I had a photo that I edited in Topaz Denoise and then wanted to compare it if I used the LRC Denoise function.  When I did this the result appeared at the end of my grid of photos.  I liked the LRC version better  but when I tried to move it to a different location I was not able to do anything.  In fact I am not able to move any of the photos now.  I am in Custom Order so can you tell me what I need to do in order to move my photos around?

I am getting an error message trying to import anything into Lightroom Classic.  AgPathUtils.getStandardFilePath: can't create directory at: /Users/rebeccagrennan/Movies. Error message = %@   I think it is due to an issue I am having with my computer but can anyone tell me how to change where it wants to create the directory? I believe that will solve my issue so I can work for my clients. Thank you. Beck

I have most of my photo's on a extern HD.Every year in a different map and a catalogue for each year.In lightroom there are the maps of each year but map 2023 is missing.But when I see in finder on my macbook ,the map 2023 is together with the other years.!How can I see my photo's of 2023 in lightroom?  

My creative cloud has never updated any apps, I always have to uninstall and re-install the newest verison. All my apps say "up to date" in the Creative Cloud app but they are aren't. I'm on a Macbook Pro running Ventura 13 but this has been an issue across all Mac OS updates. I have tried deleting the AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat file which i read about in another thread but it hasn't done anything. In the same folder is a file named aamul.log and when opened this is the latest addition (alongside some dates and times which i have removed) -  Loaded at startup/logon.UpdaterIsNotEnabled.WARNING - Updater is NOT enabled.Updater has never been run on the machine.Window is NOT Elapsed. How do i get Adobe Updater to run? How do I enable Adobe Updater?  Why has it never been run on the machine? Please help, I'm at the end of my tether with Adobe CC right now...

Since I upgraded LrC from 13.2 to 13.3 it becomes extremely slow when zooming in and out of an image. Sometimes it hangs for up to 30s. LrC 13.2 was extremely fast and not buggy at all.   I use LrC on an asus Z13 with i9 and RTX 3050 Ti. LrC is using the RTX card and not the Intel.

When exporting files from Lightroom Classic with File Naming: "Custom Name - Sequence" and File Settings: "Original" - to save the original raw files with XMP sidecar - if there is a DNG file it names it consecutively. Is there a way to have the DNG file have the same sequence # as the raw/XMP files that it matches? I'd like to keep the raw files, as well as the DNG so we have the original without any AI denoising, but right now, it seems like the only way to do so in an export is to ensure the DNG isn't stacked, and they will be named consecutively rather than the same number. I don't want them to be renamed beforehand, as I am making the selection for images to keep, and would like the selected images to have consecutive numbering (and then would then be dealing with this bug with DNG numbering if I named/numbered in advance anyway). Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 / Camera Raw 16.3.1macOS Sonoma 14.5

Lightroom Classic does not seem to update to the latest version 10.2 and Camera RAW 13.2. I'm trying to load my Sony Alpha 1 RAW files into Lightroom, but need that version to do so.Any suggestions?

Hi all,  I have read a few threads about this specific problem and have found success with none of them.  I have recently started to create presets to help speed up my workflow and noticed that whenever I go to create a preset, the "New Develop Preset" window is too large meaning that I cannot click to save the preset at the bottom of the window - please see below image as an example.  So far my workaround has been to set the task bar to the right-hand side to save the preset then reposition it to the bottom again where I like it.  I have tried all the "tricks" in the compatibility tab for the Lightroom Classic application file and have found none of them to work.  I am currently using Lightroom on a Dell XPS 13 and my resolution settings are 3200x1800 and scaling is 250%, both of these settings are what Windows 10 recommends. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, Antonio

LrC 13.3.1macOS Sonoma 14.5Problem: Develop Module - Healing Brush Tool (Q):The Visualize Spots checkbox in the Toolbar below the photo that I'm editing has disappeared!Of course, pressing the A key allows me to Visualize Spots BUT the Slider that reveals more dust spots (when moving Slider to the right) or less dust spots when moving Slider to the left is NO LONGER THERE! The only Sliders visible in the Toolbar below the photo are Zoom and Show Grid.I have checked this on both my Macs, both are on latest LrC version and the same issue is on both machines.  

Bonjour, En traitant un portrait dans des lumières sombres, je me suis rendu compte d'une différence d'affichage entre le module développement et le module bibliotheque. L'affichage dans la bibliotheque est moins sombre, plus blanc que ce que j'ai fais en développement. Alors que je n'ai jamais constaté cela avant.Cette différence me dérange fortement pour visualiser les photos. Je précise que l'écran est calibré avec un spyderx. Comment puis je faire pour retrouver un affichaque plus proche ?  Merci par avance 

Lightroom is not importing all the images from a CFexpress card. Screen says Could not copy a file to the destination folder because it is not writable or there is not enough space. There is plenty of space on the computer. Any help be appreciated.

I've tried upgrading to Lightroom Classic 13.3 from 13.2 and had to downgrade twice because each time I try to export images it just kind of freezes. I'll wait for a couple of minutes and it does nothing, but im still able to exit the app.    I've tried exporting from my Macs SSD and external hard drives and I have the same issue. When I downgrade to 13.2 the issue goes away, so obviously there is a bug in 13.3 Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a work around? Thank you!

I can’t delete any video files within Lightroom. When I want to delete video from Lightroom Catalog, it says: ‘The file named ……. could not be moved to the Recycle Bin.’There must be a bug surely?

Hi, Can anyone help?? When editing images that have been taken with my Sigma 150-600 lens and I use the lens correction tool in Lightroom Classic I am always confronted with a tick marker against a different Sigma lens.  I then have to scroll down to find the lens I am using.  As I only have one Sigma lens I find this extremely frustrating especially when trying to process large numbers of images.   Does anyone know how I can alter my preferred lens in the list, please?  

I recently updated my Lightroom Classic to the most recent version on my computer. The next time I tried to pull it up, nothing happens. It will not open and an odd LRCat file is in one of my regular folder where I would have saved the images from my edits and it shows in black on my desktop. .  I tried multiple things, unistalled and reinstalled. Nothing happened and it won't open. I restored an old version and it still won't open up. I'm at a total loss of what to do and have two sessions due today, Any idea whats going on?

I struggled with the crop aspect ratio drop down and the padlock but now knowing they aren't connected I would now like to suggest it to be. I mostly want the same aspect ratio on all my crops and I want the crop frame to default to my aspect ratio instead of starting on full image size. Maybe this requires a new button below "original" (aspect ratio) that means "lock default crop aspect ratio from now an until I change it". And when choosing the crop tool (r) should show the crop frame  by default but on top of the full image. I'm also missing the old possibility of starting a crop (any aspect ratio choosed) from zero. Just put the cursor on the image and drag. This will be a far quicker way instead of chasing the corners on the crop area grid. And I don't like that you have to slide the image inside of the crop. It's backwards. I want to slide the crop frame over the image.  

I am running Windows 10 and updated to Lightroom Classic 9. Every time I open lightroom I get the message that Lightroom wants to update my catalog. I have gone to preferences and tried the option to open the latest catalog and that did not work, I tried pointing to the correct catalog and used the checkbox to always use this catalog and that did not work. I also get the splash screen every time I open lightroom welcoming me to a new version both are very annoying. please help!!

Hello everyone, i used Cloud based Lr for 2 years and all my fav presets are in it. Since the performance of that LR on my iMac was poor i switched to Lr Classic. However, i can not figure how to transfer presets if that is even doable? Generally speaking, how do i download presets from Adobe Community at all? 

Hello,I encounter sometimes (too often) a very strong and blinding pure yellow box as the image is redisplayed after some operations like Before/after (Y) or a crop.So quick that a screen capture is quite difficult to achieve.Maybe it is related to the MacOS version: Macbook pro M1, OS: 14.4.1Is there any feedback on this? It is rather anoying.Thank you

 I started cloning two external seagate drives to store all my RAW files and keep a backup. The drives also have my LR catalog. It's made organzing the images much easier and and I'm able to keep my internal stoarge on mbp freed up. However, It's a bit cumbersome to have a laptop but need to plug in the external drive anytime I want to edit. Kinda defeats the point of the laptop in the first place bc I don't want to risk damaging the delicate external hd toting it around to coffee shops or even to my couch. Anywhere but my desk feels like a risk since i've learned my lesson in the past over having a dropped external drive. Not only that, Since they are powered and I am working all day on the computer it feels like it could easily fail by just being overworked and powering the catalog. Now that external ssd are getting cheaper (esp. since i buy them in pairs) I am thinking when these two fill up I will move over to ssd. But I also started thinking, does everyone plug

Hi, I just installed Lightroom Classic 13.3.1 on my laptop (OS Windows 11) and I cannot get access to my local adjustment brushes.  I added the brushes by going to Preferences>Presets>Show All Other Lightroom Presets>Lightroom>Local Adjustment Presets.  I dragged and dropped my brushes (.lrtemplate files) to the Local Adjustment Presets folder.  I then restarted LrC, went to my masks, clicked the brush tool and there is no pop menu to select my saved local adjustment brushes.   On the Preferences>Preset page I tried a variety of clicking and unclicking different boxes for “Show Partially Compatible Develop Presets” and “Store presets with this catalog.”  I’d click the or unclick the boxes, restart LrC and nothing changed.  Another weird thing is my Preferences>Presets page isn’t fully visible.  Near the end of the page where I should see buttons to restore different options, but the page cuts off where the Restore Loca

Hallo,Ich nutze Lightroom Classic für meine Bildbearbeitung und im Nachgang Photoshop. So sind meine Arbeitswege.Im Herbst habe ich mir einen neuen Rechner zugelegt. Leider gibt es seit längerer Zeit Probleme zwischen LrC und meiner Grafikkarte, zumindestens vermute ich das aktuell. Wenn ich den Grafikprozessor auf automatisch oder auf benutzerdefiniert einstelle, stürzt mir LrC ab und das bei minimalsten Anforderungen. Es stockt, regler sind kaum noch zu betätigen bis es dann komplett abschmiert. Schalte ich die Verwendung vom Grafikprozessor aus, funktioniert alles einwandfrei.In Photoshop habe ich alles auf höchstleistungen laufen und ich habe Null probleme.Hier meine PC Daten:Prozessor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core Processor, 4.20 GHzArbeitsspeicher: 32 GBGrafikkarten: 24GB XFX Radeon RX 7900 XTXAlle Programme sind aktuell, ebenso alle Treiber.Ich bin ziemlich verzweifelt, da ich mit meinem Leienwissen eigentlich der Meinung bin, dass mein Rechner das locker schaffen müsste.Liebe Grü

Since uploading LRc 13.3, the app always presents the same image in Library fit mode.  The image is one that was edited several days ago and never changes, even though I've edited hundreds of images before.  Previous behavior was to open in Grid view in the last folder or collection I was editing.  How can I fix this. Windows 11 Home 23H2Build 22631.3672

Hi, I recently updated my Lightroom Classic to version 13.3.1. When I updated I lost all of my presets, so I immediately uninstalled the version and reinstalled the old. Later that day, my computer died and did not back up my catalog. Now my presets are gone everywhere. I reinstalled version 13.3.1 trying to see if they would reappear. I have the show partially compatible presets checked and looked through every folder. Any suggestions? Thank you!
