Is there a way to route all video channels to a bus like in Audition? and then fade them all from there?I have a video with 3 video channels overlapping.  2 of the channels have an alpha channel (obviously) so the bottom channel can be seen through them - other top layers are logos. When I manually fade each channel out you see that they are different layers when they become transparent - it looks really bad. I want them as 1 layer and the whole scene to be completely faded equally.The only way so far I know to achieve this is to remove the fades, export the video, then re import it and apply the fade.  There HAS to be a better way to do this! please tell there is...

What technique is this? Hey All,I have seen this issue posted by a couple people but it doesn't seem like anyone has a solution.I am having a slight but very noticeable magenta shift when I playback in premiere.  While subtle, it makes it almost impossible to color correct and grade because once you think you have your color dialed in it will change as soon as you hit play and then change back when you hit pause.So far this problem is occurring with Prores, DNxHR and Cineform files that I know of. I transcoded some files to H.264 and they appear to be unaffected by this bug along with AVCHD files.  I am using the latest 2017 version of Premiere and there is no change to the issue if I switch between GPU and software video rendered.Is anyone else having this problem?Thanks.

The Graphics layer's opacity control line is not visible, making the layer appear hidden, even though the video layer's opacity can be controlled; this occurs despite confirming that 'Opacity' is enabled in the Layer FX, and even when adding opacity keyframes via Ctrl+left-click, they remain hidden.I have attached a screen-captured video.

Hi all, I'm new to Adobe Premiere so sorry if this problem is easy to fix. I'm trying to add subtitles to a clip. However I'm unable to click on the add captions button. I do see a lock with "caption file is in source preview mode and must be added to sequence to be editable". I've closed the source preview, however that doesn't fix the problem. Next to that I've tried to click on "Add Edit" under Sequence. No success. ". Last thing I've tried is Add new caption track...  Here are some ss from my premiere (just to be clear, there's text behind the black square :)):

The issue is I am missing fonts in Premier Pro. Can't use MOGRT files. On the online page of the Adobe Fonts, it seems like I have all the Noto Sans fonts, in the app it shows that some of them wasn't able to install because of a conflict. I have tried: 1. Sign out and in of Adobe Creative Cloud.2. Install uninstall Premier Pro.3. Right click on MOGRT template after it is imported, and click on sync.4. Delete and import MOGRT files again.5. Downloaded Noto sans Google fonts locally -> right click -> install. With point 5 I was able to use everything correctly for a while on another laptop, but now everything is crushing (nothing helps to fix the issue) on both and it is quiet fustrating that I just cannot find a way to permanently fix the issue and work on my projects normally. Back in the old versions I have never experienced these kind of headaches but now I cannot even see e.g. versions from 2023, so atm I have the most recent versions (25 and 24).

Hello, I am trying to add the transcript to an interview I'm working on and it's not including the audio track of the second person. I have two video files (with audio) and it's only recognizing the audio file of one of them. How can I have the transcript recognize both people?  I created a second project to troubleshoot this and when I clicked on the Text window, it already had the file transcribed. I was trying to start the whole process from scratch because I believe there's a window that pops up where you can identify if there are multiple people speaking. I didn't have this option when I created the new project. Any advice on that would be helpful, too. Thank you!

If you apply "add frame hold" and then add any effect like "scale" from the beginning to end of the clip the motion will stop where the clip originally ended.This didn't happen in previous versions of premiere. I regularly cheat footage by freeze framing and then scaling, or adding a hand held motion effect so I can sit on essentially a still image for 3-5 seconds.You can see in the screen grab below I have keyframes at the beginning and end of the clip - but the clip actually stops moving at the end of the yellow bar (original clips time). The work around is to nest it, freeze within the nest and then apply the motion but that sure is annoying.Would be great if it could be fixed.

I've been having this really annoying issue pretty much forever.I'm working as normal in premiere - then i need to export TIF a still image (or sequence) and open it in photoshop to edit it.  All good - I open in photoshop, then save back as TIF and import back into premiere - but as soon as the edited frame is back in premiere - it's color/brightness is just slightly off from the original frame.  I figured it's due to some color space issue - but I tried saving/exporting with all kinds of different settings, in RGB, in CMYK even, with AdobeRGB & with sRGB - it makes no difference.  The re-imported TIFF is always ever so slightly different.  I tried going PNG instead of TIFF - same thing.Then finally i found a workaround - importing the photoshop file directly into premiere.  That's a bit more messy (when many layers) and files are heavier/larger - but at least it worked.  But now another issue!I take that photoshop clip (still image exported from my p

I  work with the newest version of the adobe creative suite (update automaticly). I wanted to use the "Replace with after effects composition" yesterday but it gaves me horrible colors back. The copy of the clip in premiere semms ok but after opening the comp in after effects it looks darker and not saturated. In After Effects and in premiere too. Also the render-function gaves the colors not back. I cant remember that I had this issue in former versions. Whats going wrong. Where can a connect the color space and the color work to get the same color after using the manupulating in after effects.  

Hi,I implemented an importer which calculates the duration of the imported clip using prefs which can be changed by the user. This works if only a single instance of the imported clip is present.When multiple instances of the clip are present and each one has different duration because of different prefs, Premiere sets the last calculated duration to all instances of the clip.Why does Premiere think that the duration of a clip is always independent of the stored preferences?What can I do?Best Regards-Bjoern Gdanietz-

effect not any there distort and circle offset not in premiere

I am working on a project that runs multiple sequences. When I open the project, the current active sequence will popualte but when I change sequences, it does not change and will stay on the prior. This used to not be the case and the only way I can get it to show the next transcribe I want is to restart premiere. Is this a bug? It's only started happening to me in the past 3 months or so. Very annoying, thank you!

I'm confused, why 40 text size in the subtitle layer equals with text size 80 in the graphic layer?

Error constantly appearing when rendering.There are someways to turn it around, if it's always a matter of trying again and again, which takes me a lot of time. I even asked for a definitive solution, which they just couldn't give me, saying that it was an issue with the external server I'm using. Besides it was not true - even changing the device, the problem appeared again -, they suggest they blamed the server company (btw, it's a company server, used by hundreds of other people). I guess I'll just have to wait for the next version...

Text Styles can be saved to the project, and will retain their Position setting. When saved to Local Styles, the Position setting is ignored. 1. Create a Caption, adjust the font and color etc, and move it up 228 pixels to place it in the TikTok safe zone.2. Click on the + sign and Choose Create style. Choose to save it both to the project and to Local Styles3. Remove the caption track, and create a new one and a new caption4. Apply the Text Style from the project. The caption now moves up to the saved position5. Undo, and now apply the Text Style from the Local Styles The caption now gets the font and colors etc. from the style, but it remains in the original position.The Position setting should NOT be ignored when a Text Style is saved to the Local Styles. Premiere Pro version 25.5, Windows 11.

I want to animate some still images and want the video size to be 1080 (W) x 1920 (H).  I've imported an image that is roughly that size but now I want to change the video size.  When I go to Sequence Settings to do that, the aspect ratio of the image is maintained and one of the dimensions adjusted accordingly.  I don't want that.  How can I force the video to be 1080x1920?  Thanks.  

Hello, I am making a short film about a live streamer (a person who broadcasts themselves on the internet doing various things, whilst people watch them and interact via chatting) and will be editing with Premiere Pro. My question is this: How do I emulate/add in an overlay like the one that live streamers use on platforms such as Twitch or YouTube, and show the comments that people make in the chat?  I have attached pictures for clarity.

Hallo Leute!Ich habe ein Problem,das mich aktuell verzweifeln lässt (Premiere Pro Vers.25.5 auf mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 / Chip: Apple M3 Ultra) !Beim Import aus dem Quellmonitor ins Schnittfenster wird nur eine Audiospur wiedergegeben aber beide Spuren weden angezeigt?Im Quellmonitor sind aber beide Stereospuren zu hören!Hat jemand eine Idee dazu?!Harald 

I noticed that since the last update, the hard limiter is no longer working as expected. It is capped at minus 6dB, no matter what, you can not get the audio higher than minus 6dB. If I remove hard limiter audio goes higher than that.  Anybody else?  

hello,I have this issue withe some .mov clips where thery only import audio into premiere. In VLC it can't playback the video. Media encoder does not understand it too and only reencodes the audio, black video. Any fixes for this?
