Hi!I have a studio photograph of glasses with a gold metal frame. The image will be used for online shopping, so colour accuracy is very important.The issue is that the highlights and shadows obscure the actual gold colour of the frame, making it difficult to represent the product accurately.What would be the best way to reduce the highlights and minimize the shadows in Photoshop while preserving the natural gold colour and metallic appearance of the frame?Golden frames 

Hello,I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium for approximately $700 as a perpetual license. My question concerns the entire suite, not just Photoshop.Both of my Windows computers now display “Activation limit reached.” I cannot open the applications to access Help > Deactivate. My Adobe account’s Activated Devices page shows no activated devices.I contacted Adobe support and was told that they could not reset the activation count. The advisor also said that the CS5 activation servers had been permanently retired, but I have not received an official reference confirming this specifically for CS5 Design Premium.Could someone please clarify: Is there an official way to deactivate these installations without opening the applications? Can I restore access to the suite using my existing serial number? Have the activation servers for CS5 specifically been retired? If so, where is Adobe’s official announcement? I’m setting up a Photoshop layered file with a bulleted list. It will be easier for the other users if the text has the bulleted list style automatically applied, so I used the bullet style in the Paragraph panel. But is there any way to change the bullet color? Right now it’s the same color as the text, and I would like there to be a contrast.Drawing the shapes manually is not the best solution for a template that various people will have to use. Is there a hidden option somewhere that would allow me to change the color, as in InDesign?

Gradient produced after V27.7 are producing very visible banding.I am currently creating a greyscale gradient to print a gradient of white ink on a UV printer.We use this process to avoid any visible banding when printing, however after V27.7 the photoshop gradients now have very visible banding.Is this a known issue?Is there a plan to fix this bug?

EM pinball cabinets (primary those produced in the 1970’s and earlier) had a webbing paint splatter effect on them.  I’m creating some custom decals for a machine instead of painting it, but I can’t seem to figure out a way to replicate this webbed-splatter effect in Photoshop.  If you look closely, most of the splatter appears to be hair-like instead of just drops of paint.I’ve tried a variety of brushes and effects, but I can’t see to come very close.  I would sincerely appreciate it if anyone can point me in the right direction to simulate this effect.

I have returned to compositing in photoshop and want a single type blade of grass brush.  I am puzzled by the brushes as I am sure the brushes used to appears in small boxes and some had a simple couple of blades of grasses, now the brush grasses are chunks.  Can anyone tell me where these old brushes have gone and how I can get back.

Hi All,  New here!  I have two different images that I would like to add the same style grass to, is this possible?  When I type 'add grass' to either images the range of options are completely different.  Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you 🙂

Hello. I'm learning Photoshop in a practical at university where I have to create a grassy environment. The brief says "Choose the Brush Tool, and have the shape Grass. Paint a line just below the horizon. Increase the Brush Size a bit, then draw another line of grass below the previous one. Continue down the image, increasing Brush Size as you go." However neither I nor my lecturer have been able to find the Grass option. I have the latest CC 2018. Can anyone help?Kind RegardsEmma

Hi I am still new and learning how to use adobe photoshop etc. I am wanting to create a spray paint splatter effect with a gradual change in colours -similar to the photo on this page: Yogabox West End | Hot Power Yoga & AntiGravity Aerial Yoga Coming Soon I know I could probably just download some pre made brushes but I would like to either make my own brushes or use a different technique to acheive this in either Photoshop or Illustrator. Any ideas or help on how to do this would be greatly appeciated.Thanks in advance!

Hello,  I am new to Photoshop CC.  I am using the clipping mask option to flare up my text.  I also want to use a splatter paint brush to make my font more interesting.  However, whenever I enable the paint brush (splatter type) and click it does nothing.  My hope was that it would bring out the picture that was used for the clipping mask.  I know that the photo is right underneath the text, but when I click to splatter nothing happens.  What am I doing wrong?

How do I select a square brush for the brush tool in CS6?  Sorry if this is a simple question, but nothing has ever been simple for me in Photoshop.

I'm not sure how to go about it as it looks difficult to do. How can you create a rectangle or square brush in Photoshop, or are they available to download. If you are able to download brushes, what is the correct directory or folder that these need to be placed in.   Do brushes come in different sizes or can you adjust the size of the selected brush.   The reason for needing a rectangular or square brush is to get into tight corners of particular areas.   Thank you!   {Thread title edited by Moderator}

Where can I find plain square brushes?  I have been all over the brush tool settings - I can only find artistic brushes that have ragged edges. How have looked online where people say that Photoshop comes with them, but I don't have a selection that says square round brushes in the drop-down menu.  Round and artistic I have, but if there are square brushes, I am not seeing them. I am using a Windows10 machine, cc, build 21.2.4.  My skill level is advanced beginner, so if this sounds foolish, I apologize.Any and all help is appreciated.

Dear sir, with the last update in Photoshop, the Discover panel is not working. When i press Ctrl+F or click in the magnifier, a windows shows up with a message telling thar Discover panel doesn't work and need to be reloaded. But if i clik in reload button, it does nothing and the Discover panel continues without working. I have tried all solutions i ever found in internet as reset preferences, Update graphic card drivers and reinstall photoshop. I am sure thar teh pluggins are not the problem because i haven't installed or updated any plugging in the months, and other photoshop versions worked without any problem.   Could you help me to solve this issue, please?   Thanks

using Ps 27.9.1 on MacOSBecause there’s no ability to update the current workspace, I end up with a new workspace whenever I make a small adjustment. This leads to me needing to cull my workspaces to keep the list managable so it’s easier to find the ones that really matter.Before I can delete a workspace, I need to look at it to make sure I want to delete it.Problem is, I can’t delete the current workspace I’m looking at. So I’m left with having to eithera) remember the workspace name of the current workspace, switch to a different workspace, then delete the previous one I was just looking atb) go through the workspaces and write down the one’s I want to delete, then select a workspace not on my delete list, then go back through my list and deleting the workspaces one at a time (since the delete dialog exits as soon as I delete a workspace).I feel this process could be better a number of ways let me delete the currently selected workspace allow me to delete more than one workspace a

When I drag the edge of a panel (Properties, Layers, Color) in Photoshop, the panel content disappears for several frames, ghost panel edges/scrollbars flash in the middle of the workspace, and the layout jumps around. Screen recording attached. Illustrator is just as bad. Premiere Pro is affected too, but noticeably less. Hi everyone,I'm experiencing a consistent issue with Photoshop 2026 (27.11.0) on my MacBook Pro M5 Pro running macOS 26.7.1.The problem:When my Mac is disconnected from Wi-Fi, saving a JPEG causes Photoshop to freeze for approximately 5 seconds, displaying the spinning beachball. The entire Photoshop interface becomes unresponsive during this time, but the file eventually saves successfully.When Wi-Fi is connected, the exact same operation is instantaneous.What I've tested: Files are saved directly to the local Desktop (internal SSD), not to cloud storage. Disabling "Save in Background" makes no difference. Activity Monitor process samples taken during the freeze show Photoshop's main thread waiting on a condition variable (__psynch_cvwait). Most importantly, downgrading Photoshop to version 27.9.1 on the same M5 Pro completely resolves the issue, even with Wi-Fi disconnected. This strongly suggests a regression introduced in Photoshop 27.10 or 27.11, possibly involving a network

PS 27.11.0, I’m trying to use the wand tool and it’s not selecting what I select. There are areas that are a single color, and when I click on one of those areas to select it, the wand tool is selecting other things, kind of random. No, I’m not on a mask, I’m on the background. I even flattened the image to make sure. I click on the slight orange background at the top, and I get the mask below: Nothing that I click on gives me the selection I’m expecting. Any ideas?

I just updated my Adobe Photoshop to Adobe Photoshop 2026 on my HP Envy x360 2 in 1 labtop 14. I realized quickly I can't remove backgrounds or select a subject. For when I select subject the text comes up saying: " Couldn't find a a subject to select, there might not be prominent objects in the image", even though clearly there is a subject. For the when I want to use remove background it says: "Couldn't find background when there is clearly a background.

When I start all Adobe programmes including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator from my office computer, it has not been working at all, which had worked well for a couple of weeks. It shows only white screen without anything as shown in below screenshot:  I tried my best to find out the solution, by (1) uninstall all current Adobe product including the Illustrator, (2) install them again, (3) Press and hold "Alt," "Control" and "Shift" at the same time as the program launched, and delete all current settings (4) press print screen to capture (5) uninstall current products and install old version and upgrade it..... all measures I tried, but no vail.  I desperately need to work Photoshop and other Adobe programmes on my working computer in the officer.   Thank you for your support.
