I am trying to get AI on Adobe Acrobat Reader to answer a question in a PDF document, but it says 'some content in the document question and or answer violates the user guidelines'. However, the PDF is a document that was a peer-reviewed academic paper published by the UK Government about child s**ual exploitation. It should not show this error message. 

I'm working on Arabic religious text PDFs (Quran content in Arabic, Urdu, and English). In Adobe Acrobat Pro, the checkmarks in check boxes appear black.  If the same file is opened in a browser (Sharepoint or Teams), the checkmarks appear as orange - which fails the minimum color contrast required by WCAG 2.1 AA. How do I force the checkmarks to always appear as black, no matter how the document is viewed?

I am constantly unable to make pdf files from Word. I get the following message(s): %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%%Aptos not found, using Courier.%%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: xshow ]%%Stack:-dict--file-%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %% ****No pdf gets created. What is the problem? I have a full Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.   

Trying to open Acrobat Pro DC - Got a message "Please wait a few minutes while update is installed". It never updated.  I'm on a MacBook Pro OS 11.5.2. I tried: rebooting, signing out and in of CC, and uninstalling from the CC dashboard. After "Uninstalling" the application is still there, but now I got the attached messages. I used the uninstaller in the app folder and that worked. However, I can not reinstall it from CC now.In the CC dashboard it shows up and says update availabe but "Open" is greyed out and there is no option to reinstall. I can open other Adobe CC apps including Reader but now I don't have access to Pro DC.TIA for help. 

Hey all... Still having this problem, so posting again and hoping someone has an answer. I used to use Acrobat Pro XI on my Mac and when I wanted to edit an image from a pdf in Photoshop, it would open the original image, not the cropped version that was in shown the pdf. I had to upgrade to Acrobat Pro 2020 and now when I open an image in Photoshop from a pdf to edit, it only opens the cropped version as seen in the pdf. Is there a way in Acrobat Pro 2020 to force the image to open in its original non-cropped size like it used to? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer...

I am taking a graph created in Powerpoint and saving it as an svg file. Then I am inserting it into my word document. When I save the word document as a pdf, the image is no longer searchable. I have a coworker using a MAC that is able to do this but on my PC, it isn't working. Is there an option I am missing in these steps to allow me to do this? 

Since 9:30 am, Acrobat has been getting hung and crashing each time I try to use the Replace Page feature. Restarted and updated my desktop (Windows 11) and checked for Acrobat updates. The app will open normally, but once I start messing with the pages it crashes each time.

When using certificate signature. I can do the sign process, save the file in the shared drive. The file gets created with no error but when I open it, there is no signature. Adobe is updated to the latest version.

I created a form and while in "prepare a form" I was able to see the text fields. In preview the text seemed to disappear and when I printed or shared the file the text isn't visible. I google searched and removed all security, made sure field "visible" under properties and I still can't see the text in preview or when shared.

I have a drilling template that is on letter size paper, but it needs to be printed actual size (100%) for the hole pattern to match the equipment. In our manufacturing facility the person printing the document doesn't always read the "Do NOT Scale" instructions when sending the doc to their local printer.  Is there any way to set the pdf to always print at 100% or is that always dependent on applying the correct printer settings when the file is sent?If there isn't we will need to send the file to a commercial printer so we can be sure that the result is sized correctly. Thanks!

I want to change font size of a text which is loacted on left bottom of every page in a pdf. How can i change it without doing it manually in every page.

Are there any best practices for optimizing a PDF for web use? I run a dessert-themed site and sometimes share menus and guides, like this weekly crumbl cookies  menu I’m working on. I'm trying to use the sign function for the first time in acrobat and this error keeps popping up as I go to a request signature. It says "request must be made to correct API access point (e.g. use GET /baseUris)" how do I get it to work?

Hi there! I have encountered an error saving a password protected pdf in a shared file drive on Windows 11. Once I save a PDF to a folder within the drive, I can access it as normal. However, for once I password protect it and then attempt to save the PDF, I recieve a "This document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder" error. Acrobat suggests that the file is a .tmp file as soon as I attempt to save it, thus generating the error.  Is this a bug?  Thank you. 

I am running desktop Acrobat Pro on a 2023 Macbook Pro (Sequoia). I have a document that I have worked with for a long time, but  I can no longer see most of the content in it. I can see the content when I work in Adobe.com, but not on my desktop app. I have removed the checkmarks on smooth line art and smooth images, but that doesn't fix the issue. My use of Acrobat Pro is fairly limited to reviewing and minor editing of documents, so I am struggling to understand the problem. Can anyone help?  I can't upload the document here due to work restrictions, but below is a screenshot of the issue: 

I have this document JavaScript that is suppose to work in conjunction with a fields custom validation script, which is to prevent a user from leaving a field blank. It does not seem to work. My PDF has all the items tagged and I can access the tags when in the tag panel. But if I try to use the Reading Order tool or view the tags in the Order panel the tags don't show up. Has anyone seen this? Is there a way to fix this?My biggest concern is figuring out if this needs to be fixed being that we are trying to ensure the PDF is accessible. This is a problem I am seeing with just the first page and not the second page. I turned our childcare center's registration packet into a Webform. 60 people successfully completed it. One person says it times out on her. One. She's tried her phone and her laptop. I asked how long it took her and she said 20-30 minutes (which is ridiculously long given the form). I've searched the forum and the only solution I could find was extending the timeout setting that I can't find in our level of subscription (we do not have Enterprise).  Is there a way I can troubleshoot this for her? Do I just need to give this one person a paper/pencil copy and give up?

1. Adobe Build: 25.1.20529.02. i Mac,  with Sequoia 15.53. Whilst running an OCR on a large document, Adobe (versionBuild: 25.1.20529.0) continuously pops to the front of the tiles which inhibits you to do anything else on any other program. I would be working on MS Word and then Adobe would pop up, you would go back to word, start typing and it would pop back to the front again. I am using an iMac, with Sequoia 15.5. My Macbook Pro and wife's Mac does not do this. I have also reinstalled Adobe, used the cleanup tool and reinstalled Adobe Pro.4. One would expect to be able to continue working while this is running in the background. Any one else experienced this issue or has advice on how to fix it? It ruins your day. Thanks.

I have setup page labelling and it works great if the file is opened in Acrobat.  But open the file in Edge (only one I have tried so far) and the page labeling no longer works. My doc has 1230 pages.  The first 9 include the cover, intro and TOC I have labeled as i, ii, iii ..., the next 1221 start at 1 and go to 1221. When in Edge the user can only pick from 1-1230 which does not correspond to the page labeling so if the user enters page 3 they get ii instead of the labled page 3. I am using version 2025.001.20531 64bit How do I fix this so the labeling is consistent across various different pdf readers?
