This is a continuation of Re: Acrobat Reader XI for Mac does not pass Job Handling-Authentication-User Number from the OS print se We are a higher education institution with many Mac users. Certain departments have Ricoh printers configured with User Codes. However, if the user simply opens a PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Adobe Acrobat Pro on their Mac OS X system and goes to File - Print and selects Print, the job will not print. The web interface of printer reports an Authentication error (Access restricted), but the User Code is saved correctly. If the user goes to File - Print and selects Printer... changes nothing and just clicks Print and then Print again, the job will print correctly. Will Adobe fix this issue?

Hi all,I am having an issue with the 'Sign In' button on Adobe Acrobat Pro continuous release ver 2024.005.20421 on Windows 10.  The text of the button changes from black to blue when I hover the mouse cursor over that area, but it does not respond when clicked. If I try to sign in via the help menu there is an 'initializing registration please retry after a minute' message. The same result is encountered on several workstations. I suspect that the issue is related to blocked URLs as internet access is quite restricted in our environment.  https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/endpoints.html Referring to the above link. *.adobe.com and *.adobelogin.com are already allowed and I can login via web browser.   Has anyone else encountered this issue?  Are there other URLs to be allowed for the Sign In function to work? Thanks for your help.  

I have installed Adobe Acrobat Build: 25.1.20432.0 on my iMac running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.1. I just need an Acrobat product that I can open PDF files, annotate with comments, use basic highlighting functions in Acrobat and hopefully is still a free product. The first question is am I using the proper 64-bit Adobe product for Mac OS 15.3.1? I can go to Finder, display Applications, left click on the Adobe Acrobat icon and click on Open to open this application. This is the only application on this computer I have to do this process to open it. Then once it is open, I cannot double click on a PDF file to open it in Acrobat--I have to display the folder in Finder, right click on the PDF document and finally click Open to opne it. And it often occurs that when I click on the Acrobat icon in my System Tray, Acrobat will just quit without any messages. Please help because these long procuedures for opening Acrobat and PDF files are just plain tedious!! Thanks for anyone's help with these pro

 I am trying to create a link in a PDF with Acrobat DC. I have made the box around the text for the link, but I don't know how to add the URL I want to link the text box.  I have clicked on the link in Edit PDF,  Added a box around the text for the link. In step 4, I opened a Web Page in another tab and copied the URL.  I don't know where to paste this URL.

I am working on a form that uses multiple text fields to calculate a total field that I need to then have divided by half using a checkbox.  I am able to get the total of all the fields, but when I add the check the checkbox it will not divide the total.

I created a simple "Hello World!" tagged PDF and added a hidden sign cert. I have Can anyone help in this is problem ? I have a pdf of 312 pages and all pages are digitally signed from a digital signature pendrive which is issued by a trusted authority, Problem is i am unable to verify signature after 250 pages means from page 1-250 all pages shows signature is valid, from 251-311 it says unable to verify signatures it shows me red cross and at last page 312 it again shows that signature is verified.If it was problem of pdf then please note that i have already tried it with many pdfs there is not a problem from pdf side, i think only adobe reader cannot verify siganture after 250 pages. Please someone help me in this.

Why will my settings not stay selected everytime I reopen Adobe?  Specifically the Undo option, Clockwise page feature, measuring tool and any defaults related to color of lines or text call out boxes.  Also the "open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch) doesnt work. Thanks

I'll second this request. I am looking for .admx groupo policy templates that are newer than 2015, which were provided by the support chat rep. Specifically I am being asked to enable Microsoft Purview Information Protection on all Acrobat computers.

Hi, I don't know why every time I try to fill out any documents using fill and sign tool the words are transparents not in black color, I removed the app and reinstalled but the problem still exist.

As the Subject Title states, printing is super frustrating with Adobe Acrobat because printing simply does not work, or I am not patient enough to wait 10 minutes for the Adobe to process or flatten or whatever it does to get the document ready to send to printer. I figured out that the issue was not my printer but Adobe Acrobat after I send the same PDF's to print with the Apple Preview PDF reader instead of Adobe Acrobat.  How can the industry leader and innovator and paid app be so frustrating and hair pulling to use? seriously, get your *£$&%@*^ *£$% TOGETER ADOBE

I've noticed a strange behavior with Adobe Acrobat over the past couple of weeks. When opening Adobe Acrobat on a Mac, it seems to launch the Adobe Acrobat Helper app instead. I assume this is now part of Adobe Acrobat's structure, but I’m not sure why it's happening. Essentially, when you open Adobe Acrobat, it doesn't launch the main app directly; instead, it opens the Helper app, which is part of the Adobe Acrobat package. Does anyone know why this is happening?

When I double click on a PDF it takes a long time for Acrobat DC to launch. If I leave Acrobat DC running the PDF file will open in Acrobat DC almost immeadiately. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Meine PDF-Dokumente haben plötzlich eine gelbe Seitenfarbe, sowohl auf dem Bildschirm als auch beim Ausdruck. Ich habe schon die Optionen für die Barrierefreiheit geändert und kann in einigen Fällen die Dokumentenfarbe händisch auf Weiß stellen, was aber unbefriedigend ist, da dies nicht für alle Dokumente gleichermaßen zu gelten scheint. Bei einigen Dokumenten hilft dies, bei anderen nicht. Ein Muster kann ich nicht erkennen. Aufgetreten ist das erstmalig bei einem mir per E-Mail zugestellten PDF-Dokument. Interessanter weise tritt dies auch nicht auf, wenn ich das PDF im Browser oder E-Mail-Client öffen.Was kann ich tun

I was able to view the document straight from the download, but now I get an error message.  I need to pull an invoice from a website, but I am just getting an error message instead of being able to open and save the document.

All of the users use the "T" toolbox tool to add comments on PDFs.  Now a single user selects the T toolbar and clicks inside the document, it just creates a locked text box that can't be unlocked or typed inside of.  You cannot even delete the empty comment because it is locked.   

Untill recently I had the page view setting two-up with cover as the default page view setting. Then in order to try to correct a creative cloud issue the IT department uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat. Now I seem to be unable to set "Show Cover Page in Two Page View" as default. The majority of the documents have set page layout as "default" so the documents should not change the view.How can I restore my previous default view setting?

I am filling out the form from IRCC, the IMM5257 Schedule 1. After completing the information, the next step is validating it, and barcodes will appear. However, barcodes do not appear. I have reviewed the form several times and followed all the instructions on the website, but nothing works. I have the latest Acrobat version and Adobe is my default software to open pdf files.
