Photoshop display doesn't show lines during drawing. I'm going to cancel my creative cliud subscription if this can't be fixed. Screen recordings enclosed. Why there’s no customer service?

There was a similar (solved) post six months ago, but it provided direct links for the Mac version.https://prodesigntools.com/community/questions-712/photoshop-12-0-4-update-for-photoshop-cs5-there-was-an-error-downloading-this-update-1183081 I’m hoping for the same for Photoshop CS5 Windows x64.I have both the download link and the original discs (with serial numbers) for Production Premium CS5.  They work great, except I get this from the Adobe Application Manager when I attempt to update to Photoshop CS5 12.0.4: “There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later.”Same result for Illustrator, Camera Raw, and Bridge updates.  Is there any way to get the update links for the CS5 Windows version?

I am trying to create a paper cutout effect in Photoshop. I use the polygon lasso tool and and click the layer mask button and nothing happens at all. It creates a mask but does not "remove" all the layers underneath it making it impossible to use? im not sure how to provide a video because im not sure where to post it.

I don’t think the rotate object feature is working correctly on my pc. I have Intel Arc graphics, and here’s an example of the results I’m getting when I test this with some stock images. Source images before rotationImage I’m trying to rotateAs you can see, after it processes the image to prepare for rotation, I just get a jumbled mess. I’ve tried this with a couple of different images and get the same type of result no matter what. I also made sure the images are 8 bit RGB as I saw those being requirements for the feature. I’m just wondering if this is a problem with my machine or an actual bug in the software.

Will Adobe ever smarten up and make Content Credentials optional - or at least fix it so that it actually WORKS? I created a piece of digital art and PS insists on labelling it as “AI-generated.” Now, I’m all for awareness of AI slop in cultural artefacts, BUT….PS is also stating that it was created with Adobe Firefly, which it was NOT (I refuse to use Firefly for ethical reasons).The art in question was created using a mockup that employs Smart Objects. That’s it. No fabricated unicorn-centaur hybrids riding a chariot into the night sky against the moon or any crap like that.Is Adobe AT LEAST going to fix this kind of thing so that it’s not misrepresenting my work to the world? 

Opening Bridge (the latest v.) resulted in old workspaces (MBP Pro M2). Restore of SavedWorkspaces from a TM Bup didn’t help. ChatGPT’s advices didn’t work. What can I do?

I must be missing something, but i don’t see the Filter Gallery Color Picker for any filter as described here under Editing tools:https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/desktop/whats-new/photoshop-on-desktop-release-notes.html“The Filter Gallery now includes a foreground and background color picker for dual-color filters, giving you more control over stylized effects.” The only filter that i can find with a color picker is Artistic>Neon Glow and that’s always had a color picker for the Glow Color. Is this referring to Filter>Filter Gallery or some other filter gallery?

Ive been trying to figure this out for days, but can someone tell me why my brush on photoshop is coming up round at the end like thisinstead of having sharp  ends  like thislet me know how i can make my brush have sharp ends ! id really appreciate the help

Since updating to Photoshop 27.6.0, external APFS disks no longer appear in Preferences > Scratch Disks. The disk is properly formatted, correctly mounted, and visible in Finder and Disk Utility, but Photoshop does not list it as an available scratch disk option. This worked correctly with previous versions of Photoshop on the same system. Tested on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1 with a 256 GB external SSK SSD formatted as APFS. Reformatting the disk as HFS+ (Mac OS Extended Journaled) via Terminal makes the disk visible in Photoshop scratch disk preferences, but macOS Tahoe unmounts HFS+ external volumes intermittently, making it an unviable workaround.

I would like to report several usability issues with the Canvas Size feature in Photoshop version 27.4.When Canvas Size is used inside an action, the action runs correctly, but the Canvas Size dialog keeps the exact values recorded in the action and does not allow easy modification before applying. This makes it difficult to reuse the same action with different canvas values.In previous versions, it was easier to adjust the values when running actions that included Canvas Size.Additionally, the new Canvas Size interface feels less efficient compared to previous versions and slows down the workflow when frequent canvas adjustments are required.Another issue is that the unit settings in the Canvas Size dialog do not stay consistent. I’m on a fairly new Apple M4 and I have Photoshop Desktop 2026.  For some reason my “share” icon is greyed out and non-functioning.  Is there a way to manually turn it on?   If not, anyone know why it’s not working??  

After update, the action is just one point in the history.I can't see all the steps.Often, I only need to undo one or a few steps, not the entire action.How can I change this?

I work with large PSB files - often 4+ GB - with many layers in Photoshop and I need to upgrade my computer. If I get an M4 Max Studio system with 64 GB RAM and a 2 TB SSD internal drive will that be enough, or should I increase RAM to 128 and/or get a larger SSD drive? I’d be grateful for advice.

Problem with HDR panorama. When I assembly more  30 captures with size 55 MB in format RAW (from camera Nikon 850) display blacken and computer do restart. I have Intel (R) Core Ultra 7 265K, 64 GB RAM, grafic card NVIDIA GeoForce RTX5050. Do you have somebody experience with this problem? 

I am an experienced PS user, and for the past 5 months I have been having an issue with tools using a brush (healing, remove, painting, clone, selection, masking, etc.). The tool leaves a streak from the left to the point of the brush. At first I could uninstall and reinstall PS using the cloud app, but this no longer works, and I am quite frustrated. I am using version 26.10.0 on a PC Win 11 64 (update 24H2, KB5064081\26100.5074), gb ram, and a NVIDEA GeForce RTX 4070 Super graphics card.  I have seen a similar post from 2020 describing the same/similar issue, but no solution other than regressing to an earlier version of PS was offered. Any ideas??Thanks,Mike

Hello, I have a Creative Cloud Pro plan, but I cannot see all of the partner AI models in Adobe Photoshop 27.0.0 release. Currently, the only models available in my account are:  Firefly Image 3 Firefly Image 1 FLUX Kontext Pro Gemini 2.5   However, I understand that other partner models such as Gemini 3 should also be available. Could you please explain why these models are not visible in my account and whether they need to be enabled?  

after the latest update, pasting hex color codes into the color selector does not work. i need to use edit>paste in order to do that. i've heard of other people with the same problems.to replicate the issue, create a text layer, write something, select part of the text, click on the color square on the top toolbar, now try to paste a color code. for me it doesnt work, so i need to 1. close and open again several times so i can paste the color code. 2. use the color picker if the color is available elsewhere in my design. 3. use edit>paste.would love to get this fixed. thanks.

Hi,I’ve been having an issue in Photoshop where the adjustments tab periodically becomes greyed out, making it impossible to add an adjustment layer by clicking on the the appropriate type. Restarting Photoshop resolves the issue temporarily. I’ve tried a number of troubleshooting steps including trashing and rebuilding preferences and reinstalling the application but nothing has resolved it. Photoshop 27.5.0. MacBook Pro M3, MacOS 26.4.1. Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated. 

When I try to use Generative Fill as I have done many times in the past, I get an error message saying “This feature is currently not available”. This only started happening when I installed PS v27.6.0 this morning. I checked and I still have credits available. I am using PS on a Windows 11 PC with the latest updates (as of April 26, 2026). Help! I use generative fill all the time.
