I experienced a strange error today in Adobe Premiere Pro 2018 (version 12.1.1) in which I duplicated a sequence, made some edits, and then in one of my clips, there was consistently a random frame popping up from another, earlier clip in the sequence. When I toggled frame by frame, I could still see this same random frame pop up (even though I was looking at a clip that definitely doesn't include that frame). After a few seconds, though, Premiere would suddenly change the frame to the correct one. But it would never go away when playing the sequence.I tried restarting Premiere (and my entire computer), and I tried changing the Playback resolution to 1/4. Nothing worked. I decided to delete the sequence and make another copy. This time, everything was fine. Does anyone know what caused this weird bug? Does this mean that my project is somehow corrupt? Instale la ultima version de ADOBE PREMIER PRO y no puedo iniciar el programa. Reinstale una version anterior (2024) y sigo con el mismo problema. (archivo Mfplat.DLL) Adjunto una captura del error.  Ayuda por Favor!!!

Hi, i am trying to use my sony FX6 intern recording proxies in premiere pro and it doesn't work. It says it is not the same audio settings on the rushes. Rush has 8 audio chanels. And if i try to create proxies with encoder...i cannot because of the format...i supposed problem is the mxf format.So how can i use proxies for my workflow?

Is there a way to get uniform sizes for a crop? I have three speakers in a Zoom and I am placing them side by side but I want the boxes to be uniform. I cannot see actual dimensions for the crop. Is there a way to say, I want every clip to be 360 pixels by 400 pixels etc? Then I drag them into alignment?

I'm not sure if this is a problem with my environment or what, but I'm having trouble with the "Toggle Transform Direct Manipulation" and "Toggle Crop Direct Manipulation" keyboard shortcuts apparently when assigned to specific keys. If no one else can reproduce it then it's probably something on my end 🤔 🤔 TL;DR: Basically the "G" key without modifiers (not sure about any other keys) doesn't seem to work to toggle direct manipulation modes from the timeline - the program monitor panel must be active for it to work. Hi guys,  Since I updated premiere pro, I have been missing the bars, i dont know how to call them, which allow you to moove up or down, left and right, on the video, which is usefull when you zoom in and want to moove object precisly. Any help?

Hey,Whenever I open my project in premiere pro, I get the error message above. I have already been looking for solutions, but opening an auto-saved file or a save file from earlier, it still gives me the same error message. I cannot even get into the project screen to save it to another place.PLEASE HELP.

Hello,  seit paar Updates buggt der Audio Spuren Mischer komplett. Es kommt nur links ein kleiner Ausschnitt, aber der Rest ist weg. Die Lösung ist dann immmer Neustart.  Ich hoffe, das wird behoben. Und immer noch ein fetter Wunsch: endlich auch die Spuren-Effekte als Preset speichern können, oder hab ich da was übersehen?  Liebe Grüße, Alex

Hello, I have been working on a project fine for a couple of weeks, recently (last few days) when I open the project it does this thing on the task manager where the memory useage slowly risesto 100% and then my internal secondary HDD rising to 100% usage causing my computer to bluescreen - the HDD holds a couple files from the project but a lot of the files are mostly scattered around my internal SSD. I have tried importing the project into a new project but that doesn't work, so I just imported selected sequences, paying close attention to the memory usage, it spikes a little but not that much, then as soon as I open the sequence that I am working on the memory begins climbing again, I have tested out other projects with random footage and they work fine, I have film impact and maxon universe installed but both of those work fine in other projects with no issues so I cannot pinpoint where the memory leak is occurring and I need some help... also prp does not respond to me cappin

I have imported a movie as asset to Premiere Pro and created some clips in a sequence from it. Many parts of the original movie are in various places on the timeline, they are trimmed etc..When the video is almost finished, I realized that the original audio contained in the original movie is incorrect and I have to replace it with another audio file, which is of identical length and already imported to the project. But I don't see an option to replace audio source from an audio track.I know it's possible to unlink video and audio, but it doesn't solve the problem. When right-click on a single clip (after unlinking, it is only audio track of a clip) in the timeline and choosing Properties, there is File Path which points to the original movie file. I'd like to change the file path so that it points to my new audio asset file.Is there any way to do it other than delete all existing audio tracks from the timeline and create them from the beginning, using the new audio asset as source and

Can someone explain why default video transitions are greyed out and unavailable?  Premiere2025Windows 11 I am baffled. Is there a way to reinstall them without having to do the reset prefreences thing? TIA

I've been trying to find an answer for this but I'm not able to. So my problem is that when I try to change a dragable setting with my mouse in let's say the effects controls windows it's stuck for quite a while, almost like a snap, before I can move it. So let's say I'm trying to change the opacity value. I click on the 100%, my mouse changes icon and I drag left or right. It doesn't do anything until I drag quite a bit more when it suddenly jumps quite a big value leap. So let's say I wanna fine tune the opacity down to about 95%. Then I have to drag hard so it moves from it's semi-locked/snapped 100% so it gets to like 70% or lower and then move it up carefully. Super annoying and I don't have any problem with this in AE, Illustrator or PS. Dunno what's up, didn't find anything in preferences about it. Thanks!

This is so complex to even try to word but I'm finding it very confusing. I'll call my projects 'P'.   Basically I have P1 and P2. I started with just P1 open but wanted to drag some files in from P2 whilst still keeping P1 open . I then closed Premiere and must have only saved the P2 section, and now when I open P1, the only thing that opens is P2. This doesn't make any sense to me as I'm sure that even if you have multiple projects open, it's supposed to save P2 as P2 even if there are other projects open at the same time. What seems to have happened, however, is that it's overwritten P1 and now P1 just doesn't exist, but how does this happen if they're separate projects? Yes, I didn't save P1 but why is it not just opening P1 in its latest form?   What makes this more frustrating is that I assumed if it was going to behave like this, then maybe at least I would find P1 within this file that has now been overwritten as P2, but it's just completely gone.

So... I have a very simple graphic page with lines of text. In my sequence, everything looks fine. But, upon export, the exported file appears to have random letters that are of a different thickness. It looks as if some of the letters are let's say "Roboto Medium" instead of "Roboto Bold." Again, it looks perfectly fine in Premiere. Nothing weird on the export settings - Just the pre-baked "High quality 1080 HD" setting. 

When editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, it doesn't pause on playback, full-screen or composite. The pause originally clicked for can take up to 1min or more to occur. The "No-Pause Experience" especially happens after the first 60secs of video playback, but while less often, it can even occur within the first 60secs as well. This is the first video I've attempted to edit on this device. Hola,Necesito ayuda con un proyecto de Adobe Premiere Pro. Estaba usando la última versión de Premiere Pro en Windows 11.Qué pasó:Estaba editando un video y guardaba todo en una tarjeta microSD. De repente, la tarjeta falló y los archivos se dañaron. Premiere me daba errores y ya no podía usar la tarjeta.Por suerte, tenía una copia del archivo del proyecto (el editable de Premiere). También volví a descargar todos los videos originales.El Problema Ahora:Cuando intento abrir esa copia del proyecto en la última versión de Premiere Pro (la de 2025), no funciona. No abre o da algún error.Lo raro es que probé abrir ese MISMO archivo en una versión más vieja de Premiere (la 2021), ¡y ahí SÍ ABRE! Puedo ver mi video y todo parece estar bien.Mi Pregunta:¿Por qué pasa esto? ¿Por qué el archivo abre en el Premiere viejo pero no en el nuevo, si se supone que es un proyecto del nuevo?¿Hay algo que pueda hacer para que el archivo funcione en la última versión de Premiere Pro y poder seguir editando

while working in premiere pro 2025 the player head so laggy i can't preview or play the footages, everthing is freezed.

I'm hoping to automate modifying the camera label of each clip in my project so that it corresponds to the bin they are in. For example: Bin 1 'Camera 1' contains 514 clips in and I'd like all clips to have the camera label 'Camera 1' Bin 2 'Camera 2' contains 354 clips in and I'd like all clips to have the camera label 'Camera 2' and so on for 12 Camera bins. I'd then like to create a multicam sequence for each camera bin and then one big multicam sequence which contains all the cameras. I've been having a look at ExtendScript Developer and getting ChatGPT to write the code but it isnt working. I'd like to know if its possible and has anyone had success in doing it or something similar?

When I have multiple layers of audio in a sequence, I'm not able to nest them together. Is their any way or work around to do that? 

Hi everyone. Thanks for your help. I'm trying to upload a Premiere Pro sequence to a folder in my CC library, but every time I drag the file over to the library panel, nothing happens. I can't upload any other files in Premiere Pro either but I can upload files to my library in the creative cloud app and in my other adobe apps.  Does anyone know how to solve this? Many thanks.
