I am editing a rather complicated project and have been having issues with Premiere crashing constantly. I am running Premiere 25.00, on a 2023 MacBook M3 Pro, 36GB RAM, Sonoma 14.7. I am working with XAVC 4k h.264 files proxied to DNxHR LB. My full-res media is offline. It is a cooking show with multiple contestants and judges, with 9 tracks of audio (9600hz 24-bit mono) and 3 camera angles—I’ve created Multicam sequences for each scene and have transcribed all of my interviews as well. Other than that, I don’t have any other assets in my project, yet. My project crashes with more and more frequency. I will try to watch through my multicam clip and make selects--I will typically use the text panel to highlight soundbites and insert them into my sequence, a workflow I have been using every since Premiere's text features released. Bonjour à tous,  Je rencontre un problème lié à l'export.Mes fichier DJI sont correctement lu pendant la préview du montage et à l'export ils sont complètement figées. quelqu'un à la solution ? J'ai essayé de changer la séquence, pour que tout soit cohérent mais rien ne change ...je suis bloqué dans l'export du coup. 

Colours/colour space is randomly changing during exports no matter the color space I'm editing in. I'm using cine gamit c-log 3 footage with basic conversion luts and am getting completely different results during an export. This even happens when I put the correction lut into the exporter rather than an adjustment layer in the timeline.

After I color correct the source clip, when the clip is selected in the timeline and the Global fx mute is off (see this post premiere-pro-discussions/color-correction-is-not-working) the color on the program monitor is neither the one I created in the souce clip nor the original one. See the three screenshots attached. Very confused, I export the clip (global mute fx off) to see what comes out: yet another color. Needless to say, I'm now extra confused. Can somebody help me out? I have a 40' multicam video to color correct and now I'm not sure whether to color correct source clips is a good idea, or if I better stick to correcting the timeline clips and then copy and paste the effect to every piece from the same video source (so incredibly time consuming in my case, as I have clips from the same video source scattered all over the timeline).

After I import a video (.mp4 or .mov) it will not play. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, I cleared the media cache, I reset the preferences and nothing works. I used another computer with Premiere Pro on it and the video worked just fine. This is a new Mac Mini with very little on it. Any suggestions how to get it to work? Thanks!

How can I remove black background on premier pro?

I have the 2025 and 2024 versions installed on my Mac. every time i open a project it automatically opens 2025 because when I installed it it automatically set to default. How do i set my 2024 version to default instead? (on a mac)

Is this new behaviour? When editing keyframes on an audio track, I can't seem to make any changes to clips on the track until I switch to clip keyframes. Not the biggest deal, but I never noticed it before. Can this be turned off?

Hoping someone has an idea to resolve a problem I have with trying to do some subtitles in Sinhala. The text appears correctly in the Captions Window, but in the Preview and in any video output some characters aren't composed correctly (sample files attached). I have tried multiple Unicode Sinhala fonts and they all have the same problem.Have tried turning ligatures on and off (in both the track settings and the general preferences) and that makes no difference.  I believe the issue is with the text engine, but that's no longer in preferences, so I can't change anything there. The text works fine in Indesign, but if I change the paragraph composer there back to just Adobe Paragraph Composer rather than "World Ready" composer a similar problem occurs.Thanks in advance for any help!   

On Macos track mixer panel is zoomed in very wide now on macos and i cannot get it back. tried to switch workspaces or close and open the panel but the zoom settings remain. How can I change the width of the track faders on macos? 

The render and replace settings doesn't work as expected. The selction of the source is ignored and the preset is always selected. Maybe I get the feature wrong but the manual states: "Source: Match the settings of the rendered media with the sequence settings, individual clip settings, or presets." When using "individual clips" or "sequence" it uses the selected preset every time (also the UI does nothing to show that the two following dropdown menus are bypassed when the named options are selected) It happens on both Windows and Mac and with the newest version of Premiere (23.1.0 Build 86)

Hi, we need to add animated text over the videos. We have AE Templates for Premiere where we need to change the text and add formatting like add a custom colour to some words - coloring single words takes up a lot of time So its the same AE Template for text multiple times in a Premiere sequence, with different text in different formatting. Is there any way to automate this: Say I have the text with the words marked bold or added other information in brackeds when they need to be coloured. Can I apply this text to all my AE templates instead of copying in and formatting manually?Ideally I would like to format text with an AI Chatbot and then output a text with metadata like formatting instructions that can be imported into Premiere so it adapts to the AE templates. So I could for example tell it to output in csv or json style. Is that possible?

I just updated to 24.4.1 and noticed that all imported audio was automatically generating waveforms even though "Generate Waveforms Automatically..." in settings is DISABLED. My team works via lucidlink and this setting being disabled is a must, as it wrecks lucidlink performance on large projects. Can anyone else confirm this is no longer working for them?

Hardware : 2021 Apple M1 MaxSoftware: Sonoma 14.6.1, Premiere 24.6.1 (Build 2) I am working on a project that was cut and colored by another studio. I have not changed the colors at all. However when I render there is a very clear color shift. I am using the same preset they did (they sent it to me) but they were working on PCs and I'm on Mac. I thought that might be the issue but it's rendering perfectly from both Resolve and After Effects so I know it has to be a setting inside of premiere. The clips are .mov files rendered from resolve. They are rec 709 as is my timeline. I have display color management turned on. I have tried setting Viewer Gamma to both 1.96 and 2.2. The images above are from the 2.2 render. I have tried rendering from media encoder and directly out of premiere. I have tried rendering with software only and hardware accelerated. There are no LUTs turned on either on the timeline or in the effects window on render.I am at a loss as to what I can try next.

Hey there, I've been editing some footage taken with iPhone 15 Pro and noticed some weird patterns with my footage recently. Sometime colorful dots, sometimes lots of tiny horizontal rectangles and flickering. They are not present in the source material or exported video. It just appears in timeline playback. And they are random. Good day forum, I am using Premiere Pro 2020 and up until this morning, my playback resolution will NOT CHANGE from Full resoltuion to a lower one. This is to be changed on the program monitor. I am currently on the phone with customer support and we already did troubleshooting and they can't figure it out yet. I'm on a PC, specs are i5 16gb ram, gtx 1660ti graphics card. It SHOULD NOT BE a problem with the specs, because I have always worked with this and had no problems at all working on 1/4 resolution for playback, that's normal for me. Now it WILL NOT CHANGE FROM FULL, just won't do it. Why did this happen from one day to another? What the hell changed? Unisitalled and installed Premiere, restared computer, updated graphics card. Nothing happens. Please help.

Hello!I have used the Transcript to setup a Subtitle track. And now I want to change the appearance of my subtitle. But when I select a clip in the Subtitle track in the Timeline, I only see a single textline in the Properties panel. No options for font, colors, drop shadows. What am I doing wrong.If I select another graphic on another track in my Timeline. Everything is ok.I’m using version 25.0.0/Rikard

If I cancel my subscription but save all my Premiere Pro projects (in Version 23) to my hard drive, then re-subscribe in the future, will I be able to open the PP projects at that time in Version 23, or will the system install a newer version when I re-subscribe?   If so, will I be able to revert to 23?   Thanks.

  Hey everyone.    I'm new to the community and need some help with a script that I feel is almost successful.    So here is the scenario. You are an editor, you have videos in a Projects Bin called "Selects" you have a sequence with markers. You open up Automation Blocks and run the script, which is supposed to initiate the Automate to Sequence function in Premiere and place those clips from your projects bin 'Selects' into the sequence at the numbered markers.    I've been working with OpenAI since I'm not a developer, and we have created a script that will recognize the Root Items in the project, find the 'Selects' bin and its contents, find the sequence and the video track and run through the processing of the clips and markers , but at the last stage it will consistently give me this message: ERROR: Object is not a folder (line 1)    OpenAI seems to think the issue is outside the script:    OPENAI: Error Outside the Script •Si

Ever since Premiere Pro 24, I've been experiencing increasing instances of randomly occuring video errors appearing while working in the timeline, (green blocks, areas of distortion, black flashes) and audio pops and loud feedback. Clearing the media cache doesn't remove the problem and weirdly the errors move, sometimes being in one section of the timeline and then disapperearing and reappearing at other areas. Recently, while working on a longer video project, the audio errors persistently appeared in every exported clip. Has anyone else run into this and have any advice? I've contacted Adobe techs several times, but haven't found a consistent solution.  Exported clips have been both h264 and 422 QT, both from Media Encoder. I'm running the newest update of Premiere 2025, working on an Intel iMac running OS Sonoma 14.7.1 

Hello everyone!I'm using Premiere (25.0.0 build 61) and AFX (25.0.1 Build 2).I have an AFX composition with one layer of text that I'm trying to import in Premiere but after selecting the AFX comp Premiere infinitely loops at importing.Other video formats are imported.Uninstalling and reinstalling both Pr and Ae didn't help.Cleaning Media Cache didn't help.Changing workspace didn't help.I have only one monitor screen....and my clients are starting to get confused since other projects are now stuck in this problem 😞Can somebody help?Thank you.
