Hi,I get the error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)" whenever I try to open Adobe Premiere Pro 2026.My System Specs:- CPU: Intel Pentium Gold G5620 @ 4.00GHz- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB- Motherboard: ASUS Prime B360M-C- OS: Windows 10 (64-bit)Troubleshooting steps I've already tried:1. Reinstalled Visual C++ Redistributable packages (AIO).2. Updated/reinstalled DirectX.3. Ran as Administrator.How can I resolve this issue? Is this error related to CPU AVX instruction requirements or driver compatibility?Thanks in advance.

“Delete Audio Tracks” feature isn't working. Nothing happens when you press this button. Very often, the Curves panel becomes unresponsive for about 15 seconds. In other words, all the other panels work fine, but when you click on the Curves panel, nothing happens, and you have to wait or restart the program.I'm using the latest version of Windows 11 Pro 25H2Laptop IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IAH7 Laptop - Type 82S912th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12450H (2.00 GHz)NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU (4 gb)    

I am on Adobe Premiere Pro 2026, version 26.5, and I cannot get my transcription tool to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere all night, I have tried installing prior versions from 2026 (which froze my computer repeatedly), and I am back at the latest version again. I have had this issue intermittently for a month or two. This issue is across projects and started happening after one of the updates.Please let me know what I can do to fix this. I need this to be working for a project I’m doing at work tomorrow.

Hi everyone,I’m working on a 25-minute short film that was edited entirely in Adobe Premiere Pro.During the editing process, I used Premiere’s Merge Clips function to combine the video and separately recorded audio. I later learned that Merge Clips is not the ideal workflow when the project needs to be handed over to a sound editor and exported as an AAF.Now I’m at the sound post-production stage, and I’m having a major problem: I cannot get a usable AAF out of the project that correctly links back to the original production audio files.I have tried a number of different approaches, including:Exporting the AAF with different settings. Embedding the audio vs. exporting separate audio files. Rendering/consolidating the audio files before exporting. Trying different handle/frame settings. Exporting the project as XML, importing it into DaVinci Resolve, and then exporting it back to Premiere, followed by another attempt to create an AAF. Hi,I mainly edit video files with the HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 codec. I know they're very heavy, but everything works smooth up to version 26.2.2. When I try to edit the same files with versions 26.3 and 26.3.2, playback becomes laggy even without color correction or effects applied.I work on a MSI Creator 17 with Windows 11, Intel i7-11800H, 32Gb of RAM and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU everything updated.Best regards,Vito

I have edited almost two dozen video clips on my timeline, and they were Low resolution.So i used the new Topaz Upscale Video panel right inside of Premiere… so easy to drag and drop and it was fast, and then downloads the clips in my Project Bin! Voila!…. Errr!Err… but the upscaled videos have NO AUDIO so I can’t simply click each clip and REPLACE FOOTAGE… and I can’t swap them on the timeline (as far as I know) because ALL of my clips have been chopped up, interweaved…. scattered, etc. Not sure how to swap out my video without losing my audio… or all the editing I did.Thanks in Advance! 🙏Your fellow community expert… stumped!

Premiere Pro 24.6.1 (build 2)If the Show FX Badges is switched off in the Timeline Display settings (the wrench):... then the whole set of the right mouse button context menus called Show Clip Keyframes drops out.This menu includes:Once you switch the Show FX Badges back on the line appears in its place at the bottom of the context menu.This is definitely a bug - showing or not showing badges should not canceal a vital set of tools. 

Since Adobe redirects me to forums as the only means to get support, I'll post this here - even though it requires a response from Adobe.I've recently started using a software that notifies me once the camera or microphone on my laptop become activated, since I am concerned with how privacy is handled by software companies. I was very surprised to understand that the mere fact of starting Adobe Premiere Pro up activates my microphone immediately and continuously. This means the software has access to the mic audio *simply by running*.Assuming that this feature is intended so that the user can record audio directly into Premiere, it should only become active once the recording process is actually starting. This is self evident to me.Skype, for example, activates the microphone only when a call is effectively established (not even when it is ringing), which is how it should be. Adobe is not taking my right to privacy seriously and I request an answer on why this happens and an urgent fix

I have run into an issue exporting captions as an SRT file. I usually export captions as a sidecar file, but on this particular project when I go Text > Captions > Export > Export to SRT file, it won’t let me save the file. It shows me the correct file location, but when I click Save, nothing happens. The dialogue box doesn’t close and the file never actually saves. The captions successfully export as TXT and CSV. I have successfully exported SRTs on two other videos today. I’ve tried restarting Premiere with no success. Is there anything else I can try? I need the SRT file specifically. Thanks!

Hello! I am having issues with Audio Track Mixer causing premiere to crash. I have 2-3 audio tracks, all .wav files. I’ve added a multiple band compressor, dynamic processing, and occasionally a lowpass. Clips are 8-10 minutes long, and .wav files. When I adjust the audio levels in the audio track mixer is when premiere crashes.  I am on the new Mac Studio base model.Premiere Pro 2022 22.2.0 (M1 Version)MacOs Monterey 12.3Any suggestions?

Hey, since a couple of days Premiere Pro Auto Transcript is not working anymore. It is showing me “No dialogue found” even if there is a clear dialogue. I tried to change audio from mono to stereo, cleared the programme cache, deinstalled and reinstalled the programme again (as well as several times restarting) - nothing works.  Also not in the Beta Version.  I am using the Premiere Pro 26.2.on a HP Spectre laptop. My colleague with a Mac has no problem transcribing my files.  Can somebody please help I am kinda hopeless at this point. Thanks!

Previously this function was working for me when trying to batch relink proxies. Now, it has suddenly stopped and Premiere is only relinking one proxy at a time, despite all proxies being in one folder and all proxies having corresponding names to original footage. "File Name" under Match File Properties is clicked as well as "Relink others automatically" and "Use Media Browser to attach files." Can't understand why this started happening out of nowhere and can only assume it's a bug?

Recently I’ve had this issue where Premiere gets REALLY slow and gets a “Not Responding” status whenever I try to add/edit text or captions. This problem doesn’t seem to be specific to any video file format either. Which, has seemed strange to me because I assume my computer has the hardware to handle it. I have an RTX 5080 and Ryzen 9. I tried deleting my cahce files, but that only temporarily solved the problem. I updated my graphics drivers and that didn’t work either. My renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA). I’m running version 26.5.I haven’t been able to find much of a solution so I thought I’d ask here.

This only seems to have started happening with the latest update to 25.3.   Problem Behavior: If there is a marker exactly at the cut the "ripple edit to playhead" action will be going to, it will delete that marker instead of preserving it like before. If there is a marker exactly at the playhead when a "ripple edit to playhead" is done, it also deletes the marker instead of preserving it   This at least affects these shortcut actions, but there could be others that the behavior affects too: Ripple Trim Next Edit To Playhead Ripple Trim Previous Edit To Playhead     Screencaps:   New bad behavior in 25.3 In that example I show as having a marker both at the playhead and the cut point, but to be clear it will delete the marker even if it's only one of them, it doesn't need to be both.   Expected Behavior (Example from Premiere Pro 2024, but same as before the 25.3 update)   Windows System Info: Premiere P

I don’t use Rounded Crop in Pr 26.2.2 a lot but today I need it and I cannot make heads or tails with it.When I just use on parameter to crop a side it works as it should. But when I try to animate it weird things happen:You can see that when animated instead of cropping the color from top to bottom it does in in the center. It’s a blank new project with just color mattes, nothing else. Is it a bug or is it so by design? Because if so it should be fixed, it’s nonsense.Why am I constantly finding bugs in Premiere just a moment before I need to use certain tools in serious projects that are coming?!

Bonjour,Depuis peu dès que j'essaie de lancer Première pro (version ARM) la petite fenêtre de départ s'ouvre puis se referme au bout de 1-2 secondes. Alors qu'une semaine auparavant je n'avais pas ce problème.De même mon application créatif cloud me dit "qu'un problème affecte le chargement d'une partie de contenu". Je ne sais pas si c'est relié 💁‍♂️Auriez-vous des solutions ?

I have been a Premiere Pro user for over 10 years and have never had to write a discussion post.. I am trying to generate transcribed captions through in and out points on my vertical video timeline, but each time I do this, this systems processing immediately stops. Here is what I’m doing in my Captions & Graphics workspace:In & out points on the timeline are set > Clicked the 3 dots above “transcribe” > Clicked “Generate Static Transcript” > Clicked “Transcription Preferences” > I select audio track 1 only (the only track I need) > Checked the box marked “transcribe in and out point only”. The system begins to load and process my request, but then stops and nothing happens.. I have logged out of my Creative Cloud account, reset my Premiere Pro app, and reset my laptop multiple times, but I am still facing this issue of not having the transcription and captioning move forward. My internet connection is also not the issue. I am using version 26.30 (build 93)

Hey guys, I seriously need some help!! I'm editing on a Mac and so frustrated with the colorspace differences between the 1.96 and my 2.4. My colorist delivered me mov clips in rec709, and they look great in my premiere file and terrible in quicktime. I no longer have access to my colorist so reaching out to him isn't an option to redo any of the actual color or get anymore exports, and yes, I already know how to set my display setting to 1.96 but the issue is that I PREFER the way the clips are colored in 2.4. I'm fine with using some sort of correction lut, but none of them have been actually accurate! I'm this close to screen recording the damn thing (not really lol) because it looks fine when i do that. Why is there not a legitimate option for me?? ive been struggling with this for hours and am not an expert just really need some help here 😞 My Mac OS is Tahoe 26.3.1 

I’m using MXF files in my edit and they take 45 seconds to even show what frame is selected in the timeline, playback is impossible, even at 1/8 resolution. I’m making proxies now, but there MUST be a way to work with these files at least a little better.
