I am running the latest Mac version of Photoshop (27.10) in MacOS Tahoe, yet every time I restart my computer I get a message that Intel apps will no longer be supported in MacOS27 Golden Gate and certain features of Photoshop 26 will no longer work in that version of the OS. Several months ago I reinstalled PS and was very careful to download the version for Apple CPUs.I don’t understand why I continue to get this message. I hope it is just useless crud left behind from previous installs of PS and will have no effect on my work. Please advise.Charlie

Creating a line or shape with one of the shape tools does not show the stroke, fill, line weight, etc. properties for that object so that one or more of the properties can be changed. These may (though it seems inconsistently) appear when the shape is first created, but do not appear in the Properties panel for subsequent editing.Note: the only properties displayed and editable are the Transform properties.

Hello, I am experiencing a very annoying colour shift in my photos after Airdropping them from my Apple Macbook (Air 2023) to my Apple Iphone 14 Pro. After playing around it seems there is a colour tint shift towards a green tint. Adding some Magenta back into the image using the in-Iphone Image Editor brings it someway back but its still not perfect. There could be slight shift in White Balance too. To be specific I am working with 16-Bit files in Photoshop on Macbook Air with colour profile: LCD. I am exporting at PNG24 or JPEG 100% (Tried both) with both colour space settings "Convert to SRGB" and "Embed Colour Profile" ticked. Airdropping to Iphone 14 Pro. On both Mac and Iphone I have True Tone and Auto-Brightness turned off. Thinking its an export or colour space issue i tried searching online and found to my amazement this topic has been raised hundreds of times across various platforms (Apple Community, Adobe Community, Photoshop Community) yet no commu

Hello, I am experiencing a critical issue with my new Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (2026) equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 (8GB).The Problem: When using the laptop screen in "Hybrid Mode", Photoshop fails to detect the GPU (shows 0 MB VRAM). This is random: sometimes it happens, and sometimes it doesn't.. Even worse, moving panels or windows causes a permanent Black Screen that forces me to manually restart the computer.Important Observations: External Display works: If I move the Photoshop window to my external tablet (Huion), the flickering and black screens disappear. The issue seems tied to the laptop's internal display/Hybrid management. Legacy Mode: The only way to prevent the crash without restarting is checking "Use Older GPU Mode" in Preferences, but performance is terrible. The only real fix: Switching the entire laptop to "dGPU Only" (Discrete Graphics) mode via Lenovo Legion Space. Hello allMy 3D toolbar and 3D workspace completely disappeared from Photoshop. I'm using version CC (25.4). Reinstalling didn't help. Updating all drivers didn't help. Switching to better monitor display didn't help. This wasn't a problem a month ago. I also get this message when I try to make a 3D normal map:  Note: "Use Graphic Processor" is enabled. The driver is also working correctly (confirmed by NVIDIA, Windows and additional plugins).  Please help 😞

I installed Photoshop CS-6 (stand alone purchase) on new computer but when I open the program I get an activation limit reached message. When I check my Adobe account it says that no devices are activated. I did deactivate Photoshop on my previous computer but I still get the same activation limit reached message. How do I resolve this?

Ever since I got a new M5 MacBook Pro Photoshop either freezes on launch or locks up just as it finishes launching. It's unusable. All I can do is force-quit. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app (twice) and renamed the prefs folder so it would generate a new one but nothing works.

I never want the remove tool to sample all layers. I turn it off but somehow it keeps toggling back to active. Not often, just occasioanlly. Is this intended behavior? Earlier iterations had this as “sticky.” My hope is that it would remain “sticky” as the clone tool and healing tool are. I often get confusing and unsatisfying results until I realize this has popped on again.

Photoshop works fine for a little bit (less then an hour), but eventually it starts lagging and then freezes. I've spent the past month trying everything I can think of to fix this, but nothing has worked.Here's what I've tried: Windows Graphics Settings: Set Photoshop to use the NVIDIA GPU. NVIDIA Control Panel: Set Photoshop to use the NVIDIA GPU here as well. Uninstalling bloatware: Removed McAfee, AI-related apps, and other unnecessary software. Lenovo Vantage: Ran the built-in diagnostics for the CPU, GPU, fans, and other hardware. No issues were found. Photoshop Performance Settings: Tried different settings, including reducing History States to 20, adjusting cache settings, allowing 70% to 90% RAM usage, and enabling the Graphics Processor and Multithreaded Compositing. I've also followed the troubleshooting steps shown in videos like the one linked, but nothing has helped. I'm stumped. My older desktop PC handles Photoshop just fine, yet my much newer laptop struggles w

Photoshop decided as of last month to constantly create a “Listener.log” file on my desktop everytime I open the program (im running MacOS Ventura). I have never installed a ScriptListener plugin, my plugins folder is empty, the Presets > Scripts folder has nothing but the standard packaged stuff so I have no idea where this is happening. Searching my entire mac for “Listener” or “ScriptListener” brings up nothing also.I have no idea why this is happening but it’s a little creepy to see a file called “Listener.log” appear on your desktop for no good reason every time you use the program. Any help appreciated.

Photoshop does not exactly freeze, but goes into some mode where it is polling something.  It takes seconds to bring up any menu item.  I can only get to Preferences by clicking on Edit then move the cursor out of the window.  I have clicked off all the Advances buttons, OpenCL and Composting, but if I leave the use GPU on it goes into super slow mode, unusable.  I have tried both the Studio Developer and the latest gaming drivers.  The Help shows no issue with the GPU.  I see only the Nvidia 1050 ti  card and no other cards.  This is for a new LG 3840 x 2160 monitor.System software is up to date, ran DISM and scf to make sure the sofware is aligned, no issues.Any idea?  Been in touch with card manufacturer, they do not know.

Ich kann meine CS 6 Lizenz nicht mehr auf einen zweiten Rechner installieren, da angeblich CS6 schon auf 2 Rechnern läuft. Momentan läuft CS6 nur noch auf einem Rechner, auf dem anderen wurde CS6 komplett deinstalliert und bei der Neuinstallation sagt Adobe das die Seriennummer schon zweimal vergeben wäre. Gibt es da eventuell Hilfestellung- Vielen Dank!

Is there no way to efficiently back up preferences, tools etc. instead of having to start all over again after being forced to - yet again - reset PS settings?Do I have to dig through all sorts of folders an back the up externally every time I make a change because this preferences issue STILL doesn’t work properly? 

I’m experiencing an intermittent issue with the temporary Zoom Tool in Photoshop 2026 (27.11.0) on macOS.Normally, holding Command + Space and right-clicking on the canvas brings up the Zoom Tool context menu, with options such as Fit on Screen, 100%, 200%, Print Size, Zoom In, and Zoom Out.However, in newer versions of Photoshop, the same action frequently brings up a layer-related context menu (e.g., Background / Isolate Layers) instead of the Zoom menu.Details:Pressing Z to activate the Zoom Tool and then right-clicking works correctly every time. Holding Command + Space correctly changes the cursor to the magnifying glass. However, right-clicking while holding these keys usually displays the wrong context menu. Occasionally, the correct Zoom menu appears, but the issue returns. The issue occurs regardless of which tool is currently selected. This behavior works correctly in Photoshop 27.5.0 but is inconsistent in the newer versions I’ve tested.I’ve been using Photoshop professional

Everything is up to date, but suddenly whenever I try to open image in PS it opens in Camera Raw, I've tried all of the suggestions online but nothing works. Driving me crazy!

Hi everyone, I am doing WPAP using Photoshop 2020.How do I create color mixing like attached image in Photoshop 2020?For example, first I create the yellow circle, next I create blue circle.How do I make so that the intersection of these two circles become the mixing of these two colors, which is green? Please advance and explain. Thank you  

Is this something new in Photoshop 27.11? After quitting Photoshop I can see that it is not closed. If I go to the dock on my Mac desktop, ‘Quit’ is not an option but ‘Photoshop is running in the background’ is.Is this something new? Can I turn this off permanently so that Photoshop quits when I want it to? Thanks for your help.

When I contacted support, I was advised to cancel the subscription I’ve held for years in order to get a better price, as they claimed there was nothing else they could do. I was extremely disappointed by this approach from Adobe toward a customer; I had always received prompt assistance in the past, but that was not the case this time.

How do I create a pattern that repeats but not on a grid? I want the pattern to repeat at a 45% angle more or less, and with some overlapping elements. Pattern preview is great but things just repeat in boxes on top of each other. Thanks!

Generative Fill / Expand does not work in Photoshop 27.10.0. Generative Fill either fails with an error or remains stuck on “Generating…” indefinitely.The exact same computer, Adobe account, network connection and files work correctly when using the previous Photoshop version.I tested Firefly Fill & Expand, Firefly Image 1 and Firefly Image 5. All of them fail or remain stuck in Photoshop 27.10.0.Adobe Firefly in the browser works correctly.After reverting to the previous Photoshop version, Generative Fill / Expand immediately works again.This strongly suggests a regression in Photoshop 27.10.0 rather than an account, network or document issue.
