When I open a PDF file I can scoll for a few seconds then I can't and then the PDF closes automaticallyI have no idea why this is happening. I have cleaned my hard drive from any thing that could be affecting anything related to this problem.So HELP I pay for Adobe each month and now I can't really use it 

I can't find "add text comment" (without a border) tool in August 2023 Acrobat.When I choose another similar sounding tool called "insert text comment" and clicking on a newly-created blank page, nothing happens. (I don't know what this for in either old or new version. It may have something to do with cursor?)Workaround is to use "add text comment" (with a border), change properties to always have no border displayed and resize the border after typing.The old version behavior of "add text comment" appeared to add text at position clicked on a page and then flowed right until reaching the edge of the document before wrapping to a line below original click.Is there a way to accomplish the old behavior of the "add text comment" without a border tool in the new version?

I tried even to sign out, and sign in again, but it didn’t work, also my account is linked by two email, that’s why I tried to login with the other email, but it didn’t work as well.

Hello and thank you!I made an interactive brochure in indesign. My QC team is asking me to remove the unintended drop down function attached to my hyperlinks when viewed in a browser (safari/chrome). I have tried making the hyperlinks in indesign as well as in acrobat as a test. It happens to both PDFs and seems to be random, not all links. I have quite a bit of experience but am completely unsure of what to try next. I need those pesky drop downs to go away! Thank you in advance.I am using the latest CC indesign and acrobat.

I have recently switched from NitroPDF to Adobe Acrobat DC and I'm starting to question why. So much more difficult than Nitro and Soda PDF, and more expensive! I am trying to add an image to pdf, using the Add Image>Select>open method, to which Adobe responds with a box that says "opening image file as Adobe pdf" (God only knows why !)I then get an error box - "Unknown error" and it then says "the selected image could not be converted and placed in the document"I have tried this with .jpg and .png imagesWhy is this not working?

I'm using Windows 11.  I've used Adobe Acrobat Pro for many years but recently upgraded to Windows 11 and am wondering if my issue is related. Using multiple monitors (extended view) when I open a pdf file on one monitor there is one icon in the taskbar showing my open file name as expected. If I MOVE this pdf document to one of my other monitors the taskbar DUPLICATES and shows two open files with the same name even though I only have ONE document open.  If I move it to the third monitor sometimes it shows in triplicate.  This is visually distracting and uses up my taskbar space.  If I open a second document it is very difficult to tell which file to toggle back to as the "phantom" files don't react if I click on them.

I create forms with multiple fields. Fields are set up the same way by type. So my text fields are multi-line with scrolling, spell-check and rich text enabled. All Actions, Format, Validation and Calculate options are set the same. Obviously, the positions vary and the name field differs, however, the other options are identical in these tabs.On occasions, some of the fields will accept input and when you click away the field looks blank. If you click on the field it shows the text which was entered. In the same Adobe PDF form, some fields will have this issues while others work perfectly.I changed all my form fields to use "Auto" font size, which appear to make the forms more stable. Now, I found this doesn't always work.I recently tried to find information on best practices, causes, troubleshooting or anything that could help me ensure stable forms. I have found nothing except change the font size, which I had already guessed at as noted.My latest guess to correct the problem is to

This just started happening last week.In Word I have added alt text to images. Create a pdf - no alt text. used “Save As Adobe PDF”, Acrobat plugin: “Create PDF”  and “Create PDF and Run Action: Make Accessible”. All same result - no alt text. Tried different images.btw asked other people to create PDF - the alt text is in the PDF. Any ideas of what is going wrong? 

I have a two‑page PDF in Adobe Acrobat, and each page is standard letter size. I need to combine these two pages into one continuous, vertically long page so it prints as a single sheet without any visible page breaks. The background is a light beige, so the final page needs to look seamless with no lines or breaks between the original pages.I am currently using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 (Classic 1), Version 2020.005.How can I accomplish this in my version of Acrobat?

It seems we ran out of activations for our 21 licences for Adobe Acrobat 2020. We recently switched out alot of our old pcs and notebooks for new ones and did not deactivate or uninstall Adobe Acrobat 2020 before discarding them.How can we get back our activations when we do not have access to the old hardware (the harddrives were shredded)?Thank you!

Now, people shouldn't be putting 1 original and checking double-sided, but they are, and it's bothering me that the script is halving it when it shouldn't. I was thinking I want something like if var OG = 1, event.value = OG * CP, but putting that seems to screw up the rest of the formula. For years, I've used interactive PDFs exported directly from InDesign to quickly present layouts and designs. This looks best when presented in full-screen mode, where you can use some of the page transitions offered in InDesign, for example. With my new MacBook Pro and MacOS Big Sur and also Monterey, Acrobat no longer shows the page transitions. What am I doing wrong?

I have Adobe Creative Cloud and can open my document in Acrobat using my password that I created.  But when I open my document with my password in Acrobat and click on EDIT, it asks for the password again but won’t accept it.  I click CANCEL and tells me that it’s a secured document.  I clearly have the password or it wouldn’t have opened in the first place.  There is no other password.  So what’s the problem here?  I’ve found suggestions saying to go into setting to change the security etc, but it again asks for the password to unlock the document, so that clearly isn’t the fix for this.Why won’t Acrobat let me edit my own document? 

When a page is replaced, the links should remain in position. Instead, there is seemingly a bug that rotates every link on the page ninety degrees. If I try inserting a new page and paste the links, the links are also pasting ninety degrees.

Good afternoon, There seems to be an issue after the latest update (25.001.20577) with Adobe Acrobat not responding. Sometimes Acrobat will freeze and we'll need to use task manager to close it out. Most of the time there's a long delay and Acrobat displays "Not responding" but will eventually load. We've attempted to resolve this by running a repair. When this didn't work, we tried using Adobe Cleaner tools to remove Adobe and reinstalled from Creative Cloud. I've seen posts from past years with a similar issue. I've tried everything suggested in those posts including turning off online storage options, disabling protected view, and disabling new acrobat. Please advise. This is greatly affecting many of our user's workflows.

I'm trying to open files from Harmon.ie in Adobe and receiving the following error:  I spoke with a rep from harmon.ie, and they recommended that I update the regedit:  That being said, I’ve tried the following and am still encountering the error. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to get Harmon.ie to open PDFs without the issue above? Would I need to update a setting in Adobe or Regedit?

What does Adobe Acrobat do with the content it translates with AI? Does it keep or save it somewhere? Does it use to train its AI? Does it ANY use with it? Ideally, it should not even get out of my computer or be saved. I learned I can disable Cloud Storage sync so it does not save. I tried to ask the representative and after I asked a little more it disconnected itself and sent me to the Financial Department which I did not ask to go. I urge ADOBE to be very clear and honest with what it does truly with the data translated in Acrobat. 

My request e-signature tool doesn’t work on either the desktop or web app. I have an Adobe Pro subscription through my workplace and I am logging in using the business profile.  On the desktop app, I get an error message saying ‘Authentication Failed’ when I try and use the tool:When I logged in to the web app, I received a message saying that the Request E-Signature tool isn’t available on my profile (same message appears on both business and personal profiles):When I try and click on the tool in the web app, it says it is temporarily unavailable and to try again later: None of my colleagues have this issue and can use the request signature function as normal. I have checked the admin console and I definitely have a Pro license. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat, I have tried signing in and out multiple times, and I have tried restarting my laptop. No luck. Hoping someone here might have a solution?

I’ve just had an unfortunate occurrence of Acrobat 2025 crashing on my PC about 10 seconds after starting. - Which was thoroughly annoying and unforeseen. I had to uninstall and re-install as repair did nothing. (And yes, I was quick enough to get to that menu item eventually - after the fifth try) My question is why was I give the option to save or export preferences at any point?  I really don’t to have to mess around with the register in order to back things up. Is Adobe trying to make things as difficult as possible to get back where you where (after such incidents)?  

Estou trabalhando com Acrobat Pro 2020,  e Windows 11. Tento insertar um modelo 3d em *.u3d num documento pdf, e cando carrego o arquivo a inserir, o programa cae e féchase . Non tenho captura do ecrã, porque cando tentas meter o modelo, cae. Já tentei com diferentes arquivos e modelos 3d. Logo aparece uma mensagem de erro, “ a súa sessão pechou incorrectamente, clique para recuperar” o arquivo, que aparece, por suposto, sem o modelo. Esta versão de Adobe debería permitirme fazer a inserção. 

I had tried Adobe Acrobat Pro free trial with my personal account on my laptop, but after i switched to enterprise account and get the prompts shows: You don't have access to this feature, please contact your IT admin for more details.   when i am trying to edit PDF file.    How can i fix this issue? Thank you for your help!  Connect IT admin is not work at this point.PS: my enterprise account has assigned licenses, it works well on the other laptop. 

Hi,This has been discussed on one other post a month ago without solution but it is still a big problem, in Acrobat (and Reader) DC 2019 our valid signature is marked as invalid. The certificate path shows "Invalid policy constraint" for the issuing certificate paths and the signing certificate. The certificate is issued by Sectigo and AATL approved, this is generating a lot of inconveniences because we can not sign documents anymore .. PS:BTW It also display that the "Document has been altered or corrupted since it has been signed" just when it was generated ..Really Adobe ???Any hints out there ? A better piece of software perhaps ?Cheers, Roland.

I have a form that calculates fees for a permit. Everything works perfect and calculates the total accurately.  My problem is that I have a radio button set up next to the total that is a simple yes/no. If yes is checked, it is supposed to double the total fee. If no is checked, the total fee should remain as is. I have tried every variation I can think of and read all the forums I can find. It seems like it should be extremely simple but I am stuck.  Any advice?
