file in the app. The file is fine, it works good at Mac.Open any file and ipad is loading but soon quit the app. what is the problem? I used it well before.

I'm a art/design teacher at a Public High school and I have been using adobe illustrator on Ipad with my students for a few years now and it has been very smooth. We have an enterprise account for each student. Students share Ipads but sign out of their adobe account at the end of each class saving their work on the cloud so that the next class can use them. Last week as students were logging into their account we noticed that Illustator for Ipad was not logging the student into their account but instead it logged them into the account of another student. We tried multiple times to log out of the account and then relogin but each time the app logged them into the same other student. Any ideas on why this has started to happen and how to fix it? Thanks in adance.  Bart Francis

I have an iPad Pro 12.9 5th generation, with OS 16.6.1, and an official Apple Pencil. In Ipad Illustrator I have Apple Pencil | Double-tap set to 'deselct object or path'. But it doesn't seem to work. For example, I'm drawing a path, and I'd like to stop the path (deselect the path, I presume), but double tapping the pencil just adds more points to my path. Thanks for your assist!

Hi,    I have purchased the app, it can only work right after I purchased but after that day I can't access to the app. It keep asking me to sign in and purchase again.Ps. my purchase will renew again on 26 September so it mean I paid for nothing right now because I can't use it at all.   Panita K   [personal information removed by moderator]

is there a way to toggle between the selection arrow and the pen tool? this is the main feature i use on the desktop, and would be extremely useful on the ipad (or it's there and i haven't found it). 

I can select and nudge options left and right but not up and down using a keyboard on the ipad. Those keys are responsive in other applications on the ipad.

How do I remove mirror repeat from an object?

My Illustrator for Ipad won't open. It is a 3rd Gen Ipad pro with IOS 17. Adobe have recommended that I downgrade to IOS 16. This seems like a bit of a faff and pre-supposes that IOS 17 is the issue. Does anyoe recognise this problem and was it solved by downgrading? Thanks.  

I made a colour palette of several colours in one document and saved each of them as swatches. But I don't see any option to save them so that when I open a new document I can continue to use them?  I can only use them on the document that I saved them on which is quite useless. How do I save them so that they appear on every new document that I create so that I can use them in multiple projects? is this possible? Thanks

Bonjour, Certaines illustrations n'ont plus de contour en mode Aperçu, et cela sans raison. Je n'avais pas encore exporter le fichier.Je ne peux les voir qu'en mode sélection et il est impossible de mettre un contour ou un fond. J'essaie de modifier en vain les options du contour mais les options de base n'apparaissent pas.J'ai lu dans certains forums que pour ce bug, il fallait modifier le mode CMJN en RVB mais cela ne fonctionne toujours pas.Savez-vous si Adobe a réparé ce bug?merci pour votre aide.  

Hallo zusammen ich arbeite nur noch am Ipad bin zwar noch nicht ganz zufrieden wollte heute etwas gestallten.Ich habe zwei .ai dateien von adobe stock gekauft kann diese aber nicht öffnen im illustrator warum geht das nicht?freue mich und bin dankbar auf unterstützung Liebe Grüsse Pascal

Bonjour, J'ai un abonnement illustrator sur ipad. J'ai réaliser un logo sur le logiciel et étant satisfaite du résultat j'ai voulu exporter mon travail pour pouvoir l'utiliser. Malheureusement une fois exporté, mon logo était pixelisé.La taille de mon document est de 800x800 mais je ne trouve pas le moyen de changer la résolution (actuelement en 72ppp).J'aimerais pouvoir changer la resolution de mon projet pour qu'il ne soit pas pixelisé lors de l'exportation, je souhaite utiliser mon logo pour de l'impression.Pouvez-vous m'aider?

Hi there To get straight to the point. I have created an Illustrator file on my iPad using the Illustrator app. It is saved inside the Cloud Documents. Now I wanted to open said file on my Macbook. However this error message keeps popping up:  "Can't open file. The account you signed in with doesn't have access to this file. Contact the owner for more information"  Well I am the owner of the file and I have no clue. So asking myself won't solve this problem. And YES I am signed into my own account on both devices (I only have one account). So I am very confused as to why I don't have access to my own files that are saved inside my own account?? Any help is much appreciated!

Illustrator doesn't work [profanity removed by moderator]. I EXPECT MORE FROM ADOBE! Zoom in and out doesn't work, pan doesn't work. See the video and the notice the ruler changes as I pinch in and out but the art doesn't zoom or move. This so ridiculous!
