Finally Acrobat was recompiled for Apple Silicon, thank you!But if I create a droplet of a Preflight profile, the result is still an Intel app.Is there a way to make it compatible with MacOS 28?

The attached form has pre-filled in fields in Section 5 that I need to clear, but I can’t find a way to do that. Please advise.

When printing a document to PDF, the colors were way too dark.After a lot of trying I have created  new settings and saved that as a new printer-setting or profile (or how it is named).Now the colors are very close to the original.I'd like to that that (new) setting as my default  - but keep the old one.How to set the new profile as default. Each time Acrobat resorts the old and I have to manually select the new one.Thanks=

I have multiple section PDFs (for example: Front 1, Front 2, Mid 1, Back 1, Back 2) that I’d like to automatically combine into a single, password‑protected PDF. I’m looking for a way to streamline this process and would appreciate any help or recommendations.Ideally, the solution would allow me to:Select a source folder containing multiple PDFs Combine the PDFs into a single file (with the ability to adjust the sort order if needed) Set the document view to: Page view only Two‑up (cover page) Magnification set to “Fit Page” Apply a password to the final PDF Minimise prompts, aside from optionally adjusting the PDF order before mergingThe intention is to save the workflow so that I can reuse it per project, each time applying a project‑specific password.If anyone has experience setting something like this up (for example via Acrobat actions, scripting, or another tool), I’d be grateful for your guidance. 

I have a full Creative Cloud subscription and work on a Windows PC Desktop computer. My Creative Cloud Desktop shows that I have Acrobat Pro installed. However, when I click on the OPEN button within the Creative Cloud Desktop app, it opens Acrobat Reader instead of Acrobat Pro. Why won't Pro open? My hunch is that the Adobe believes that my PC is a tablet, because Reader is default for Mobile and Tablets. Is there a way to disable Reader? My wish is to use Acrobat Pro for everything PDF-realted. I never want to use Reader for any purpose.

On Mac, when using the Print command in any application and then selecting PDF at the bottom of the window to export a PDF, multiple instances of Save as Adobe PDF will show up due to old versions of the application hanging around after version updates. One of my Macs had 9 and another Mac had 3 instances showing. I tracked down that these live in a folder called PDF Services which is located:Macintosh HD > Library > PDF Serviceswhere you can remove the old ones or all if you’d like.Would suggest Adobe clear these out during new installs.  

The contents of the Reading Order panel are not correlating with the order of tags in the Accessibility Panel for me since the v. 26.001.21483 update on 4/24/26.  When I move tags around in either, the change is not reflected in the other panel.  This means I’m having to check and correct tag placement in both panels instead of just one, essentially doubling the work I’m doing. Is this happening for anyone else and has anyone possibly found a work around or way to get them to correlate? Thanks in advance!

I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Mac Studio not going to sleep and keeping the display from turning off automatically. I’ve narrowed down the problem and identified a few programs that might be the culprit. I believe the latest version of Acrobat is preventing my computer from going to sleep. I’ve tried forcing my Mac to turn off the screen after a minute, but with Acrobat open, it won’t turn off the screen, leaving the display on for hours. But I also believe there are a few other programs that have also been affecting my Mac at the same time. This would include Illustrator. Once those programs are closed, the Mac starts going to sleep.

This error began after upgrading to a trial version of Acrobat Pro. I receive the same error when trying to uninstall Acrobat using the Revo Uninstaller. The installation of Acrobat Pro is creating other problems with my computer and I need to uninstall the app. Thank you! 

How to stop the "What's new" pop-upHow can we stop the persistent "What's new" pop-up? I've tried unchecking "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat", but it simply defaults back to checked. Like many other users, I like to know what's new, but this new pop-up is counterproductive and has us considering alternate software for our daily work and client presentations - both of which are constantly interrupted by the unrelenting pop-up. 

 I've lost the ability to drag and drop content from PDF files into InDesign in Acrobat. Is there a specific preference or setting that controls this? I can copy and paste text from Acrobat to InDesign, but that's tedious and cumbersome. Is there a setting that allows me to drag and drop text into InDesign?

Hello,I have a form with a button to add new fillable pages when clicked. Most people can click the button and the new pages show up. There are a few people who click the button and nothing happens. I’ve verified they are opening the form in either Adobe Reader or Acrobat and that JavaScript is enabled. Are there other things I can check?Trish

I am receiving the same error message on my PC when I try to open pdfs or zip files sent to me.  These are from multiple sources and so they can’t all be incorrectly decoded, as the message states.  However, I can open the same files on my laptop.  Please explain.Thank you05/07/2026

I am creating a form with labels next to check boxes. I needed to move some objects around. A) Why can I no longer group select by dragging around multiple objects? Now I have to move each object seperatly?B) Why on earth do these individual text boxes keep automatcally merging into one another when I DO NOT WANT THAT!!!! How do I make that stop? TIA!

Hi Team My predecessor had deployed Adobe pro (as Windows app (Win32) .intunewin) for windows and Adobe Acrobat pro 25.1.PKG on Mac devices in intune.I have noticed that the apps are not being updated.Have tried to update same via configuration profiles but same failed.For Mac, have tried to upload the new 26.1.pkg file but Intune is not accepting it. Current deployment is Adobe Acrobat 25.1_en_US_MACARM.pkg extracted from Adobe+Acrobat+25.1_en_US_MACARM_Downloader.dmg and the new file downloaded from the site is AcrobatPro_Mac_US_30.04.26_en_US_MACARM_Downloader.dmg Have tried to create a new deployment for 26.1 and use it to supercede the 25.1 but it did not work.Can you please assist so that i can have these apps (both Windows and Mac) updated automatically?Thank you for your assistance.Regards

After updating to macOS Tahoe 26.4.1, the "Save As" dialog shows an empty filename field after applying a digital signature in Adobe Acrobat Pro.Setup:- Mac mini M4 (2024)- macOS Tahoe 26.4.1- Adobe Acrobat Pro 26.001.21529 (Universal, Apple Silicon)Steps to reproduce:1. Open any PDF2. Apply digital signature3. Save As dialog appears with EMPTY filename field4. Cannot even paste text into the fieldSame Acrobat version on MacBook Pro M2 with macOS 26.3.1 works correctly - filename is auto-filled as expected.Issue is intermittent - sometimes works, sometimes not, but mostly fails. Same behavior across iCloud Drive, Dropbox, and local Desktop locations.Issue started immediately after macOS 26.4.1 update. Reinstalling Acrobat (clean install via Creative Cloud) did not fix the problem.Business impact: We sign 50+ PDFs daily. Manual filename entry per file is not workable.Please prioritize a fix or workaround.

Hi,  I’m experiencing an issue with bookmarks after performing a "Save As" operation in Adobe Acrobat and wanted to understand if this is expected behavior or a known limitation.  Scenario:- I generate a PDF file, and the bookmarks work correctly.- If I download/open the same PDF directly in Adobe Acrobat, the bookmarks continue to work as expected.- However, when I perform a "Save As" on this PDF and reopen the saved file, the bookmarks are still visible in the bookmarks pane but no longer function (they don’t navigate to the intended pages).  Observations:- This issue seems specifically tied to the "Save As" operation.  Questions:1. During a "Save As" operation, does Acrobat rebuild or modify the internal bookmark destination references?2. Is it expected that bookmark destinations (e.g., named destinations or object references) might be reset or broken during this process?3. Are there any recommended approaches to preserve bookmark functionality when saving a copy of a PDF?   Any ins

The radio buttons "participant role" default to "anyone".And when I try to change that in the properties the corresponding box is grayed out and can't be changed. Is their a way to change it?The problem arose because I was trying to get the signatures of both sender and receiver.The form requires two signatures. One from sender, one from the receiver. But when I set the "participant role" for the sender's signature and sent the form to be signed, I wasn't asked to sign it even when the receiver signed and filled the form.So I changed the participant role in the sender's signature to "prefill" which fixed the signature problem (when I sent it, I first get asked to sign it) but that sent the form already filled out and can't be changed because all the radio buttons were filled by default by me because their role is defaulted to "anyone".
