Hi everyone, this is my first time posting in this forum so I’ll do my best to explain my issue. Today I encountered an unrelated issue regarding Photoshop brushes having seemingly random inputs. So, after a little reading, I saw that the solution seemed to be updating my drivers. I checked my laptop and saw there was a backlog of updating so I went ahead and installed those as needed. After rebooting and launching Photoshop, my brushes were fixed but I noticed the whites on my canvas, color picker, and layer thumbnails were tinted blue. I searched this forum and found someone else encountered this on this thread but the posted solution there did not work for me. Instead, I found a YouTube video from 9 years ago addressing a similar issue (instead of blue, it was yellow). They went into Device Manager and added sRGB profile to their monitor and set that as default instead of the monitor’s native profile. That semi-worked for me. The whites in my canvas and color picker seemed fixed, bu
This issue seemingly sprung up overnight. Whenever I drag using the marquee tool I no longer see marching ants and now get a black line instead. It’s a nightmare when working on dark layers. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, reset preferences, updated version… Nothing seems to be fixing it. Any help would be awesome.
When I Save/Save As, I have to click endlessly away from last used to route- can we get a Windows Explorer bar at the top like most every other app?
I’ve been publishing for over thirty years and never had this issue. KDP demands exact dimensions for book covers, but recently, I am unable to resize images to fit those dimesions. I realize Photoshop uses pixels, but in publishing, you have to use inches. When i go to image size and deselect the resampling, as advised, and then insert my proper dimensions, Photoshop changes those dimesions so that the cover size is incorrect.I’ve tried checking and unchecking resample.I’ve tried starting over with a new template of the size needed, and it still won’t let me decide what size I need. The correct width and height is 13.198 x 9.25. When i can make those changes and save it, then open it back up, Photoshop has changed one or the other setting. The settings have to be exact, so without a solution to this, i can’t upload book covers.
Why does my content here suddenly disappear???AGAIN: Why are my pictures sUDDENLY opening tiny? It’s buried under those cross hairs about 1 px big. now my pictures are SUDDENLY receding under their info bar why is my profile SUDDENLY different; not at all what it has been for 10 years...Thanks gang
Went to update a plugin for Photoshop via ccx file apparently managed through Unified Plugin Installer Agent through Creative Cloud. It would not install. Tried all the remedies I could find listed. Nothing worked. Attempted running the UPIA from the command line and it returned a -410! error/status message. Of course, searching for some insights online turned up nothing. The supposed alternative is to uninstall everything and reinstall everything. An absolutely ridiculous approach on many different levels. Curious if anyone has any ideas about what might be able to address this problem. As it stands now, I have a commercial plug in I can’t use. Considering all the other problems and indifference to customers that Adobe has demonstrated over the last few years, seems that if I am going to have to start over ever quarter with software that is not only invasive but constantly being updated an alternative should be pursued. I have used PS since the 90’s. Would hate to change f
Hello everyone, I've been experiencing a strange problem in Photoshop since yesterday. When I create a text box and try to write something like "100% cashmere," the % sign automatically moves to the left of the 100, resulting in "%100." Even when I copy-paste "100%" from Notepad, the % sign still moves before the 100. It's baffling! I have the latest version of Photoshop, and I'm on PC. In my screenshot, it's also strange because when I place my cursor just after the % sign and try to delete it, I can't. It's as if this action is blocked. Thanks you all of us
Since PS introduced the new 2026 Actions panel I cannot find a way to remove a stop.My actions were created years ago where there was a checkbox besides every step to include a stop or not. I had usually a stop checked, especially with save and close … in order to decide where I want it to be saved to.But using an action as a batch from Bridge I don’t want the stop to avoid to selecting location, etc every time. I want it to go without intreruption, saving (and closing) to the location determined in Bridge > Photoshop >Batch > select folder. In the past I just opened the first image in PS and unchecked the stop in the action. This allowed the selected location in Bridge Batch processing to override the original location in the actionNow, in the new actions pallet I cannot find a way to uncheck the stop that’s in my action and in general … to make Bridge Batch settings to override..Anyone, please! Thanks
I recently updated to the Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.9.1 20260803.r.1 65900e1 x64 (final, Release). Once I import an image and I use the Clone Stamp Tool, it doesn't work as it used to. I use Alt+Click to select an area to clone, but then, when I click on a target to clone on, it uncontrollably clones other areas of the image, at a linear manner. I haven't seen such a behavior before.

Hi everyone,I’m having a strange issue with a Photoshop Action that I’ve been using for more than 5 years without any problems, but in the last 2–3 weeks Photoshop always considers the file as “modified” even after the action saves it correctly. We use the same Workflow for many Pictures in our Company, hence we use the same “Action” for almost every Picture. The action includes: paths / clipping paths profile conversion TIFF save At the end of the action the file is properly saved to disk, but the document title still shows the asterisk (*) as if there are unsaved changes. If I manually close the file after the action finishes, Photoshop shows the popup asking:“Do you want to save changes?”Things I already tried: deleted and recreated all Save / Save As steps left only one normal “Save” at the end added “3” and I repeat “3” normal “Save” at the end of the action removed every step after Save disabled “Save in Background” recreated the action from scratch tried Purge Histo
I have a regular Adobe Creative Cloud plan. The oldest Photoshop version currently available through Creative Cloud is the 2025 version.I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and an older iMac, both still very powerful and perfectly suitable for professional work. For quite some time now, however, it has been nearly impossible to work on large projects because the versions released over the past two years are full of bugs and suffer from serious lag across almost every tool.I have just contacted Adobe Customer Support, and they confirmed that, according to Adobe's policy, the oldest version they can provide is Photoshop 2025. Unfortunately, this does not solve the problem at all.I rely on Adobe for my work as a professional illustrator, but I simply cannot work properly if the tools do not function as they should. Considering how much I pay for my subscription, I expect to be able to access a version of the software I am paying for that is actually usable on my machines.I would also genuinely like
When working with files in Lightroom Classic, selecting “Open As Layers in Photoshop”, when Photoshop was not previously running, the pressure sensitivity of the brush tool with a Wacom tablet does not work. The brush uses the Opacity setting, not the pressure sensitivity. If the file is saved, closed, and then reopened, pressure sensitivity works again. On all files opened after the initial one, pressure sensitivity works. It seems to only not work correctly on the first instance of a file being opened. This is on a Windows machine, running Windows 11, Photoshop version 27.9.1 and Lightroom Classic version 15.5.
I’m using Photoshop v 27.9.1 on my Windows 11 Pro laptop. I noticed yesterday that when I open a file via the “Recent” section of Photoshop’s Homepage, I cannot use Undo via Ctrl Z. I can only get Ctrl Z to work if I: minimize / maximize Photoshop, tab to another program and back to Photoshop, or undock and redock file tab. It’s almost like the Ctrl Z keyboard command doesn’t relate it’s to Photoshop unless I do those things. Possibly due to my file being a tab? Ctrl Z works no matter how I open the file if I have the file set to show as a window first instead of a tab.The only way I can get Ctrl Z to work consitently as a tab now is by opening a file via “File, Open / Open Recent” or starting a whole new file to work on. This issue happens more times than it doesn’t now. There were sometimes when I opened a file via the recent section of the home page and Ctrl Z worked right when I went to use it. But it doesn’t work without my work arounds most of the time.Other shortcuts that use Ct
My Photoshop 2024 was tweaked to include some important steps I wished to include when I set up the “Automate Batch” to save my original tiff and/or jpeg processes files back to their original locations. When Photoshop 2025 became available, I check with support and was assured that all the little tweak regarding saving files would be transferred from the 2024 version to the 2025 version. All three attempts, to install 2025 version FAILED to transfer the tweaks I am so pleased to have in my 2024 version. My assumption is that when version 2026 comes out that it will have been improved and I would very much like to try it out. However I am wondering if I can delete my 2025 version from my computer and try to update to 2026 from my 2024 version and not from the non-functional 2025 version that currently resides “unused” on my computer. The BIG question!!!! Can I update directly from verion 2024 to version 2026 (without going through version 2025) OR am I stuck with us
How do you crop a single layer in Photoshop? That’s all I want to do. I have a series of images all laid out on my board, I want to crop a single photo of those 10 photos to fit in my grid better. That’s it. I want to crop. I want to select a single layer, and crop it.

Is there a career path at Adobe for experienced product power users and domain experts without a coding background? I have 10+ years of real-world experience working professionally with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and photography workflows. Over the years, I have identified many real-world workflow gaps, user problems, feature opportunities, and ideas that could improve Adobe products. I am also interested in contributing through product thinking, feature concepts, workflow analysis, user feedback, testing, and PRD-style product proposals. However, I do not come from an engineering or coding background. Does Adobe hire or work with experienced industry professionals like this who can contribute to product discovery, workflow improvement, feature development, UX research, product testing, or customer insights? If yes, which Adobe roles or teams would be the best fit for someone with this type of real-world product expertise? It would also be great if Adobe had a pathway where long-time

After update, the action is just one point in the history.I can't see all the steps.Often, I only need to undo one or a few steps, not the entire action. How can I change this?
How do I fix Camera Raw Masking Select People
For some reason every time I open photoshop there is a weird yellow/tan filter over everything, not just the image, but it doesn't actually apply to the image when I export. Attached is a screenshot of what a blank white image appears as in photoshop and the same image as a png. As you can see it appears tan for some reason, is there a reason for this? Is there a solution for this?
When sampling an area with the clone stamp tool, upon clicking where you want to paint with the cursor, it automatically creates a paint line between sample and cursor. Sometimes the link isn’t even logical it’s just crazy and random and all over the place. Reset app, updated photoshop, reset clone stamp tool, reset preferences. I got a “scratch disk full” message once when opening so I deleted a bunch of stuff and it still has the issue.
