Hi, I'm new to Ps, and the magic eraser tool hasn’t shown up for me in the app. I can see it in the web version, though. I’ve checked the Extra Tools section and also reset the Essential Workflow, but neither of these helped.  Any suggestions? Hi guys,   I saved PSB like 2 hours ago at work, tried to open it now at home and i got a message that its not compatible with this version of Photoshop (its the same version, same computer, same file location). This happened several times already and i have to say im starting to get fairly irritated and paranoid about reliability of this program.   Anyone has any ideas how to open the file? i have previous versions that work fine but it will set me back several hours of work, and as we all know the first good result can never be replicated the same. The PSB has around 8GB but i made sure it saved and i didnt fiddle around with anything while it was saving.     MacOS 14.5 M1 Max 64GB / Photoshop 25.12.0 20240903.r.806 055f5e9 arm64     so...this is why i pay $700 per year? But at least we can AI generate [cursing removed] flowers right?

I'm using the brush and that is happening. Idk how can i solve it, it never happened when i was using the Photoshop on windows.

Hello Experts!I posted a few days ago that my Object Removal tool isn’t working properly. Sometimes it works fine, but other times it gets stuck. When I turn off AI mode, it works for a few tries, then the same issue comes back. If I reset the tool, it works for a while again. This problem never happened before, and it’s driving me crazy when I’m working on projects that need to be delivered on time.Another tool I love is Dust Removal. But why isn’t it available in LrC? Also, there’s no way to use it in batch. I tried using it in Bridge, but when exporting, some files don’t apply the effect after export. I really wish it was in LrC or at least had a batch-processing option.And finally, the latest LrC keeps fetching files for a long time and takes extra time when exporting. I honestly don’t know what to do. I know I could downgrade LrC and solve the problem, but Denoise is very important for me. I have created a new file, the only one open, and when I added a photo to the file, 'ghost' images from closed files show up. Before creating the file, I had opened another file and noticed that there were two large patches of red and blue on the screen. I closed that file since it seemed to be affecting my computer memory (not sure really what was going on, but there was a problem). Now I get this image. The two images I notice are a photo of my front door I had edited and another graphics file I created. The new file is 3000px x 2250px, RGB, 8 bits, transparent background. My RAM is good: 25040 MB and ideal range says 13772-18028, with photoshop using 70%. I am on a Windows 11 64 bit PC (V. 24H2, OS build 26100.4946) running Photoshop 26.10.0 CC. My graphics card is working right and no issues: Pass: DirectX available Pass: DirectX feature level 12.2 available, feature level 12.0 required Pass: Above required VRAM (12115 MB of 1500 MB required) GPU Detected:

Bonjour,Je suis confrontée à un problème survenu d'un coup. Lorsque je lance Photoshop, il s'ouvre en arrière-plan (visible dans le gestoinnaire des tâches) mais l'application n'est pas accessible.J'ai redémarré lo'rdi, vidé le cache, désinstallé Photoshop et réinstalle Photoshop en le mettant à jour. Hi,I am having issues with the cloud not syncing on photohop on ipad, I have tried logging out on both ipad and windows desktop photoshop, creative clouds, and reinstalling but have had no luck trying to fix it. Is it affecting the syncing of shared files too? Because I'm working on a shared file with a friend and their latest changes isn't syncing to my file. Not really sure what to do here, tried finding an adobe support email wihout luck so I thought to try the community. Thanks so much!

HDR was never to my liking as too much AI effect but now I've been awakened by accidentally touching the HDR button in Photoshop on this image... Wow, it fits! And heres my two questions: 1.) a message comes on screen saying I do not have my HDR display settings enabled in preferenes, I do not want to mess with how it already looks so what and where are these 'settings' and should I even touch them if I'm already happy? And 2.) I cannot use generative expand on this image in Photoshop, so I made a screen shot to get the expanded left side of the image I wanted and that worked. Why does generative Expand or Fill not work on this HDR image and how can I 'fix it' so that it works like a normal Photoshop image file?TIA,  Ken

For several days I have had problems with Photoshop beta, I had to install the normal Photoshop since the beta stopped working, I open the program and it closes instantly, I updated to the latest driver and it worked for a while, then it stopped working, the normal version of Photoshop works normally, but the truth is I want to use Photoshop beta to access all the new tools that are not in normal Photoshop I don't think it's due to computer problems. I can't seem to turn off Feathering (not that I recall turning it on) and now I can't cleanly fill a selection even when the feather value is set to zero. Is this a bug, or did photoshop auto-update and change something while I wasn't looking?

My Generative Fill suddenly stopped working since yesterday. 26.10 version has this bug, but 25 works well. Is a solution to this problem expected?

Clipping mask issues Good evening redditors. I'm currently in the process of making a dragon for a quick turnaround shirt, and I have text and I'm placing high res pics on text. When I right click and select clipping mask, the letter I'm trying to clip the pick into, is the only thing visible. The picture that I placed, disappears?  Would someone please help.  Thanks

I downloaded only 3 photos with PS with my student account, and suddenly it says that it's for an upgraded plan. Also, when I try to change the file from a PSDC to PNG., with Save As, there is no file type drop down menu. There is only one window to enter the project name.  

Every thread that I have followed leads to these fora.  Having posted the problem and gotten no response, I followed as many leads as I could and wound up back in these fora again.  I have a repeatable problem that will crash Photoshop CC 2015.5 every time.  Always.  It spends 5 minutes going through the crash sequence and sends some stuff off to Apple.  Maybe next time I'll capture the traffic to figure out what it is sending.  Meanwhile, I have a repeatable bug.  I do not have a ready way around the problem.  Does Adobe have any interest at all in fixing it?  If not, why am I paying for the CC subscription?  Maybe the non-subscription is better -- I won't have delusions of support.  (Yes, after almost a week without response, I am getting cranky.)

Hi, I am urgently reporting a very inconvenient issue with Photoshop’s current brush size-saving system, and I’m asking for a fix. I love Photoshop and want to continue using it, but the lack of a per-brush size memory feature makes it very stressful to work with. Other art programs such as Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Krita, and Blender’s Grease Pencil already include this feature, which makes the workflow far more intuitive. Here’s what I need Photoshop to do: Each brush should remember its own last-used size independently, rather than all brushes sharing one size. The current problem:If I use Brush A at size 20, then switch to Brush B at size 5, returning to Brush A resets its size—it doesn’t remember I last used it at 20. Even with the "Capture Brush Size in Preset" option unchecked, all brushes just share the most recent size. This makes it impossible to keep track of the sizes I set for different brushes. I have had this issue for the past two major PS updates. I am unable to import or place video files in PS anymore. I am currently on PS version 21.0.1 now with the issue still not resolved for me.   Before this last update, I even had an Adobe tech support agent remote in and he could not solve the issue and told me that, "they were able to reproduce the issue, and that we are working on the fix and the issue would be resolved in the next update".   I have "literally" pretty much gone down every road imaginable. All except wiping my Mac and starting from scratch. I have installed and reinstalled PS several times. I have deleted preferences from everywhere that they can hide. But as I have to perform graphics work for me as well as for my clients. I am using Adobe photoshop CS 5 for graphics creation. But the problem is coming in my work is as I have to merge two layers available in the same section, I can't do that. And it's affecting my work too. So please provide me a solution for this problem. Ao abrir um arquivo .psd me retorna um erro, dizendo que não é possível abrir o arquivo. Primeiro me aconteceu com um arquivo que havia criado a cerca de um mês, pensei que fosse questão de compatibilidade com versão mais recente, coisa que por si já achei um absurdo. Então criei um nvo projeto, fazendo tudo novamente, aí no outro dia fui abrir novamente o arquivo para concuir o trabalho e deu erro novamente, só que dessa vez dizendo que não podia abrir por erro de "fim de arquivo". Detalhe, o Photoshop não foi fechado de forma inesperada. Salvei o arquivo e depois de salvo fechei o arquivo pra depois finalizar o photoshop.Dessa forma está impossível trabalhar. Preciso de uma solução.
