Hi, I created a production on my Home Desktop. It has several projects in it. In order to travel this week, I copied the production folder along with all the assests folders on to an external hard drive. As it happenes, I may have begun that copying transfer while 2 of the projects in the production were open in Premiere on the Home Desktop. I am now on the road and tried to open one of those projects and it is locked to my Home Desktop (not my adobe ID) so I can't make any changes to it. I desperately need to make a chage to it tonight. It didn't even suspect this would be a problem. I thought the lock would be associated with my Adobe ID so if I started edting elsewhere, as long as I was logged-in with my Adobe ID I'd be able to edit anything in the project.Is there a way to unlock a Project in a Production? Or do I just have create either a duplicate of the sequence in a different Project, or a duplicate of the project entirely so I can edit on this computer? Thanks,Michae

I have a sequence at 1920x1080.Some of the clips in this sequence are UHD (3840x2160).The scale of these clips are at 50% so they fit in the HD sequence.I want to create at new sequence at 3840x2160 that uses the full resolution of these clips, so their scale should be at 100%.But if I change the sequence settings to UHD, all of my clips remain at 50% scale (even if "Scale motion effects..." is checked).I could go through every clip and double the scale, but is there a way to automaticlly rescale clips when the sequence is resized?Nesting the HD sequence in a UHD sequence isn't an option - nests don't concatenate, and I lose the full UHD resolution.

I have been a loyal user of Premiere Pro, but recently, I've encountered an issue that has forced me to switch back to Final Cut. About 80% of my work involves multicam clips, and I had no problems until a few weeks ago. Now, the multicam clips I create are experiencing audio sync problems; the audio can be off by as much as 10 frames or sometimes just around 4. I have tried both Premiere Pro and the Premiere Pro beta, and both versions show the same issue. In contrast, they sync perfectly when I create multicam clips in Final Cut. I would prefer to use Premiere Pro, so if anyone can help me resolve this problem, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

I have just started a relaxation Youtube channel and am trying to export my first video. It's 2 hours long of the same video on loop with a few different songs so nothing too crazy, but whenever I go to export I just see a black screen. I've waited 10 plus minutes but nothing changes. Is my computer hardware the problem or is it user error.

I am using the Premiere Pro C++ SDK to develop an exporter plug-in. It is recommended that I base my development on a copy of the sample SDK_Exporter plug-in. But that plug-in seems beefy and it confuses me. What would a minimum hello world exporter plug-in look like? I guess it would just ouput a hello.txt with hello world in it. Related question: which selector "callbacks" are required? SDK_Exporter uses 11 or 12 of them but I am wondering which ones are required.

Hello everybody,    I downloaded split 3-screen motion graphic for Premiere to make my editing workflow a little quicker. These are generally very simple to use. You simply upload the motion graphic into Premiere and the drag and drop the media you want into the appropriate place.    However, I'm having an issue with dropping media into the motion graphic. It simply won't let me add any media. (See the attached video)   Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's a fairly straightforward issue, and there is a workaround, but this is still a bug that should be fixed. If a clip is transcribed, but then replaced with a new file using 'replace footage', the source footage is updated, but the transcription and its timings remain from the original file. There's no way I can see to force Premiere to recognise that the original audio has changed - meaning the transcription should be updated - and there's no button to retranscribe a dynamic transcription after using 'replace footage'. The workaround is simply to delete the audio track, import the new file's audio, and transcribe that. But this shouldn't be necessary. If a file's replaced and the audio has changed, then there should be the opportunity for the transcription feature to recognise that.

Hi there, i'm out of options here, so i need help.For some reason i can't export my video. System infos :  RTX 3060 tiI7 6700k 32Go RAM Windows 10 Premiere pro 25.0 Oh yeah my datas for this video are saved on an external hardware HDD. Before you ask, no i can't transfer 300go to my computer.   It's a 10 min Documentary for my client   I've tried so much thing that i got lost. render without CUDA delete warp Stabilization Re launch Premiere change sequence export with Media Encoder  preview Quicktime 442LT to MPEG delete Dynamic link restart PC Reset preference Delete cache Change h.264 export to Quicktime 4444 export  delete the Rendered files Unlink and relink my media Try to export slice of 2 min instead of full 10min but got other problem  and more trick that i surely forgot   By the way, render in premiere with proxies works but not with original clips.   Well, right, now i'm out of ideas, and i need to deliver it quick. Adobe Premiere Pro is not opening. We tried updating, uninstalling and installing. Restarting the system etc. The error is still the same. Help me with it. It is Adobe Premiere pro 25.1 version.

I was using the newly released clip transition just fine,but at some point, it disappeared from the video clips and only remained on the audio clips.If anyone knows how to enable or disable this, please help me out! 

 I updated the program as usual. After the update, when editing and playing the video, you can hear strange noises (whining, crackling) while playback. In addition, the sound can only be heard from the other earpiece. Exactly the same problem even if you play the sounds through the speakers of the computer. It doesn't matter if it's a new project or an old one. There have never been such problems before. Where exactly is the problem - really frustrating...  

Hello all!  I've been having this seriously annoying crash every time I go to export a video.  When I click on the file location link, Premiere freezes, and I have to evetually end the program task.  This happens every 2nd or 3rd time I need to export.  Everything else works fine.  I also notice that the tool tip seems to struggle when mouse over the location link. I'm on Windows 11 Home, PP 22.5 (also tried PP22.4) 64GB RAM, M.2 storage, Core i9-9940X, GTX 3090. All other software/firmware is up to date. I noticed that with 22.5 you can actually see the files in the location that you select, allowing you to copy a file name to make it easier when exporting several files with a similar long name.  22.4 only showed the folder. I wonder if anyone else is seeing this, and whether it's a Windows problem. Cheers! Luc  

Bonjour, je posssède un windows 11 (mis a jour), une carte graphique NVIDIA 4070 (mise a jour), processeur I7,  16 MO Ram, Premiere Pro est en version 25.1.0.Lorsque je lance la lecture d'une séquence, j'ai une saccade de la tête de lecture, de la vidéo ainsi que de l'audio pendant environ 3 à 4 seconde. Apres cela la lecture est fluide.J'ai essayé de lire une video MP4, MOV, même avec une vidéo noire crée par premiere c'est pareil.Il n'y a pas d'effets, la résolution en lecture est 1/4 le format en 1920x1080 30ips.J'ai essayé de fermer toutes les fenêtres de Premiere.Vider les caches, allouer plus de memoire à Premiere, rien y fait. Avez-vous une piste que je peux explorer afin de résoudre mon problème?

As it is said in subject. I switch camera during playback and it doesn't change it in program monitor. Though it does make a cut and camera change in timeline you have to stop playback, return to the cut and select camera again

Heyho, ich hoffe, es gelingt mir mein Problem verständlich zu schildern.Vor Premiere 2025 war es so, dass die Wiedergabe einfach weiterlief, wenn man währenddessen Clips verschob. Das war immer perfekt für meinen Workflow, da bei mir viel aus dem Puzzlen von Clips und dem zeitgleichen Testsehen/hören besteht. Bei 2025 ist es nun aber so, dass die Wiedergabe immer stoppt, wenn ich einen Clips auswähle oder verschiebe.Kann man das rückgängig machen? Ist für mich ein großes Ärgernis.

Hello! I hope you're all doing well. Recently, I ran out of local storage, so I changed the app installation directory to my external SSD. After that, I uninstalled all the Adobe apps and reinstalled them. However, ever since, every time I try to open an app like after effects and premier pro, it crashes and shows a tab asking to send a report. I’ve tried finding a solution but haven’t had any luck. I also ensured all necessary files have proper access, as suggested by others facing similar issues. Please help me resolve this problem. Thank you!

Hola. Llevo usando Premiere v25 desde hace unos días. Hace dos, al abrir un proyecto, se quedó congelado. A partir de ese momento, tanto Premiere como After effects, al intentar iniciarlos, me daba un pantallazo azul con el mensaje BAD POOL CALLER y se reiniciaba. El resto de la Suite de Adobe funciona perfectamente. Probé de todo pensando que era el sistema operativo el problema, actualicé controladores, limpié caché, ect... Por último se me ocurrió apagar el ordenador y desenchufarlo durante un tiempo, y funcionó. Ayer pude trabajar sin problemas con ambos programas. Pero hoy, estando trabajando con premiere, he abierto AE y me ha vuelto a salir el pantallazo azul. Ya no he podido abrir premiere... He probado desinstalarlo y volver a instalar. He probado con la v25.1... y nada. He probado con la v24.6.4 y esta funciona.Estoy desesperado y perdiendo un tiempo muy valioso, ¿me pueden ayudar?Mi equipo es un Rycen 7 3700.32Gb de RAMDisco SSD con espacio suficiente.Nvidia RTX 3070Windows

Hi, I just experienced some weird problem with the audio quality in Premiere CC 2019. I have added a mp3 song to the timeline and when playing back the video in the timeline then the audio quality of the mp3 sounds very poor.. but if I playback the same audio file in the "source window", then it sounds normal (high quality) again... Any idea why the sounds quality differs when playing it back in the source vs timeline window? I also tried to export a video clip and the mp3 audio sounds bad in the exported video also. I'm using a Macbook Pro (2018) and Adobe CC 2019.

My 2025 update is crashing constantly - even just using the file browser to save to a new folder. It seems to hate saving and then crashes periodically when trying to simply save. 

Hi All, I am really hoping someone can help me as I am a youtube creator and have not been able to upload videos due to this issue. Recently, when recording my face/gameplay and moving the clip into Premiere Pro, it becomes choppy, and the app just keeps crashing and doesn't like the clip. I record using OBS, and when I open the clip after I record it it's fine, it is only when I move the file into Premiere Pro is when I experience this issue. Anyone has any idea? Also, if I do manage to edit with these issues and export the video and view it again (outside of Premiere Pro) it is fine! It is just when it's in the app!   [title edited by mod]

I want to export an MP4 video with embedded metadata from Premiere CC 2018 using Media Encoder.When I try to export the option to embed metadata is greyed out.I found the following page:https://helpx.adobe.com/media-encoder/using/export-settings-reference.htmlThere it says "The Embed In Output File options are disabled for files of kinds for which XMP metadata can’t be embedded."According to XMP's wiki page it is possible to embed metadata in MP4 files.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extensible_Metadata_PlatformWhen I look under the properties of MP4 files I haven't made, there is metadata stored there.Does Premiere CC 2018 NOT allow the embedding of metadata when exporting via Media Encoder?I have a second question: on the Adobe help page mentioned above I read: "To create your own export template, click New next to the Export Template menu."When I go to Media Encoder I see an option to add a "Preset".Are these the same thing? If so, why is current support using different terminology? T

The most recent update of Premiere has a new feature where when you pull the sliders (i.e. scale from 50 to 100) it isn't immediately responsive, you have to move it significantly before it responds and then it seems to respond with the total amount you've dragged it. It's inconvenient and has me constantly fighting against the slider numbers. Horribly inconvenient and irritating to say the very least....
