When installing any plug-ins they do not work and are greyed out in photoshop. DxO (one plug in supplier) have been helpful however the issue seems to be that this file (UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent.exe) should be in the folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\RemoteComponents\UPI\UnifiedPluginInstallerAgent) when Photoshop installs and no matter how many times I install photoshop from creative cloud this does not exist. Can anyone help? Thanks

I am trying to print a photo to Epson XP 15000 and it automatically comes up to image size of 4x6, but I want it to be the size of the image which is 5 ½ x7.  Every time I try to change it, Photoshop closes.  I have reinstalled Photoshop, my print drivers, reset my preferences, removed other printers...I don’t know what to do next.  I saw where I should change color management, but it doesn’t show on my version the same.  I have also checked the printer spooler service to make sure it is ON and automatic.I have Windows.I would appreciate any help you can offer.It’s a new printer, which I can return, I’m just worried that it’s not a printer problem. and it will happen with a different printer.

Dear sir, with the last update in Photoshop, the Discover panel is not working. When i press Ctrl+F or click in the magnifier, a windows shows up with a message telling thar Discover panel doesn't work and need to be reloaded. But if i clik in reload button, it does nothing and the Discover panel continues without working. I have tried all solutions i ever found in internet as reset preferences, Update graphic card drivers and reinstall photoshop. I am sure thar teh pluggins are not the problem because i haven't installed or updated any plugging in the months, and other photoshop versions worked without any problem.   Could you help me to solve this issue, please?   Thanks

My eraser tool isn't erasing everything in the circle size I have choosen. It only erases the inside area of the circle so only about 50% of the circle size. I have tried the smoothness and opacity settings, because I know thats the first thing people will say to check.

What I want to do is be able to bring in a 3d object in to photoshop.Convert it to a 2d smart object, where if I open that layer I can change just the color texture map assigned to the object.Is there a commercial plugin or other way to do this?????????Thank you! 

I really don’t like the output of the newer Hue/Saturation panel in the Image/Adjustments menu and I don’t see a way to use the legacy panel. The effect is dirtier and less richer than the legacy panel. It reminds me of changing colors via a Layer using the Color Blend Mode. It makes all the colors look like crap and gives them a “samey” kind of look to them. Almost as if the adjustments are being made using a really cheap filter. For those who have access to both the older and newer panels through different versions of PS, slide the Hue bar on each one and compare them to see if you can tell the difference. Just as Adobe gave the checkbox to use legacy Brightness/Contrast, they really need to do the same for the Hue/Saturation panel. Whether it be through preferences or the panel itself. In my last version of PS, they at least gave the option to access the old panel by using the menu instead of the adjustment layer. But that’s changed with the most recent update and it’s been replaced

Hi, I am hoping someone can help with a photo editing issue, I am trying to edit a photo to 300 x 300 pixels and when I do it becomes blurry? I am not sure how to fix this! 

When attempting to open a PDF in Photoshop, files are not parsed properly. For example, a US letter size PDF shows a width of 13 pixels and a height of 1 pixel. Even when resized, the file opens as a blank document that does not any known aspect ratio (eg. bounding box, media, etc.) This happens with multiple PDF files.  I'm curious if this bug is specific to Windows on ARM? Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.3.1 20260130.r.4 dc82f6c  arm64 (final, Release)Operating System: Windows 11 64-bitVersion: 11 or greater 10.0.26200.7623 

I am processing layered Photoshop files using Tools>PhotoShop>Image Processor from Bridge 15.1.4.9. Every image is flattened when opening in Photoshop 27.3.1. This is not desired or intentional. So I am having to run an action that will “Select previous History State” as action 1 in order to un-do this un-requested flattening. Is this intentional on Adobe’s part? If so how about an option for this behavior, if not please correct this behavior.In addition to this unwanted behavior, Tools>PhotoShop>Image Processor is leaving temp files in the target directory when saving .png files using “Export for web” in an action designated for use by Tools>PhotoShop>Image Processor. 

👉VIDEOIt would be great if layer effects applied to text could work per line, not only to the entire text block. Right now I have to split the text into separate lines manually so that the layer effects are applied correctly to each line. It would be much more convenient if this worked automatically for multi-line text.  

The color picker has completely changed from what it was. It’s now bands of color rather than a gradiant of color in the middle square with color range on the bar on the right. Here is what I see in PS 2026: I find this confusing and difficult to use after using PS for 20 years and seeing this:  Question: How do I get this back?  Same is true of selecting a color fill when using Shift+F5 for fill. Now I see this:  How do I get the old color picker back? I find this confusing and disorienting after two decades of using PS. 

Any time I go to use the Brush Tool, if I happen to have Caps Lock enabled on my keyboard, I cannot see the visual indicator of the brush size. Only when I disable Caps Lock does the brush size indicator reappear.

This just started happening. I haven’t changed any settings. I’m creating a multi-layer image. When I paste an image into a new layer, instead of the little thumbnail in the layers pane showing, it’s just a transparent thumbnail. (See screenshot).Screenshot shows the image on that I put on Layer 2 but it won’t show up in the layers pane. Any ideas? 

Hi,Suddenly, my layer thumbnails are not displaying in the Layers panel. I tried increasing the thumbnail size and resetting my workspace, but nothing changed. It’s really frustrating because I rely on the previews when working with multiple layers. Any idea what’s causing this?

On my computer with Windows 11, I am running the CS6 Master Collection, which I purchased in 2012. Recently, I can start Photoshop, but I can no longer use it. It freezes and blocks the entire computer. Even after reinstalling Photoshop, I get the same result. The other programs in the bundle are still working perfectly.Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get Photoshop working again?

In th elatest version of Photoshop, why is the Clarity Adjustmenr Layer Not Available In GrayScale ?

I’m working in Photoshop on a product photo that includes a high-gloss black acrylic board with metal chains and gold elements hanging in front of it. The problem is that the specular glare on the acrylic overlaps and intersects with the chains, and any attempt to select the board also selects parts of the chain. Key constraints: The acrylic board and the chains share similar brightness and color in places The glare overlaps the chains (not cleanly separated) I do not want to manually trace or lasso the chains or board I want a non-destructive workflow (adjustment layers / masks preferred) My goal: Reduce or control glare/reflections on the black acrylic Keep the chains, gold bar, and lettering completely untouched Ideally use tonal, luminosity, object-based, or mask-driven techniques rather than hand masking Is there a recommended Photoshop workflow for protecting complex metallic objects and adjusting the surface behind them when selections overlap like this? Screenshot attached.Phot

Topaz Photo AI and Topaz Photo Studio will not open when working with a photo. Version 2025 and vs 2026 Photoshop crashes on open . No problem up untill the end of January 2026!

My smoothing option is not greyed out it can be put at 100% but the behaviour of the brush stays the same as with smoothing turned off. I just want this "Lazy Mouse" how can I get this to work? Because on my old PC it worked but now on my macbook it is just not working since I installed it. when using the Liquify filter, there is a possibility that a separate layer is created for this. I always make a copy of the original layer first.
