I am having an issue not recognizing the Kona 4 for playback. Does recognize Kona 4 for audio.Adobe Premier Pro 25.1.0 (build 73)Kona 4 firmware: 17.1.3.333Mac Pro Rack 2019, OS 10.15.2, IntelNo errors on Adobe System Compatibility Report I can confirm that no other software is utilizing the SDI output at the same time. I confirmed that AJA Control Room works as expected, no issues. This seems to be isolated to Premier Pro. I tried looking at older posts solutions and were for versions multiple years old. Not sure when this broke. This machine isn't used for this but we discovered it in an emergency that we could not playback in Adobe. I tried unstalling Adobe and AJA. Reinstall the AJA software, with updated firmware. Then re-install adobe PP and Media Encoder, and still no luck. Adobe Premier Pro did do a GPU update once I relaunched, but no luck. Thanks in advance, Matt

I have an old project that I've just recently re-mastered - from avi 720x576 to ProRes 422 1080p. The frame size and position between the two versions of software is different. EG: In PPro 2022at 10:19:44:10 (and everywhere else) the image is 261 uniform scale, 996w & 540h. As you can see in a still frame from 2022.jpg, it fills the complete frame. However, on importing into 2025 I get the following frame - 2025.jpg - which is also 261 uniform scale, 996w & 540h. I'm at a loss to know what is going on.

Hey, guys, I´ve been using Premiere in iOS and recently changed to Windows. I use constantly the maximize panel feature through the "´" key. The problem is that this feature only works with one panel in the Premiere that I installed in my new pc (it is the paid cc version obviously). It seems to be locked to the program monitor and this is the only one which I can maximize with the shortcut. It ignores the timeline and other panels even it those are selected. I don´t know if Windows has something to do with it or if there is a lock, or if my Premiere is just tripping, or if I´m doing something wrong. Thanks in advance.Ro.

Hi there, I'm new to the edits and everything and I am having a hard time putting one video next to the other. I can add both of them at the same time but I can't figure out why it wouldn't let me add one and then the other one. If someone can help i would appriciate it. Thank you.

Good afternoon everyone! So for a VERY long time I've been using Nudge clip to move pieces around on my timeline. I'm aware of the command, so I'm not really trying to learn how to use it. For years I've used Nudge Clip to move both audio and video to the left or right by single frames as needed. The issue I'm having is that in a project I'm working on, this keybind will move video clips without issue, however audio clips won't budge. I can't use it to move the clip and I can't use it to trim the clip. In order to try and troubleshoot, I opened a different project and the keybind works just fine. So I'm wondering if there is a setting that may have accidently been activated that is preventing me from nudging my audio clips in this specific project. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I just ordered a 16" MacBook Pro M4 Max which comes with Sequoia installed, and have been researching online for tips and potential issues. So far, it seems like the problems I see posted are minimal (always planning a fresh install). I'm checking here to hear from anyone who has used this MBP system with Sequoia and Premiere Pro 2025 (latest update) and it's now working perfectly for them, or what initial issues they may have had. Hoping I don’t need to wait for a Premiere Pro update to get everything running smoothly, as I assume this MBP system would NOT perform optimally on macOS Sonoma. Thanks!

I have a producer who uses Media Encoder to render multiple files at one time. Recently, when he clicks "Send To media Encoder" nothing happens. We have ensured that both Premiere and Media encoder are the same version, but still Premiere does not send information to Encoder. Any thoughts? 

Hello, I worked for several days on a video and I am sure I saved the project several times. Today, Premiere crashed and it went really fast, everything closed and the app asked for it to be updated. I did, even recovered the projects, but when they opened again, the timeline was empty, and sequence nowhere to be found. I tried looking for it on the Project panel, and the images and music used were there, but no sequence. I tried not panicking and went on my folders for the Auto save versions. I tried opening several versions, but in any of them was a sequence item! So now I've lost all my editing... Luckily I did export the video so at least I have a version of it so I can watch it and try to reproduce, but I admit it would be so long and I'm so frustrated and angry. I don't understand why there's nothing in the Auto save folders, that's why they're there! I have tried everything I found online, but no trick worked. Could you let me know if it's a lost cause (and why?),

Hello everyone, I am looking for the folder where the Premiere Pro presets are stored. I am using Premiere Pro 2023. It runs on Windows 11. If you could also tell me where the "User Presets" folder of Premiere Pro is, that would be great. Also, I am looking for the MediaCore folder where the plug-ins shared by Premiere Pro, After Effects and Media Encoder are stored. Thanks in advance for your answers. Best regards.

I just ran the most recent updates on my CC account and now when I try and open Premiere or After Effects I get this error message, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to close the application."I can open all the other Adobe applications that I have loaded on my computer except the two I need most. I have a really important project due Friday but my troubleshooting (Adobe Cleanup Tool, uninstalling/reinstalling) have not fixed the problem.What do I do?Can I revert back to the previous version somehow? If I can, I cannot figure out how to do that.Thanks in advanced for the help.Adam

Premiere Pro 2024.0 Not Transcribing source clips.In the transcript window when you click transcribe it attempts to then fails

So this is a little odd, but since the most recent update I find the arrow keys no longer step backward or forward in the timeline panel (shift left and right aren't working either).  If I click into the Program monitor, then the the arrow keys move the play head, but not if I click in the timeline.  Holding K and pressing L or J does still move one frame in the timeline though.I've checked in the shortcuts panel to see if anything has changed, but step back/forward are still listed under left and right arrows, and there isn't anything that should be overriding them. I also tried clearing the shortcuts in a custom shortcut layout, then adding the command again,and the same thing happened. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas about fixing it?

I've scoured the internet for an answer to this issue, and can't seem to fix the problem. When I import a song that I'm using for a project into Premiere, it is automatically compressed and sounds horrible. It sounds fine in the source file and super compressed in Premiere. I've used two different files. The first one is 192 kpbs and the second is 320kpbs. Both are compressed upon import. My sequence settings are set at 48000 hz, so neither file should be compressed as far as I know. Files attached are media details in Premiere vs file details in my file explorer (x2 for each song) and my sequence settings.Any ideas?

I've been having this issue the last few weeks. My timeline playhead will randomly jump backward in my timeline to a random spot. With this particular sequence, it keeps jumping back to the 01:57:20 mark. I have no Ins/Outs set. And this will randomly happen when I move my cursor around, or hit play and pause. Maybe once ever 5 min or so, sometimes more. Each timeline has a different spot that it will jump back to.  I don't know if this is an issue with my system, my premiere, or my magic mouse.  Has anyone experienced anything like this

Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 stopped working and won’t launch. I’ve tried restarting my PC, but the issue persists. I reinstalled the software, updated to the latest version (2025), installed the latest video driver for my NVIDIA GeForce 2070, and restarted my PC (Windows 10 Pro 64-bit). Despite all this, the program still won’t launch, and I keep getting an error window.What can I do? I’m paying a lot for this application and urgently need it to work!

So when I follow this and open up my Security, there is no place for me to give permissions to Premiere, but then I can't use Premiere without giving permission. How to fix this? I'm on Ventura 13.7.2  

Hi there,I am trying to export a video in Premiere Pro 19 for a European broadcaster. In the screenshot below you can see the requirements.However I can't seem to find an option to adjust the GOP Length (which client needs to be 12 (M=3, N=12) and Format Profile (which should be 422P @ High Level).Also when I export the file, while the footage looks fine the graphics that appera on top of the footage are distorted/blurry. Any idea of what might be causing this please? Many thanks

I 've bought a Korg Nano kontrol 2, which I want to use in Premiere for easier audio control. I've set the support  control service in preference. But nothing happen when I press any key in the nano kontrol 2 (actually the same when using in Audition). Can anyone tell me how can I activate the midi controller? Do I need to write any script, or using third party software?And I am not sure what the buttons assignment do. I can set nothing inside.Please can anyone tell me?

Hi everyone,In our office, we constantly use the Premiere Composer and Storyblocks plugins for Premiere Pro. The issue we're experiencing is that on the MacBook Pro M3 Pro, the plugins run slowly. Previews for each effect or preset lag, and the overall behavior when using the plugins is sluggish. However, Premiere itself works perfectly fine without any issues.When using the plugins, everything inside the plugin window is slow, but the rest of Premiere functions without any problems.Important note: Everything works fine with version 24 of Premiere Pro. The issue appears only in version 25, and all plugins are fully updated.We've also cleared the cache for both Premiere Pro and Premiere Composer, but the problem persists.Interestingly, the same version of Premiere Pro on Windows works flawlessly. The problem is only on Mac.Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone, lately I have noticed that when I go to export a sequence in Media Encoder, some effects do not go correctly, but it does not point out any errors, if I open the project in Premiere it renders normally, but it takes much longer, can someone help me? So I changed the 'default audio crossfade' to 'constant gain' but whenever I apply an audio transition via the 'shift+D' shortcut, it still defaults to 'constant power'. This is frustrating me like crazy so I'd really appreciate some help...

When I edit videos, I do a lot of importing and moving images and text inside of the scene of a game. This means that, a lot of the time, I'm scaling objects down so that they fit reasonably inside the scene.The issue is, if I scale an image down, it ends up with the unreasonably forgiving scaling dots keeping me from being able to actually grab the object and move it.And, with how much an object moves with a camera as dynamic as most video game cameras tend to be, fiddling with the object coordinates directly is not something I am willing to waste time on.Is there any way to disable scaling a graphics/text object inside the viewport so that I can drag to move an object around for object animations?
