I have an AE composition that is linked to + replacing a clip in Premiere. It was working fine as I saved it over the last 2 weeks - showing updates on the Premiere timeline. When I finally finished the AE composition and saved it - I went to Premiere and it now shows up as black. It says the composition is online, but it's just black - the AE composition looks fine to me in AE, and i don't know why it's showing up black in Premiere.  Here are things I've tried:1 - Check solo layers - not that2- Update all software - didn't help3- Clear cache - didn't help4- Check layer visibility - not that5- Preview showing video.6- Changed to Full Playback resolution - not that I'm new to AE - and was excited at how the dynamic link worked, until it didn't. I put so much time into this AE composition i really don't want to start over.

Der Startbildschirm lädt aber sobald ich etwas auswähle stürzt das Programm ab, egal ob ich Neues Projekt auswähle oder versuche einen Systemkompatibiltätscheck versuche auszuführen oder irgendetwas anderes. Hat das ggf. etwas damit zu tun dass ich jetzt eine X3D CPU von AMB verwende mit eigener Grafikkarte in Verbindung mit einer NVIDIEA Grafikkarte?

I've been trying out the Generative AI fill tool but I've run into an issue with where it saves the rendered media. I thought it would save within the project but it doesn't (at least for me). It's saving to the adobe folder in my OneDrive.Specifically: C:\Users\[my name]\OneDrive\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\25.0\Adobe Premiere Pro Captured and Generated.Is this just a simple setting I don't know about? How can I get the generative AI to save within the project? Thanks!!!

 Creating subtitles in Dutch are a nightmare, more than 50% percent of the outcome is not correct.Is there a way to help improving the AI of the Dutch language in Premiere Pro ? At the moment i am investigating the use of premiere pro in the evaluation period upto april 10th.At the moment premiere pro is the last program all others cant to anything with Dutch. PowerDirectory 365 even stated Dutch was supported, but after a month of asking the helpdesk why the connection was broken with the server after 20% they told me that the Dutch language was no longer supported and that that it already had been implemented without them knowing it !!! Davinci Resolve doesnt even react to my questions. hope i can help the implementation of the Dutch Language RegardsPaul  

Hi, I have two questions regarding the TIMELINE INTERFACE: 1) when i select a clip on the timeline, is there a way to set the highlight to a specific color OR make it more visible?(for instance, when selecting a tan clip, the highlight is extremely subtle) 2) before the timeline label color changes that were made last month, i preferred the previous appearance of the cross dissolve icons on the timeline (again, more visible). is there a way to get my cross dissolve icons on the timeline to appear brighter, etc? Thanks!

Now DaVinci has the Magic Mask tool, and it's really magical. Select part of an image or a subject, and boom, it selects it. When will Premiere have a similar tool instead of the primitive pen tool for selection?  Unless you are thinking: 'Oh boy, those Resolve people are too advanced for us, so let us focus on trivial matters such as changing the highlight color of icons or adding more options to clip colors!' Also, the color "new" panel is more complicated than before, is there any update on that?

Hi, this is my first week using Adobe Premiere Pro and managed to make a whole video (40 mins). I was working on it, adding some audio, when suddenly it disappeared from my program and my timeline screens.  I have restarted the program, reset to saved layout, cleared my cache, looked everywhere but can no longer see or edit my video in timeline.  However, I just discovered that the whole video is exactly as I last saved it as an "IMG" in my Project screen, along with other of my downloads that went into creating this video.  When I click the IMG (which is my whole video) I can watch it in my source screen but still unable to see it in my timeline or my program screens. The audio, everything, is exactly as I left it. When I tried dragging the IMG file (the video) from Project into Timeline it looks like a short clip and won't play.  What's going on? How could I have been working on it fine one moment and then everything screwed up suddenly? Can I restore it so I can

So im making a fortnite montage in premire pro and im downloading presets and the importing them into my effects bar but its only loading the folder name not the actual content i want. Do any of you know hot to fix this?

This has been an issue on and off for a while but now nothing works to fix the issue. I cannot do a voice over. When I select my microphone I get MME device internal error. I read in for the forum to switch to no input which worked the first time I got the error but now it does not.The record button is grayed out and I cannot do a voice over. I searched everywhere in this forum but I never found a solution about this :On Premiere, and only on Premiere Pro, when I want to import some files (with Files > Import or Ctrl+I), windows search opens, but whatever I type on search bar, it shows nothing. Same for every other folder of my computer.I tried everything, even resetting search / indexing functions on windows 10 and it changed nothing. And when I use the search function directly on windows or even on Photoshop when importing files, it works without issues. I tried in the exact same folders and it works perfectly, but not in Premiere Pro. So... can someone help me about this ?My windows 10 is up to date, and I use last version of both Photoshop and Premiere and it still doesn't work on Premiere (even in previous versions), while it stills works fine on Photoshop 😕😕Thank you

I've made some MOGRT on after effects 2024 that allowed me to use placeholder media and make the replacement directly on premiere. After updating to the newer version, i cannot replace this placeholder anymore, not dragging and not even with the options menu (that have all options disabled). I've already reexported the files using the new versions of both softwares, and it is still not working. Is it a bug or the the way this clips are replaced have changed?

How can I convert all the subclips in my sequence to link to the source file? I managed to do it for one subclip by selecting it on the project window, right-clicking, and choosing “Edit Subclip.” A window popped up, and I checked “Convert to Source File” and hit “OK.” The file was converted to the source file, but it still had the file name “subclip.” So, I copied the source file name and pasted it on the previously subclipped files. Now, the shot in the sequence was updated. Next, I selected the shot, right-clicked, and chose “Replace with Clip -- from Bin” to ensure it points to the original source file on the project level. Is there a way to do this in bulk? I can’t select multiple subclips on the project window at once and update them.

I have 50 keyframes in the Effect Controls panel (1 keyframe for each word of text) and 6 frames between each keyframe.  How do I change the spacing between each keyframe from 6 frames to 10 frames without manually changing/moving one by one?  Thanks for your help on this!

MY PC: i7 12700, 3080 Ti, 32 GB RAM HyperX CL14, 3x M.2 Gen 5.(Yeah, I’ve got a pretty solid rig.)   Hey guys, I usually edit with two monitors, and performance is great — well, almost great. It could always be better. Nesting clips, for example, isn’t as fast as I’d like.   So here's the thing: I decided to try editing with just one screen... and Premiere runs incredibly smooth. Nesting, playback — everything feels buttery.But... why? It doesn’t make any sense. I’ve looked all over YouTube and can’t find a clear answer. I'm not using Mercury Playback Engine, and I’ve already optimized quite a few settings in Premiere. I’d really like to hear your thoughts on this. I want to go back to editing with two monitors, but after seeing this massive performance difference, I’m just like...C'mon! Seriously!?

The scene detection isn't working. I've rebooted, removed, and added the clip and nested it. Nothing is working.  What is the fix for this issue? I've attached a small screen recording.

Hello, So I recorded a vlog using 2 seramonic mics that plug into a reciever via iphone, and when i'm editing the footage now there is only one audio channel (I understand why), but the audio from one mic is playing into the left ear and the other mic is playing into the right ear. When I try to fix it in audio channels, it ends up making only one ear the sterio sound while playing the same mono audio into the other. Can anyone help make the mics stereo?

Hello everyone, I'm faily new to this video editing thing but I am having trouble speeding my clips up passed 199%. Whenever I put 200% in speed duration, my clip is replaced by another clip in the sequence... I've seen videos of people boosting it up to 600%. Am I doing something wrong?  Everything is pretty much default settings.. I upgraded my iMAC with a. SSD and 32GB of RAM so i dont think it's hardware related.. I have this issue in Premiere Pro AND Premiere Rush Thank you for your support!

Hello, I can't put videos - mp4, on the timeline. It works if I select at least two and drag them. I work with Premier Pro 2025, but it has happened to me on other versions as well.

Hi everybody, last week a student of mine got a message while opening his premiere project saying some color correction features required a premiere pro account, with prompts to either continue or close the project.The problem is strange cause all my students have it cause we're all using k12 accounts. What could have caused this? Thanks in advance
