Previous versions of Acrobat worked smoothly when simply dragging and dropping saved PDF compatible Adobe Illustrator files onto Acrobat to open instantly. Now Acrobat obnoxiously pauses while "Uploading file to Adobe Document Cloud..." and then "Converting your file..." before opening or sometimes won't open at all and locks up Acrobat. I've turned off preferences for uploading to cloud to no avail.Saving out as an .ai legacy version seems to work quicker without the uploading and converting to open instantly.

When I create documents in pages and then export to PDF, when I open this in Adobe the text from the graphs is missing, however when I view it in other PDF viewers such as Preview it is displaying correctly. 

First I am extremely new to anything with adobe and everything I have been doing has been trial and error and a lot of looking on line but this last step has me stumped as I guess I do not have a "full blown" developer version of adobe.  Just had audit jump on me for "approving" invoices as I should have only "approved" the current charges.  So I made a dynamic stamp that has the time / date (that code is working) but when I try to fill out the identity I am running into issues.  This is the "code" I am using but guess the file name is not the same as the "stamp name".  if ((event.source.forReal)&&(event.source.stampName == "#ETn8uQFMCHNimOBiOYqMBA")) { event.value = identity.name; }Unfortuantely I do not have "Page template" nor "java control panel" nor "java console" and wondering if there is a way to get the "stamp name" for the file.... etn8u....... The code i am using for the data is working fine and is.......event.value = util.printd("h:MM tt

So I get this error and I have read through alot of post and ideas on how to fix it, but no luck yet. Im trying to open / convert a Docx files into a PDF. error messenge reads"Additional files will need to be installed to create pdf from this file . you must have administrator privileges to install these files. please contact your local system administrator." I have tried reparing the office 365 installation, I did the same with adobe.I have checked that the docx is not set to adobe as standard app.I have updated everything humanly possible.I have tried several different files on different drivesI do NOT have the same problem with XLS files  

Hi,I just purchase Acrobat pro.  The prepare Form feature appears not working.  When I click on that, it says" this feature is getting installed, Please wait..."  I waited for hours, it is still giving me the same message as I click on it again.  What can be done to have it resolved?

I’m currently experiencing an issue in Adobe Acrobat Pro where the text or fonts appear invisible or not rendering properly in certain PDF files. I’ve tried updating the software, checking font embedding, and changing display settings — but the issue still persists.Has anyone else faced this problem? Earlier this month, i.e. May 3, 2024, I had a client e-sign a document... I received the usual "signed and filed" email notification. Today, May 21, 2024, I received an email from the Adobe Sign system for the same document saying it was 'signed and filed' -- again -- what's happening? When I logged into my Adobe account to check on what was going on, under activity for this document it says, 'new document URL requested by me.' I have made made no such request. Anyone know what this means? It seems awfully suspicious to me... I work at an accounting firm and we handle confidential information. I'm wondering if my account has been compromised?

My pdf text and images have 4 colors. I want to replace yellow color of tex and images with blue color. How can I do this. Thanks.

I have tried by going into a pdf and creating a link and customizing it but on most browsers it does not highlight. Is there a script I can add to make it highlight when I hover over those links? 

While editing my PDF, I selected text on one page to paste on a different page. After pasting the text, all words then had 2 spaces between them instead of the original one space. Backspace worked backward, and the cursor justified to the right margin instead of the left as normal. What did I do wrong? And, how do I return it to normal function? Please.

When I try to sign a document I get the following error message: "The operation failed because Adobe Acrobat encountered an unknown error." I have tried shutting down and restarting the app multiple times.  I have rebooted my computer multiple times.  I have updated the app and rebooted my computer.   Help!

I have a spread with two pages that have a different page size. Now there is the same space at the top and the bottom, but I want the pages to align at the bottom so all of the space is at the top. How do I do that?  I already tried making the page bigger an trimming at the top but acrobat still always aligns them centered....

Esses outros usuários não estão conseguindo instalar o ACROBAT READER porque o sistema acusa que já existe o ACROBAT STANDARD instalado, interrompendo a instalação do READER e solicitando que eles façam login na sua conta ADOBE licenciada. O Computador já possuía o READER antes de eu atualizar minha versão para o ACROBAT STANDARD, pois assinei a licença. Entretanto, esses outros usuários estão desinstalando o meu ACROBAT STANDARD do computador para reinstalar o READER. Como fazer nessa situação em que os outros usuários do Windows fazem questão de usar o ADOBE READER e não querem assinar a versão licenciada da ADOBE ou usar outros aplicativos de PDF grátis.

It keeps going back to checking the box to "Append to existing file if I accidentally have any other PDFs open at the time of scanning. It works fine as long as NO OTHER PDF files are open at the time of scanning. If I catch the software's automatic choice of "append to existing" instead of my preferred "New PDF," I can get it to create new PDF, but I have to catch it every single time and I end up re-scanning about 1 in 8 or 1 in 10 and it causes a lot of re-work. I use dual monitors and require 2 separate windows for multiple pdf documents.  In each window, I require multiple documents in tabs.  I have up to 5 docs open per window.  I print to pdf from some of the documents (several pages of a larger file) to a new file to annotate/edit.  On the FIRST print to pdf from within the program, Acrobat Pro opens the new file in a new tab in the active (single) window but I'm unable to drag that tab to open a second window.  I have to exit the program, restart it, open two files (in tabs in one window) then am able to drag one of the tabs to start a new window.  After that, as long as I keep both windows open, I can print to pdf and drag a tab from one window to the other.  However, if I restart the program, unable to drag tab to open a new window.  Always have to print then restart to drag tab to open a new window.  Printing or opening new docs in a new window is not an option.  I can't have 10+ diffe

Why can't I edit a fillable PDF? I filled the pdf out previously and signed it. I opened the saved document to edit it again and the original text can be changed but the updated I made when filling it out cannot. I've checked for permissions issues, ensures the document is not locked, and done everything that they recommend to troubleshoot, but no luck. Making a copy didn't help, redownloading didn't help. Please help! 

I have created some simple graphics in Adobe XD:However, when I export as PDF and open in Adobe Acrobat, the label text in the upper lefthand corner is not showing:When I open the graphic in an online PDF viewer, everything shows up fine, so the problem is definitely with Acrobat. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Pro (continuous release | version 2025.001.20432) and restarted my computer (Macbook Pro 2020, running Sequoia 15.3.1), but the problem persists. The font used for the label is the same as the main/larger text and I have checked to be sure this font is installed properly. Also, you can see in the Adobe XD screenshot above that the layers are not hidden. Of note, I have previously exported other graphics from this same document (exact same layout, fonts, etc.) without issue.  What's going on here????? 

Bonjour, j'ai un problème intermittent pour combiner des fichiers PDF, donc je sélectionne les fichiers à combiner, ensuite je sélectionne l'option 'combiner de fichiers dans Acrobat' et il n'y a rien qui se passe, c'est comme si je n'avais pas cliqué. j'ai l'Adobe Acrobat Pro version 2024.004.20220. Est-ce que quelqu'un est déjà passé par là avec cette version, parce que tout ce que j'ai trouvé, il y a la date avant janvier 2024 et suggère comme correction une mise à jour que je crois que ma version a déjà.

The Save As function does not work in Adobe Acrobat 2017 Pro using Safari.  it also does not allow me to save a combine file Binder.  How do I fix this?

The latest Acrobat DC is HORRIBLE! The usability has suffered. Acrobat Express is a major annoyance as it keeps injecting itself into my workflow uninvited. The document editing is more crippled than ever before (a major requirement here). And even scanning multiple documents has gone from 1-click per subsequent pages to 5-6-clicks per page!  I am all too reminded of Microsoft's introduction of the "ribbon" to Office: never needed, never wanted, created major user problems, and they go and give themselves an award for how they are clever designers. Such chutzpah. Acrobat has, from the beginning, been a "productivity tool." I have supported it since its beginnings. My experience with this "DC" version is causing me to rethink my use of Adobe Acrobat tools.  Guys, there is such a thing as "good enough." Im having an issue when trying to organize files in adobe acrobat pro. It keeps saying its not responding. I turned off enhanced security, uninstalled / reinstalled with adobe cleaner, made sure adobe was up to date and ran an adobe repair. Im still having the same isssue. Is there anything else that I can try ? 

Hi Adobe Community 🙂I was using Acrobat to put together a time-sensitive work presentation in PDF form (artist showcase and budget proposal for a major live music event) - This file was quite data heavy (plenty of HD images, hyperlinks, quite a lot of corresponding text formatted in a custom typeface, autosave turned on), with Acrobat seemingly eating up quite a lot of my CPU as it was operating quite slowly when adding in new images, text boxes, gifs and so on. When adding a 4th image to a page, Acrobat went into the dreaded spinning beach-ball of death for 4-5 minutes, then crashing. Upon relaunch, it asked me to give Acrobat full disk permissions, which I went ahead and did, this rebooted Acrobat and now the working file and all of it's contents are nowhere to be seen in the recently opened/edited launch page and is back to original stock template stock version of the file after over 10 hours of work on the project.  I have not found any threads on how to find
