Hey everyone, I recently did a shoot for a major event but my mic seemed to not be recording well. When checking footage there's a distorted noise over every other sound. I think I may have plugged up the wrong cables, but is there a way I can get rid of that noise and have my regular sound back? 

Trying to resize a color matte in Premiere Pro 2025, and using either the ECP or the properties panel to do it results in an image the in the playback monitor that isn't consistant. While adjust thing the scale sliders, instead of properly scaling down, it will start then the color matte will fill the program monitor even though I've reduced it's size to 5%. It's impossible to accurately turn it into a thin line. This is in the current release version.  

Hi all, I started playing around with premiere's new color management. This all looks great but there is one point that's a little frustrating to me.We mainly shoot on Sony cameras and my worflow over the past years has been to apply Sonys lc709a Lut to the footage and then start correction and grading. In my opinion this LUT gives me a great starting point and most of the footage already looks pretty good out of the box. Processing S-Log footage in the new color management gives me a starting point that's way worse than what I get via the old workflow. I fully understand the advantages of a wide gamut working color space but at this time it is more time consuming for me to get good results. Do I get something wrong here? Or is there a LUT to get the lc709a standard within ACEScct?Looking forward to get some input.

Hey all,I'm hoping someone can help as I'm absolutely flummoxed by this issue!I'm working on a video that has quite a few nested sequences in it (nested sequences within nested sequences too). This has all worked fine in the production of this video so far but after rendering it, I've noticed that the cross fades between nested sequences just don't work - things are missing in the crossfade and pop up after the fade is finished.My video switches between three different point of view of a game. All three views last the full duration of the video. I've put each screen capture point of view video into a sub sequence so that I can layer some overlay text and a character model directly on each video so that I when choosing shots from the videos, I don't have to have loads of tracks in the main sequence with lots of fades in many layers at once etc. I originally had these nested POV sequences in the same track on the main sequence with a standard cross-fade between each clip. Hi, This issue came up randomly, without me updating premiere pro or windows ect. I tried to play an imported video and the audio plays(albeit after a short delay), but the video is frozen. This is in both the source monitor and the timeline. This project file was working perfectly a few days ago, and when I come back, this issue has appeared. I've noticed that the media is taking way longer to load(as in the orange/yellow sign comes up saying "media pending"), even after the whole project has loaded properly. Even in the project panel where all the imported media are stored, when I try and play the video within the project panel, the "media pending" sign comes, but the audio is playing. This problem is only coming up in this particular project file, not in any other previous project I've made. This may not be relevant, but I've got over 10 timelines in this one project.I've updated my windows, but this hasn't solved the issue...Any help will be appreciated.Thank you in advance

I apologize for what I said about Adobe Premiere Pro.Throughout my time working with Premiere Pro, the program is good, but it has fatal problems that the company's developers must address in the coming years.The program requires very high requirements, and when these resources are available, the system crashes every now and then. On Mac, it's fairly good, but on Windows, it's terrible. The program constantly freezes, lags, and crashes, and dynamic drops are also bad. When path changes occur, the project crashes, and when calling new links, it takes a very long time and sometimes fails after multiple attempts.The program's interface has been unchanged for years, and it has problems and lags a lot. It's not as smooth as other programs like Final Cut, Da Vinci, and CapCut.There's a problem with path tracking and rendering. Hello, I have many footage (I suppose they were shot on different phones). Some of them Rec. 709, some Rec. 2100 HLGMy sequence is Rec.709So, if I add footage Rec.709 they look good. But if I add Rec.2100 HLG they look wrong. If I change their Color Space to Rec.709, they look a bit better, but still too gray (not as the original ones).So, my question. How to combine Rec.709 and Rec.2100 HLG in one sequence, so both look like the original? Thank you!

I've added a multicamera sequence to my timeline just as I have many times before but no matter what I try, I can't get it to display the other angles in the multicamera view. I've even tried a clean reinstall. Did something change with this version? How do I get the multicamera view back?

Has anyone noticed a slight lag when doing Track Select Forward?  I edit podcasts and I work with the Track Select Forward heavily when editing and trimming down interviews and with the new update I noticed a lag when moving clips/audio with the track select forward.  I tried shorter videos/audio in a different project file, and the lag is still there.  I hope adobe can address this. Thanks

I'm working on a large complex multi-year documentary project using the Productions workflow, so my media is in separate projects than my timeline (original footage is in one project, archival footage in another project, each act of the film is in its own project, and so on, to keep file sizes and autosaves reasonable). When I go to export one of my timelines, I get the warning: "Offline material is present in this export and will be encoded using the Offline Media graphic." I'm not seeing an offline clip anywhere in the timeline, but the timeline is long and complex, so there could possibly be an offline file hiding somewhere. What is the best way to definiteively locate these clips? Because my media is in multiple different projects in Productions, it does not really work to use properties in the Project panel to find offline clips as in Gerik Parmele's method shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4KnfCwbuvI Please let me know if you've found or can think of a different way! Does anyone know how to instal Cinema Grade on Premiere Pro? I downloaded the program, turned off my fire wall, made sure premiere isnt just running on software in the general settings, but the Cine Grade Plug in still doesn't show on my effects menu. Thank you. 

Hey guys!! i've been facing this blacked out text box problem in premier pro for the past 2 days and the text panel is also blacked out and the export setting panel as well. Someone please help me resolve this issue. I've attached the images below.

Premiere won't let me save my project and won't render the files for exporting.The issue isn't storage space as I have plenty and isn't where I'm saving it.If I try to "save as" to a different location I get the same result.I have tried this on 2 different macs, and same problem persists.Also for some reason the speech enhance stopped working.I dialed that in first and it is no all over the place.It also only seems to happen in this project.I've been working on this project all week and it only started happening 3 hours ago.Anyone else having this issue? I'm open to any possibilities of user error, but I've been using Premiere regularly since 2012 and have never seen this.

Its my first time download Premiere Pro. I open it but its pop up a error notice, it said "This application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) My version is v24.6.1

Do proxies not play back well if the source footage is variable frame rate? I have an old GoPro clip in a 23.976 fps sequence. When I turn on the proxy, it doesn't play back well. The original GoPro footage says it's 30.01 fps (which makes me think variable frame rate). The proxy is 30 fps ProRes Proxy. The same thing happens with screen record footage for which proxies were made. 

I have a video finished and edited. It has LOTS of titles and text effects. I export my widescreen 1920x1080 version and everything looks great. Then I duplicate that sequence and change the settings to 1080 x 1080 for a square version I will post on FaceBook and instead of just cropping, it resizes all the text and it looks terrible. All my text was placed within the 1080x1080 square boundary. See screenshots. I just want it all to stay in place but Premiere automatically resizes. I have tried with and without the "Scale motion effects Proportionally when changing frame size" option in the sequence setting box. Please help! Thanks in advance.

Hello, I recently purchased the premium version of the Autokroma BRAW plugin. I've been using the free version on a project I've been editing for a month now, and it worked great so I decided to buy the premium version. When I opened my project again, all my media was offline. I tried to link the media again, and it came up with an error message saying "the importer reported a generic error."I tried clearing my cache and restarting Premiere, but the same thing happens.I tried viewing the clips in Autokroma's BRAW Studio, and it comes up with an error message.When I view the clips in the regular Blackmagic RAW player, they work just fine.I also tried renaming one of the clips and trying to link the media again in Premiere, but that still didn't work.I have no idea what to do! I am a bit stressed about it. Does anyone have ideas or advice on what to do?Thank you! 🙂

Hallo! Ich bekomme beim Exportieren einer Video-Doku ständig folgende Fehlermeldung. Ich habe den Effekt beim besagten Time-Code bereits gelöscht, Fehler tritt trotzdem weiterhin auf. Ebenfalls bereits Premiere Pro (inkl. Cache/Einstellungen) komplett neu installiert. Im Dateinamen sind keine Umlaute. Ich habe das Projekt auch bereits in ein neues Projekt importiert, da dies den Fehler beheben sollte, funktioniert ebenfalls nicht. Wenn ich die Sequenz beim Timecode entferne, hängt sich der Export dann bei der nächsten Sequenz auf. Habe ebenfalls die Beta-Versionen von Premiere-Pro und Media-Encoder probiert. Der Export direkt aus Premiere heraus funktioniert ebenfalls nicht.Hat jemand eine Idee, was man noch als Work-Around probieren könnte?System ist ein M1 Max (32 GB RAM), macOS Monterey und die aktuellste Version Premiere/Media Encoder.

Hello, good day. For 3 days, I have been struggling with a very serious problem — when rendering edits made in the latest version of Premiere Pro, I waited for 5 days and still got no result. The render stops at 13% and does not move for hours; sometimes it stalls at 80% and does not progress. However, I had no such problems with the old version 24.0. A video I had to deliver has become extremely costly for me. What did you do to this application? I used to render much faster with my 3060 graphics card, but now I can't even get it moving with a 5070.

I'm new to Premiere 2024 and I've serched this but haven't found a deifintive answer yet. When my timeline is zoomed out to encompass a fairly lenthy period, say for instance 10 seconds (at 24 fps), the clip end that I'm dragging appears not to snap to the large "second" intervals. I'm pretty sure it's snapping at the frame level, though. Is there any way to make the clip ends snap to a timeline grid that's in a more zoomed state -- so snap onto the whole second intervals while zoomed out? But still  snap to the frame intervals when zoomed to in to that level? This is dragging the clip beginnings and ends I'm talking about, not the playhead. Though now that I'm looking at it, the playhead seems to be exhibiting the same behavior.I have "snap to timeline" enabled under the "sequence" menu, but whether that's on or off doesn't seem to make a differce. The playhead AND the clip ends will snap at a frame level when zoomed in but not a larger level when zoomed out.&

There are a lot of posts about this, many with suboptimal answers, so I'm going to post what I've learned, and add links to here from all the other posts I've seen. You don't need to convert the file to a different codec to import. That would obviously degrade quality, as well as being an extra step. Some people have noted that WebM formats are designed for content delivery, not editing, and using them for editing may be inefficient. The best solution for this is proxying, not converting to a different format before importing. (Of course if the video was originally recorded in some other format, and converted to WebM, it is better to get the original files if possible.) The free WebM plugin from Fnord supports importing (decoding), not just exporting, although they don't mention this in its description. Had a problem with graphics in the timeline yesterday: Was having two different rectangles move - spin and move from one place to another, and needed to create a bit more space for one version to fit a bigger sub-head title. Copied the perfectly good set of five elements (background color, logo, text and two rectangles) one from one sequence to another, went to the endpoint and subtracted 200 pixels from the vertical on those two rectangles. Should be easy peasy, right? Not so much. In between the starting position and the end position, with no visible keyframes, the rectangles moved in ways not desired nor shown in the timeline. clicked and dragged both start and end point keyframes and deleted. Added fresh and got same problem. Chatted Adobe and was told to delete the whole thing and start over, which is easy enough in this case, but jeez, isn't that what we're not supposed to have to do? There have been other issues, too, like just rendering out four videos and being told two of the
