The project has 1.2TB of video material (MXF&MOV) and several timelines, some over 1 hour long.After opening the project, the memory/RAM continuously increases to over 100GB and then crashes (takes 10-15min).I have deleted all plugins, cache and tried several Premiere versions. The error remains.Obviously it is due to the Apple M2 chip, because on other Mac studios with an M1 chip the Premiere project works without problems and stays under 10GB RAM. Has anyone had the same problem and been able to solve it?

Hello, I want to use the transform effect on one clip and then copy-and-paste it to another clip, but not with absolute, but relative keyframes depending on clip length. This may sound strange, because it is hard to explain, so let me give an example: Clip A (10sec) starts with keyframe 1 at 00:00 with scale=200% and at keyframe 2 at 00:05 scale =100%.Now I copy-and-paste the tranform effect to Clip B and get:Clip B (20sec) starts with keyframe 1 at 00:00 with scale=200% and at keyframe 2 at 00:05 scale =100%.So exactly the same. But since Clip B has double the length of Clip A, I want keyframe 2 to be at 00:10, since 00:05 is the position at 50% of Clip A and 00:10 is the position at 50% of Clip B. That`s what I mean with relative position (in %) instead of absoulte position (in sec). Is this possible in Premiere Pro? Kind regards,Max

Hi everyone... I have a PC. There I have my project in a Premiere Production that I'm using for almost a year to editing.Now, I have to move this project to another computer: MacBookPro - Apple M1 Pro Sequoia 15.2I locate the project in my folder at PC and copy to the same HD where are all medias. When I try to open the project icon (name.prproj) Premiere doesn't recognize it. How is the best way to move one Premiere Production Project to another machine? On PC I was working on Premiere 2022 and on MAC is 2025.

V25.1.0 (Build 73) on Mac StudioWhen I'm in the Project bin with all my footage and Replace Footage, it does NOT remember the previous Finder location. Previous PP versions had no issues with this.This is very annoying when you, for example, have a lot of footage from the same day in the same Finder folder and you need to 1-by-1 Replace Footage for all the clips - but the Replace Footage doesn't remember the previous location and, by default, jumps into a very random Finder location. In the past PP builds this has functioned perfectly: Replace Footage remember the previous Finder location, so it's a lot faster to replace lots of footage, instead of having to browse the Finder every single time.

I've imported a Comp into premire pro, because i think it's easier to work with audio in Premiere.But after updating i've come across this never ending issue. First the comp became "offline" everytime I saved the AE file, but i found a work-around on this forum where you have to start Premiere first, wait a little bit and then open AE (which is fkd up, but it works and i have tight deadlined).But now, the comp never shows up. Its just "pending" forever. I've cleared all cache, re-installed, restarted my computer (then it sometimes works for 1 export).PLEASE HELP!!

Hi  I can't seem to get plug-ins to work on V25.1 - I use atomX for transition & text packages (PremiereGal & whiterecord). I'm able to install the packages but applying them to sequences does not work.  I have uninstalled and re-installed both Premiere and the plug-ins but no success.I am using a mac, grateful for any advice. Thanks

First you take away our old titles tab.. then you move it to the The Essential Graphics tab.. then you update it and take away our essential graphics tab.. then move it to the effect controls panel.. now I cant even find the center title button button.... how the hell do I get my Essential Graphics tab back so I can work titles.. am I missing something..? Under windows tab there is no Essential Graphics window to turn on or off... I mean if you were gunna get rid of something unusefull how bout the annoying add infested money grab adobe stock tab.. can someone please help.. super frustrated...    is working with titles stuck under the effect controls with this new 2025 update.. yes or no.. if not how do I get the Essential Graphics tab back up.. cuz its not under the graphics template tab anymore.. I've tried so many things but to no avail, please help me I need this program for my studies, premiere used to work just fine for me.Since a short while Premiere Pro crashes on me everytime I drag a clip to the timeline without fail, in my 2 years of using premiere it has never done this.I can usually import the file just fine but as soon as the program has to load a preview of the file (like when dragging it onto the timeline) the entire program freezes up.What I've noticed is that my GPU usage will jump to 100% as soon as this crash happens. I can however play high spec games like monster hunter world etc. just fine and the drivers of the GPU are up to date so I don't believe the problem lays with the GPU or its software.I've tried changing to premiere 2018 and 2017 but both experience the same issue (although 2017 seemed to work for a little bit before crashing as well).I've also tried changing around certain settings like mercury playback, updating all kinds of drivers, resetting p

I'm trying to finish a short 8 minute documentary that has lots of historic stills but the stills won't export with the rest of the film. Instead I get black holes where they should be. Worst of all, it seems to be pretty random so of 15 stills, six won't work.The stills are jpegs around 4000 pixels wide and usually 3000 high, all set to RGB. I've experimented with psds and pngs and tiffs and haven't had better results. I've read the bizarre recommendation by some posters that stills be no more than twice the size of the sequence.Because of the live action footage source, I was editing in a XDCAM sequence at 25fps, HD. Hello, i have just created a Trailer with Premiere CC 17.1 for usage in a cinema. Therefore of course I used the wraptor DCP-export. The name of the file is according to the DCP-naming convention which means: "Name-of-movie_TLR_F_EN..........dcp" I know that "TLR" stands for trailer, and the cinemas need this coding explicitly to create a properly working playlist for the commercials block. But now I have the following problem: I got feedback from the cinema, that they are not able to create their playlist. The reason: The computer in the cinema checks all incoming DCP-files for errors and inconsistencys and says: Your DCP is described in the file name as TLR="Trailer" but I recognize your content kind as a "Feature". Sorry, this is a conflict, I cannot play your file. So my first step was to verify the problem with the Software "Easy DCP-Player+", which is able to make hasum check of DCP´s and read metadata. I can't find spanish transcripts in Adobe 25.1.0

From what I can tell, it seems impossible to collaborate with multiple editors in real time on both Mac and Windows systems inside a single Premiere Productions project hosted on a server. The reason being Premiere not being able to recognize (and translate) absolute vs relative path structures. Therefore, everytime a project within a Productions is opened on a different OS, it has to relink all media. I dont't think this is favorable for the stability of the entire Productions project. One would think Premiere automatically would search for all media, based on the path structure information that was given.Am I doing something wrong? My biggest issue is with the text which is all pixelated. Plus, the photos from Adobe Stock Images are definitely not as sharp as they should be. Some of the photos I used are from the client and were not shot at Hi-Res, so those are the exceptions. All of the other photos and graphics are included in various Mogrt's that I used or came from Adobe Stock Images. I'm not sure what I missed in the settings when I exported it, but I need the overall video to be sharp and crisp and the text to not be pixelated. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a project that's done, I'm just archiving it, but throughout all my after effects stuff has been going offline. Every MOGRT stored in libraries would disappear periodically until I quit and re-opened premiere 3 or 4 times. Today one of the linked comps I had went offline though. This comp was created by right clicking clips in the premiere sequence and "replace with after effects composition."  My aep file with the linked comps has been working fine and the other linked comps from the same file seem to be fine in the premiere sequence. When I try to link the offline comp though, I right click it in the sequence, locate in project, right click it in the project and click link, then select my aep file, it says "after effects 2024 must be installed to import this file." After Effects 2024 has been installed the entire time.  How do I get it to recognize that After Effects has been and still is installed? After all the issues with Dynamic link lately I'm just goi

I am color correcting in Premiere, and unsure of how my monitor translates to the rest of the world. Is there a reliable preset for a MAC Book PRO? It seems P3-DCI the most reasonable choice? I just want a good basis to work from. This is a documentary and the color goal is more to NOT be distracting rather than aiming for something spectacular. Thank you!

I have a project where the proxy toggle icon shows a broken proxy link. I tried detaching the old proxies and right click / Create Proxy. But the new proxies still show a broken proxy icon. 

Hi Folks. I desperately need to find a way to improve performance in 24.1.0 on Mac.I'm working on a feature doc, and getting horrible performance in PP 24.1Any action (marking in/out, zooming on the timeline, editing a caption in the text panel) gives me 2-3 seconds of the spinning beach ball before anything happens.  Hey guys, I have a essentially a top of the line PC, and I just cant seem to run away from the blue screen of death when scrubbing through 4k 60fps footage in the project panel that I just imported to my project and only have premiere running. Any suggestions on how I can fix this issue? or is it just the file type causing problems as I scrub without proxies (XAVC HS from my fx3) which are just causing problems that are un avoidable? Hiya folks, I'm trying to mask track a fleet of these machines in this video and, as for the last 6 years, I can't get mask tracking to do it's job properly.I know it's not the most contrasty video and it disappears on and off screen, but can anyone give me some up to date tips to actually get MT to work? Even if the tip is, "You have no hope, mask Tracking can't do what you're looking for"I'm using Prem Pro Beta (have had same issue on all previous versions) RTX 4070, I7 CPU, Windows 11.Footage is HLG from a Panasonic GH5S.
