Questions

 Above is a short reel video. I want to add text to that video as below. I tried with adjustment layer but it did not work. How to do it?  

This still isn't fixed for me in Sept 2025. I have to Reset To Saved Layout before importing any media, and I have do so repeatedly for each batch of files I am importing. Worse, Premiere does not actually save the correct layout of my preferred workspace, so I have to recreate it every time I want to import media.   I have to do the same before using the Replace Media function in the right click menu.   I have to do the same before selecting the save location while exporting.   It seems to happen any time Premiere has to access my computer's file system   @Fergus H you were a rock star at solving the interpreted footage proxy issue from a few years back. I wonder if you would mind taking a look at this import issue? All the best.   [This post was branched from an older post for troubleshooting]

Hello,I have several clips with sounds which are linked with video together. I want to put the title at the beginning. Title is five second long and there is no sound and it has black background. The problem is that if I put it at the beginning with CTRL key only video moves for five seconds forward. Sound from the clip is still at the same position. I do not know why if the video and audio is linked together.I use the newest version of Premiere pro.Thank you for your help.Jakub

Aujourd'hui, même , j'ai installé la mise à jour de  (la version 25.2.3). Alors qu'elle fonctionnait très bien hier, aujourd'hui après la mise à jour, impossible de l'ouvrir ! voici la fenêtre d'erreur : Adobe premiere pro est endommagé et ne peut pas être ouvert. Vous devriez placer cet élément dans la corbeille.  J'ai désinstallé et réinstallé plusieurs fois l'application (j'ai tout supprimé, j'ai réparé...) et rien n'y fait. Il ne veut plus me l'ouvrir ! Avez-vous eu ce problème ? Qu'avez-vous fait ?  

The attached video demonstrates Premiere Pro's escalating RAM usage during editing, caused by the inefficient management of committed memory. Although clearing the media cache is often suggested as a fix, it provides only temporary relief. By default, Premiere Pro stores its cache on the C:/ drive, so clearing the cache merely delays the problem by freeing up space for the committed memory to continue filling up.When editing in Premiere Pro, Windows transfers unused data from RAM to the committed memory space, which Premiere Pro fails to release. This data accumulates in the C:/ drive (Windows default), gradually filling available space. Eventually, you'll encounter the error message "Adobe Premiere Pro is running very low on system memory" followed by a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) or abrupt system crash.This issue persists regardless of clip resolution or codec. Hi, I have an old premiere file - it was created about 5 or 6 years ago. I've just opened it up in the latest version of Premier and the audio layer is not playing. I get the following errors shown  in the screenshot below and the second screenshot shows what the audio layer looks like. I was just wondering if anyone knows a solution to this? Thanks in advance.  

I recently upgraded to 25.4.0 and now the Luma Key effect says that it is offline.

Hi:I was wondering how many clips I have between minute 1 and minute 0 (for example)Selected them all with the A tool, and no indicator of how many clips were selected showed upI feel this is a lack in the ergonomy departement.I am suggesting to add this option. Thanks

Hi everyone,I’m importing HDR video footage shot on an iPhone into Premiere Pro, and the colors look completely washed out / desaturated compared to how they appear on the phone.Has anyone dealt with this? Is there a specific workflow, LUT, or color space setting I should be using to preserve the original look of the iPhone HDR video?Thanks in advance!     

I find the whip transition very useful as I'm sure many do.  There is just one small problem for me however -  the transition goes only from left to right.  Any chance of it going from right to left as well?  It seems odd to me that the first clip doesn't appear to move "out of the way" (i.e. to the left) before the second clip appears.

I have opened Premiere Pro today to find all the label colours in my timeline appear to be inverted. The lighter colour is now the main body of the clip and the darker colour is now the waveform. I have tried to go through all the different label group styles. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application. Does anyone know how to get this back to the default colours.    I have attached an image of what it should look like and what it looks like now.

Set poster frame isn't working for me in Premiere 2022. Anyone else having this issue? Did premiere change the way to set a poster frame thumbnail?

When generating a transcript it becomes possible to remove for instance silences and breaks. You can search for a word within the transcript, but you can't actually delete it when right clicking for instance. How do you delete a section of the timeline directly by deleting the word?

Is there any new feature make it possible to convert a reel into usual video without lossing it's quality?   

I'm making roll like 'Star wars' but I can't controll its speed. Please tell me how to change the roll speed.

Hola a todos, ¿alguien solucionó esto?  He etsado trabajando en premiere pro, y hoy quise abrir la aplicación y me dice que no puedo abrir la apliación, pregunto al chat de adobe y no me da solución.   Uso una mac m1 actualizada y no he tenido problemas antes.  Tambien noté en el centro de notificaciones de adobe creative cloud, dos cosas que llamaron mi atención y que no he podido resolver, y ahora pienso que pueda esto ser una causa del problema:    1) Me marca error 136 en Media Encoder, dice que vuelva a actualizar, pero lo hago y no pasa nada, o sea llevo una semana tratando de entender qué hacer con esa notificación. 2) Dice que las bibliotemas no se están actualizando pero la manera en la que me indica que resuelva el problema no es efectiva. Entonces..... Si alguien me puede ayudar con esto porfavor!

Is there way to add any file extension other than *.mp4 in the save as list of options?

We’re running into a widespread issue: all major certificate authorities have recently restricted the ability to export .p12 and .pfx files due to private key security protocols. This has effectively blocked traditional signing methods required for Adobe Exchange. We are now exploring cloud-based code signing options as a potential workaround — and possibly the only viable path forward. If Adobe has any officially recommended providers or documentation on how to sign CEP extensions using cloud signing infrastructure, we would greatly appreciate direct links and guidance on how to proceed. Hi,I'm trying to make a video using footage I captured using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS.) When I play the clip normally on my media player, it works just fine. But when I import the files into Premiere, the video's there but the audio is gone. Why is this happening, and how can I fix this?

Hi.  Adobe Support recommended that I post my question here. I have several Adobe certifications - including one for Adobe Premiere Pro - that I am seeking to renew before they expire. The Adobe account under which I had earned them was associated with a student email account that has since been shut down and rendered inaccessible. That means I can't access that account, log in to use the Adobe online tool to update my email, or use the reset my password function (which would require retrieving a code sent to the old address). I opened a case with Adobe's certification department about this issue and they directed me to Certiport, the third-party service through which I earned the certificates. Certiport has updated information on their end but said I need to go through Adobe to get my email address updated for my Adobe account. I've spoken a couple of times with Adobe Support, who pointed me to my school district's IT department.  The IT deparment sa

Hi There,  Months ago I found a download here I think for the QT Gamma Compensation LUT ... I just updated my mac and now the file is a .cube and I don't know how to change it to a usable file again. Help? Does anyone know where I can find the file again to download & use?   [Moderator edited subject line. Afetr working on this project file for nearly a year, today it has decided to align every video to some random value that isnt the center (even though it shows it as center) and crop all of my footage from 16:9 to something else. I haven't touched anything in this sequence, but is has done this across all 6 I had. Does anyone know of a fix as otherwise I have nearly 2 hours of footage to realign which will take me weeks.   

Someone explain to me why premiere is using too much memory compared to Resolve. UsingM1 pro16 GB of ramPremiere Pro version 24.2.1 I have a basic interview, filmed with the bmpcc 6K in, 6k Braw 12:1. The edited video is 5:30 min, downsized to Full HD. When i export the interview, Premiere ask to quite apps to make room for more memory space. If I understand it correctly, Apple is able to use the memory space as ram when things get crazy. So for instance, Premiere will be using 55 GB of memory, while the Mac Book Pro i'm using has 16 gb of ram (memory).  What I don't understand is, why does Premiere need more than 55 Gb to render while Resolve never goes above 7 GB of ram (memory). With all the AI and useless feuture they give us. Seems like this software is still not effient.

I am experiencing an issue with Adobe Premiere Pro. Suddenly, "Transform", option on Effect Control option has disappeared from my workspace and the Properties option is also not functioning properly. I have tried restarting the software and checking my workspace settings, but the problem persists.
