Recently, when I try to press CTRL-Z, it won't undo what just happened, but it will undo the next thing. For example, I imported files into Premiere, and then I moved something on the timeline, and I wanted to undo that, but it undid the imported files instead of the action I just took in the timeline.  So far, I've reset my preferences and restarted my Mac, but this issue persists. Macbook Air 2020Sonoma 14.5Premiere Pro v 24.6.1

So I've created a video Montage using b-roll and plugins. It's made in Premiere Pro from scratch using layers. How doni not export this out for use in a 3d projected dome at either 360⁰ or better 180⁰?  I understand there could be a seam at the back end but how do you get rid of the anoos if you look directly up?

This is a bit of a rant at this point, but honestly I don't know how else to put it: premiere pro is seriously broken. I have been working on a feature documentary for a few months now. In the beginning, Premiere Pro showed no major issues, apart from ocassional minor lag. However, for the past 2 months, editing of any sort has become impossible. Playback (any playback) takes between 20seconds to more than a minute to begin. If pressed again, even when changing nothing, will result in the same absurd lag. I have tried everything to fix this: from changing to a faster machine (from a 2019 IMAC PRO, to a 2024 Macbook M3 Pro with 36Gb Memory), using fast SSDs and cables (several times tested in different configurations), copying the sequence content to a new sequence, copying the project to a new project file...everything! And no matter what, this simply doesn't work. I am not someone to just decide to change editing software in the middle of a big project, but if this doesn't get sorted

I have found a bug in the opacity of clips. I have the same clip being stacked three layers deap, intent is to use a 9x16 in a 16x9 video frame.  I have the main video in Track V1, and in Track V2 I have a mirrored video, that I apply a blur and reduce the opacity to 20% to fill the rest of the screen. The source clip is a ProRes 422 HQ video, REC 709 The error is a lower than expected opacity on the video used on the right of this screen capture: The video on the right 1/2 of the screen happens to be in V2, but if I move it to V3 or V4 (and leave V2 black same condition exists). However if I move V1 track to the top of the stack, the opacity is correct for all layers.This is the settngs for the Opacity of the clips in question: If I try to crop out the main center video on the right hand part of the clip, expecting it to effect the clip below differently so the reduced opacity is not visable,  it crops the video as if there is no extra black footage

Bonjour à tous, j'ai un problème avec l'une de mes séquences sur Adobe Premiere Pro. J'ai un projet de plusieurs vidéos, et la vidéo 3 a plusieurs séquences qui sont notées par versions (V1, V2, V3, etc.). J'ai fini cette vidéo et je l'ai exportée, donc ça va. Mais depuis je n'arrive plus à remettre la main sur la dernière séquence/version de cette vidéo exportée, et plusieurs séquences se ressemblent comme 2 gouttes d'eau, comme si les dernières en date ne s'étaient pas mises à jour. Quelqu'un aurait une solution SVP ?Merci !

When I right click a clip in the timeline the 'properties' option is missing. I tried it in the clips in the project panel, it's not there too. I attached screenshots of it. Maybe my eyes  are deceiving me. If you see it in the screenshots please tell me and apoligies for this post. Thank you.

Hello to everyone!Cannot find a solution myself.I need to draw two lines with a PEN TOOL to appear at the very beginning of the Sequence. I need a title to appear later.However, all these graphic elements appear on the same layer with no possibility to modify the timing. I'm sure I did something wrong, but I cannot figure out what in particular.Will be very grateful for any ideas! Thanks!

Premiere 2025 is in need of a serious update.  All versions have had similar bugs and they have not been addressed.  When simply extending or trimming any audio file or music clip, playback stops.  The program still runs, but nothing plays and the playhead updates nothing in the program or source monitors.  You need to wait up to 4 minutes, or reset the program.   The Text/transcription window is buggy as well, often getting locked up when changing from one sequence to another, or attempting to search in the transcript.   Please figure out relinking.  My editor is promted to relink every time he opens the project, even though its all linked and saved, it constantly asks to relink.  And for some reason, even though Premiere clearly knows where files are located, you still need to go through the time consuming process of waiting for Premiere to relink.   Lots of issues in 2025, please update as soon as possible.  I may need

We frequently run into issues where the GPU struggles with certain codecs or formats, and artifacting issues can arise during rendering or exporting to H.264. I.e. glitches and artefacts, which don't appear in the source footage, are present on the footage when exported through Premiere or Media Encoder.This has been an ongoing issue for many years. Transcending operating systems, GPU Drivers and Premiere Pro versions.We've always been able to get around these problems, when encountering them, by switching to 'Software Rendering Only' during export. For some reason, this option has been hidden in recent updates. Meaning that in order to access it, I have to shut down Premiere, and hold the Shift key while re-opening it, just to be able to use the option once. Why? Either from a bin or the source window, Premiere crashes everytime I try to put a clip on a timeline.  I can't work! Resetting preferences or workspaces doesn't do anything.  Deleteing media cache will be a huge problem.  This project has over 15 TBs of media.   Premiere 2022.4 and Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7, working in a Production with 3 other editors.  I'm the only one with this problem.

🚨 Feature Request for Premiere Pro: Smarter Bin Tabs 🚨Why is it that when you have the bin functionality double-click set as open in place.  it opens in the left most panel group, not staying in the panel  group I double clicked in. (usually moves it to the far-left Project panel), even when you’re already working in a tabbed bin setup? We need a simple preference like:“Always open bins as new tabs in the current panel” Furthermore when I am in list view in a bin and I open in place and change the newly opened bin to thumbnail view. When I go back using the back button that previous bin should remain in list view. Why is it making a global thumbnail view change? It messes up workflows, view settings, and muscle memory.

The script is designed to facilitate the process of inserting selected clips from an active sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro into a new sequence. Despite the intended functionality, I am experiencing an issue where clips are being duplicated in the new sequence. The insertion logic seems to be adding clips multiple times, which is not the desired behavior. Does anyone know if Adobe has a best practice for duplicating a production for template purposes? We are editing long-form features and have a production setup that we like. We'd like to have that setup with empty projects in a production that we can duplicate for every film.   It seems if I just simply copy and paste a production in finder it could create duplicate IDs. This shouldn't be a problem since it will be completely separate from the old production but I want to be sure. What I have done so far is to duplicate the production folder in Finder, then go to "open production" in Premiere, open the folder and it asks me if I want to convert the folder system into a production. I assume this assigns new IDs and everything is set up right...but I'm a bit paranoid about these things lol   There aren't any obvious problems stemming from this method but we have been having odd production-related issues that are just too numerous and complicated to post here now lol.

My subject is speaking Spanish. Transcribing to English to use as captions in PremierPro. Using audio track only (A1) and transcribing only from in-point to out-point. The clip is 48 seconds in duration. The transcription appears to be stuck. Showing "Creating auto transcription... Initializing local transcription engine." It has now been running for about 15 minutes. Should it take that long? ***Please note: the selected audio track (A1) is from a MULTI-CAMERA SEQUENCE. Not sure if that should have any adverse effect. Thanks in advance....

I understand and have read many post but am still stumped. I am working on a simple project, with multiple clips, titles ,background audio and a couple of AE added. I have at this point 10 sequences and have started to do the voice overs for each. I had completed three and moved onto four when now my audio waveform is now only showing a single mono track of audio. Yes I can go to the Project panel and modify it to Stereo BUT I have tried everything to reset it so I can record it in Stereo. When I go to Audio channel setting it is greyed out showing Mono but if I go back to the previuos sequence it is Stereo. Am I not seeing something or still missing something. 

I’ve installed Premiere Pro 2025, but I’m getting an error saying: 'Unsupported video driver – NVIDIA GeForce GT 730'. How can I fix this issue? Is the GT 730 no longer supported in the 2025 version?

I am not entirely sure how to explain what is happening, so I have added a video of this weird situation. I have added motion to my talking head video clip to slide to the side when a graphic comes onto the screen. When editing this, there is no space in between files, but the playback will show an all black screen very briefly. It only does this after I have clicked out of Premiere Pro (clicking on a web browser or another application) and back into Premiere, and started the playback. I can replay it again right away after seeing this black screen, and it will NOT be there again (which is in the attached video). It will be there in the final file after exporting. I am working on macOS Sequoia version 15.5. I am on version 24.3 of Premiere Pro since I am not a fan of the recent updates at all. Any idea on how to fix this? Hopefully not by updating to the horrid newest versions. 

Hi everyone, I'm trying to make 2 of my video clips the same size, but the "set to frame size" isn't working. I saw another post about this saying to get rid of the clip attributes, and I tried that, but it didn't work either. Can anyone help? I am new to Premiere Pro, so it could also be my own user error. Thanks!
