Hello everybody !I've just bought an MSI raider 18 hx a14v, which has 64GB of RAM and an RTX 4080.I'm trying to do some video editing on Adobe Premiere Pro V25.0 but the playback of the video track jerks and lags (even in 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 resolution) and even after rendering. The blue vertical bar in the timeline that should tell me where I am also freezes at the start of playback instead of scrolling, which makes editing horrible as I synchronize my rushes to the music. These are only 4K rushes.I did some research and checked the first tips found on the internet, namely:- make sure to use the Mercury Playback Engine (CUDA) GPU rendering system.- Allocate sufficient RAM to Premiere Pro (I've tried several values, from 12GB to 50GB, which makes no difference).- Make sure that no other software uses too much memory or CPU with the task manager. By the way, I've been running the software alone, without anything else, since the computer started up, and it always lags.I've seen other advice

Using a nested sequence to edit is essentail for my workflow, but it can be really laggyWhat I've discovered though, is if I disable the audio part of the clip within the parent sequence, it runs fineSeeing as this is more of an audio issue, are there any things I can try to fix this whilst keeping the audio enabled? Both Sequences match (48000k)Thanks 

I was just trying to download PP today on a new PC with pretty high specs (RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, 32 gigs of ram, i7-13700k, etc., enough to meet the minimum specs, and I was met with a: "Sorry, Premiere Pro won't run on your OS. To continue you'll have to upgrade."   My Windows Software is on 23H2 which is more than the 22H2 requirement, and my graphics driver are  up to date. Is it a problem that I have nvidia game ready drivers instead of studio drivers installed? or, if this is likely due to another issue, then any other trouble shooting solutions or advice would be most appreciated. Hey! First time posted to the community, so hoping I can find some help. Up until about a week ago my subsequences worked fine, but now no matter what I do they won't remain consolidated into one clip. I often like to use multicam editing so making a subsequence is ideal for that. but now everytime I drag my subsequence to the timeline, it drops the contents of the subsequence rather than the consolidated clip. I've tried doing some digging and it just seems like too niche of a question to find an answer for.  I've attached a few images. 1 being the Nested scene I'm trying to edit, 2 being the contents that drop onto the timeline when I try to add my Subsequences/Nest scenes Anybody got me on this one?

Why the directional blur effect is already blurring my image even though it's set to zero at the position of the playhead and didn't reach the keyframes yet?

Hi everyone, I recently made a demo video for my website, [removed by moderator] showcasing its features and functionality. However, when I reviewed the video, I noticed that the quality isn’t as good as I’d like it to be. I used a basic screen recording app to capture the footage, but it seems like the resolution or frame rate wasn’t optimal. Now that I’m editing the video in Adobe Premiere Pro, I’m wondering: What settings or techniques can I use in Premiere Pro to enhance the video quality? Can anyone recommend a free, high-quality screen recording application for future recordings? I’d like to ensure my next demo videos are sharp, clear, and professional, especially for showcasing on my website and social media. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Hello, I work a lot with motion graphics (template or not) but i have some issue with it.I know we can create a media replacement placeholder while creating it in After effect. But i often create it directly in premiere with the Motion graphics template (and now in the new Proprieties panel). I have a project with multiple dozen of Motion Graphics that i need to replace the image used in. So my question is: Is there any possibilities to easily replace a media in a Motion graphics created inside premiere ? Or any possibility to copy paste value (position, site, etc) from one layer to another ? Thank you !

Hi, using Adobe Premiere Pro version 25.0.0 (build 61). Same issue as previous poster; stuck on Get Graphics, estimated time varies between 6 hours and 2 days, with no progress. MOGRTs do not load, although when I drag them into Premiere it returns "you already uploaded this mogrt. Do you want to overwrite?" Even if I click "Yes" it doesn't show up. Any help would be appreciated... I've already reset my preferences, restarted computer, uninstalled/reinstalled Premiere, no luck.  

Has anyone else encountered a problem with all of your text disappearing from Premiere Pro projects? I've had no problem with this until I opened a project today and couldn't see any of the text I had previously added. While it still appears on the timeline, it's completely missing from the preview and cannot be edited. I opened another project to see if I had the same issue and all of the text is blank/missing there as well. If I add a new text layer, nothing shows up in the preview. Please help!

Can not access or see start of timeline (see video) I have tried saving my work then closing the app and opening it again Premier Pro app - Version 25.0.0 (Build 61)Windows 11

Every time I open a project and play a video to edit, the timeline doesn't move while the video is playing. When it does move, it lags, skipping frames. This didn't happen before the last Adobe update. After working for several hours, it resolves itself and works normally.Can you help me fix this bug?I'm attaching a video of the issue.

I just started using Premiere Pro for simple editing for work - adding a clip of footage at the end of a longer recorded clip. Yesterday I was able to export my first video, no problem. Today, I imported a new video, and a new end clip, and for the past four hours  have exported the video numerous times only to end up with just audio and no video footage. Things I have tried:- importing the required footage again- starting a new project- saving the project with "save as" and changing the name- rebooting my computer- saving to different folders- importing the audio only footage I end up with, and I received a "generic error" message and the footage could not be imported.What else can I do? I have not changed any settings from yesterday's video export.  The video footage shows on the editing page and in the export settings pop up, and I have exported every video in the H.264 format.

As of today, I have all the latest versions of the Apple OS (Monteray 12.0.1) and Adobe Premeire (22.1.2 Build 1) and After Effects (22.1.1) and now I can't drag and drop a dynamically linked AE sequence into Premiere. I can go to File/Import in Premiere and those dynamic links do works, but it saved A LOT of time to drag and drop. Sometimes I a partial message pops up (see image attachment). I've deleted the media cache, the dynamic link folder and disabled multi-frame rendering. So far nothing has worked. Any Ideas?

I just tried to consolidate and transcode my sequence with frame handles to send it over to another editor.The clips were shot on the same day in UHD 50 Slog3 gamut3cine and are already transcoded to prores 422 HQ before import. I added the correct color space through modify->colour in the clip browser and graded them with lumetri - they all look good in the timeline. Now I transcoded the source clips via project manager with source: individual clips in Match Source - Apple ProRess 422 HQ and all of the exported source footage files look perfectly fine in slog3 exept one file - which is totally blown out. It looks like the colour transformation has been added twice.. I tried to replace the clip in the timeline again with the same source clip and export again.. still the same. The files have all been shot with the same Sony FX3 on the same day and the same camera setting. Does someone know the cause?

The ignite effects in Premier Pro don't work and haven't for years. If they arent compatible with premier Pro.  Why are they still a choice in my effects menu?  

recently i have no YouTube available for tutorials while editing in cc2018with windows and nvidia graphics installed i have not had this before?while having premiere open i would watch youtube for follow along tutorials but today i get a grey square in the YouTube page if i click on the premiere pro work area?

Cuando importo un proyecto de After a Premiere, todo va bien hasta que intenta importarlo. En esa ventana de carga, todo se queda congelado.Supongo que será algún problema de conexión entre programas, pero tampoco lo permite con una secuencia de Premiere de otro proyecto. 

I prefer to use keyframes for my audio fade ins and fade outs much of the time and with the new layout, the little boxes at the front and end of clips makes it difficult to add the keyframes because they get in the way. I looked through the preferences to see if there was a way to turn them off or hide them but didn't see anything. Does anyone know if that's an option?

Hey all, I upgraded to Pro from Elements to utilize text-based editing. I was able to use it for 3 or 4 videos but now the options to edit the transcript are greyed out.I've tried recreating the entire project, reinstalling Pro (deleting all preferences), and pouring over other forum posts to no avail. I know I'm missing something but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Any suggestions are welcome 🙂

I just had to replace the boot (C:) drive on my Puget System. I was in the middle of a few big projects (Premiere Pro) when the drive failed. Right after the failure, Adobe MAX happened (yes it's been a few weeks) and all these new app versions have dropped. I just barely got this machine running again and now I have to reinstall Creative Cloud. Then, I need to finish those projects asap. I realize that it's not recommended to update apps in the middle of projects, but a few issues: 1. I can't say for absolute certain exactly which previous version I was running for my last unfinished projects. I assume it was the most recent at the time, but I confess I don't memorize version numbers. Is there a way to tell from my project file metadata which version of Premiere Pro created it, so I can reinstall that version and keep going? 2. Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder (my most used) each have two updates listed: 24.6.3, and 25.0 (labeled "new release"). I have not

Hi Folks! I am probably making a mistak but I git a handling problem with the Preiere 2025 Update. As soon as I try to apply an efect from the effects panel (tansform, drop shadow, horizontal flip...) to a text in the sequence which I created within the new properties panal the effect won't work/ be vsisble on the taxt or graphic. It does not help if I have an eye an layer hirarchy.. The hierachy cannot be adjusted in the effects panel regarding in the way that if you thoro the effect on the graphic/text in the tineline it will be displayed in the verctor section in the effects oanel and cannot be pushed to the the video section. I also tried to bring in an adjustment layer to apply the effects on the text...also did nt work... As the effects variety is very poor within the properties panel and I also don't want to re-build evertything in the 2024 version (where it definitely works as supposed which I tested) it would be just great If someone from the community could hel

I am a Premiere Pro beginner and I just started a new project. Because I didn't name my former project, I accidentally replaced it with the new project also named 'Untitled' by even clicking 'Replace' out of a relfex. Now I am panicking very bad, because the other project seems gone and unrecoverable due to the replacemant. It is really important for me that I get it back, but since I am working in Adobe Cloud, I don't see any way how to, as most video's on YouTube direct me to the local disk, where it never was... So the question I have for you is: How do I recover a replaced file? Btw, I think Adobe should fix this by atleast naming the other project just Untitled (2) or something, instead of replacing it. As a beginner, I basically didn't even know how to name the project at first. Now I see I can do this at the left bar. I feel so stupid, but I am also really tired as it's midnight.
