 I'm doing a lot of work where I have 2 different edits for images and it takes forever to go back and copy the other edit and then have to go back again to copy different edit. I don't want to create a preset since the edits might just be for that specific day/time.

Les "modèles utilisateur" que j'ai créés apparaissent dans le panneau de gauche et dans l'aperçu en haut à gauche, mais ne sont pas visible dans la fenêtre principale (style de disposition : collection personnalisée) et donc, ne sont pas utilisables. De plus, le panneau de droite reste figé et ne permet pas de créer de nouveau modèles (p.ex. le sous-panneau "cellules" n'apparait pas).

Bonjour,J’ai des photos en double dans un dossier et les doublons ont “ 2.RAF” ajouté à la fin du nom ([espace]2). Hélas LR me sort tous les fichiers qui se terminent par “ 2.RAF” mais aussi ceux qui se terlminent par “2.RAF” (sans l’espace)… Comment contourner ce problème ?Je suis sur MAC.Merci

I run LrC on a Windows 11 computer with German as system language.From 15.5.1 on LrC does not show its UI after its launch after having changed the language in the Presets to English. It is only shown in the Windows Task Manager as Background Process.My test sequence:Today I updated LrC from 15.5.1 to 15.6: LrC showed its UI, the Presets switched the language to the system language, in my case German. I switched the language to English and clicked “Restart ...”. LrC restarted and no UI was shown, only as Background Process.Then I downgraded LrC from 15.6. to 15.5.1: exactly the same as aboveThe I updated LrC from 15.5.1 to 15.6 again and after launching it the UI is shown - in German.I’m afraid to change the language again.

A couple of months ago, I went to open a Lightroom Classic catalog, and it appeared to crash. The first Lightroom graphic appeared, but after a few minutes, the catalog didn’t open. At first, I force-quit and tried again. That didn’t help. Then I resorted to pulling an old catalog file from Time Machine, which worked initially but later failed the same way after closing the catalog and reopening. It wasn’t always immediate. Sometimes I could close the catalog and reopen it right away, and it would work, but eventually it failed the same way again.  I dug around in the Lightroom community and found many other people having similar issues, but most seemed to be using Windows 11. People said Lightroom would eventually open if you left it long enough. Several hours! I tried this and found that it was true. Hi Adobe Lightroom Classic team,I regularly shoot panoramas with the DJI Mavic 4 Pro using Free Panorama mode. In most cases, Lightroom Classic merges them perfectly, so this is not a general issue with DJI panoramas.However, I have encountered several specific panorama sets where Lightroom Classic is unable to create a panorama, while the exact same source files can be successfully stitched in other software, including Affinity Photo.From what I can see, the issue may occur more often with panoramas that contain a larger proportion of sky or less distinct detail in some parts of the frame, although I cannot say for certain that this is the cause.I would be very happy to provide the exact original image sets where Lightroom fails, together with examples of the successful stitched results from other software. Hi! Kind of a noob here, so please bear with me.   Problem: Today, while working in Lightroom Classic, I noticed that a bunch of my photos had an exclamation point icon added to them. See the image below. When I hover over the icon, it says "Error writing metadata" (pretty scary) Clicking the icon opens the window below. When I click "Import Setting from Disk" my adjustments seem to be cleared away (not great, lol).   When I click "Retry Metadata Export" that seems to fix the issue. The only problem is that there are thousands of photos that display that icon.   At first, I thought the issue was isolated to photos that I had made edits on, but upon further investigation, it seems that that is not the case.   Personal Investigation I'd Done: Naturally, I googled the issue but haven't found any definitive answers. We are working in LR Classic. Students were working on drives that were formatted to match their OS–Mac Extended Journaled for those on Macs using spinning drives, APFS for those on Macs using solid state external drives, and NTFS for those working on Windows. Many students were not able to copy or move files into their LR catalog upon import on both Macs and Windows–the external hard drive was not available–and showed up as red with a warning. Many of the students were not working with card readers.The workaround we came up with was moving the photos into the desired destination folder in the finder, and then trying to import by using the “add” function. However, for several students, the “add or move” function wasn’t available and only the “copy as a dng” or “copy” were, but not to the external drive. If I am running Aftershoot and editing in there no prob, same with PS.. but when LR is on for more than 10 it keeps selecting my 6 MONTH OLD SSD! I changed cables, slots, etc.. reverted back one version to see if it helps. I will be super upset if LR crashes my external… I clearly need to do a backup

my windows 11 desktop with LRC 15.6 is useless. NOT RESPONDING. Crashes no matter what-can’t open catalog. I get NOT RESPONDING NO MATTER WHAT I DO.  MY LAPTOP with 15.5.` LRC still works. WHEN CAN I EXPECT A STABLE 15.6??????????????????

When you select to auto mask the sky, you can darken the sky using exposure. Sometimes the sky is still blown out. A quick “auto fill” sky button would be amazing. AI would use the same sky color that is available elsewhere in the photo, or, you could set the color using a color selector- or just tell it “daytime” or “sunset”. It would work for blown out skies out windows as well for indoor shots. You can get this effect using other features, but this would make it fast and easy in Lightroom. When pulling exposure down on the sky on a JPG image, sometimes you get bars of choppy color gradient. There could be a “auto smooth” sky option to make the sky and fix the choppy bar gradient.   

I just upgraded to the latest version of Lightroom. Now I cannot see or access any of the photos in my catalog. When the catalog is loaded on LR Classic it says there are “0” photos.

A too large number of files imported into LRc are grey-ed out with the message that preview could not be created .A significant number of them are of images of documents.  So, I considered that as a source of the problem,but I have plenty of other documents imported into LR and the preveiw process worked as advertised.I tried importing just the problem images (the previous import were part of a bunch of images importedat the sae time. Still could not get previews.  I tried forcing the ffiles to convert using "Build Previews"  No luck there. Could not find a solution in the posts. I did not start deleting catalogs and then re-importing the files as someone on another post suggested (!?)  Do you have anything to suggest I should consider doing to correct this?I am running an Apple M3 with whatever is the latest and greatest OS.  All images are Tiff.Thanks in advance for any help you can spare.

Since a few weeks, my Lightroom Classic (15.3.1 release on macOS Tahoe 26.5.1) gets stuck or stops responding on simple tasks like:Building standard or 1:1 previews (it gets stuck on ‘Building previews: 3 of …’ but never actually creates one preview) Photo Merge (HDR, Panorama or HDR-Panorama, here the cursor immediately starts spinning and the merge preview does not even pop up) Importing (I can select a source (for example an SD card) but it gets stuck on Checking for duplicates, even when I turn off 'Don't import suspected duplicates’) Exporting (in export I can select all the settings and hit Export but the progress bar remains stuck at zero.I have to use Force Quit to quit Lightroom when it’s not responding.This happens 9 out of 10 times I open up Lightroom, the occasional 1 time everything works fine and I can go on for hours merging huge panoramas or building previews of 100s of photos without problems. I am unable to export my catalog from my travel laptop.  It hangs partway through.  I’ve tried moving the location to a different place on the HD and reimporting.  I’ve tried exporting to a variety of places, both internal and external. I have been trying to resolve an issue with several Lightroom 2 TB redemption codes through Adobe Support since July 2026. Despite multiple support cases and escalations, there is still no working solution.The problem itself is actually quite simple:I had an older Lightroom 2 TB redemption code, which I redeemed first. This activated a Lightroom subscription.I then purchased two additional Lightroom 2 TB redemption codes. Naturally, I expected these codes to extend the duration of my existing Lightroom subscription.Instead, the two new codes created a second, separate Lightroom subscription with a two-year term.So I now have two Lightroom 2 TB subscriptions running in parallel, even though all I wanted to do was extend the duration of my existing subscription.My specific question to the community, and especially to Adobe, is:How can the subscription periods from the two newer redemption codes be combined with the Lightroom subscription activated by the older code, so that I end up with

I’m experiencing a recurring issue in Lightroom Classic where photos temporarily disappear from filtered results and Develop loses the selected photo.My normal workflow is to cull and edit using star ratings and the star-rating filter. For example, I have a photo that is definitely rated 5 stars and edited. When I filter to show my rated/5-star images, Lightroom sometimes says there are no photos matching the filter, even though the image is still in the catalog and still has the 5-star rating.If I close Lightroom Classic and reopen it, the missing photo reappears in the catalog and shows the correct 5-star rating again.I’m also seeing a second issue in the Develop module: I can select a photo normally, but when I click a preset or try to make an adjustment, Lightroom will suddenly switch to “No photo selected.” Restarting Lightroom may temporarily resolve this as well.I have already tested turning the GPU off, but the issue has still occurred.This is especially disruptive because I ph

When I open Lightroom, I only see gray boxes in the Library, and my thumbnails don't appear. I have the same problem when I try to import photos. I can see the photos in the Develop module, though. I've already adjusted the color profile, but it didn't help.
