This is on Premiere 25.2.3 on a MacBook Pro 2020 and an iMac 2020 both running the latest macOS Sequoia 15.5. On the MacBook Pro 2020 I used Premiere to create proxies from XAVC UHD MP4 clips that I had used "Interpret Footage" to change the stereo audio track to dual mono. This process proceeded as usual. However, once I moved the created proxies and Premiere project file to my iMac 2020 on a different volume (where I have to reattach the clips), now I get this error when trying to reconnect to the proxies. I used a portable drive (a Samsung T9) to copy the project to off my RAID for use in the MacBook Pro to create the proxies. When I connect the T9 to my iMac, I can load up the project no problem, so this seems solely due to a bug in the re-linking process when the footage is moved to a different volume.
I don't know what you'd call this but I'd like to have a subject show up in two spots in the same room. I've recorded the two parts but I have no idea how to seamlessly edit them together without a line in the middle. Help please.
Some of our team switched from Windows 11 to Mac, during an adaptation of a last year project we've noticed a significant degradation of quality in videos with Gaussian blur applied.Attached you find a picture of comparison, the project is the same and the renders are both done with the exact parameters:Quicktime Prores 422 LT 1920x1080 25fps The left one is rendered on a Windows 11 machine The right one on a Macbook Pro M4 Both are using the latest version of Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
Hi there.I have the same issue "Subtitles not appearing in Premiere Pro" but in v25.2.3. When click on the wrench icon, there is no Choose Closed Caption Display option. Branched from old thread by mod
Estou tendo problemas ao editar arquivos .mov, pois o audio começa a dar estralinhos, e é só nesse tipo de arquivo. No mp4 por exemplo nao tem esse problema. Porem eu praticamente só edito .mov. alguem pode me ajudar?
HiI have problems exporting my video in H.264 in premiere pro. I get the notification 'selector 9 error code 3'.I have a Asus Vivobook 14 with an i5 processor. Before the summer, I had never problems exporting video's to that format. Now I am not able to export it in H.264My adobe and premiere pro are updated to the latest version. So this will not be the issue. How do I solve this problem?Thank you in advance!
Hey all, I just finished working on a long project and my timeline is at about 50 minutes of media. I rendered and exported my project but now have to go back in and make more edits but the timeline is lagging extremely bad. Hitting play takes a good 5-10 seconds to actually play and really doing anything in the project is extremely slow. Same effects I use in all my other projects, Lumetri Color, a few audio plugins that have been rendered already, and just a few transition effects. I've tried a new sequence, new project, clearing cache, and just about every performance setting but same issues happen. I edit in Premiere every day and never have any issues like this. This project was much longer than my normal work but don't think that should really make that big of a difference with my system. I've tried opening other projects and they all run like normal. Any help would greatly appreciated! System Specs:Windows 11AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
I shot my videos using the Osmo Pocket 3 in HEVC format, 1920x1080 resolution at 29.97fps. Since the original files were quite large, I decided to transcode them using Adobe Media Encoder to H.264 with “Match Source – High Bitrate” settings to create proxy files. After that, I created a sequence in Premiere Pro using the encoded files. My editing was fairly simple — I sped up the clips to 150%, made some cuts, and removed unnecessary parts. However, after each cut or speed change, I keep getting the “Render Required” message and have to wait around 10 seconds every time I play the timeline. This keeps interrupting the editing flow, and it feels unnecessary given the lightweight edits. Why does this keep happening, even though I’m using proxies and doing relatively simple edits? Is there a better workflow I should follow to avoid constant rendering?
Fairly new Premiere Pro (25.2.3, macOs) user here. I realize that my source videos (talking-head) want to be processed in the same way wherever they appear on the timeline: loudness, de-reverb, color corrections, fixing camera tilt, etc. If I were to place the source clip into a sequence, then apply those effects before chopping it up to edit, I'd have lost the ability to change the effect parameters globally, which would be a big loss. (Aside: I do know about Source Effects, but they're not allowed for audio (why???), so I'm looking for alternatives) I figured that nesting sequences would be a way around this issue: I could create one sequence that's just the effects-applied source material, then place that one in my final sequence, and chop it up without worrying about effects getting out of sync. However... am I losing quality by doing this? (On the final export; I don't care so much about the preview.) I don't know how Premiere internally manages its data paths,
I have a multicam sequence with 3 cameras and 2 audio tracks. When I insert a clip into the timeline it only pulls the combined tracks but two of them. I need to edit the individual tracks in a timeline. I've changed the Audio Channels to mono and back to stereo and back again. It's clearly pulling to separate tracks into the There are other multicam sequence that I'm putting into the timeline that are pulling correctly that have the same setting. Please HELP?!!????
Hello Adobe Community,I've been video editing off of an 8TB Seagate Expansion SW (SRD0NF2) for a while now. I'm editing H.265 files and when I've tested the drive the read/write speed is more than enough for these files. My cache is sizable (90Gb) and placed on my 2024 Macbook Pro's internal SSD. Now, I am working with a very large ongoing project, totaling about 7TB of video files and assets. But I only actively use a few select files at a time (sequences are less than 5mins tops). The drive is Mac formatted. The issues:- Premiere seems to only load the files immediately near the playhead. When I stop to grade an image and then request playback on the previous few clips, I notice that the HDD has to spin up again.- Premiere seems to spin down the external drive when I switch windows (CMD+Tab) to view a message in slack or email, even if it's like 15 seconds.- The drive will spin down if I stop or pause too long on a clip.- I have to constantly be preforming playback or moving the playh
I have various shapes within the timeline all created in a specific colour. However, all of these need to now be in a different colour (still all the same colour). Is there a way to update the colours all at once without clicking on these shapes individually? Whenever I click on more than one graphic, the Essential Graphics panel shows nothing and the Effects Control panel states "Multiple clips selected."It can't be that difficult to implement this mass change similar to the Text where I can mass update the font and colour.Example 1: When one graphic shape is selectedExample 2: When two or more graphic shapes are selected. Now a blank.
I am switching from one Mac to another (using my work Adobe ID) and am trying to "Sync Settings", meaning I'd like to upload my Premiere settings (specifically, my Workspaces and View Presets) to my work Adobe ID's Creative Cloud, then download those settings onto the other Mac. It feels like "Sync Settings" keeps being moved from one Premiere version to another and I always have trouble finding it. I think it used to be on the Start Page, or the Premiere Pro menu; but I can't find them there anymore. I tried searching "Sync Settings" in the Premiere Forum and a bunch of unrelated posts came up. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks again for this terrific and helpful Forum!
I have been editing for hours and now Images aren't showing up. IT'S NOT THE RED " MEDIA OFFLINE" all my files are found in the folder but the images just won't show up. The only images I can see are previous edits of images I put into the timeline hours previous. Now if I make and edit to them again they will just not show up. Please need help this assignment is due tonight and none of the bots will help me.
Summary of troubleshooting steps for GPU crashes with Adobe Premiere Pro in Windows 11:After Premiere playback crashed my computer multiple times (black screen, raging GPU fans), I installed a new matching GPU (AMD Radeon RX590 8GB). Installed the latest GPU drivers and re-installed all AMD chipset drivers.Device Manager shows no issues with GPU.Used the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove Adobe software, but encountered errors during the process. Logs attached.Manually deleted all Adobe folders to ensure a clean uninstall.Reinstalled Creative Cloud and Adobe Premiere Pro.Rolled back Premiere Pro to version 25.2.1.Disabled GPU acceleration in Premiere settings.Attempted to change playback engine, but the option is greyed out and stuck on “Mercury Playback Engine CPU Acceleration.”Tried creating a fresh project instead of the one I really need to work on. No difference.Used Windows system settings to force Adobe Premiere Pro to use my AMD Radeon RX590 GPU.The new test project see
I am having a seriosu issue with Premiere Pro that started several days ago. Basically, everything will be fine. I can edit fine just like I normally would any other time but now after dragging any new clip into any timeline of any project, the project will completely stop working. The playhead can still be moved and everything is clickable, but when you press play, nothing will happen. The only option is to quit the software and when it quits, it then freezes and must be force closed. When you reopen the project, the new clip added will usually be in there but you have to do this every time you add a new clip, so it is pretty much impossible to work with this issue. I am using an iMac with 24GB of RAM and i7 processor. I was running Catalina (which I recently upgraded to). After hours of failed attemps at fixing the issue from one Adobe rep via screenshare, I evern tried downgrading to Mojave. Same issue still happens on Mojave. I have tried other versions of Premiere and this is
I had premiere pro on my computer previously, worked fine with no problems. Recently my computer was wiped, and none of my apps were still there. Illustrator installed fine, but premiere says I'm not compatible. I am fine with the older version, so is it possible to install the older version? All tutorials require me to already have the current version, because I need the "other versions" option.
I have had trouble finding a fix for my export. I have tried going to the project settings to change the Mercury Acceleration setting but the mercury playback engine option is grayed out. I have been looking everywhere for a fix. I am on Windows 11. Please help me
I am using a Mac Mini using Sequoia 15.3.2 with a 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 processor with 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 memory. My project is no longer saving as I work or when I do it manually. I continually get "Project Save Error," which tells me that an unknown error occurred while saving the project and that I should use Save As to save in a new location. When I do this, it says the same thing again. I will go to the file where I saved it, and it will show the project but will not open it. I was using 25.1 yesterday, then updated to 25.2, and suddenly I can no longer export the videos I was exporting. Every time Media Encoder exports it, it goes through the usual process but exports a file with no data.
Hi guys I am trying to descrease/increase level of clip's audio using extendScript, what can be the problem here? function setAudioLevel(volume){ var activeSequence = app.project.activeSequence; var track = activeSequence.audioTracks[0] for (var i = 0; i < track.clips.length; i++) { var prop = track.clips[i].components[0].properties[1] prop.setTimeVarying(false) var value = prop.getValue() // returns 0.17782793939114 while interface shows 0.0 track.clips[i].components[0].properties[1].setValue(volume)// if volume is -3 it will set to infinity } }
Hi,Is there a way one can combine two clips to make them look seamless using generative extend or AI?I need to clip a few dialogues from the original clip to make it shorter and end it with the closing dialogue.
I often switch between my MacBook Pro (2021) and iMac (2017) because the MacBook is easier to use remotely, whereas I have a proper desk setup for my iMac. I've recently noticed an issue that I'm having though when I come to colour correcting/grading my projects. Most of the time I will do this process on my MacBook, just because its a better display and more powerful in performance but sometimes I prefer the larger monitor so I'll use the iMac. I understand that these two are different displays and run of different graphic components, processors blah blah... but I'm struggling to work out why Premiere is showing different Lumetric Scopes depending on the device? Surely both projects should keep the settings and therefore the Lumetri Colour and Scopes should both represent the same values but i'm finding that my iMac is pulling down a lot on the Shadows and Blacks from what I have edited on my MacBook, even though the Basic Correction settings are exactly the same.
