Does anyone know why this happens?Windows 11 SystemAdobe Pro 2025From Microsoft Word - Save as PDFKept all of the defaults when we installed Adobe Pro 2025.Our IT team tried the following:Had a mixed 32/64-bit Office installation due to Microsoft Access Database Engine 2007 32-bit. Repaired Adobe, removed database engine, and reinstalled Office. Installed Dell Power Manager and set it to Ultra Performance mode to speed things up. Exacqvision was using more than 40% of CPU budget in the background; Microsoft Edge another 30%. Ended those processes. Enabled core isolation/memory protection, updated programs, disabled Edge adware, and transferred sticky notes. PC has pending operating system updates, the BIOS hasn't been updated since 2021, and system file checker (sfc) has a pending operation.  After Windows updates finished, he logged in and the Office+Adobe.  repair did not resolve the issue. sfc /scannow found corruption and repaired it. HelloI have a form that calucates hour worked. There are two time-in and time-out sections that are added together to get the total hours worked. Everything works fine if the time-in and time-out values are in the same 12-hour period. If a worker clocks in at 8:00am and clocks out at 5:13pm the total hours worked is 9:13. All is well in the world.   Here is the problem. If a worker clocks in at say 8:00pm and clocks out at 3:00am the next morning, I get a value of -17:00. Is it possible to create a script to use in the console that scans the entire PDF and finds all cases where a field references another field that doesn't exist?

This only happens in Excel 2013.  I am using Adobe DC.  When I right click on an Excel document on my desktop and select "Convert to Adobe PDF" I get this error.  I have tried to add in the "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" and it still does not work.  I have inactivated it and it still does not work. I am using Adobe DC. If I open the document in Excel and save it as a PDF I do not have problems.  But I can't save as PDF from an Excel document on the desktop or from a file folder on my PC. I have also run a repair on both MS Office 2013 and Acrobat DC - neither helped. I've found lots of people with this problem but no answers for me. thanks

Hello, I'm not experienced in Adobe JavaScript but recently I've faced a problem: is there a way to automatically count all types of comments in one document opened with Adobe Acrobat Reader Pro? ​I even found a JavaScript on the internet. I'm trying to create a form to calculate parental leave weeks. I have a version where if the employee enters the start and end date, the number of weeks of their leave would be calculated. My form has required fields and I want to identify blanks before applying the electronic signature and then emailing. I need the JS to work in the following order 1. Check for blank required fields 2. If complete apply signature and then save the file 3. Prompt emailing the document   I am using the following Java Script in the Digital Signature Properties under the Signed tab. Hello. I am trying to add a video to my PDF, and I keep getting an error was encountered. I have followed the proper steps but it continues to give me an error. I open a PDF file (have tried several different ones just in case one was corrupted). I then go to Tools, and add Rich Media, and then select video. From here I drag my mouse on the page to draw a box where I want the video to appear. When the next box pops up, I select a MP4 video file that is saved on my computer on my desktop. When I do this I get a black box with a little prompt at the top that says activate. When I click on this, it says connecting, but then just times out and gives me an error everytime. Am I doing something wrong here? I looked online and these are the steps that I am told to follow. I have tried several different videos (including those with a small file size) but nothing works. HELP PLEASE!!! Thank you.

I installed Acrobat XI pro in February and it has worked fine until fairly recently I get the error when I try to print to a pdf : "Windows cannot find 'C:Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\AcroTray.exe'"  When I try to repair, I get the error message "Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid".  When I try to uninstall the program, Windows 10 does nothing.  I did upgrade from Acrobat 10 pro.  Any suggestions/solutions would be great.

I have an old software product that required us to use Distiller to generate Bills to be sent to a printer.  Distiller would embed all the required fonts including different bar codes and so forth so that what the printer generated would match "exactly" what we would print.  Unfortunately it looks like we can not longer use Acrobat Distiller 5.0 with the new Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. I am looking for help to either continue to use the Acrobat Distiller 5.0 so that I can print the document through a printer driver of Distiller...or I need to know which current Adobe product I need to perform this same functionality. Enabled migration between Adobe Acrobat Pro (Cloud version) and M365, The goal is to select PDF file stored on OneDrive or SharePoint Online, right click, select "Edit with Adobe" and open the PDF in Acrobat Pro for editing.  The option ("Edit with Adobe") shows up on OneDrive but not on SharePoint Online, any idea why?

I am unable to send anything backward or move it forward in my Acrobat PDF, which was generated by creating a PDF of my Outlook Calendar using Outlook's Print button. New text boxes are always on top of older ones, and there's nothing I can do about it. I managed to find the Arrange tool, but it's greyed out. I searched for why the Arrange tool might be greyed out, but all I get are answers about checking the security settings (there seems to be no security setting selected), making sure the object isn't on its own layer (I don't see any separate layers when I pull up the Layers pane), or the possibility that digital signatures might be interfering with the functionality (I can't find any trace of digital signatures in the file). This is an extremely basic feature that I never had trouble with in Acrobat, but of course when my company switched to a different program for a couple of years and switched back, the new version of Acrobat is insanely different from the old one and

I can no longer find my "organize pages" tool.  Any ideas ?? 

We have multiple users attempting to combine PDF files but there are multiple times where application crashes. When it crashes seems to be random depending on the file but we are no where near the file limit. This happens on both the desktop and web versions of the app. 

I can't close the app down or update it or anything it only says this:"Please wait while we work to resolve the issue, then try again. If the issue is not resolved, please contact customer service." But nothing happens. Please help me:)

Hello!  First time poster here... I'm not a heavy user of Acrobat, but I DO use it to create Pitch Decks.  Normally I create all the slides in After Effects, export as images, and import the images into Acrobat, adding the requisite hot links there.  I realize this seems a bit Byzantine to many users, but I can more easily make nuanced fonts with depth and effects there than in acrobat, and it suits my working requirements... UNTIL RECENTLY!   Specifically, when I go into "edit" mode to add hot links, the AI assistant AUTOMATICALLY GOES INTO OCR MODE AND CHANGES ALL MY BURNED IN TEXT TO FONT ON EVERY PAGE OF THE FILE.  THERE IS NO WAY TO DEACTIVATE THIS OR TELL AI TO IGNORE THE TEXT!!! (Either that or there is no updated instructions on  how to access this - and yes I asked LLMs) And what's worse... I CAN NO LONGER DOWNLOAD THE OLDER VERSIONS OF ACROBAT TO REMEDY THIS!!!!    This completely kneecaps a workflow I have established.  &nbsp

Hi there!I have been redacting a document with Arobat Pro and at some point I've clicked something and suddenly there are empty comment boxes all down the side of the document, each one attached to each redaction I have done. I have no idea how this happened so now have no idea how to get rid of them. I dont want or need any of them so is there a way to get rid of all of them together? I've already redacted well over half the document (hundreds of pages) so I really dont want to have to delete all redactions to get rid of the comment boxes unless I absolutely have to.I assume whatever I did is just a check box somewhere but I have no idea where, can anyone help? Thank you.

I am working in Acrobat Pro 64-bit with a PDF which has 1500 comments, and I select "Collapse All" to make Acrobat more responsive, otherwise any actions relating to the Comments Panel are extremely sluggish, aking about half a second to process each click etc. When I select "Collapse All", I find that the tabs for many later pages are not collapsed. In the end I had to wait around 5 minutes for Acrobat to process all the comments to the end of the list before "Collapse All" actually did what it was meant to do i.e. Collapse ALL. Not sure this is a bug, just poor optimisation. I am on a fairly well specced computer, so I'd be surprised if this was the issue.

Hi. I have suddenly lost the PDF icon/thumnails while in list view on a Mac. If I look at icon view I can see the preview, or if I expand the size of the icon in list view I can see the thumnail. But I don't want these view options. I have ticked the "Show Preview" in the view options. Please assist. Thanks

I've been trying to print using the custom scale but it won't  print the percentage size desire. I've tried from different computers thinking that maybe I press something wrong but I keep encountering the same problem. It used to let me do it without an issue so I wonder what happened

I have forms, that  I created witch Acrobat Pro on my PC.When I´m trying to enter Data on any other page, than page one, the cusor jumps back  to page one immediatly, so it is impossible to enter any information.Using the wondershare pdf app everything works as ist should. Same on PC with Acrobat.Did anybody have this problem before?I´d be very gratefull for your help. Is there a way to move and fix this toolbar in the right side ? It's really annoying having floating panels. I usually have it in the top part fix in the last version
