My Acrobat 26.1.21563.0 on macOS 12.7.6 doesn't print the text correctly from certain PDFs.Preview prints the exact same PDFs without any issues.Any ideas why this might be happening and how I could fix it? TIA!  

When filling in the PDF form fields (of the PDF fillable form that I created), the text duplicates into every other field in the PDF, regardless of which box you type into. Help?

Adobe Acrobat 2026.002.21901 64-bit. Windows 11.  The Preflight dialog is not opening using the Preflight button or the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + X.  I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, waited for the Preflight plugin to install.  I’ve toggled the Security settings on and off, disabled my virus checker but I cannot get it to load.  The Plugins says Loaded: Yes Certified: Yes  Version: 18.6.0 (276) Date: 9/6/2026 9:47:30 PM. The Preflight.api is present in the Plugins folder.  What’s up with this? Anyone else having this issue?  I used it last about a month ago and it was AOK then. I need this tool!

Adobe Acrobat’s AI Podcast feature is useful, but I’m confused by one major limitation: why can’t users download the podcast audio they generate in Acrobat?The audio is effectively trapped inside Acrobat. There’s no normal MP3/WAV export option, which means users can’t simply save a podcast they already generated and listen to it elsewhere.Can Adobe explain why Acrobat was designed this way? Is there a technical or licensing reason, or is this an intentional product decision?I’m specifically asking for the reasoning behind the limitation, not just confirmation that downloading currently isn’t supported.

Acrobat's AI podcast feature is great!!!But how do I save the actual audio? I’d like to attach it to my document and be able to send out (or post) both the podcast summary and the document together.  There doesn’t seem to be a link to download it or even a link to share it.This AI model is amazing :)Thanks in advance.

I'm working on a small pressure-conversion tool and I'm interested in how people normally present pressure values when documents or specifications use different units.For example, a specification might give a value in kPa while the reader is more familiar with PSI.Would it be better to display both values, such as 250 kPa (36.26 PSI), or provide a separate conversion tool?I'm particularly interested in approaches that make technical information easier to understand without making the document look cluttered.

I have a legitimate standalone perpetual licence for Acrobat XI Pro (Windows), currently updated to 11.0.23.Before disposing of my previous PC, I specifically used Help → Deactivate while the computer was online. Acrobat reported that the deactivation had completed successfully. I therefore no longer have access to that computer.I have now installed Acrobat XI Pro on its replacement. My serial number is accepted as valid, but activation fails with:“The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers.”Selecting “Retry activation. I have already deactivated one of my other computers” simply returns the same result.I understand that Acrobat XI is end-of-life and that Adobe no longer provides normal technical support for it. Since the last two updates, Acrobat DC (now: 2026.001.21662) does oftentimes not start anymore. When that happens, I have 2 or more “Adobe Acrobat” processes running plus all the other stuff (collaboration, AcroCEF, Licensing...). Acrobat will only start if I close all the ”Adobe Acrobat” processes manually. If I recall correctly, this happens since installation of the latest two updates.  

The attached PDF file has some filled+outlined text. In Acrobat Pro, select “Use print production” and then “Save as PDF/X”. Choose “Convert to PDF/X-4 (Coated FOGRA39) and press OK. The resulting PDF now has incorrectly rendered text.Expected: Filled letters are aligned with their outlines.Actual: Filled letters and their outlines are offsetted.

Hi, I am trying to add a signature in a text box field like this one, but it always ends up behind it. I couldn’t find any way of layer ordering this. Is there a solution? The box appears to accept just text and can’t select it to add signature or anything. Thanks!!

I am making shape poems for a book, nearly going to print. I wrote one file in Ariel and suddenly the PDFs I am making from this file convert the grey text to black. Help!

I just purchased a Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, and tried to upgrade my Adobe Acrobat. However, I am running into a repeated issue where Adobe says "Upgrading Key Features" and getting stuck on continously installing. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat. Please help. I am about to ask for a refund, this is horrible design and service if even after I pay I cannot use it.

 I'm having a lot of trouble saving large combined PDF's. Please help. Using Acrobat Pro. Sometimes and error message comes up. Other times it just doesn’t do anything and it’s still not saved.

I am trying to remove the following two Add-Ins from Outlook:Adobe PDFMaker Office COM Addin Adobe Document Cloud for Microsoft Outlook - AcrobatI do not wish to use either, and they actually cause Outlook to freeze completely.Disabling them from the Add-Ins, as suggested in the threads below, does not work permanently - the Add-Ins keep reactivating on their own.I have already read the following threads, but none provide an actual solution to the reactivate, apart from users providing custom instructions and scripts to trick the Adobe product. Is there an reliable way to prevent Adobe from reinstalling these Add-ons?   

 I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Instructions I have found online state Select All tools then Organize Pages. Then select Insert - Blank Page. I don't get that option. Instead, I get an option for Insert Pages. When I select that I do not get a Blank Page option. If I check the page I want to insert a blank page after, I get an Organize Pages pop up, which does not let me insert a blank. Help!

How to use a PDF form like a mini-database?  

I have 35 devices which are not updating Adobe Acrobat. I’ve not been the one installing Acrobat, I’ve just seen the vulnerabilities for the older versions that are installed.How do I enable automatic updating on these? I’m assuming that there are various registry keys I need to configure?Should there be a scheduled task? I just want to give feedback on features I wish acrobat had after nearly two decades.1- shortcut ribbon in the attached screenshot is a disaster. you can’t minimize it, you can’t edit it. what is it good for?2- adobe print to pdf just loves starting up downloaded PDFs without being prompted to do so. turned it off from the preferences menu and the computer’s device settings on Acrobat print to PDF. apparently it has the memory of a goldfish so i have to do it again at every turn.3- customizable shortcuts. how is a billion dollar company not getting this?? i don’t want to press “d” and get thrown at that sometimes unending speech bubble thing. where. is. the. pen?! why would i have to press shift-d 7 more times to get to it? is the speech bubble *that* useful to anybody?anyways. you’ve been asking me for feedback a lot lately. here you go; more feedback for you to not consider.takes up a lot of space at times. 

How do I get (paid) support for my companies Adobe Acrobat license? I have an Adobe Contract Number, but this account seems to be a non-enterprise customer support channel account. Anyone knows what/if I have to do something more?

The adobe acrobat plugins bydefault gets installed the MS Office suite and other supported browsers. The most annyoing situation is when it keeps coming back whenever the office suite is updated. The temporary resolution is when you disable it from the addins in the office suite. But there is a permanenet solution to this too. Duirng the installation of adobe acrobat, just select custom and uncheck the PDFMaker. Here, there will be two options, one is you can select to uncheck on selected plugins or you can select to uncheck PDFMaker completely. After you do this then proceed to installtion of adobe acrobat. This will enable the software not to install the plugins in your system and you are free from the plugins forever.
