IdenTrust is a Certificate Authority already trusted by AATL.  I need guidance to submit this root we intend to use for cross-signing, to ensure it's recognized in the AATL trust chain before March 1, 2026 to maintain business continuity.  How do I ensure a new root we have is going to be included in the AATL trust chain?  My goal is to ensure the end entity certificates that are issued and chain up to this root are automatically AATL-enabled.

Hi End user face codtion as below, when they print large pdf file, it can not normally by printer. Although I update adobe reader version or printer driver, it's still the same. Is there suggestion for the condition? Thanks.

I used to be able to add a text box using the typewriter tool in Adobe Acrobat X Pro. However, I cannot find this feature in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024. All I can find in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 is the Add Text feature, but this does not do what I want. I want to add a text box on top of the PDF, not Add Text that modifies the existing text in my PDF and causes all the text to shift over to the next line and modifies all the formatting.

Trying to run OCR on a large body of 90-pages PDFs via https://acrobat.adobe.com/After having processed a few, ca. 200 files, files added to the queue disappear. If I try to OCR a single file it just reads: "Recognizing text... Give us a moment please" and nothing moves and nothing happens. The page limitation is already a problem, but now this? It is written nowhere that there is a limit to how many files one may process a day. Will have to cancel if no solution: I am already adapting by splitting files in 90 pages...

Hi, I have a local application (ERP) that uses Adobe Reader / Browser Plugin to Preview the reports in PDF, after the WIndows Update Security KB5074109, it won't display, ssems that open the application, cause I see it in Task Manager and also sometimes I get the error "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/REader. If it is running, please exit and try again (507:507)"

Hi,I have an Acrobat Studio license and have disabled AI features (bEnableGentech) and Cloud features (bToggleDocumentCloud) for Acrobat desktop to comply with company policy. The "Translate PDF" feature is no longer present.Is there any way to translate a PDF locally, without using Cloud-based or AI-based features?Thanks in advance

We are using Adobe Esign to sign the doc then save the signed copy into SharePoint document via Power Automate flow.Starting from 16 Jan 2026, users noticed that the Download button became disabled, including for documents that were signed previously. Prior to this date, when open those signed documents, they could be downloaded without any issue. This practice has been in place and operating normally for over two years.We have tested this across multiple web browsers, and the issue persists. We tried to use Print funtion then Save as PDF option for saving it, but when open that file locally (default open view through Edge browser), the download button still disabled.Any changes at Adobe esign backend part?

We have recently completed the WebTrust audit and are now looking to enroll our Certification Authority (CA) in Adobe’s AATL program. Over the past six months, I have sent multiple emails to aatl-info@adobe.com, but unfortunately, I have not received any response. Hola buenas, tengo un problema es que despues de la actualizacion de adobe no puedo guardar pdf certificados ya que cada vez que lo intento me dice error al momento de cargar o cuando logra cargar lo que pasa es que se queda pegada la app y la tengo que cerrar ya que deja de funcionar 

Good morning, I am once more attemptiong to make Adobe perform a task that you would assume is normal and intuitive, but then I am reminded that I am using Adobe. I am trying to edit as document.I select "edit".I notice how it completely nelgects to understand font, sizing, and spacing in any meaningful way...as usual.I select ALL the text in the first text box to be edited.Delete it so I am working with an empty text box.Change the font, size, and spacing to what I need it to be.Type the first line without issue.Hit enter to move to the next line.Begin typing, realise my font, sizing, and spacing has reverted to what it was before.I think to myself "perhaps I only highlighted one line somehow".Highlight everything again and change the font, sizing, and spacing while highlighted.Type my second line without issue.Hit enter to type the third line.Notice my text has immediately reverted to the original font, sizing, and spacing. WHY?????  How do I rectify this...i

Good day all, So I regularly have to use Adobe for work and am on multiple monitors and documents.  As such I am moving at high speed back and forth and regularly accidentally click on the "Move page controls out of toolbar" button when going to select "More Tools" for page controls.  This doesn't just "move" the tools, it completely REMOVES them (which once done, to the best of my knowledge can't be undone) and you then have to reselect all your tools individually (which takes forever as you can only do them one at a time).  At a glance without thinking, the icon even looks like it is what you would think a page selection drop down icon would look like. I run WindowsI use "Acrobat Pro - Enterprise"Version 2025.001.20937 (64-bit) How do I remove this button? 

How do i change the default Author in Document Properties so that it always has the name I've specified as the default whenever I create a new PDF document from a Word doc?

Hello,The recent 12-Jan-2026 seems to have changed how highlighting works in the comment tool. It used to be possible to highlight in a blank area , for example under a block of text or music stave, then add text notes. It would also straighten out the drawn highlighter line, which was useful. Since the update, highlight trys to find adjacent text or objects and selects them, often incorrectly. It no longer highlights a length of text or blank space. I find it far less useful now than it was. Please revert to how it used to behave prior to the recent update. I can (sort of) do what I want using the draw tool, setting colour and opacity to get a similar effect, but it no longer straigtens out the drawn line. It also means setting the draw tool to do what I want everytime I use it. Thanks, Colin.

So here I am 2 hours in trying to get Adobe Acrobat PRofessional instaleld on my PC, I tried the installer and it installed creative cloud desktop, which I have no desire to use, ever.  Luanch the app, after an hour it says 'Instlaling 42%' to install a PDF editor. God I hope your company goes the way of corel, and soon be cause man you suck as software. 

I work with blueprints sent to me in PDF. I was using Acrbat DC and was able to easily select a line or object to move or remove it. I could also edit or create the text in boxes. I was forced to upgrade to the subscription version Acrobat Pro 25 001 209997 and now I can't use it at all. It's extremely slow and I can't easily select a line and delete it like before. Now when I try that all I can get is a select box that's larger than I want and in a random place not where I want it. It must be a setting but I don't know how to fix this.

We are experiencing an issue where PDF files become corrupted immediately after opening them in Adobe Acrobat.This started recently and is happening more frequently. The files are not corrupted before opening, but after opening them in Acrobat they can no longer be opened, neither in Acrobat nor in other PDF viewers.This occurs with different PDF files and from different sources. I am using Acrobat on an M4 MacBookPro runing macOS 15.7.3. After upgrading to Acrobat Studio, AI Summary quit working! To make sure the problem is with Acrobat and not something else. I tried AI summary on PDF Expert (which I also own) and Google Gemini (free, but must use Chrome). Both of them work responsively, while Acrobat gives me the error message "Something went wrong. Please try again." However, retry doesn't change the outcome! Moreover, after the "upgrade," Acrobat hangs when I start it from the "Creative Cloud" app! I wonder why Adobe would push out such an unreliable "upgrade" that actually breaks a working product!

I am trying to upate a fillable PDF that I created previously. This PDF has normal text fields and fillable text fields as well. When I attempt to make changes to the fillable fields (deleting, changing where the fileds are so that when you tab it goes to the correct fillable field when being filled out, etc.) and then save the changes, it will not save. I get the following message : "The document could not be saved. Cannot save to this filename. Please save the document with a different name or in a different folder". When I make changes in Edit vs Prepare a Form, the changes save no problem. I tried updating Acrobat but still no luck

It seems this is a common and recurring problem.  Most posts say to upgrade to latest.  I am running Acrobat (64-bit) (25.001.20982) which I just updated today.  I CANNOT get the page size to show regardless of what I do.  Any ideas here?  This is a VERY simple and basic feature.  

Je suis en train (d'essayer) de créer une application (éxécutable sur PC), en python, me permettant de faire un montage (imposition) pour l'impression professionnelle (imposition en 4 poses suivant les formats). Pour l'imposition, il n'y a pas de souci j'ai trouvé ce que je veux. Par contre pour enlever les traits de coupe sur le fichier original, je n'arrive à rien. J'ai essayé avec "PyMuPDF (fitz)", "_removeDrawing", "ReportLab", "pikepdf", "PyPDF2" mais rien n'y fait, les traits de coupe ne disparaissent pas... Il faut savoir, que certains fichiers ont des images à fond perdu, donc on oublie le recadrage et d'autre ont les traits de coupe à cheval sur le débord, donc il faut vraiment que je trouve une solution pour les effacer et non les cacher ou recouvrir. D'aitant plus que les fichiers que je reçoi sont d'origines multiples et variées (Indesign, illustrator, photoshop, canva et autres solutions plus ou moins performantes.Quelqu'un aurait-il une idée? PS: je ne suis pas progr

Is it possible to create a signature field in Adobe Acrobat 2020 Pro and also use it as a text field if needed? It should then also be usable in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free version). If not (which I suspect), is there a workaround to achieve this? ...in simple steps.

We're having this issue pop up among random users where the C:\Windows\Installer folder is filling up with tons of .msp files that belong to Adobe Acrobat at about 1GB each. This one machine I am currently looking at has over 300 of these files. Is there a reason as to why this is happening?
