I have a strange problem. During editing, I use two SSDs—one where I have Premiere Pro installed and the cache folder, and the other where I store all the assets for editing and where I save the footage. I also have a third, large HDD where I save finished projects that I no longer return to. The problem is that when using Premiere Pro, it shows 100% usage of the HDD, which causes my whole computer to lag. I don't understand how this is possible since the projects on the HDD haven't been opened since being transferred there.
In premiere pro, i have bin with 1200 clips from 3 cameras, some of them are shoot in slow motion 100 fps, other 25 fps. How to identify and select only slow motion clips in the bin? All clips appear 25 fps, but this filmed in slow motion mode plays in slow motion. I need this, because I need to change their speed to achieve Multi-camera synced clip. Multi-camera doesn't work now because clips in slow motion have longer duration, and it's a messy. When was filmed all cameras was synced to have same time code.
What is the best workflow for Braw files with the new Colour options? At the moment I am taking the Braw log film files into the Braw Studio Panel and converting them to ACEScct. In the sequence Colour Management I am setting the working colour space to ACEScct and the selecting the output colour space to either Rec 709 or Rec 2100HLG depending on delivery requirements.
I'm not sure if this is just a problem with Windows 11, but I've encountered an issue while trying to install CC and Premiere Pro to help a friend out with video editing. When trying to install Creative Cloud from the main website, I'm given a .dmg file which is pretty much useless. Extracting it with 7-Zip doesn't give me anything useful. This problem has been completely preventing me from accessing any Adobe product for 2 months. Any help is appreciated! Other info: Yes, I've restarted my pc. I've cleared my cache, tried a different account, tried a different browser, all with no luck.
For the past few months Premiere freezes whenenver I try and save it. No amount of waiting resolves it nor the other things below. The only thing I notice is, I can save it for a 5-10 second window when the file first opens up and I use CTR-S. Then after that, it will freeze. It is making Premiere unusable, which is not what I'm paying hundreds of dollars a year for 😞 Tried using older version (v22.6.2) insteadTried clearning media cacheTried importing old project file into new v23.0 ProjectTried using a brand new v23.0 project with nothing inside of it I can use the program for a long as I wanted editing with no issue. It only freezes/crashes when I hit save.If I close the save dialogue box, it will being unresponsive when I click on the main program window. Any advice or solutions are welcome. Screenshot of the save window progress freezing below. v23.0Windows 10Initiate the save functionExpect save, but it freezes when doing so

hi how can i use graphic templates from premiere pro2024 and type in arabic ?? there is no option to change language in graphics preferences thnk you
Hi, I've been trying to solve this issue for a while. I have a foreign language I need to transcribe and translate. This is how my workflow looks like so far: 1. Transcribe the video with the original language. 2. Export the transcript as text file3. Translate the transcript using Google Doc into English4. Download the translated Google doc as text file5. Import the text file back to premiere with import corrected transcript6. The Problem.... For some reason, the imported transcript has a weird timecode structure that's different from the original transcript. While the original transcript matched the timecode when the speakers speak, the translated one appeared as large chunks of paragraphs in one of the timecode sections. Meanwhile, the rest of the timecodes are filled with the original language transcript. Any suggestions?
How to change my video layout from Landscape to Portrait?(a.k.a How to rotate my video layout?)
I'm exporting a video to Apple ProRes4444 and I'm noticing that the audio upon export is incredibly inconsistent with the audio in playback on my timeline. The most glaring example seems to be a pan I have in the left channel of a cup being set down plays fine in premiere, but upon export it comes out of my right speaker. Beyond that, I'm noticing my ambient audio tracks for room tone are way too present after exporting. I've never really had an issue like this before so trying to figure it out for a quick turnaround if anyone has any helpful ideas. Working off of version 24.3.0 (Build 59) of Premiere on a Apple M1 Macbook Ro (Sonoma 14.5)I can confirm that I'm exporting audio in stereo. Thanks
Ever since a recent update, Premiere 2024 randomly crashes in the middle of editing sessions. It's so disruptive to my workload and I'm continually losing so much unsaved work. No issues with system compatibility. Not what I would expect for a high-ticket subscription software. Anyone else noticed the same?
La linea amarilla de las vistas previas al ser procesadas y quedar en verde cuando el proyecto se cierra la mayoria de las veces vuelve a quedar en amarillo como si nunca se hubiesen procesado las vistas previas. ¿alguien sabe el motivo?
I have an audio recording that I had transcribed and I had it re transcribed so I could make changes to who was speaking and correct the words that the machine misheard. For some reason when I click on the recording in the timeline it switches to a different version of the transcript that does not have the edits I made and still call them speaker. How do I stop there being two different versions and just one version?
My project has been completely messed up because Premiere Pro is seemingly unable to differentiate files of the same name. I've returned to an old project having moved the footage folder to a separate hard drive, but not changing the directory inside the footage folder at all: it consists of several folders with video files of the same naming format counting up to around 200 (e.g. x01, x02, etc). What I've found upon Premiere automatically relinking is that the program has confused almost all of these files, to the extent that the 'last path' for many of them is incorrect and ponts to the wrong folder, and there seems to be no way of recovering the original correct paths. With hindsight I should have renamed every file or added a number distinction to them as I have done with every case of working with footage like this since. At the time I assumed there were other ways Premiere could tell video files apart. I'm desperate to find a solution besides spending a day relinking ev
Hi there everyone. I have this rather tedious issue with dynamic linking text from Premiere to AE. I am subtitling in my Premiere Pro timeline above my footage, and I want to apply effects to this text inside of AE by using dynamic link on the Premiere Pro text (because I use a certain AE script that creates the effects I'd like to have on the text). It's easier for me to do all the text inside of the Premiere timeline you see, it's a lot-lot faster, that's for sure. However, when I use dynamic link on the text layers in Premiere, they are imported as precomposed layers in AE... To say the least it's driving me nuts because I cannot for life of me find a way to import them as the standard editable text layers. I have to copy and paste non-stop to get the actual layers out of the precomps but at least they are at the correct timestamps when I take them out... I did see a script that could've helped called un-precompose (I think) but it's outdated and isn't opt
I installed Lock and Load to as a free trial and as the trial has expired there is now text on the footage I applied the plugin to. How do I uninstall this plugin?Thank you.
Premiere Pro vers 24.3.0 Type in Log Notes and on project re-open disappear, gone any ideas why ?
I don't know the problem, and it can't work like that anymore. A minute video takes about 50 minutes to export, does not have weighty effects, and I am working with 4k footage on a 9:16 of 1920x1080...
Hi I want to create an XML file in order to import markers to Premiere Pro for a video file. I'm building it for a feature our company develops, so it should be pretty resilient to Premiere Pro version changes.I wonder if there is some official way to create this XML. In any case I'd love to have some pointers on how to do it. By the way, I've attached some example file from the web as a reference (Not sure this is the right way to do it). Thanks!
Hello, I have not found an answer on this forum or with a search of the internet. I am trying to output a 1080 HD video with closed captions for Quicktime playback on a Mac, using Export in Premier 2022. To be clear, I want to be able to turn the captioning on and off within Quicktime. I read that they need to be formatted in CEA-608 format. However, in the Export tab, down in the Captions dropdown, I only see .SRT as an option. Is that the end of story? Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to do it in Media Encoder (have not tried yet). I see in previous versions there were all sorts of options for doing this. I tried to choose a Quicktime preset, thinking that would give me the options I need, but I am not seeing it. My captions were created within PP using auto-transcribe, and then tweaked. I did not make any settings. I have heard about importing captions and then changing their format before putting in the timeline. Any direction or workarounds
I've seen several posts about lagging playback, but none of the tips I found worked. My issue is a bit different—normal forward playback is smooth, as expected. However, backward playback is extremely choppy, with most frames being lost, making it completely unusable. Premiere Pro version: 24.6.1Windows version: 10.0.26100, Build 2610014900 / 4080 Super / 128GB RAM / SSD 990 Pro 4TB I expect smooth playback in both directions. The edited material consists of Canon R5 files in 4K ALL-I format, which, as I understand, shouldn't be a challenge for this setup.
Premiere Pro 2024 crashing as soon as Windows is accessed through Premiere Pro.Meaning Save As, Export selection as Premiere Project, Import media through Premiere and changing file names and location for export will make Premiere crash immediately. Installed a fresh windows including new Adobe Suit and no change. Tried different version of Premiere and no change Premiere version: 24.6.1Windows 11 Pro 23H2
