Hi! I've been editing for years on PP but never have been able to find an answer to this, so I've had a lame workaround for about 7 years. 90% of the time, I click the little dead space between clips, hit delete and they snap together. But sometimes, they don't and I have to employ my workaround, copying the entire right side of the timeline and moving it all over. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!
After switching to the latest version of adobe premiere pro, I started facing this issue.Whenever I am trying to launch Adobe premiere pro, the welcome screen appears followed by an error Pop showing the below error.Tried everything to resolve this issue but all turned out to be useless...If anyone knows solutions to this error please share ASAP.Below are the solutions I have tried, that didn't worked for me.1) Uninstalling premiere and installing a lower version then upgrading to the latest one.2) Resetting the preference while launching the app by pressing Shift key on keyboard.3) Unstalling and installing premiere followed by a restart of my PC.Other adobe applications are working fine for me, it's just premiere is causing trouble. Here are my system config:Premiere Pro version 25.0Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700 CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHzRAM: 16 GBWindows Edition: Windows 11 Pro 64 BitVersion 23H2Graphics: Intel UHD 1 GB.Thank you in advance.
Hello, I am currently using a plugin built on the CEP framework with Premiere Pro versions 22 to 24. As I am testing the environment to update Premiere, I found that the plugin does not run in Premiere Pro 2025. Would the execution error report be stored in the UXPLogs_date.log file located at $HOME/Library/Logs/Adobe/Adobe Premiere Pro 2025? Additionally, I understand that Photoshop and InDesign have already transitioned from CEP to UXP. I would like to know if Adobe has plans to transition Premiere Pro as well. Since I need to develop accordingly, it would be helpful if you could provide an official roadmap regarding this transition. Thank you.
I can not comprehend how someone could design a darkmode is not a dark mode let alone a darkest mode that still has glairing white menues!! WTF.
It looks like my Autosave isn't working since the last update.I have the Autosave set to every 5 minutes and keep a max of 20 versions. Just had a problem where I had to go back. Autosave hans't been saving anything for 2 weeks. Lost all the work I did today that I was hoping to recover through the autosave. Version: 25.1.0Platform: Window 11 ProSteps: do work and watch it no autosaveExpected results - after working all day in PR - I was expecting autosave entries in the "Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save folder"
Hi everyone,I'm trying to add subtitles to my video in Premiere Pro, but I'm facing an issue. I originally transcribed my video in Portuguese, then generated an English transcription, which I now want to import as a TXT subtitle file. However, Premiere Pro doesn't allow me to select Import > Transcribed Caption for my TXT file.

Hi everyone,I’m using a Contour Multimedia Controller mapped to the Adobe Premiere Pro timeline, with a jog for scrubbing back and forth. The problem is that if I click on another panel (e.g., to edit a mask or adjust an effect), the jog stops working because Premiere loses focus on the timeline. To make it work again, I have to manually click back on the timeline, which disrupts my workflow. Is there a way to keep the jog functional regardless of where I click inside Premiere? Maybe a setting in the controller software or a workaround using third-party tools? Thanks in advance for any help! 😊
So I've used premiere for a long time, since shortly before FCP became the X junk. I use VERY often and love the feature where you can hit the tilda key while over any window to quickly make it "full screen" (or fill the Premiere window anyway). When I learned of this years ago it was a game changer. It seems since a recent update now when I do this in the program window, where it's most useful to quickly blow up and look at my edit it no longer actually scales the sequence with the window. The window it self does scale up larger but the program remains a tiny image in the middle of the screen and you have to zoom into it to make it full screen... If you do that and hit it again then it's overly large and cropped outside the window. So it's basically useless for a quick look in a larger window now. It's really infuriating. I use this a lot because this speeds up my workflow. I can click around and when I need to I can hover there and hit tilda and quickly see my progr
Hi! Your feature to enhance speech is amazing. Only worry I have is about GDPR here in the EU. Can you please tell me if the service is GDPR compliant, and whether the servers are situated in the EU? Thank you!
Folks, I'm at about the end of my rope here, and any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.I spent all of last Saturday stringing together a ~22 minute personal project in Adobe Premiere Pro for Windows 10, and finally got done editing tonight. I am a beginner that just downloaded the trial last week, but do have some brief video editing experience from middle school on Mac.When I went to export the file, for some reason it kept only exporting one frame of the full project. Shortly after the second time this failed and I tried to get back into my Premier Pro window, the software crashed and subsequently crashed my PC. I didn't send an error report because I didn't think this was going to spiral into an out of control issue (I had several tabs open in Chrome at the time and chalked it up to that). When I opened Adobe PP back up upon reboot and recovered the timeline of my project, I got a media offline error for a number of clips I had imported into the project area that I
I hoping the experts here can help with a problem I'm having today. I'm sure there is a simple fix or explanation but it's alluding me and the sound technician. He recorded to a Sound Devices mixer at 23.976 and Camera at 23.976 and Slate showing the Timecode for takes. When I import the video and wav files place them in a 23.976 sequence and sync the files using Audio Channel one, the WAV files timecode no longer matches the Slate Video Timecode. Sometimes around 54 seconds off. I conducted a test on my own Sound Devices today and also have the exact same thing, mine was less around 14 secs offset from the video showing the timecode on the mixer. So the mixer shows 04:00:50:07 the waveform file recorded and then synced shows 04:01:04:19. I'm missing something here and can't figue it out. If I try to use timecode to sync the camera to the wav file it does not work. It's off by that same 00:00:14:12. We both checked and the devices are running at NDF 23.976 recor
Look, there are many ways to get motion blur and please don't judge me, I am just a begginer (I assume) who wants to get smooth motion blur. these are the techniques I know about: 1) Through frame blending ( recording in high frame rates and exporting in 60 FPS ) 2) Through RSMB which you need to buy (I've done that) and looks really good and natural. 3) Use the both mentioned above to get the best effects ( I think because I haven't tried rsmb without frame blending ) Problems I've experienced with all of these : 1) It looks kinda choppy and laggy alone with no other effects (and also I cannot record in more than 100 FPS cuz hardware) 2) It looks smooth but takes 10 minutes just to render 10 - 30 seconds of gaming footage (I recorded in 100 FPS and rendered it in 60 FPS ) 3) It looks the best best but takes 15 - 20 minutes to render 10 - 30 seconds of footage (look above for the FPS recorded and rendered in ) So overall I can't make a gaming mo
I can't find any export settings that would make it VR? I am using the newest version of Premiere. Also when I reuploaded this same video again, it showed normal on youtube and I didn't change ANYTHING
The Program Monitor constantly keeps lagging in Premiere Pro. Whether its a clip or PNG it will lag and or buffer. There is an example below.
Hi! I'm doing the simplest graphics for a short cooperate film- a layer based timeline showing different important moments in the company history. I made the layers in photoshop and imported it into Premiere. I nested the layer to make them move the same and used keyframe position markers to make the timeline move into the frame > slow down > glide for a while > and then rush out.But during the ""gliding" part, it suddenly decides to change direction and glide back i bit than change direction again and fall in to the right path all dough i did´t added any keyframes telling it to do so. Why? My psd- file has the proportions 2200x1080 - i needed the extra pixels to "glide on" - but i can't see that i would be a problem.I imported the psd-file as a sequense. In my nested sequence I added a title layer with all the text graphic.
Recently I subscribed to One drive meaning that now the cloud is a big part of my 'IT'! I started a project following a cruise. But I encountered this problem.Only a few .mp4 are affected. I read that perhaps the cloud has something to do with it. So I copied these files (actually all of them) on my desktop new folder. and upon restarting the project relinked them to my new folder. All good....But not on restart they're all again unlinked !
I create a sequence and drag my clip and i only have audio in my left ear, but my clip shows that i have audio in both left and right. Need help.
I have GPU Acceleration enabled, should be exporting fine. This Effect requires GPU Acceleration" title card shown on exports, it won't export any effects properly EVEN with Hardware Encoding and GPU acceleration enabled. So many issues with NVIDIA GPU's and Adobe.
I want to create flashes like this in Euphoria S201: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8-fMRf7Z8c. Can anyone help me edit to get this effect?? I want it to start in the center and grow out.
Hello there, Am I the only one struggling with exporting SRT files with the wrong timecodes since Premiere Pro 2022 was released? For example, on my timeline (starts at 10:00:00:00) the first caption arrives at 10:00:02:05 and when exporting this as an SRT file, the first caption arrives at 10:00:38,210 (PrPro added +36 sec to the timecodes). When I'm exporting the captions as a text file (.txt) I can see the right timecode. So, what's going on with the SRT output? Here's a screenshot of the exported files (.srt vs .txt): My version of Premiere Pro:2.2.0 (Build 128) My computer:MacBook Pro (Apple M1 Max)Memory 64 GBmacOS Montereyversion 12.1 Thank you in advance.Best
This has been answered before, but no solution is working... Ever since the new update my extension tab is greyed out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all adobe products, I've hit shift on my way into adobo to clear the cache, I've updated all extensions. Still Greyed out.
As the post says, I cannot find a way to grant Premiere Pro access in Security & Privacy, as it asks. I looked up the issue and found a solution for the Public folder, but I cannot find a solution for the Movies folder. Can anyone help, or does anyone else have this issue?I added an attachment of the message I'm seeing.
I'm using Premiere Pro v.14.3.1, and I'm working with a program that has multiple audio channels. However, I can't hear the audio coming out of Ch. 3 or Ch. 4, only Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 are audible. I have tried changing a number of settings with no avail. Do you have any idea about this?
📌 My System Specs: GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090 (Latest Studio Driver) CPU: Intel Core 9 (Latest Generation) RAM: 32GB Storage: NVMe SSD OS: Windows 11 (Up to Date) Premiere Pro Version: Latest Available 🔹 The Problem: When playing back video (even simple 1080p MP4) or using "Render and Replace", the CPU reaches 100% while the GPU usage remains extremely low (below 30%). and playback having trouble starting and dropping frames.📌 This happens with all video formats, including MP4 (H.264/H.265) and even after transcoding to ProRes.📌 "Video Decode" in GPU-Z stays (most of the time) at 0% during playback in Premiere, indicating that Premiere isn’t sending decoding tasks to the GPU.📌 In FurMark stress tests, the GPU reaches 94%, proving that there is no hardware issue. 🔹 What I Have Already Tried (and the Issue Persists): 1️⃣ Premiere Pro GPU Settings:✔ Renderer is set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)".✔ Disabled Mu
