In my Adobe plugin I am trying oad the toolbar icon like this ASPathName pn = ASFileSysCreatePathFromCString( ASGetDefaultFileSys(), settings.logoFilename );PDDoc doc = PDDocOpen( pn, ASGetDefaultFileSys(), NULL, false );AVIcon icon1 = AVIconCreateFromPDF( doc, 0, 24, 24 );AVIcon icon2 = AVIconCreateFromPDF( doc, 1, 24, 24 );AVToolBarSetIcon( mainToolbar, icon1, icon2 ); but the problem is since the icons are taken from a pdf, the white background of the pdf also appears in the icon. I don't have a perfectly square icon. It has irregular shape. So how to make only the image part of the pdf come in as a icon

Hallo, seit 4 Tagen dauert das Öffnen von PDFs über den ADOBE Acrobat Pro teilweise eine Minute und läuft nur sehr schelppend. Erst dachte cih es liegt an einem Windows Update, aber mein Kollege hat da sgeliche Update un bei ihm läuft Adobe ganz normal. Hat jemand eine Idee? Ich habe das Programm auch schon deinstalliert und neu nstalliert, ebenfalls ohne Erfolg. Danke 

Yesterday I opened up my Tablet to read one of my PDFs and it was missing. And all of the PDFs in that folder were missing. And as I went through my other folders, I found that most of my PDFs were gone. After spending most of my day looking for ways to get them restored, I found that Acrobat had all of the files. I'm not sure how Acrobat moved them. But I'm hoping they are all there. And I have completely lost any organization of the files.I need to know how this happened and how to reverse it. I can't find any of my PDFs I want to read without a lot of time-wasting searching.I had all of these files extensively organized.I need them taken out of Acrobat and put back in their organized folders.How does that get accomplished?

Hi I will save a pdf and have no issues. I can copy and paste from it with no issues. Then when I file the document with a court online, I go to copy the document and it goes like this: '()*%#!&+'*#!678!$#(%+55*!'EFG#%*';!!What happened? I have no security on the document!!!  

I have multiple PPT slides from a presentation that have been saved as PDF. Each page has  a copy of six slides. Is there a way for me to extract the slide copies individually? I want to create a PPT with each of the individual slides. I have attached  the PDF to help. I currently  have Acrobat DC but willing to upgrade if needed.

Whenever I export a PDF from Apple Keynote and try to compress it using Acrobat (Mac), the program freezes or crashes during the compression process. This happens with multiple files, regardless of size or settings. I’m now forced to use free tools like iLovePDF just to get the job done, even though I pay for Adobe. Please look into this compatibility issue between Keynote-exported PDFs and Acrobat’s compression feature.

Hi everyone,I'm running into an issue with PDFs I export from Adobe InDesign. After exporting, the PDF opens fine in Acrobat, but some of the text appears slightly blurry, and images lose a bit of sharpness. This happens even when I export using High Quality Print or Press Quality settings. I am doing it for my game hailey adventure game.Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Ensuring all images are 300 DPI and embedded properlyChecking font embedding and transparency flattener settingsViewing the PDF on different systems (issue persists)Disabling "smooth text/images" in Acrobat preferencesStill, the exported file doesn’t look as sharp as it should, especially on-screen. Dear Community, I'm trying to find a solution to the following problem:I'm exporting PDF with Vectorworks always under the same name (saving and replacing a same file because I am working afterwards with Indesign) and whenever I open the new document exported, the old version of the document is shown in Adobe Acrobat. I cannot see the actualised version, even if the document is actualised for exemple in my Indesign document.Do you have a solution, so that everytime I save a document under the same name, the preview of Adobe Acrobat is also actualised?Thank you very much in advance for your help!

For a few weeks now (and this continued after installing the latest update and trying various fixes like unistalling and reinistalling and changing security preferences, every pdf that I try to bulk change nested form field names immediately freezes once I press enter to change the names. For example, as SS shows, if I try to change Bef at the top to something else, like Pet, the second I press enter acrobat freezes and crashes. Driving me nuts., I cannot find a fix, please help!  

I have just subscribed to Acrobat Export PDF and it does seem to convert files including tables to Excel. However the formatting is driving me crazy, how can I then manipulate the information in Excel?

I've got a PDF that I want to send out as a form to be filled out and emailed back. The Prepare a form function works, but I don't want it to be 'Submitted' by the user (I've tried that function and it's just not working), rather the user should be able to just save a copy and email it back to me. I want to remove any reference to them doing it via Acrobat. I'm on Mac OS. Thanks in advance

In Acrobat's Reduce File Size dialog (File / Save as Other / Recuced Size PDF), the Make Compatible With drop-down always used to default to the latest version - Acrobat 10.0 and Later. Now, it defaults to Retain Existing, which often results in a larger file. How do I get back to the having Acrobat 10 as the default?

I received a PDF for a bill from Defender for five devices. I downloaded it onto my Adobe account as a screenshot. I fear malwear(sp?) 

I need help creating the right javascript to spawn a hidden template page in acrobat reader using a button. At the moment i tried numerous javascripts I found on the web but only manage to get one working in acrobat but when i save my form out for use in acrobat reader it fails to activate.  If anyone knows the code to make spawning page templates in reader using a button (I used the ok button field set to transparent and then the mouse up in action tab with javascript selected) I be most grateful (its for my college project).

I want to extract Arabic text from a pdf. I have attempted many things with no success including exporting to word format, simple copy and paste, installing the apparent font (AXtGIHane), scanning/ocr, etc... Nothing has worked.  I downloaded the trial version of Acrobat DC, and have attempted several things with it as well (installing fonts, exporting, editing, trying to use OCR), without success.  I can see that it has many features/settings so I may be missing something. I notice that when I look for Arabic among the language list, it is not present.  I would be happy to provide a the file I'm using, or a portion of it. Although I'm working with the Macintosh version, I also have Windows 10 available, if that would help.Thanks for your help,-Tony

Hello,I have a contract signed electronically by a service provider (Coffréo), but when I want to open the contract with Acrobat bureau, the signatures are no longer there.However, they are present in Acrobat web, as well as in the Edge and Chrome pdf readers.I've tried other pdf readers, such as Foxit, which work very well.Does anyone know why the desktop version of Adobe Acrobat no longer recognizes my signatures? Thanks !

HI every,  I have a user using  macpro with M1 Max chip and facing a issue that acrobat DC performing very slow when trying to zoom-in a pdf file .I have :(unticked) show comments pane when a PDF with comments is opened (ticked ) Runinng on Native OSUninstall and re-install acrobat with updated lastestwhat should i do next ? 

I used to press "Enter" in the result windows of the "Advanced Search" to move the focus to the matched word. After updating Acrobat to the latest version, the "Enter" key stops working, I have to use mouse click to move to the target page. Is there any setting to change this behaviour, or a new shortcut key? I have tried "F3" and "Ctrl + G" in this link:https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/keyboard-shortcuts.html#keys_for_general_navigatingBut they don't work.Thank you.

Hello,My name is Candace and I live in Shaker Heights, Ohio. This question is going to make me sound ignorant, but I'm running a small business where I'm the one doing the payroll. I create paystubs using a web-based paystub generator service, then they email me them either as a. doc or. pdf. I no longer want to sign the stubs in ink, so I decided to use an e-signature program similar to Docusign. The Docusign help desk was unable to tell me if I can import an e-sig into a document opened in Adobe. I'm currently in free trial mode with Acrobat, I think. I cannot pay for Adobe unless I can perform this action. Thanks for your guidance. If it's not possible to sign paystubs opened in Adobe, I may have to continue signing them the old-fashioned way. My days are spent mostly waiting on Acrobat to do one thing or another since I have plugins for it like FusionPro and PitstopPro. My current computer is an AMD 7900x with a Gen4 SSD and I am wondering if I would get any speed increase from a 9900X3D. Can anyone who has one of the X3D chips share their experience?

I have two computers. One is a desktop. One is a laptop. My cellphone isn't attached to my hip. They are in two different areas of the house. So, I work on either one, at my convenience, when I feel like it as they are synced. Or, I want to look at a pdf that's on my ipad. I have set up Adobe acrobat (and I pay the monthly fee to be able to occasionally edit) on both computers as is allowed. Why must I ALWAYS, went signing onto the Laptop, have to put in a user name, a password, get an QR Code, go in the other room and get my phone, come back into the den, go to the laptop, take a picture of the QR code in order to open Acrobat? Why why why? This is enormously inconvenient. I want to "just simply" be able to open acrobat without having to do acrobatic hurdles and hoops each time I want to look at a pdf on the laptop or the computer. Every device is synced. What is the secret setting to turn this off or on or whatever? 

My source files were deleted after using the 'combine files' function, however, I never saved the file once they were combined. Basically, I wanted to combine these two files so I started doing so and added the two files, I then changed my mind and decided I was no longer going to make a PDF so I closed the tab and made sure to select 'do not save file' upon exiting. I know that this Acrobat has a 'delete source files' setting but I assumed that because the file wasn't actually created, or at least saved as a combined file, I wouldn't lose the source files, but now I cannot find them! So I don't have the files at all anymore, neither separate nor combined 😞 Is it possible for me to access them somewhere?

I recently received emails from Adobe <noreply@adobe.s01.usa1.teams-events.com> that seems to be a phishing scam. Can anyone verify this? The emails seem to populate my Outlook calendar with events for which I haven't signed up. I should have picked up on the email starting out with "Hi Zarui, Your spot is reserved for this event." (Not my name). If this is legitimate and somehow I signed up inadvertantly, I would appreciate any help in unsubscribing. If this is a scam, I'm going to have to change my Microsoft and Adobe passwords.

I have past agreements that I am trying to remove to historic agreements.  I have gone into the web interface and click Hide, but the document still shows up in the web interface and locally.  I would like to remove this due to GDPR concerns.
