Questions

What does Adobe Acrobat do with the content it translates with AI? Does it keep or save it somewhere? Does it use to train its AI? Does it ANY use with it? Ideally, it should not even get out of my computer or be saved. I learned I can disable Cloud Storage sync so it does not save. I tried to ask the representative and after I asked a little more it disconnected itself and sent me to the Financial Department which I did not ask to go. I urge ADOBE to be very clear and honest with what it does truly with the data translated in Acrobat. 

My request e-signature tool doesn’t work on either the desktop or web app. I have an Adobe Pro subscription through my workplace and I am logging in using the business profile.  On the desktop app, I get an error message saying ‘Authentication Failed’ when I try and use the tool:When I logged in to the web app, I received a message saying that the Request E-Signature tool isn’t available on my profile (same message appears on both business and personal profiles):When I try and click on the tool in the web app, it says it is temporarily unavailable and to try again later: None of my colleagues have this issue and can use the request signature function as normal. I have checked the admin console and I definitely have a Pro license. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat, I have tried signing in and out multiple times, and I have tried restarting my laptop. No luck. Hoping someone here might have a solution?

I’ve just had an unfortunate occurrence of Acrobat 2025 crashing on my PC about 10 seconds after starting. - Which was thoroughly annoying and unforeseen. I had to uninstall and re-install as repair did nothing. (And yes, I was quick enough to get to that menu item eventually - after the fifth try) My question is why was I give the option to save or export preferences at any point?  I really don’t to have to mess around with the register in order to back things up. Is Adobe trying to make things as difficult as possible to get back where you where (after such incidents)?  

Estou trabalhando com Acrobat Pro 2020,  e Windows 11. Tento insertar um modelo 3d em *.u3d num documento pdf, e cando carrego o arquivo a inserir, o programa cae e féchase . Non tenho captura do ecrã, porque cando tentas meter o modelo, cae. Já tentei com diferentes arquivos e modelos 3d. Logo aparece uma mensagem de erro, “ a súa sessão pechou incorrectamente, clique para recuperar” o arquivo, que aparece, por suposto, sem o modelo. Esta versão de Adobe debería permitirme fazer a inserção. 

I had tried Adobe Acrobat Pro free trial with my personal account on my laptop, but after i switched to enterprise account and get the prompts shows: You don't have access to this feature, please contact your IT admin for more details.   when i am trying to edit PDF file.    How can i fix this issue? Thank you for your help!  Connect IT admin is not work at this point.PS: my enterprise account has assigned licenses, it works well on the other laptop. 

Hi,This has been discussed on one other post a month ago without solution but it is still a big problem, in Acrobat (and Reader) DC 2019 our valid signature is marked as invalid. The certificate path shows "Invalid policy constraint" for the issuing certificate paths and the signing certificate. The certificate is issued by Sectigo and AATL approved, this is generating a lot of inconveniences because we can not sign documents anymore .. PS:BTW It also display that the "Document has been altered or corrupted since it has been signed" just when it was generated ..Really Adobe ???Any hints out there ? A better piece of software perhaps ?Cheers, Roland.

I have a form that calculates fees for a permit. Everything works perfect and calculates the total accurately.  My problem is that I have a radio button set up next to the total that is a simple yes/no. If yes is checked, it is supposed to double the total fee. If no is checked, the total fee should remain as is. I have tried every variation I can think of and read all the forums I can find. It seems like it should be extremely simple but I am stuck.  Any advice?

I have designed a 2 page form.The tab order was not how it was supposed to be so I started changing it.Page 1 is all fine and it went smooth.When I got to page 2 however it stopped working.No matter what I do, I cannot change the tab order for any of the fields on page 2.I tried again on page 1 and that still works fine.What is wrong with my 2nd page that is not allowing me to change the taborder?

The state legislature produces many documents for the public. Proposed and enacted laws, testimony,  legal references, etc. Is there a template for these so that readers always read the page number and header first, footers last AND will read out that something is a header or footer? 

As a legislative body, we produce an abundance of public facing financial records. Currently the reader “Read Out Loud” reads across, not the vertical columns of figures and sums.  What’s the fastest way to correct that without changing the order for every single section of every single document every single time? 

Hello, I am using a M4 MacBook Pro (MacOS Sequoia 15.5) and have been consistently experiencing an issue with a background process known as "Acrobat Collaboration Synchronizer" that is rapidly draining battery, regardless of Acrobat being closed and my computer being in sleep mode. When in sleep mode, the computer gets extremely warm.  I've noticed a thread about this from last year; however, the issue is still not fixed. I have Acrobat and all other Adobe apps on my computer up-to-date. My computer is also up-to-date. Does anyone have a working fix for this? Is Adobe even working on a solution? Thank you! 

Hello,I would like to ask if there is any support, initiative, or research for signatures using post-quantum cryptography. There is the PAdES specification, based on ISO 32000-1, which is supported in Acrobat, but it's quite old. Does Acrobat support some format of PDF signatures using PQC? Whenever I print multiple pages or booklets, Acrobat shrinks the pages, even though I have adequate margins that don't need shrinking. For example, I have two 8-1/2 pages printed 2-up on an 11 x 17 sheet. Acrobat always shrinks the full 8-1/2 inch page to fit within the assumed printable margins of the larger page. Likewise, I have a document set up as 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 to print as a booklet, and Acrobat shrinks the pages to fit within the print area of the sheets. This is doubly frustrating because my printer will print edge to edge (it is a Xerox Phaser 7760GX color laser) on all sizes of paper it handles.

I have been exporting PDF calendars to Word docx tables for 3+ years with increasing formatting problems but now it’s got the text wrong and it would take too much time to clean it up.  My subscription is up for renewal in  a few weeks and this is a major part of my client work.  What happened to the export function?  I am still using Windows 10 and Office 2019, but have been granted absolution into their ESP program for this year.  I have tried both my desktop version and the online version. Both create the same horrific files.   HELP!

I scan a lot of pages from books on my job, and I need to be able to cut the individual PDFs in two, in order to get one book-page on each PDF.I am too lazy to scan each page individually- can Acrobat XI Pro do that?It ought to.. I mean, it´s pretty expencive:-o

Error Placing Image. Selecting Touch Up Object Tool, Right clicking and selecting Insert Image, select a jpeg file (or any other picture file), and get error "Incorrect PDE Object type".Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 with Windows 8.1. I can't even insert an image created in Photoshop Essentials.

When using Adobe pdf as the printer in AutoCAD, texts and dimensions become really bold!This issue has appeared recently. It's not related to the lineweight or fonts in the AutoCAD since I've tried changing all settings related to that. It's definitely something related to Adobe printer. For now I'm using .pc3 printer in AutoCAD, but would be nice if I could use Adobe pdf printer like before. Is anyone else having a similar issue or has found a solution?

One of my end users sent the following message, "Each time I open a .pdf, it locks up, shows not responding, and then I have to close the file." No other Adobe Acrobat Pro x64 programs on other computers yeilded the same errors and are on the same version. Makes no sense. The settings are all the same across the board.

Hi, I'm trying to obtain some urgent assistance. I am trying to attach files to a PDF document (original document is 3 pages - an index). I go to Edit > Attach a File > select the .pdf file and then it will either show the file in the attachment panel and freeze or Adobe completely crashes. I have tried attaching files to different documents incase the index is corrupt - same thing. I have tried attaching different files in case the attachments are corrupt - same thing. We have done a repair and re-install, I have disabled the new Acrobat and tried the old version, disabled protected mode at startup and enhanced security, closed every other program so only Adobe is open and nothing has worked - it still crashes or freezes. I've even left it frozen for 30 minutes to see if it "needed time" but it didnt't. Please help! There are guidelines we have to follow with the format of the document which means the attachments can't be added as a comment. I'm going crazy!

To the Acrobat Developers:The Acrobat accessibility checker does a fantastic job the most part. Regarding headings (H1-H6) it does check to make sure that a document’s headings are properly ordered, if it has them. However, it does not create a failure if a document has no headings at all, specifically a H1 heading. This is critical. Every document must have at least a H1 heading to be accessibile.Please consider adding that feature to Acrobat’s accessibility checker. Other than that, it does a very good job.Thanks so much.

I'm trying to setup Microsoft sensitivity labeling in Acrobat 2025.001.20531 64bit. And I keep getting this error during authentication.AADSTS50011: The redirect URI 'acrobat2021.oauth2://miplogin' specified in the request does not match the redirect URIs configured for the application '97bd680b-f203-4917-a342-308a3de4094a'. Make sure the redirect URI sent in the request matches one added to your application in the Azure portal.I have followed the instructions on https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/mpip-support-acrobat.html?linkId=100000367294403 And have tried toggling the bMIPExternalAuthAdmin registry key between 1 and 0 as well with no success.Seems like Azure Enterprise Application 97bd680b-f203-4917-a342-308a3de4094a (Adobe Acrobat) in Azure Government must have the redirect URL 'acrobat2021.oauth2://miplogin' added. Chat support was no help, so posting here.  Thanks!!

 We have 50+ users today that are having Adobe crash a few seconds after launching it. error report detail - <crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" instruction="0x00007FFEFD2FA295"> It was working fine last weekAdobe reader works fine for the same user on their same machine.Adobe version: 23.006.20320We have found that uninstalling and reinstalling seems to fix it but would like to know the root cause and other ways to remediate this or if other businesses / users have been impacted.   

Apartir de março de 2025, todos os pdfs que eu renomeio utilizando pontos, mudam a extensão, o problema não ocorria antes de março, apenas renomeando o PDF com pontos, a extensão é também alterada, isso não ocorria anteriormente, alguém teria alguma resposta para isso?grato
